Naruto Chapter 496 [SPOILERS]

Well, it was definitely better than the last few chapters. I liked it pretty much, actually, especially the little prank Killer Bee and Naruto played. Now that was good comedy.

Concerning the Kyuubi, seems like he's just going to be a pupil-less Naruto if he manifests, bit of a let-down if you ask me. I wanted to see Naruto take on a 100ft tall fox in Sennin Mode. At least we can hope that if the Kyuubi does manifest in Naruto's form, he'll unleash his tails while Naruto goes Sennin Mode. Now that would be an epic fight. Naruto Chapter 496 [SPOILERS] 287405

Also, how come Minato didn't show up when Naruto was about to remove the seal? Wasn't it set so that whenever the seal was about to be removed, Minato would appear and beat the crap out of whoever was trying to do so?

I had to go and read Chapter 495 first because I missed out on that. So I'll give my personal analysis on both. Smile

Chapter 495:

I liked the way Naruto and Bee-san are friends now. Also, the rapping is pretty fun to read, even if it is a little corny. The way Naruto beat Dark Naruto was pretty cliche, but then again what isn't these days? It worked well enough, so I'm not complaining. The way they merged, but Dark Naruto 'dissolved' was a pretty fair ending in my opinion. I didn't like how Naruto started blabbing on with all his emotional crap, but sometimes it's kinda needed. The anticipation of Naruto fighting the Kyubi in Chapter 496 is preventing me from making this analysis any longer, so brb! ;D

Chapter 496:

I like how this wasn't just a wasted chapter of anticipation explaining everything that would happen in the next chapter. It was good to see the bond between Bee-san and Naruto grow, how he entered Naruto's soul to 'lend him a hand' - basically check if he was alright because he cares for him now. I liked the trick they played on Yamato together, and how he cares for Naruto's well-being now. Smile

Btw Ulkira, Minato would only appear once, so he already used up that appearance, I think.

Anyone else think of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragon Ball Z when they see that blank, feature-less room that Killer Bee and Naruto are sitting in? Both of those places are seemingly endless and are built to let people train and become stronger. Kishimoto was a fan of the Dragon Ball series...

Also, I can't help but laugh at how during all this, Kisame is comfortably hidden inside Samehada listening to all that's going on outside. The guy must be outstandingly patient to do that. Won't Madara and Sasuke get a shock when they hear that Naruto's training to control the Kyuubi...

Yeah maybe they will come out at fifteen years will have passed. Razz

and everytime I see them advance a little further, I just do find it funny how Kisame gets getting dragged further into it, his the greatest spy the shinobi world has ever seen, his intel will be amazing.
