| Mission Title: Find the Spy! Mission Type: Profession Mission Location: Lighting Country Shinobi Requirement: A Mission Rank: A Mission Objective: A spy from an unknown village has infiltrated Kumogakure and stolen secret jutsu scroll. He just managed to escape the village and you being the only sensor ninja available, you are to stop him. He ins't far from the gates but he can quickly evade from your sensory range if you stall for time. You are to track and follow him, retrieve the scroll and retrieve the spy if possible. If not, kill him. It would take to long for you to assemble a team so you are to go alone, the spy is said to be of A ranked. Min Post Count: 8

Description: The final level in the art of endurance accessible to those who have undergone intensive training in increasing their raw power. The possessor of this talent has an increased endurance of 60% which makes them remarkably tougher and harder to down. At this stage their endurance has transcended so high that they can now withstand even life threatening injuries and continue fighting, even at a point where others would have passed out. In addition, the user can now even fight through the effects of poison and paralysis.
Name: Blurred Hand Movement Rank: A Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Requires no specific specialization. Training Requirements: A 1600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: A skillful and convenient characteristic that is learned to those who have practiced in the art of hand speed movement in nearly all forms. There are many uses for this characteristic as it can enhance nearly all forms of specializations. It is essentially the practice of moving and manipulating your hands with expert efficiency to the point where they become a blur. With this special characteristic a ninja can perform any number of hand seals within seconds or instantly depending on the amount of seals necessary. This allows them to execute techniques faster than the opponent can perceive providing unsuspecting attacks. This technique also allows the user to draw seals and perform attacks with their weapons quicker. Lastly it allows puppeteers to maneuver and manipulate their puppets in extremely high speeds where their hands become a blur.
Name: No Seals Rank: A Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Blurred Hand Movements Training Requirements: A 1600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: The ultimate expression of efficiency creating speed in jutsu use, this special characteristic eliminates the need for the shinobi to speak the name of, or perform any hand seals for, any technique which would normally require such provide the technique is D-rank or lower and within their specialty or E-rank if it is not their specialty. Note that jutsu affected by this characteristic may not benefit from one-handed seals, blurred hand speed, or other effects which affect speed at which hand seals are formed or the number of seals needed.
Name: Elite Evasiveness Rank: A Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Must specialize in Taijutsu, Weaponry or Medical. Training Requirements: A 1600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: With further training and a now natural instinct to keep oneself alive under all circumstances the user now gains this characteristic. The ninja now has perfect evasive talents which allows them to perform a limitless array of stunts and maneuvers to escape physical attacks. Their movements become so fluid and precise that they can even dodge dozens of weapons from all angles by performing quick maneuvers that can range from somersaults, black flips, and other forms of physical motions. Essentially only unavoidable forms of attacks can hit a evasive expert in their prime.

Name: Katon: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Fire Style: Shadow Clone Technique Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: Katon Description: Similar to the traditional Shadow Clone Technique, this jutsu equally divides the user's chakra after the initial chakra cost to produce a single identical clone. The clone is able to perform jutsu on its own and can even sustain a fair amount of damage without dispersing (hits equivalent to A-rank or higher will disperse the clone with a single hit, hits of B-rank and below will stack until the damage is equivalent to that of an A-rank attack). Unlike a typical Kage Bunshin however, this clone disperses with a fiery explosion equal to a B-rank Katon ninjutsu in power. The radius of the blast spans two meters in all directions. The clone can also disperse on its own. The copy will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any remaining chakra within the clone after it is dispersed is refunded to the user. Clones automatically disperse if their chakra supply reaches zero, but are not influenced by the 10 chakra minimum for survival. Chakra Cost: 22 (Per clone)
Name: Zukokku - Head Mincing Pain Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: After the user spits out a small fireball that erupts into a giant firestorm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. Chakra Cost: 23
Name: Gouryuuka no Jutsu - Great Dragon Fire Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon-shaped fireball. The user then skillfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to thunder clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could be severely burned. No more than 3 extra fireballs may be created. Chakra Cost: 15 (+5 for each additional fireball)
Name: Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. Chakra Cost: 5 (2 per post)

Name: Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder Rank: C-A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Raiton (Lightning) Description: This technique allows the user to create a wave of electricity from their hands. The user can vary its power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. Chakra Cost: C (5), B (10), A (20)

Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user will go all out against his or her opponent by first launching them into the air. He or she will then kick them and follow up with another powerful kick, which will send them crashing back into the earth below. Chakra Cost: 12
Name: Konoha Kaiganshou - Leaf Demolishing Rock Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After bracing his or her forearm, the user will launch themself towards his or her opponent and deliver a powerful elbow thrust. This can send the target flying back a good several feet. Chakra Cost: 10
Name: Konoha Gouriki Senpuu - Leaf Strong Whirlwind Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A taijutsu using a combination of speed and power. The essence of this technique is concentrated in a spinning back kick with such speed that it is incredibly difficult to follow, even with dojutsu. Capable of smashing the enemy with overwhelming strength. Chakra Cost: 10
Name: Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user first uses the "Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance" to manuever his/her opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his/her opponent, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he/she is unable to make a clean strike, he/she will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his/her target's attention and defense to one area. The user can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate his/her body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Konoha Raiken - Leaf Thunder Fist Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user will spin to gain momentum and then lay a powerful strike into his or her opponent via punch. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Konoha Dai Senpuu - Leaf Great Whirlwind Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A series of kicking attacks, starting from a low kick and linking into a middle kick and high kick then finishing off with a heel drop. As the rotation speed picks up the user gains buoyancy, which they use to shift into gradually higher attacks. Chakra Cost: 5

Name: Konoha Senpuu - Leaf Whirlwind Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark. Chakra Cost: 4

Name: Meisai Gakure no Jutsu - Camouflage Concealment Technique Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's and shadow, and is usable on any terrain. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja with the ability to sense chakra and/or those who have incredibly good sense of hearing and smell. Chakra Cost: 22 (5 per post)
Name: Bunshin Bakuha - Shadow Clone Explosion Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user creates what looks like an ordinary shadow clone which, unlike normal shadow clones, does not store chakra, and therefore cannot perform jutsu. Because it takes on the appearance of a regular clone, the enemy will be lead to believe it is one, and may proceed to attack it. At the user's will, they may detonate this shadow clone to produce a B-rank explosion capable of causing serious damage. Should someone be able to see through the body of the shadow clone, they may figure out it is nothing but a walking timebomb. Chakra Cost: 20
Name: Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu - Chakra Absorption Technique Rank: C-S Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After activitating the technique, the user's hand will glow with chakra. When he or she touches his or her palm on his or her opponents body, the user can withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing their chakra, it greatly increases the user’s advantage over his or her opponent. Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)

| Hello, Rookie. I'll have to ask that you switch the affiliation of the Spy to a village that doesn't hold significant importance on the forum at this time. Sending a spy from the Leaf Village would be something that the Hokage has to authorise and given the very fragile relations that Kumogakure and Konoha are currently going through, I'd find it rather idiotic to send a spy, especially one that was spotted so easily. I'd like for you to also give a proper rank to this Spy rather than it being 'of higher rank' and can I ask if anyone will be NPC'ing out this spy for you? If so, it might be best if you create a NPC using the appropriate template. Thanks!

| Ehhhh I'm not too fond of the Mission, namely since
a) You're not the only Sensor b) The Mission suggests Kumogakure is horribly easy to infiltrate c) The Mission suggests we keep secret information on easy-to-access scrolls d) You'll probably read the scroll -.- e) The NPC is much stronger than your character f) My Raikage is the kind of guy who would personally chase down the spy g) It makes no sense for a spy to steal a scroll at this very moment, since we had just had a new Raikage installed, so anything that was considered secret would now be obsolete, unless the first thing my character did in office, was write out a few top secret plans in scrolls and then leave them unprotected or in a place where some random new-person, who was presumably disguised, had slipped past my character's sensory and general suspicion of everything around him, and gotten his hands on a top secret scroll, to which the village was alerted seconds after and then risked sending a message to you, with the hope that you would be there to receive it and then quickly chase the spy down, despite him having the A Rank Speed SC. Since you're slower and he is presumably outside of the village at this point, it makes no sense for you to be the one to go after him, since you wouldn't be able to catch up to him. Moreover if it's valuable information, either the KYOBU or multiple shinobi would be sent after it, rather than the village putting all its chips on a single Special Jounin, who doesn't even have a C Rank Speed SC. |

| Anyways, I propose a spy tried to infiltrate the village but he was found out and yet escaped before he could be captured. You and some other characters are send to track and find him; he's expected to be hiding in one of the nearby villages, with the intention of trying again.
Ask around to see if anyone is interested in doing it with you (I suggest Ashin). Also, knock the NPC down to B Rank D: |
