| Harasawsa, Tetsunosuke
THE INFO.
Name: Harasawa, Tetsunosuke Nickname: Tetsu Age: Sixteen Gender: Male Appearance: Tetsu stands at around six foot tall, though he is unsure of the actual height. He weighs approximately two hundred pounds, most of it muscle. His body is toned and lean. His face is thin, his nose long and this like his face. While he has no real "six pack" so speak of, the definition of the muscle in his body is clear. His legs are probably the longer part of his body, the calves muscled greatly, from spending much of his time training at dodging attacks, and running. His fingers, long as well as quite strong, from all the time he spent with his puppet training.
His hair is a dark black, which he constantly keeps dyed to show none of the white. His eyes, are the emerald green of his people. His clothing is different from that of his clan, his attempt at hiding who he is. Over the traditional shinobi outfit, he wears a black jacket, open with a blue collar, which is popped outward.
At first glance, you would note the serious look on his face. His jaw usually set tight, and his eyes narrowed. The cold look in his eyes would give the impression that he's not a nice person, if you didn't know him already.
Forehead Protector: Standard, around the forehead.
Personality: Tetsu is what you would call an overly logical person. No matter the situation, he would think of what the smartest outcome would be. If he knew that he could win something, he would go through with it, and vice-versa. Though, this caused him to be called a coward by some of the other children as he was growing up. He felt there wasn't any point in going through with something, when the outcome would be a failure. Good or bad, those things didn't matter to him, they were simply titles that people held to be important. Good or bad, no matter how important, if you are foolish and stupid, you die.
Tetsu is by no means a bad person, he just lacks what most would call a....moral compass. Morality means nothing, if you lose or die in the end. You can protect someone all the same, but if you die while doing so, all you will have accomplished is your death as well as theirs. Not to say that he would let someone just die, if the odds were in his favor. Judging by the risk involved in something, he will help as much as they need.
Tetsu isn't exactly loyal to anyone, as many give him instructions that he doesn't think are the best move, which has caused problems with many of his superiors, and directly conflicts with his clan if he were to become a part of it.
Once you get to know him, Tetsu can be a good friend, though most don't see reason to. Though not loyal to any of his superiors, when Tetsu creates a bond with someone, he is willing to bend his own rules, in an attempt to help them if need be. Clan: Kaguya Nindō: Living in the grey. It's better than a black or white existence when you make needless mistakes.
THE NINJA.
Origin: Mizu No Kuni Affiliation: Kirigakure Rank: Genin Specialties: Puppetry & Taijutsu Elemental Affinities: Suiton & Raiton Combat Style: Being a puppet master, Tetsu prefers to let his puppet do the fighting, which would be obvious. In a battle, his focus isn't on crushing the opponent, or destroying them in any way. He focuses more on using his tricks, and hidden weapons in his opponent, to slowly wear down the enemy. A kunai to attack the tendons of an opponent, poisons or other gases to confuse and deteriorate their senses.
The biggest weakness for a puppet user, is the close combat battle. Having to use their hands to control the puppet, it leaves them open for attack, if the enemy gets close. However, because of the Kekkei Genkai of the Kaguya clan, he is able to bring out the bones whenever an enemy gets close, to stop an attack.
He is also quite adept at Taijutsu, for those times he doesn't want to reveal his Kekkei Genkai. Once the puppets are no longer in his control, he can normally keep up with others in hand-to-hand combat, and prove to be a challenge if people underestimate him for being a puppet user. Though, even when using Taijutsu, his goal isn't to crush them. It is still to wear the opponent down to the point that they can no longer fight back. Special Characteristics:
THE BACKGROUND.
History: - Birth, Childhood:
Tetsu was born pure to the Kaguya clan. He was born healthy, and strong is what his parents told him. His parents were relatively young, his mother twenty-four and his father twenty-seven when they had him. He grew up fairly alone, as the clan was spread out throughout the lands, much disorganized. As he grew up, he was taught the history of the clan, and their beliefs. Around the age of five, is when he learned of the clan's Kekkei Genkai, and the dangers it produced. He was told that it was only born into a select few, and those few were extremely special and important to the clan. That they would help rebuild, and reshape the future. He didn't understand too much, being so much, but he went along with it all the same.
It was around the time he was eight years old, when it was figured out that he had been gifted with the Kekkei Genkai. He was playing outside, when a bone accidentally shot out of his arm and into the dirt. He ran home quick to show his parents, who looked upon him with such worry and fear. Not of him, but for him. He would be used for the clan, but they would take him and shape him into a soldier, a lethal killing machine. They didn't want that for him, and so they fled. Their worry eventually lead them to a very small village nearby, where they left him with a nice couple who owned an inn. They had met the couple on several occasions and considered them friends.
He never saw his parents again. The couple was to hdie him, and keep him safe. Thus, he took their surname and became a Harasawa. As he grew older, he came to learn more about his clan and why he was so important to them. It was silly, really. They wanted to be powerful, they wanted to be better. From what he knew about their history, they had come so far, but haven't taken one step forward. They still had the same tendencies, at least those that were higher up. It was their choice, if they wanted to be foolish, but he wouldn't do so. Why take risks like that, when there's no real need to and you can just live your life.
To keep hidden, his foster parents dyed his hair a dark black, hoping that no one would be able to notice of his Kaguya bloodline. As he grew older, he continued in doing so, not wearing the traditional clothes. These were his own choice really, he didn't want to really be associated with a clan who nearly wiped itself out due to it's own pride and bloodlust.
From then on, he followed that ideal, even in school. Learning what it meant to be a ninja, learning how you are supposed to protect others with your own life, all that nonsense. It was mad is what it was, to risk so much when they will just die if you die. People were silly, to have such beliefs. He had no interest in risking his life, which is what lead him toward puppetry. The thought of creating something else to fight at your command, something that could be shattered and rebuilt. It seemed easy, and he liked that about it.
- Genin:
Now, having graduated the academy he received his forehead protector, and began his journey onward as a Genin.
Roleplay Sample: - Spoiler:
It was a foolish mistake, to think that they wouldn't be waiting for him. Out of character for Tetsu to take such a risk, but he had felt too compelled to ignore it. The plan was, to simply scout out the area, find the traitor and deal with it efficiently. It should have occurred to him that the man would have allies nearby. It wasn't a complete train-wreck however, he had gotten a glimpse at a few people the traitor had been working for. Several ninja from a rival land had met up with the spy, out in the open. He should have known that they were planning something, but for a brief moment he was blinded by the need to obtain any kind of information about why they were there.
That was when they sprung their ambush, several ninja appearing on either side of him to trap him in, he counted five in all. They seemed relatively strong to him as well, and he knew that it wasn't a fight he was going to win. Slamming down a smoke bomb, he quickly fled in the confusion, into the nearby forest. It had bought him a few seconds to get away, but they were after him in a moment. Tetsu knew that he didn't have time to set up any traps, so he would just have to hope he could outrun them. If he had to fight, the clear numbers would overwhelm him and he would surely die.
Deciding that it wasn't his day, Tetsu slipped his hand into his pack and withdrew several explosive kunai, placed between each finger on his right hand. He turned and threw them toward the ones chasing him, but not exactly aiming to hit them. Two of the kunai stuck into trees on each side of the path, the the other two into the dirt between. He continued to run, and several moments later the explosions sounded. If it didn't stop them, it would give him more time to get away and find some place to lay low. He was nearly back to the village, but wasn't sure if he would be able to make it back unharmed or not.
There had been no sound from his followers, which made him grow nervous. Were they caught in the explosion, or were they just trying to get him to let his guard down? Either way, he had no plans to relax. Only once inside the safety of the village walls, would he think himself secure. Brushing the black hair and sweat from his eyes, Tetsu turned back one last time, seeing no one. That was another mistake, for as soon as he turned back, he was slammed into the ground. One of the enemy had split off from the others and made his way around toward the front. It was a good plan, and now they had him where they wanted. Surrounded, on the ground, his death imminent. He would die, but he wouldn't just give up to them. Though he was smart enough not to fight unnecessary battles, he wasn't the kind to lay down and die when there was no other option available. His hands snaked behind him and gripped onto the scrolls he kept for his puppets, his eyes narrowing toward each of them. "Come on then." As he ripped the scrolls from their sheathes, he grinned only just.
THE ARSENAL.
||Jutsu||
- Academy Jutsu:
- Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique
Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Chakra Cost: 1CP per 5 clones
- Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique
Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
- Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique
Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
- Name: Explosive Tag: Activate
Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
- Name: Kai • Release
Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Chakra Cost: Cost of Genjutsu + 2CP
- Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill
Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
- Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique
Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
- Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking
Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
- Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing
Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall.
- Kugutsu:
- Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu • Puppetry Technique
Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to use a puppet to attack from afar in battle. This is done by using chakra and forming them into strings which are then emitted from the fingers to the puppet. Should the user’s hands become disabled, either through physical injury or chakra impairment, this technique becomes neutralized. Chakra Cost: 5 (2 Per Post)
- Name: Soushuuha - Manipulate Advancing Blades
Rank: C Type: Puppetry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to hover multiple kunai in the air with their chakra, and direct them to an opponent. Using this technique, the user can unleash a torrent of kunai much more quickly than if each one was thrown individually. By using the Puppet Technique with this jutsu, the user may control discarded or already used weapons. Chakra Cost: 7
- Clan:
- Name: Karamatsu no Mai | Dance of the Larch
Rank: C Type: Weaponry - Taijutsu Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Element: - Description: Karamatsu no Mai is a technique used by the members of the Kaguya clan. The user uses this jutsu to create a mass of razor-sharp bone spikes all over their body. These spines appear to be branches off their pre-existing skeletal structure rather than completely new bones. The user is even able to grow these bones at an extremely rapid rate so they can stab an opponent even as they are growing. They can even use them to block or trap an opponent's strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes them basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to them, they would start to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body. Chakra Cost: 6CP (Additional 2CP Per Post)
||Weaponry||
- Puppet:
Name: Soldier Rank: C Appearance: is a puppet in the shape of a human. Standing at 6'1" with black hair, similar in style to Tetsu's. The first thing to note about the puppet, is the color. It is painted brown, with a black lining in certain areas to give the idea that it is made of wood, when in all actuality it is all made of bone. Created using the Kekkei Genkai of the Kaguya clan, the bones are more durable and harder than wood would be. Every joint and limb on the puppet, is created and put together using smaller bones. For the torso, different ribs make up an entire cage, closed together to make up the upper body. The arms and fingers, legs and feet, all created similarly. The eyes are created using the ball and socket joints, to create the round look. The eyes are painted black, to look like regular eyes. It wears a dark cloak, covering the entire body from the waist down, until battle when it is stripped away. ||Body Slots||
Slot One Name: Bone-sword Rank: C Slots needed: 1 Type: Melee Description: As the name suggests, it is a sword made of bone from Tetsu's body, that he has outfitted inside of his puppet. The sword itself is without a hilt, and can only really be called a sword, due to the sharp edge on one side. The "hilt" is simply the blunt opposite end, just long enough to hold in one hand. It is measured at twenty one inches long. The sword itself is hidden within the hollowed out bone of the right arm of the puppet. The sword, much like the rest of the bone, is very durable, as well as sharp.
Slot Two Name: Bone-Assassination Rank: C Slots Needed: 1 Type: Projectile Description: Inside the left arm, a long conveyor like belt spins throughout the arm. Attached to the arm are several projectile weapons, namely an assortment of kunai and needles. Once the wrist of the puppet is pulled up, the belt begins to detach the next projectile in line and shoot it forth, at a substantial speed. Only a few seconds faster than normally throwing it would. It shoots out and stops at around thirty feet. The kunai and needles are also made from his own bones.
Slot Three Name: Poisonous eyes Rank: C Slots Needed: 1 Type: Projectile/Poison Description: In the head of the puppet, just behind the face is a small pulley system. The eyes of the puppet are pulled inside, and replaced with the same sized balls, which are poison bombs. They are shot through the eyes at normal speed, and don't travel very far. The maximum distance for these bombs to travel, is typically ten feet.
- poison:
Posion name: Sensory Disruptor Rank: C Poison Description: The poison bombs are fairly simple, really. Upon impact, the bombs explode, leaving a cloud of grey smoke to surround the immediate area, only around ten feet or so. Over the course of several minutes, the affected will begin to feel nauseus, have headaches, their sight become distorted, and smell dulled. It is a poison that makes the user become harder to fight, by messing with the sense of seeing and sense of smell. The headache factor, is an attempt at making it more difficult to think and formulate a strategy. The nausea is an attempt at putting their body into an uncomfortable state, possibly making their muscles less effective, as well as their reaction times. The poison only lasts for around thirty minutes. Of course, Tetsu has an antidote to this on his person at all times. Type: Gaseous State Post 0 / Turn of infection Post 1 / Sense of smell lessened Post 2 / Headache Post 3 / Eyesight Post 4 / Nausea

| Yo~ You seem to have created a quite awesome application Having said that I do have some gripes.
First of all the appearence needs to be expanded. Try to elaborate on some of the features you have mentioned. Also you can talk about his facial expressions and what impression he gives to othera.
Secondly the personality and combat style could use a little expansion as well. 50 words more for both of them please?
We require you to list two elemental affinities.
Also Academy Jutsu don't count towards the 15 Jutsu Limit ^^ |
