| Once Upon A Star..
Crystal Clear.
That was what could only describe the night sky. Like a blessing from the heavens it would seem. The first recorded time in Kirigakure no Sato - The Village Hidden in the Mist's history that there had not been a day, or night in which not a wisp of fog or a collection of clouds could be seen. The mist, in which the Village was so lovely named after did not exist. Everything...was silent. Quiet. Eerie almost. Well, not really. The silence given off from the lack of mist was quite easily replaced by the masses of shinobi and citizens alike whom had discovered a comfortable spot to sit and relax the phenomenon. Yes, a phenomenon - something in which occurred rarely, much like the absence of mist. The phenomenon which is globally recognized as so, is that of a Meteor Shower. A Meteor Shower, the absence of mist and a crystal clear sky; the night was utterly perfect and everyone knew so. The hundreds, possibly thousands of people situated atop of the Overlooking Hill all grew eager as the sun finally dipped its head behind the distant mountains. The meteor shower was set to start fairly soon, everyone knew it; what could possibly go wrong?
All it would take would be another 10minutes and something...would definitely go wrong.

| Atop one of the higher trees circling the hill sits Saya, resting quite casualy among the higher branches of the ancient pine. From her vantage point she had an unobstructed view of both the sky above, and the gathering mass of citizens on the hilltop below. The upcoming meteor shower had attracted quite the crowd, and was lined up to be one hell of a show.
For the first time since she was moved to Kiri she has a clear view of the night time sky, the countless stars shimmering perfectly. She smiles as she remembers the endless skies of her childhood on the expansive plains, and the nightly displays of dazzling stars that always came after sunset. Here she sky had always been gloomy, even the moon had trouble shining through the haze. Tonight, though, everything was just perfect.
With a little sigh of content she leans back against the sturdy trunk of the tree, sitting on a branch as she looks skywards. On such a relaxing night, saya had left her armor and weapons at home. She was dressed quite casually in little more than her loose and flowing robes, though her katana was still at her side. Even on her nights off, she never left home without her sword. Silently she sets her mind to wandering, wondering which other ninjas of her village will make an appearance tonight. |

| OOC: Why am I fresh meat?! I'm a genin!
With a few leaps Nanaya jumped from branch to branch as high as he could to reach the top of one of the tallest tree's in their villiage on the hill, as he reached the top he squatted down and looked up towards the sky with his grey eye's, veiwing the meteor shower. He let out a small sigh seeiing as he had just finished training and didn't intend to see the show, but his other selves pressured him into coming, looking down towards the ground catching glimpses of other people that were looking up at the skies, some amazed at what they saw and others that didn't look so surprised, watching the skies and dressed casully or in comfortable clothing except for him, he sometimes wondered why people get so happy at seeing things like this.
His face showed no emotion what so ever as he coutined to look at the sky, he found himself quite bored at the moment, but also quite excited for some unkwoun reason which was new to him, even though this was his first time he's seen a meteor shower something just didn't seem right about this picture, he felt as if some sort of change was happening but what ever it was he would welcome it wheater it's bad or good.
He tried to display a smile, but he couldn't bring himself to do it, he could hear his other selves talked amognts themselves in his mind admiring the plesent show and tried to strick up a coversation with him, but he remained silent. he senced lots of pressences gathering around the area and continued to grow.
After a while he felt quite relaxed staring up at the sky for a while, finally deciding to listen to his other selves and slightly enjoying the moment |

| Kuro had been sleepless. He could shake even the slightest hint that something was going to happen. He could feel his gut, and soul warning him that the world he entered would change completely, and the years of a peaceful life he enjoyed so much was leaving him. A burden so heavy to him, and he didn't like any moment of it. so far to say the least about it. Hmm, why such a large gathering on the Overlooking Hill, he thought.
Sighing, he continued forward in the folliage, wondering what genin takes a stroll in the trees. He wondered why, why so many things were so different, on such an eventful night. He wondered, and wondering let him into the sky..... |

| Demo woke up this morning with a sense of excitement. Today, a meteor shower would take place that would ignite the sky in such a frenzy that no ninja could take the spot light tonight. From Kiri to Konoha, the shower of rocks would rain down from the heavens, to create a spectacular view. As Demo got his Chuunin clothing on, he put on his three charmed ban. The red charm represented Ameteratsu, the white represented Tsukiyomi, and the dark blue represented Susano'o. After putting that on, he headed out the door.
After about four hours, Demo stopped at a little Udon shop to eat dinner. He couldn't help but notice the faint green tint in the sky. "How odd......" he thought to himself as he continued eating his meal. After finishing he gave the man a tip and made his way for the hill that overlooked many geographic features, but also famous for its view of the sky. Demo rubbed his stomach as he picked his teeth with a toothpick. This day could not be ruined; or could it?
Demo passed by many villagers, as the sky gained a more greenish-tint as the sun begun to sink under the horizon. "All of this...seems but to familiar..like a story that was told to us in my childhood years.." he said to himself as he continued to walk towards the hill. However, all of the sudden, Demo felt a bit scared. It felt as if his heart had stopped. Birds began to flap their wings..and soared into the sky with fear. Demo was silent for a moment, as was the area surrounding him. "Hmm...must be...the weather and all the commotion happening around here!" he said, reassuring himself as he opened the gate that lead towards the overlooking hill.
The sky was fantastic. Never had the sky been so clear in all of Kiri's history. It was a wonderful thought in Demo's head that the village could spring to life like this. Not often did the village come together and celebrate something so big. After getting through the security at the base of the hill, he began to walk up it to join his many other comrades the his fellow Kiri citizens. By the look on the faces that he could see, everyone seemed very excited. "What could ruin such a perfect night?!" he shouted as he ran up the hill to join other shinobi that joined in on the fun. Demo smiled and did some of the silliest things as he was atop that hill. He did nothing but enjoy himself, something he could hardly do as a ninja.
After a while, Demo settled down and sat on a ledge on part of the large hill. He smiled and his white eyes seemed to glisten as he watched the sun sink below the sunset, as the sky turned to a darkish blue, with a eerie tint of green starting to appear. "Hahaha! Must be the sun's light reflecting off the incoming shower!" he said excitedly. The only thing that came to his mind was, "what could go wrong?"

| It's a bird... It's a plane... It's... not a damn thing.
Sho Meikiri was drawn to the gradually building coward approaching the famous large hills of the village. He saw many residents of the village among the area, from low class bums to highly beloved shinobis. Many folks settled on to a seduced expression looking high above at the unusual clear skies of the Mist Village. Some were amazed and shocked, others probably desired a good explanation behind this rare occurrence, but on Sho's viewpoint he could've cared less. It was only just large chucks of rocks raining from the heavens and a very clear sky. Like they would say, what's the big whoopla about?
Among the midst of the jam packed crowed, he carried his eyes around the area, looking and studying the body language from most of the people on top of the hill. It was almost like he some outcast, perhaps being the only individual who's attention wasn't grasped by the phenomena within the clear night skies. Giving a shrug from the shoulders, he directed his mindset of being a follower and giving in to the weird vibe. So he came over his little 'I don't give a whoot' attitude of his and hopped abroad the trans looming around the area. Hands drowned inside the warmth of his side pockets, he stared into the wild blue yonder. He acted as if he admired the distant scenery with an awh from the mouth.
"It'd be pretty funny if one those meteors struck us all. . . ." He smirked, amusing himself at such a strange joke to laugh at

| Kiero was quietly sleeping upon his bed that night, he was really exhausted after a day of being a shinobi. So when he came home, his body quickly went to the bedroom and had a nap. But now he was awakened by voices of people outside his apartment, he listened. He heightened his hearing ability, twitches... twitches.... people where gossiping outside about something called " The Meteor Shower ". Kiero wondered, " What's that Meteor Shower people are talking about?..." his curiousity aroused. He continued to listen, " Where is it happening?... where where?.." one voice asked. Another voice replied, " To the overlooking hill you idiot, that's the place where its easier to see it! ". Kiero smiled, " Overlooking Hill it is?..." he spoke. He quickly changed his sleeping clothing to his formal shinobi armor. The last thing he did was place his forehead protector on his neck. After that he quickly left his house.
When he arrived in the overlooking hill, he was surprised to see alot of Kirigakure Shinobi's were there. With different ranks, from Chuunin to Genin, and lots of them. Although he doesnt really know all of them. When he looked up in the sky, he was surprised to find it really clear. The mist that is named after the village was gone, no sign of it anymore. The sky looked beautiful itself without the mist, as far as Kiero himself can remember this is the first time the sky was that clear in Kirigakure, a really spectacular view. Everyone was amazed as he observed their different reactions and emotions. " Hmmm,... This doesnt happen a lot, might aswell stay here and wait for that " Meteor Shower " that everyone talks about." He sat in the open grass, although he continued observing other shinobi's around him. And he knew they are also fascinated about this strange occurences in Kirigakure. |

| Black tattered boots with laces of silk, an odd combination. Edges finely crafted but surface never shined, custom but old. The ground moved beneath the shifting shoes, yet there was scarcely a sound to be heard. Light, gentle breathing, a practiced self control. Moving on the outskirts of the gathered crowd, a dark figure. His dark blue kimono shifted, a light patting as the cloth connected, and the air was snapped out of it. Preffering the outskirts on every event, Khael took his seat in a moderately tall tree, 15 meters away from the nearest person. A large bandaged hand grasped a branch as a body was flung up to the top. A graceful landing in near perfect positioning, comfortable, satisfactory. The bandaged hand rested on the hilt of a sword, another with the same bandages now hung freely above the soft Kirigakure ground. Sitting on a large branch which allowed his right leg drawn up in an arc, and his left to lay comfortably flat, he mumbled to himself. Anyone who looked upon him would see scarcely more than average, a common skin complexion and a gentle face. The only thing that would give him away, would be that no one ever really saw him. A stranger in his own village, if you will. '.. Talk of meteor showers.. A natural beauty, the universe showing us its' true might. Many people under-appreciate times like these. There is nothing more powerful than the very essence of nature itself. The ocean, the wind, even fire.. These things are taken lightly.. Fools.. only fools..' mumbling to himself, his strong and gentle voice only sounded about 15 feet before it faded in to whispers. His brown eyes glistened with the changing light, shifting around with his gaze. His light gray hair moved in front of his face occasionaly, as the wind provided. It never really stayed in one spot, freedom was its' moto, if hair could have a moto. Though it did get in the way of his vision quite often, it helped him adapt for situations where he could barely see anyways.
The sun's light faded and the beautiful stars erupted. This was something scarcely seen in Kirigakure. He often traveled outside of his beautiful home just to see the stars. The sky enticed him, it flooded his body with courage. He knew there was still something to fight for in this world- the world itself. It was forbidden in some places to seek ones' own desires. Unfortunate, his only desires being to seek that which is beautiful, perfect. These things were sacred to him, embodiments in his mind of purity. Resting on his chosen branch, he gazed out in to the lighted sky. Streaks across the heavens, the meteors were fronted with a halo of beauty, as if they were seraphim gifts. The crowd before him stood in awe. '.. Where is my brother.. I'm not sure he would enjoy this, but then.. if I approve of something, he generally accepts it for what it is.. The only person I can trust.. The only person I will ever trust..' his mumbles continued, as if he couldn't control them. His thoughts- always flowing in his mind. They were like a waterfall, sometimes they echoed. His brother had been with him, for him, since square 1. The man never gave up on his brother, and the favor was returned. No matter how much blood Khael had on his hands when he came home, his brother always threw him a towel. Humor, expression, emotion. These things could only be expressed in private, and to only he whom shared the same soul.
'I wonder if Titans once populated this planet.. There are so many anchient buildings, so many sacred creations that have no meaning in this time. Many legends were formed from the truth, when the universe was born there could be too many possibilities. The enomolies that now exist, all that is man, all that is chakra. These things, everything, it dwindles in time. If we are as powerful as we are now, yet so far, so wattered down, what were we when the stars erupted and came in to creation.. I am cursed with the tounge of mind, it plauges me, yet I take pleasure from its' poisons.' his thoughts began to slow as his mind focused on the beautiful radiance above him. All sound began to fade away, his eyes capturing every detail, every moment. Rustling of leaves in front of him seemed like a shifting image, a blur of green which too faded shortly.

| Waking up from a loud bang around his Apartment lark awoke with his hand on his weapon and his other hand in the form of his clans Jutsu. When lark got out of bed and he looked out side and saw many people walking towards what it seemed like the Overlooking hill. With that lark saw what looked like a bin that had been knocked over, "stupid people" he said to himself. As he started to get dressed he put on his favorite black shirt and jeans and then he started to tie his weapons on to himself, Swords on both hips, kunai in the pouch, explosive tags in its pouch, shuriken in a pouch and then his tripwire warped around him like a belt for easy access. With that he put on his trench coat and started to put his senbon and other weapons that did not have a place on him into the pockets, then he finally put on his Headband underneath his trench coat on his left arm.
As he finished getting ready he walked over to his window opened it and walked out onto the tree, closed the window then jumped down from the tree, he never uses the door in his apartment as it is trapped with explosive tags and senbon bombs as he does not like visitors. He started to make his way to the Mist village's Observatory where the Scientists were watching the current Occurrence to get to understand what was happening. When he got there people were rushing about yelling orders to others and looking through Telescopes, when lark walked in no one said anything as lark spent most of his time there anyway trying to understand what he could so easily reach if he wanted to. "Oh lark can you get that book on the top shelf of that bookcase over there please?" said the head Scientist, seeing as the bookcase was way to high for the normal man lark walked over and took off his trench coat and started to flap his wings to fly up and get the book for the Scientist. All the people there knew lark had wings and they had given him information if they could Study why he has wings, All they found out is that it must be a Clan trait. With having gotten the book and flying back to the ground he handed over the book and put his trench coat back on and then asked to Scientist "What seems to be going on?" as the scientist answered him he said "At first it seemed to be a meteor shower but now it with the greenish tint, it looks as if it is something different". For lark this news did not sound to good but then again lark always took the negative then the positive.
And with that lark left the Observation building and walked off to the overlooking hill were everyone else was. When he got there people were all looking up and lark just kept on walking as he already knew what was going on. When lark finally got to where he wanted to sit he sat down and crossed his legs and closed his eyes meditating trying to find out if the world itself would give him any information on what is happening. |

| Gazing from a window of an tall building, a pair of gentle blue eyes looked upon the sky above, as an strange event was about to start. As he was watching the sky, the young Marcus Hatake, kept a smile on his serious appealing face. He was not sure what was happening, but it seemed like something fantastic was about to start. But, something was wrong in this picture, there was no mist around, unusual this was, specially at times like this. Even so, that only made this natural phenomenon more interesting in the eyes of this young man. Maybe I should head on outside and join the rest of the village people, it seems as if every single man, child or women has came out of their hoses to see this. Indeed, this might be a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy the events; those were the thought which flowed trough the head of the young Marcus, as he was considering the options which he had at the moment. Ether way, a decision was needed quickly, since an event like this last for much longer.
Hmm...But, before I go outside, I really should clean up this mess; yet another flow of thoughts crossed his mind, as he slowly turned his look towards the inside of his room. Like he thought, while looking from this point, the room in which he was, it was in a quite horrible state. Clothes all over the place, from underwear all up to all sorts of armors and weapons. Scrolls and all other different items were also at places whey they were not supposed to be. Looking at this mess the young man yawned, he was too tired to clean up all of this, but he was obliged to do something about. At moments like this he had an urge to use a Wind Based Jutsu and stack up everything into the huge closet on the far East part of the room. But, knowing how lame that was, he suppressed that urge. Even though it would make things a lot quicker and easier. Then again, it would be a huge chakra waste, so the finally decision on this was quite clear. It was time to clean up stuff by the old fashioned ways, in which chakra was not needed. [Description on how Marcus will clean his room is off little importance, so that part will be skipped.]
After taking a few minutes to clean up the mess, the young Marcus was ready to set off to visit the crowd gathering. But, before that, he decided to pack up with all his flashy ninja gear. Among all of the different weapons in his room, the young man only took a pouch with basic ninja weapons and eight scrolls. After picking the scrolls from his desk, his eyes gazed on the two scrolls which were separated from the rest of them, seeming quite interesting. As he was looking at them for a few moments, a few simple thoughts crossed the mind of the young Marcus: Should I take them as well? No, I should not, there is absolutely no chance for something that bad to happen. Even so...just in case, I will take this two as well. After thing that out, the gentle hands of the young Junin grasped the two scrolls, putting each of them into a separate equipment pouch. With everything set up, Marcus was ready to leave.
A few seconds later, the young Marcus could be seen entering the streets, as he came out of the large building through its northern entrance. The first think which he eyes noticed was the strange looking green lights high up in the air. That seemed quite unusual, so the young man decided to find a place where he could have a better view over everything. With a simple chuckle, the legs of the young Marcus bent a little, following by a quickly push up. Within seconds, the body of the Jounin detached itself from the ground, going forwards and upwards. A perfectly made jump too Marcus high up into the air, above the wandering crowd, reaching the roof tops of the tallest buildings in the village. Using this simple movement, the young Marcus reached a tree branch of an tall tree, quite near to the location where everyone was gathering. He was not up for going closer, fearing that if something went wrong, it would probably happen where the largest population of shinobi and civilians were. Not to mention, from this tree, he had a perfect view over the gathering and that is what he wanted.
"Now what?"- the young man whispered, awaiting to see what followed next. |

| The egg-noodles enveloped in on each other, cascading in a reverse fashion into the engulfing mouth of the kunoichi of the Mist, Ahora Sousakara. The time was around 2.30pm and the shop owner of the small mini-mart in which she purchased the packaged instant cup-a-Ramen was just getting prepared to close up shop to head home and prepare for later this evening. In fact, the whole town was practically closing down for this phenomenon. She was extremely lucky to race from the outskirts of the borders and make it in time to even pick up some lunch. Any later and she would have to starve for the evening as she had no plan whatsoever to return home after the meteor shower. She had already caught wind of several parties happening after the phenomenon. And she was as keen as a been is green for some relief from the stresses of being a ninja. In fact, she was lucky, as ninja duties that weren't of extreme importance were non-existent tomorrow. Thus, a hangover would be inevitable.
Sitting on one of the few benches which littered the docks, Ahora continued to inhale the deliciously artificial meal before her as if it would be her last. Dehydrated pork-chunks stood no chance for the feasting human, as they were unintentionally caught up in the strands of noodles and sent spiraling into the abyss of the human anatomy. As the noodles continued to follow, so too did the excess hot water-mixed-seasoning splash out around her figure. Though there were few droplets and next-to-no noise, passers-by had to make it obvious that they disagreed with the semi-youthful jounin's decision at her lack of manners when it came to eating. This, she recognized with her peripherals as elderly citizens shook their heads in disapproval. Surely they too would have the ability to acknowledge and simply dismiss, but no; they had to show their distaste. She had half a mind to send the steaming-cup of ramen noodles sprawling towards the old lady who just so happened to choose to shake her head at the time. But, that wouldn't happen - As she was a ninja, and ninjas had to live up to set standards... Not. The only reason preventing herself from scolding this old woman was the fact she was famished and was in desperation for food. Any wastage, and it would not be worth the 8ryo she payed.
In fact, Ahora was currently finishing up her delightful late-lunch and was satisfied with her result. God she loved being a ninja, being a ninja would suck she established to herself as she was able to cook, well heat her ramen noodles right on the bench - without the aide of a kettle. Having the fire element was helpful for a large range of everyday tasks. From boiling water in an instant-cup of Ramen to making a fire for warmth when caught out in the wilderness - fire was life. Also, for an increased helpfulness in her current situation, when she was finished with her noodles all that was required of her was to incinerate the rubbish; again with the fire element. As this was happening, the time on the bell-tower above her chimed a harmony which signified 3pm. Hmph. It was time she got a move on. She finished the last pork-chunk and the last of the strands of noodles. She consumed the flavored water and then proceeded to incinerate the remnants with little chakra that was required.
She didn't know what essentially drove her to head towards the over-looking hill, but she was fairly content in getting there as relaxingly as possible. This essentially took her close to one hour to reach her destination, after all, she had hours to kill. But she had no intention of killing, she was sick of it; to be frank. She had been out on missions for the past 3weeks without fail, and now it was beginning to fatigue greatly. And just how she didn't want to head home, she was pretty keen on some decent sleep. She was also content on getting a good spot for the phenomenon, so that too drove her to head there. Upon arrival, she was amused to find that the shop keeper in which she had purchased her instant cup-a-ramen was in the process of setting up a stall, selling all kinds of sweets, treats and confectionery items. So, it would seem she would have had an option to eat.. Oh well, she was content with her stomach.
The overlooking hill was quite vast, with park benches, trees and monuments littering it. Lower down the hill was a miniature Botanical Garden, and this was the area in which she was currently travelling in. There was native flora and fauna by the truckloads around the area. This botanical garden was kept under strict supervision by the groundskeepers and gardeners, and as a result was amazingly maintained. Butterfly's, bird's and small ground-dwellers were frequent, which served to keep the mood solemn, peaceful and tranquil. And, as a result - sleepy. She continued towards the top of the overlooking hill, preparing herself for the journey of sleep when she reached a park bench. She couldn't give a damn if there was an elderly couple who urgently needed to sit on an elevated area, what was important at that time was a power nap - before the phenomenon. She quickly arrived at the said park bench and embarked on the said journey of slumber.
3hour and 45 minutes later. She awoke to a large uproar of people come hooning through the center of the hill, narrowly missing the park-bench and almost knocking her off. However, she was thankful. For when she had asked for the time, she was greeted with an all-too-pleasing 7.45pm. Yes, that's right - 15 minutes before show time. She lazily sat up, stretched out her cramped muscles and set to finding a stall which sold some booze. An extremely good catch up sleep, some food in her stomach and soon-to-be booze; this phenomenon would be one to remember. Now all she had to do...was wait. |
