| It had started when his father decided to head off to complete a top secret, S ranked mission. He never came back and widowed his mother and left the child fatherless at the age of 2 weeks. However, it was not completely his fault that fate sided against him, and took his life. So there was no point in being mad at him. But this village, Kumogakure, had provided nothing of mentionable value to Toshiro. It brought the pain of having lost his parents, and being adopted by a treacherous man did not make it any easier. Daichi, the man who had adopted him, viewed Toshiro to be nothing but a burden. Despite his knowledge and skill, Daichi could never consider Toshiro to be a family member. It was no longer reasonable for Toshiro to continue on, especially not where he was not welcome.
It was finally time Toshiro thought, time to move on, time to rid himself of the past and dull present. He felt the cool breeze slide by him as he turned back, looking towards the village for possibly the last time. Unsure of the future, he turned back to his path and continued down towards a small crack on the mountainside. What had seemed like a small crack, was actually a tunnel that lead to the other side of Kumogakure. The place where one entered, would brand Toshiro a traitor for life, a nukenin.
Toshiro quietly observed the pathway and obstacles, two Kumogakure chuunin sit quietly on a table to the right side of the tunnel. They had seen Toshiro, and waited quietly, expecting him to show some travel papers, allowing him to exit the village for mission purposes. The only thing he had to his advantage was wood, which seemed to be in abundance in the area.
Ram->Ox->Boar->Snake, Toshiro performs the aforementioned handseals and concentrates. His aim was to simply perform the Four Pillar Prison Technique and trap the two guards as he made his way out of the village. However, as he was performing the required handseals, he noticed the chuunin becoming aware of what he was planning. However, their reaction time did not match Toshiro’s speed at performing the jutsu. He performed the handseals and got as close as possible to the guards by running towards them. He watched as a prison enclosed his enemies.
The trap was set, and all Toshiro was left to do was follow the tunnel to freedom, which seemed to be not far away at all. His reason for desertion was simple. He had gained nothing from the village, by leaving it, he was hoping for a change, and in the process he was searching for his biological mother. He believed the outside world had a lot to offer him in terms of knowledge, and knowledge is the only thing he craved. So without giving it much thought then, Toshiro dashed into the dark tunnel.

| Protective Service Ninja can be found all over the village. They can be found patrolling, at the gates or even doing undercover work or sensory work. Shikari has been a Protective Service Ninja for quite some time now and is very adept at his profession. He was chosen over many other shinobi to become a squad leader. He sat at a wooden table to the right of the gloomy tunnel. Across from him was a rookie shinobi who was new to the team. Shikari was simply going over some terminology and creating scenarios for the rookie. The squad leader noticed a young shinobi coming closer to him. The low charka capacity that was coming from the boy showed that he wasn't as experienced as Shikari was. The boy couldn't have been more than a genin, but maybe a feeble chunin. The Nara kept conversing with his partner who hadn't yet noticed the upcoming genin. Yet once the apprentice noticed, he seized to communicate. The two gate keepers examined and stood by. The genin started to bring his hands together and Shikari become very vigilant. As the first handseal started to form, Shikari started to form his own jutsu. He was much quicker since he was a higher rank and only needed one hand to perform a jutsu.
Pillars of wood started to form around the two. The apprentice easily was taken off guard but the veteran knew exactly what was going on. The superior ground was in the ground quickly and easily evading the jutsu. Once in the ground, there was no problem locating the genin. The genin must have only taken a few steps before the a hand jolted, splitting the earths crust. It was perfectly timed and a jutsu that was mastered, there was little that would stop Shikari from grasping onto the ankle of the genin. If he did, it was easy for him to pull him down and immobilize him. There was no sign of distress or emergency, there was very little noise to identify a skirmish and there was no signal sent out by the two Protective Service Ninja. It would be very surprising if anyone did show up and report to scene.
The other gate keeper still seemed to have trouble in the prism. The Nara would easily pop up from the ground. "Secured!" He yelled towards the other gate keeper to assure him of safety. The tall shinobi looked down towards the genin. One of the many faces that has been seen wandering around the village. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but he really wanted to know. His facial expression said everything. Disappointment, curiosity, confusion. Many expressions were displayed yet not one word was spoken. Simply waiting. The boy should feel safe, there was going to be no harm to him. Shikari wouldn't let that happen without gathering more intelligence. Everyone deserves some sort of trial. Shikari was going to do his job and that is to protect Kumogakure and all of her people! This genin right now, still belongs to Kumogakure which is under protection from the Protective Service Ninja. All PSN take an oath and must withhold that oath under all circumstances, the oathkeepers are never liars. The most loyal any shinobi can get and easily a great honor to achieve.

| Alright here's the deal boys.
First of all, Drake you haven't even gotten your colour yet and you still wish to escape the village? That calls for a big, fat no. We hadn't thought we needed to add something like that to the rules, but it will now. For a village member to escape from a village, he has to have done at least -some- rp-ing previously, and start then with RP-ing out this growing desire to leave.
Also, you NPC'd the guards and god-modded them but a staff is supposed to do any and all NPC when it comes to escape threads.
I shall quote the rules of abandoning a village here below:
THE RULES of ABANDONMENT. When leaving one’s own village, there are a few areas that one must cover first.
- Spoiler:
- Quote :
- 1. A shinobi is instilled with a deep loyalty to their village at a young age, thus, if one has decided to leave, they most role-play out a growing desire for the departure so that it is realistic to their shinobi code, as well as their own personality. i.e. If one's character is known for their loyalty, it would not make sense for them to suddenly up and leave. Please create a realistic reason.
2. Your leaving topic needs to be an OPEN THREAD that is tagged appropriately as [ESC] that will remain that way for 48 HOURS which allows other village shinobi the opportunity to attempt to stop you. After the 48 hours, if a member is not chasing after you, you are free to leave or conclude that topic.
3. Characters are not limited to escaping the village through the main gates only. There are other alternatives, but we hope that you can think of them on your own.
4. Aside from the potential arrival of village shinobi, your character will undergo a battle with a varying amount of NPC Village Guards. You do not necessarily have to combat them, however, they must be included in your escape and if the staff feels that there is an opening for conflict, they will step in and seize the opportunity. NPC GUARDS CANNOT BE METAGAMED.
5. Like any other spar or battle, one cannot leave prematurely if it is not realistic.
6. Replying to potential threats needs to be swift and timely. If one does not respond to their escape topic after the appearance or attack of a foe within three days, the topic becomes null and void. Special cases are exempt from this ruling. To see if you apply, please contact an Administrator.
7. While attempting an escape, new roleplaying topics cannot be created until the initial escape topic has been concluded. This means you are forbidden from creating new social topics, mission topics or event based topics until your escape topic has come to a close. Topics that were created before the escape topic can still be roleplayed within however.
8. ALL ESCAPES and DEPARTURES MUST BE EVALUATED for APPROVAL.
NOTE: If any of the aforementioned rulings are breached in one’s attempt to abandon their village, the topic will be voided and archived immediately.
And Rookie, you are in Kirigakure dude. You can't randomly jump back to Kumogakure and rp there. So your post is just as invalid as Drake's from my point of view. You can both feel free to send me a PM about this matter, but for now this thread is locked to prevent any spamming and needless arguments until an Admin has given a final saying. |
