Signature Traits:
Appearance Joki are never seen without porous clothing. This makes them less protected against extreme weather conditions, however, it serves a very important purpose. Steam from their steam release jutsu can escape via these clothes easier, making their jutsu more efficient and more versatile. These clothes need to be specially made by someone that understands the clan, meaning that clan members are the ones that produce these clothes. On each piece of clothing is the clan’s symbol, which is a wave coming up in a circular motion over a meditating man. Coming off of the man is three strands of steam that touch the inner part of the incoming wave. The pattern makes for an artistic illusion of movement that draws the eye in a circle. For everyday wear, the clothes come in many different colors and styles. There are even porous three piece suits that the Joki that move into more civilized professions wear. The Joki that are involved in combat often prefer battle clothes that have designs that resemble steam. The designs utilize circular patterns that create movement made of different shades of grey. This helps camouflage their techniques.
The Joki generally have dark blue pupils. Around the pupils are swirls of grey that resemble the steam jutsu they utilize. The swirls move in circular patterns like their jutsu do. The Joki’s hair tends to be white or grey with few exceptions to the rule. They generally have high metabolisms, making them thin and tall. They find it difficult to go into professions such as body building because they can get muscular, but their body style doesn’t generally allow for them to get bulky. Because the clan is so large, this is where the similarities end. Of course, there are similar facial features and bone structures, but each Joki looks less like a clone and more like an individual, just the way they like it.
Personality The Joki are independent people. They tend to desire working alone for several reasons. One reason for this is that the Joki are taught to only rely on themselves and their own abilities. They feel it is important to be careful about who they give their trust to. Another reason is that many of them deal in the combative arts for a profession and their clan techniques can easily harm their partner. Even those that aren’t shinobi, body guards, or mercenaries prefer working alone.
Despite being so independent, Joki are great leaders. Their un-trusting nature push them to lead whatever group they are with so that they know they aren’t being lead with false intentions. When leading, they hold back no blows, criticizing those that they lead harshly when they deserve it. In some people’s opinion, they lead too harshly. If a follower steps out of line or makes a serious error, reprimanding can get physical. However, when a good deed is done by a follower, there is much reward given. Recognition can be shown in many ways, from verbal communication to an extra cut in the spoils. This leading style is learned from the clan itself where there is a strict bureaucratic system in place. When they lead a group into battle, they prefer to be the first ones in the fight as opposed to sitting back and letting it unfold and calling the shots from afar. However, if the Joki commit to the attack, you better believe it has been thoroughly planned out.
Joki are calculating. It is important to them to observe a situation before becoming involved in it. Joki prefer to have all the information they need and then act accordingly, weighing their options heavily. Generally, they decide the most efficient, fastest route, even if it involves brutality. This is assuming that this route presents a lower risk to their health or their mission. If the odds aren’t in their favor by attempting to be quick and efficient, the Joki are not afraid to take their time. Ever calculating, the gears in a Joki’s brain can constantly be seen working overtime. This constant thinking is one thing that makes Joki great in battle. They are known as master tacticians by those that have heard of them. Their fighting system, Joki de Notatakai, is one reason the Joki are like this.
In everyday encounters, they are generally sarcastic and harsh. They are unforgiving of what they consider stupidity. Despite having little patience for idiocracy, they are patient towards most other things, constantly displaying a calmness in any situation. Even the most severe situations aren’t enough to cause panic. The Joki are taught to handle any situation with calm, detailed thinking as opposed to reacting out of emotion. Often times, they speak their mind, uncaring towards the consequences. If a thought crosses a Joki’s mind that he/she deems necessary to say, no matter how brutal, it will be said, and despite how hurtful the comment ends up being, they will persist on not apologizing. It’s a different story towards those they consider to be worthy of leading them. With someone a Joki respects, he/she will act respectfully, showing the utmost loyalty and compassion. Of course, it takes either great skill, honorable morals that have been proven to exist within the person, or old age to gain such respect. This respect will take priority over their independent nature.

These are just some of the values that are passed down from generation to generation. These customs are taught during Joki de Notatakai lessons. This fighting style is a requirement of the clan. Each clan member must be able to adequately defend themselves, as well as stay in shape. An unhealthy diet is inexcusable. Even more inexcusable is living without honor. There are many different opinions on what honor is, but as long as the Joki has a sense of having honor within oneself, then the Joki doesn’t have to be banished from the clan. Banishment doesn’t happen often, but it has been known to. When banished, the ex-Joki is tied down and the word “exiled” is tattooed on their forehead. Depending on the crime, dismemberment, torture, or death may occur. The most important part of the Joki’s strict code is being family oriented. Everything is for the family. Any sacrifice that needs to be made for the good of the family must be made, even if it is life itself. To honor family, the clan gathers once a year and throws a small festival.
Kekkei Genkai: The Joki possess a unique chakra that allows for the release of steam jutsu. The jutsu is released through the pores in the skin and can be crafted to make physical jutsu, ranging from steam weapons to steam creatures to jets of steam. Being an advanced form of suiton, some steam release jutsu mirror that of common water jutsu. However, this steam has one distinct difference. Upon physical contact with a creature that didn’t create the jutsu, the steam leaves burns. This is because suiton chakra becomes mixed with katon chakra to produce steam. The severity of the burn depends on both the jutsu and mastery over the element. Those just learning to use the steam will not use the heat aspect efficiently, while those that are grandmasters of Joki de Notatakai (fighting with steam) can cause significant, sometimes irreversible, damage. Fortunately for the user, the steam doesn’t burn the person whose chakra creates the jutsu. Steam release presents a large array of possibilities due to it’s capability to not only be a physical force that can (depending on the jutsu) cut, cause impact, or deflect projectiles while also (again depending on the jutsu) being able to move apart by the lightest touch. It’s ability to cause wounds depends on the concentration of steam in the jutsu. The steam that is concentrated, the more difficult it will be to create and use. When a steam jutsu is created, the texture of the jutsu is a constant swirling of steam that weaves in and out in circular patterns, causing the illusion of movement, even if there isn’t any actual movement in the jutsu itself. Steam release has a specific weakness: wind jutsu. Equal ranked wind jutsu has the ability to overpower steam jutsu and push it aside. So to recap:
*Steam release is an advanced form of suiton, thus, it shares similar properties. Katon produces the heat needed to make the steam. *Physical attacks are possible through the concentration of steam in the jutsu itself. The higher the concentration, the higher ranking the jutsu. *Wind had a distinct advantage against steam. *Due to the heat of steam, burning occurs. The severity varies with jutsu rank.
History: The Joki began as a small clan. Despite their small size, they have proven very important and very influential to Kirigakure’s success as a hidden village. In the beginning, the few Joki that existed were responsible for harnessing the natural fog that existed in the area in order to hide the growing village. Simply put, they were the most qualified for the task because they understood the fog the most through their practice of using steam, although at the time, the amount of steam jutsu they had developed was limited and far fewer than the current quantity. The Joki weren’t fully responsible for the success in regards to the fog that hides Kirigakure, but they certainly played their part. It was this that earned the clan the role of being Kiri’s first ever Protection Service Ninja.
This job led the Joki to want to create secret jutsu for the hidden village. They contributed to the development of such jutsu as the Hidden Mist technique and the Water Clone technique. It was this development that also gained the Joki jobs as elite tutors. To this day, they are desired for lessons by some of the richest villagers to pass down the secret jutsu.
Over time, the Joki clan became more and more desirable, meaning clans wanted to marry into the family. Rich blood married its’ way in, making the Joki larger, stronger, and more powerful. The steam release bloodline seemed to overpower the kekkei genkai of the other clans that married their way in, causing their children to show the physical characteristics and talents of traditional Joki, although some members, when fully developed, can dig deep into their bloodline and use elements and abilities of their ancestors. As the clan grew, the specialization of the clan spread out as well so that the Joki were known for more than shinobi. Some could be specifically hired by allies of Kirigakure, and even Kirigakure itself, to act as mercenaries. Others were hired as body guards. Others went into completely different professions all together. Wherever they went, they were credited for their hard work and dedication to the task at hand.
In the present, the Joki have gone through several generations, developing their fighting style and bloodline abilities more and more. The elderly make sure the clan stays true to their values and continues to be successful by leading the bureaucratic structure the Joki are known for. What they say goes, which hasn’t been challenged in some time. However, that all may be changing soon....

Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Strands Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m to 1m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. This is not necessary if the shinobi is C rank level or above because this jutsu is used to teach a Joki how to use their bloodline ability. After practicing the long hours that a young Joki must in order to master this technique, eventually, the hand sign becomes unnecessary. When the jutsu is active, chakra is constantly flowing through this system, giving off light strands of steam that produce a noticeable, but light, heat. Because chakra is already concentrated, when another steam release jutsu is used, the time required to produce it reduces slightly. It takes one full post of this jutsu being active in order for the effect to work. Chakra Cost: 2 (1 per post)

Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Prison Mist Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Steam Release Description: Prison Mist accompanies the Prison Technique. WIth a victim inside the prism, the user can inject warm steam into the center through their hand. The steam injected into the center makes suffocation within the prison take one post less for each burst of steam. Only one burst can be used per post. The steam is warm, but not warm enough to burn. Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Pellet Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Steam release Description: The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. The user then gathers chakra in his/her left or right hand. A ball of steam forms in the hand chakra was concentrated to. The user then throws the ball, with force, to the ground at the user’s feet. The ball instantly spreads out on impact, creating a screen of steam several meters in length. This is meant to conceal the movements of the user in a short space and is especially effective against those not used to the fog of Kirigakure. If one is to pass through the steam, they will receive 1st degree burns where skin is showing, which is similar to touching a hot burner for a brief moment. The steam will dissipate the post after usage. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Prison Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Steam Release Description: Steam Prison Technique is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes steam to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the steam to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the steam prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the steam rises and their target is released. Direct contact will cause 1st degree burns. After 4 posts, the target will have 2nd degree burns. 3rd degree burns occur after 8 posts of direct contact. After ten posts, the oxygen inside of the sphere will be depleted and suffocation will occur. When combined with a solid bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby. Chakra Cost: 9 (2 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Swipe Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m - 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user will concentrate chakra to his/her hand. The user will then swipe his/her hand in front of his body, releasing the chakra in the form of steam. The steam will be large enough to cover half of the user’s body. The intention is to collide with incoming projectiles and push them to the side. It can also be used to give a target first degree burns. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Blinding Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 1m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user will form steam in his/ her mouth. The user will the blow the steam at the target’s eyes, attempting to get steam into the eyes. The steam is hot enough to cause first degree burns. Getting the steam directly in the eye will cause swelling, redness, watering, and much pain. Without medical attention, the victim will, in the long run, go blind. This jutsu serves as a distraction and directly attacks the sense of vision. Touching the skin will cause painful first degree burns, although not nearly as painful as a second degree burn. Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Trails Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m-5m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. The user then concentrates chakra to the back of both hands and the top of both feet. This will create trails of steam. When the user moves, a trail of steam follows the movement, reaching a maximum length of 12 inches long before the end of the trail begins to dissipate. If the trail touches something, it will engulf what it touches, wrapping around the body parts of the weapons the trail makes contact with. Steam will instantly become concentrated, trapping what it wraps around and not allowing for what is inside of it to get out. By moving something physical, such as another body part or weapon, through the steam engulfing the trapped component, it will free whatever is trapped. However, the steam will engulf what was used to break the trap. Each strand acts independently, allowing for four bonds to be made. The user stays attached and can only keep the strand of steam at 12 inches long maximum. The jutsu can become a battle of strength and seeing who can gain control through pulling and tugging. If the user is weaker, he/she may be overpowered and pulled around. If the trap wraps around bare skin, it will cause 1st degree burns. After four posts, it will cause second degree burns. After eight posts, it will cause third degree burns. Chakra Cost: 7 (3 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu - Steam Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: Steam Release Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes Steam to create a clone. Unlike a normal clone, the Steam Clone has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, but none utilizing chakra. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel further than 10 meters from the original body. If the Steam Clone is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural steam state. The steam is hot enough to cause first degree burns on bare skin and dissipates seconds after the clone is destroyed. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Sword Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Steam Release Description: A jutsu that utilizes steam to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade. This sword leaves 1st degree burns on anything it touches. After direct contact for four posts, the target will have 2nd degree burns and third degree burns after 8 posts of direct contact. The steam that makes up the sword swirls in circular movements, causing the illusion of movement within the sword. Chakra Cost: 8 (2 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu - Steam Whip Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Steam release Description: The ninja will create a whip of steam which can strike and bind an opponent. Direct contact will cause 1st degree burns. After 4 post, the target will have 2nd degree burns and after 8 posts, the target will have 3rd degree burns. Chakra Cost: 6 (2 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Hummingbirds Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Long (0m to 15m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user will send chakra to their fingertips. The user will then point all five (or ten) fingertips at the target. Small hummingbirds made of steam will erupt from the user’s fingers, taking aim at the target. The hummingbirds will curve to hit the target if necessary and can travel up to fifteen meters away. Upon impact, the beak of the hummingbird will leave a small cut. It can cut both skin and fabric. If the hummingbird touches skin, it will leave a first degree burn. Chakra Cost: 6 (3 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Jet Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. He/she then concentrates chakra to the hands. A jet of steam will then erupt out of the handsign in the direction the user is facing. The jet will only be as big as the user’s hands are. The force of the jet can knock an enemy back or, pin the enemy down if they are on the ground, or send the opponent higher into the sky for a moment if they are in the air. Upon contacting the skin, the jet will cause 1st degree burns. If contact is constant for 4 posts, the target will have 2nd degree burns. Holding contact for 8 posts will cause 3rd degree burns. Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Daggers Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user concentrates chakra to his/her hands. Daggers made of steam are created. These daggers can be used for quick slashes and stabs at close range or be thrown at opponents accurately at a medium range. Direct contact with these daggers cause 1st degree burns at one post, 2nd degree burns at 4 posts, and 3rd degree burns at 8 posts. The steam that makes up the dagger swirls in a circular motion, causing the illusion of movement within the dagger. Chakra Cost: 6 (2 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Javelin Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Long (0m to 15m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user focuses chakra to one hand, forming a javelin made out of steam. The user will then throw the javelin at the target. The javelin will arch until it either connects or lands. It is ineffective for hand to hand combat because of a javelin’s design, therefore D rank techniques and up can destroy it. However, when thrown, it travels towards the target very quickly and, if successful, has lethal potential. Direct contact with the javelin will cause 1st degree burns. It will dissipate one post after being thrown. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Bobcat Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes several hand signs, ending with the unique Joki handsign. After concentrating chakra in the hands, the user will then open their hands. Steam will rush forward, making a bobcat that comes out charging at the target. The bobcat is life-sized with sharp teeth and retractable claws. Making contact with the bobcat will leave 1st degree burns, as well as whatever wounds it can inflict. After 4 posts of direct contact, the victim will have 2nd degree burns and, after 8 posts, 3rd degree burns. C rank techniques and weapons can cause the beast to disperse (with the except of wind ninjutsu, which needs to be a D rank technique or higher.) Chakra Cost: 9
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Slingshot Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Long (0m to 15m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand sign, concentrating chakra to their hands. When they pull the hand sign apart, a slingshot will form in the user’s left hand and a pellet of smoke will form in the right hand. This pellet can be fired from the slingshot with bone breaking potential. For small game, it is lethal. After being fired, another pellet forms in the user’s hand. After the jutsu is canceled, the pellets that were fired dissipate. The steam of either the pellet or the slingshot will cause first degree burns. Chakra Cost: 6 (2 per post)
- B Ranked Steam Release- Defensive:
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Sphere Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (3m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user will concentrate chakra into their hands. They will then release this chakra in the form of steam as they twist their body so that their arms are 180 degree of each other. The user will then untwist and take a knee, making a sphere around their crouched figure. This is commonly used to block many projectiles at once, although it can also be used to deflect B rank jutsu (C ranked if it is wind jutsu) or hinder the vision of an enemy and allow for movement to another location or preparation of another jutsu. If the jutsu touches the skin of another being, it will cause 2nd degree burns. The steam dissipates upon the next post. Chakra Cost: 17
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Field Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Long (20 meters) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand sign. Out of his/her pores radiates a steam that travels out 20 meters in diameter. The field is difficult to see through, so anybody that isn’t used to the fog of Kirigakure will have difficulty with vision. The field is hot and will give anybody within it 1st degree burns in 2 posts, 2nd degree in 6 posts, and 3rd degree in 10 posts. Chakra Cost: 15 (3 cp per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Cloud Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m to 1m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user uses the Joki hand sign and concentrates chakra to the part of the body that is facing downward. The user then expels that chakra in the form of a steam cloud. The cloud will slow the user’s fall. After 10 meters of falling, it will float with the user on top of it. This is intended to prevent the user from falling to his/her death. The cloud is hot enough to cause 1st degree burns. Chakra Cost: 10 (4 per post)
- B Ranked Steam Release- Offensive:
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Cougar Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes several hand signs, ending with the unique Joki handsign. After concentrating chakra in the hands, the user will then open their hands. Steam will rush forward, making a cougar that comes out charging at the target. The cougar is life-sized with sharp teeth and retractable claws. Making contact with the cougar will leave second degree burns, as well as whatever wounds it can inflict. After 4 posts of direct contact, the victim will have third degree burns. B rank techniques and weapons can cause the beast to disperse (with the except of wind ninjutsu, which needs to be a C rank technique or higher.) Chakra Cost: 17
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Naginata Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium (7m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user utilizes the Joki hand sign and concentrate chakra to his/her hands. A naginata 7 meters in length will appear in the user’s hands. The blade on the naginata itself is 1 meter long. This is effective at deflecting B rank weapons and technique, with the except of wind jutsu of C rank, but cannot withstand anything higher. Direct contact with the naginata will cause 2nd degree burns. After 4 posts of direct contact, it will cause 3rd degree burns. Chakra Cost: 15 (5 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Improved Steam Jet Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. He/she then concentrates chakra to the hands. A jet of steam will then erupt out of the handsign in the direction the user is facing. The jet will only be twice as big as the user’s hands are. The force of the jet can force the target off their feet, pin the enemy down if they are on the ground, or send the opponent higher into the sky for a moment if they are in the air. Upon contacting the skin, the jet will cause 2nd degree burns. If contact is constant for 4 posts, the target will have 3rd degree burns. Chakra Cost: 12 (5 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Bow Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Long (0m-25m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user makes the Joki hand sign while concentrating chakra to their hands. Steam forms a bow in their left hand and an arrow in their right hand when they move their hands apart. The user can use this steam bow to fire the steam arrow at the target with lethal potential. After the arrow is fired, another arrow is formed quickly. Touching the arrow or the bow causes 2nd degree burns to the target, so having the arrow enter you or getting struck with the bow can cause a surprise. The arrows fired dissipate after the jutsu is cancelled. Chakra Cost: 15 (3 per post)
- A ranked Steam Release- Defensive:
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Tornado Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Medium (0m to 10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user concentrates chakra to his/her hands and extends them outward, parallel with the ground and perpendicular to their torso. They release a great amount of steam from their pores that reach from the ground to ten meters in the air. The steam spins around rapidly in a fashion that resembles a tornado with the user in the center. This will deflect projectiles and jutsu up to A rank (excluding wind jutsu, which the limit is B rank). The jutsu will continue to spin, assuming the user has chakra left to contribute to the jutsu, until it is dispelled, at which point the steam flies out in all directions for up to 10 meters away before dissipating. If someone comes in contact with this steam, it will cause third degree burns. Chakra Cost: 25 (10 per post)
- A ranked Steam Release- Offensive:

The bear is life-sized with sharp teeth and claws. Making contact with the bear will leave third degree burns, as well as whatever wounds it can inflict. A rank techniques and weapons can cause the beast to disperse (with the except of wind ninjutsu, which needs to be a B rank technique or higher.) Chakra Cost: 23
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Steam Kanabo Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium (10m) Element: Steam Release Description: The user creates a kanabo from steam after using the Joki signature hand sign. This kanabo has bone breaking potential. It can even break weapons and armor from E rank up to B rank. When contact is made, there is enough heat to leave third degree burns. Chakra Cost: 25 (10 per post)
Name: Joki no Jutsu- Advanced Steam Jet Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close to Long (0m to 15m) Element: Steam Release Description:The user makes the Joki hand seal, which involves putting the middle knuckles of the pinky and ring finger of each hand together so that the fingertips face downward, putting the tips of the index and middle finger together so that the fingers point to the sky, and pointing the thumb back at the user. He/she then concentrates chakra to the hands. A jet of steam will then erupt out of the handsign in the direction the user is facing. The jet will be as big as the user’s torso. The force of the jet can cause the target to fly back, pin the enemy down if they are on the ground, or send the opponent flying if they are in the air. Upon contacting the skin, the jet will cause 3rd degree burns. Chakra Cost: 24 (10 per post)

After concentrating chakra in the hands, the user will then open their hands. Steam will rush forward, making an elephant that comes out charging at the target. The elephant is life-sized with sharp tusks and a trunk. Making contact with the bear will leave third degree burns, as well as whatever wounds it can inflict. Besides the tusks and burns, the biggest threat from this elephant is getting trampled, which is highly likely to cause death. S rank techniques and weapons can cause the beast to disperse (with the except of wind ninjutsu, which needs to be a A rank technique or higher.) Chakra Cost: 30

The jet will disintegrate most object, people, and jutus in its’ path, although it can be rivaled by other S ranked jutsu and A ranked wind jutsu. If hitting S ranked armor that can stop the heat of the jet, the force is extremely impressive and may send the target flying. Chakra Cost: 35 (20 per post)

| Steam release is an advanced element, yes, however it is created by the use of Katon and Suiton jutsu. It happens when hot meats cold, so please, edit that bit and then I will begin to truly look over the clan. Though, I assume its gonna be a lot of work to change, it may not be, depends on how much you talked about it being an advanced form of suiton. |

| Alright, I have read through just about your entire app (All but the jutsu) and where you state that your clan created most of the techniques of Kirigakure.. that has to go. You can't simply state that you created most of the jutsu known today in Kiri. That's just... not sensible. Anyways, take that bit out and I will have another look and then get going on the jutsu. |

| I took out a sentence saying that "many of the jutsu known throughout Kiri today were developed by the Joki" but left in that they contributed to the development, so they didn't create EVERY single jutsu by themselves, but they helped. Is that okay? |
