Now that his wounds had been tended to and his missions in the land of hot water were completed, it was finally time for Yoroi to head back to the land of fire. In a short time, he had managed to help further the medical studies of the land of hot water, while protecting it's facilities from a missing Shinobi. It truly felt liberating to have all of those things behind him, knowing that he no longer had to worry about leaving a dangerous man in a defenseless village with a Daimyou that hardly cared. Glad that it was all over with, he felt particularly good this time, the opposite of when he left Konoha to come to the place. Unlike the first time, he did not just travel with Shakreido and Kaien, he traveled with a young woman he had met in Yugakure too. Having his peregrine falcon flying high up in the sky to scout for any trouble, the snake slithered roughly five meters in front of them, both because he was watching for trouble and because he did not truly trust
"Just stick close to me, if there are bandits or raiders around, either Kaien or Shakreido will inform me of it, and I won't let anything bad happen to you, that's a promise" Yoroi said, simply because he would not allow anyone to hurt her. On the way to the village, as well as in the village itself, he would not let anyone harm the girl. Yoroi knew the villagers well, and they knew and respected him too. The majority of them knew that he was a kind soul, but could be incredibly brutal when people said bad things about his friends and family, even more so when they tried to hurt them. "You probably don't know this, but by blood, I am a member of the Kaguya clan. If they do want to go through me to get to you, they'd better bring a bulldozer", he said jokingly, patting her on the back as he smiled at Ophelia. She was such a nice person, so he could not imagine having people around that would want to hurt her.
Still, this was a world of Shinobi, everyone could be wearing a fake face and disguise, meaning anyone could really just come out and try to kill them both. Yoroi knew this very well, which was exactly why he wanted her to stay close to him. With Shakreido and Kaien watching his back, there was not one Shinobi in the world that could just sneak up on him. Despite the little amount of time they had spent together, she had looked after him while he was in Yugakure, which in turn caused him to bond with her, even though that might just be a one way thing. That did not keep him from wanting to keep her safe though, actually amplifying it so that maybe, she could get attached to him too. With that thought in mind, he started walking towards his home, towards Konohagakure.

| Having packed all her belongings into her backpack, she exited the suite and handed over the keys at the reception. The man standing there wished her a safe trip blushing furiously once again. The female looked at him confused; she didn’t understand why he was self-conscious even though the answer was pretty obvious. She exited the Hotel where Yoroi was waiting for her to take off for the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konohagakure no Sato. It was true that she was a Kirigakure Shinobi, however, these news Yoroi had delivered her about a war coming and that Kiri could be the one starting it made her rethink her value systems. Of course she wouldn’t change villages; she just wanted to see how others lived, how they thought and what their opinion was on the war. Ophelia certainly knew that Konoha would be pretty much a Kirigakure-hater, as it was only natural, and that was why Ophelia was trying hard to suppress the Sanbi’s chakra and not to make any movements characteristically of a Ninja’s, so no one would notice that she actually was a Shinobi. That’s why she had ordered a buckboard with two horses to bring them to Konoha. It was a rather large coach, with red leather seats inside and black wood on the outside. One would wonder where she had all this money from to pay for this service, but it was actually a gift from the Hotel; from the receptionist, more specifically. Being a woman surely had its advantages. Seeing as the coach was driving in front of the Hotel entrance, Ophelia jumped in.
The black coach halted in front of Yoroi and a door on his side opened, a tanned hand being visible. Seconds later a red head debouched out of the dark, smiling at Yoroi. “Come on in!” she said falling behind to make room for Yoroi to get in. They closed the door and the coachman lashed the two horses which then rushed forward. It would take them a day only to get to Konoha. Ophelia put one leg over the other and looked out of the window; how beautiful all this green scenery was. What a shame it would be if all this would burn down for a war the citizens could do nothing about. She sighed but quickly remembered that she wasn’t alone and looked over at Yoroi. “So you let your summons walk by the coach to protect us from bandits?” she asked as she saw snakes following them. “How beautiful they are.” She said, commenting on their beauty. Ophelia liked snakes, in contrast to other girls most likely. She always found that they were creatures most kind and cute, even. A snake wouldn’t attack you out of the blue; it needed a reason to do so, so if a snake attacked you, you probably had done something wrong. They were generally peaceful creatures that meant no harmy to anyone, but could become your worst nightmare should you push all the wrong buttons. It amazed Ophelia, this sudden change in mood and behaviour that reminded her somewhat of herself at times. I don’t have a summon. she thought. She wanted to have a summon, but she couldn’t find a contractor for that. And she also was a little bit scared of trying to sign a contract, for she had heard that it was a very difficult task to complete. But Ophelia was always up for challenges.
Ophelia chuckled at the bulldozer joke as she imagined it mentally. So he was a Kaguya, a member of one of the strongest clans in the world. Ophelia didn’t really feel intimidated, though, more excited. The body of a Kaguya provided great medical controversy among the medical ninja of the world, for each had his own explanation. The Uzumaki would love to study the bone reforming, the closing wounds without blood running out, and the instant replacement of the bones being retracted. She had read quite a bit about the Kaguya clan and its abilities as well as the member’s appearance. His hair made sense now. “I see...how awesome is that!?” she exclaimed, her eyes widening in excitement as she looked at him with admiration. It wasn’t everyday that you met a Kaguya. “But,” she continued with a little bit of confusion lying in her voice, “where are your red dots?” she asked, referring to the clan marking the members used to have. |

Truth be told, Yoroi had not seen the entire coach thing coming at all, figuring he was going to have to walk all the way back. Truth be told, it was not all that bad to those who had trained for such things, though for others, it could be incredibly tiring. He was the kind of person that did not like traveling in something so easily spotted as a coach, though that did not really matter, figuring Ophelia would rather move around in such a thing. Shakreido shook his head upon witnessing the thing and the horses pulling it, figuring it was the kind of thing only lazy people would use as it slithered along. It refused to wait for Yoroi and Ophelia if they were wasting their time with such a thing. "Yeah, Shakreido is a rather stubborn one. He wouldn't like to ride in this thing at all, he'd rather watch our surroundings. Once he gets used to you, I am sure that he won't be so distant, nor will he try to eat you" Yoroi explained, figuring it was worth it when it was with Ophelia. She seemed to like snakes, even though most people were disgusted by them.
Even though he was partially joking about the eating part, he knew Shakreido for several years now, knowing that he would try to eat a human being if he got the chance. Luckily, it had no poisonous fangs, so most people that had some Ninjutsu skills would avoid such a thing. Those without it were in trouble when Yoroi was not around, knowing to wait until Yoroi is gone before trying such things. As it slithered out of sight, Yoroi let out a deep sigh, figuring it was time for him to get on board. Taking a deep breath, Yoroi got inside of the black shack on wheels, hoping that this would be the last time he had to get into such a thing. Contrary to what he believed, the inside of the thing was rather comfortable, which was a good thing. As it started rolling, a cold shiver shot down Yoroi's spine, almost instantly feeling his stomach turn as they moved along. Every bump in the road felt as if it was trying to make Yoroi vomit. Clamping his jaws together, he made sure that he would do no such thing in front of Ophelia. Sitting in his seat, he had his back pushed against the seat, his hands clutched around the seats as if he were to fall out.
For a little while, he remained seated as the anxiety built up inside him, certain that he was going to throw up if he remained in his seat. Opening the door, he sat in the opening of it, allowing the young man to look outside. Apparently, he did not do all too well when inside of a closed space that moved, making him sick to his stomach. "I think i'll just hang around here, i'm not one for sitting around in closed spaces. I'll be right here if you want to talk. Oh, and to answer your question, the dots are only given to those who are trained in their ways, though I am not a barbarian or murderer, so I don't want those things" Yoroi said, talking into the open open window by his side. Strangely, he did not feel any strange anxiety when on the outside of the coach. This way, if something was to happen to them, he would be able to get right out of the coach and defend Ophelia. And with that, the coach started rolling towards Konohagakure, taking Yoroi home and bringing his new friend along with him.

| Sitting in the coach, Ophelia took notice of her surroundings; she didn’t mind giant snakes crawling some meters away from her, quite the opposite. She felt intrigued, to say the least. And she felt safe, for these were some giant snakes and they looked pretty powerful too. After all she was with Yoroi. She knew that nothing would happen to her. Of course she still had her doubts about going to Konoha for she feared that someone might notice her. But then again, no one could really even know about her existence for she was of such low a rank that nobody would even notice her, which was a good thing because the last thing Ophelia needed now was attention from Konoha Shinobi. Her feelings about her visit were sort of mixed. She wanted to go to Konoha for the purpose of exploring the village, gather new experiences, meet new people, eat local specialties and of course, see the mountain with the Hokage heads carved in. She hadn’t read or heard that much about it; she only knew that in the heart of Konoha existed a mountain with the heads of all the Hokages that ever existed. She figured that there wouldn’t have been that many Kage, or that the mountain was really, really big so a lot of heads could fit. Her train of thought was rather weird.
Ophelia chuckled uneasily as Yoroi said something about Shakreido trying to eat her. She nervously looked over at the majestic snake, full of fear but still admiration. “Maybe I’ll eat him first.” She jokingly said, referring to her capacity to devour pretty much anything that could be eaten. She looked back at Yoroi. “In Konoha, can we go see that mountain with the Hokage heads?” she asked, her eyes full of excitement. It was obvious for even a child to see that Ophelia wanted to go sightseeing around the village and take lots, lots of pictures and souvenirs. She noticed his fixed posture. “You don’t like carriages much, huh?” she said more than a statement than a question posed at Yoroi. It was evident that he was getting sick somewhat, taking a green colour in his face. Was he going to puke? He quickly shut his mouth tightly probably to prevent the vomit from escaping. Ophelia’s expression changed to a worried one. She felt just a little bit bad that she had made him take a carriage; but she couldn’t run beside him mainly for the reason that she didn’t want him to know that she was too, in fact, a Shinobi. She didn’t know how he would react if she told him, though she was rather convinced that he wouldn’t try to harm her or kidnap her or even kill her. But still, she couldn’t know for sure what would happen. At any rate, she tried to keep a low profile around him and anyone else really so no one would know about her or her secret. Ophelia reached into her bag and pulled out a bottle of water and tapping gently on Yoroi’s shoulder, she handed him the bottle. “Drink some water, it helps when you’re feeling sick.” she said and smiled.
Ophelia leaned back into her seat and looked at Yoroi’s back. What kind of person would he become if he knew that she had a monster inside her? Would he run away all frightened yelling ‘freak’ into all corners of the world? Abandon her on the spot and never come back? Ophelia didn’t know if she would mind him never coming back; she hadn’t bonded emotionally with him yet for she avoided such bonds. Even though she liked people, at least she thought she did, she didn’t really feel anything for them. Of course she felt sad when someone was feeling bad having a not so nice day, and she would try to help them however she could. She wouldn’t feel indifferent about the pain of another person, she would just feel distant. Like it doesn’t affect her, which it didn’t of course, but many people tend to identify themselves with other people in pain. Ophelia had learned to stop doing this because it was too difficult to deal with. Getting attached to someone horrified her for she felt vulnerable whenever she did. But life is so ever-changing, no one knows what might happen the next day; or if there will even be another day. |

He could tell by the way she chuckled about his remark that she did not feel entirely at ease with what he had told her about Shakreido. This did not make what he had said less true, knowing full well that the large snake could be incredibly unfriendly to those it did not know. When Shakreido and Yoroi first met, they had almost killed one another, proving that the snake was not to be taken lightly by anyone. That, paired with it's large size made him the kind of creature that people should be careful around. This obviously did not mean anything for Yoroi, being Shakreido's master and friend. The amount of crap they had been through together was enough to turn enemies into friends, they stood as a testament to that fact. They had also once begun as enemies, though they were about as close as brothers right now. When the girl started talking about the stone heads of Konoha, he thought about her request before answering. It was not like the stone heads were a restricted area or something, meaning she could go up there whenever she wanted, though she probably did not know this.
"You sure can, everyone can take a look at the mountain if they wish to do so. It has never been one of my favorite places though, I don't think that people should have such monuments, even if they were heroes. Others give their lives away too, though some of them are entirely forgotten and erased from history, yet the leaders of the village get their face on a mountain." he explained, showing his dislike for the way in which some of the world's civilizations did things. It was obviously something the village was known for in terms of visual aspects, figuring that it would only be normal if he went with her to show them to her from up close. For all the things she had done for him, he owed her at least that much, getting over his dislike for the colossal structure for Ophelia's sake. Even now that they were on their way through the land of fire did she take care of him, noticing that he was not feeling well. Offering him some water, he did not think twice before accepting it. The more accepting he became of her, the more he wanted to know about the young woman, finding her quite captivating.
"Thank you for looking after me Ophelia. I've never been on one before. The rocking and shaking of this carriage thing makes my stomach turn, so i'd rather sit near the exit, just in case" he said, not really being that inspired in throwing up inside of the carriage. Taking a sip from the bottle of water, he hoped that he was not being overly accepting to the things she gave him, things like the water she gave him. It was not always easy for him to accept things from other people, though that seemed to a fleeting thing, no longer applying to people like Kimiko and now even Ophelia. "You know, I think you're a really nice person, though there are some things I would really like to know about you. So how about this, you ask me questions that I answer truthfully, while I ask you things you answer truthfully, okay?" Yoroi asked, wondering if she wanted to tell him more about herself when in a closed space, keeping everything between the two of them. He would really like it if she trusted him enough to be completely honest with him, as he was with her.

| Hearing Yoroi speak about the Hokage monument in a rather dismissive, or even disgusted, way made Ophelia think about him and his relation to the village. Did he not love his village as much as she loved Kirigakure? It was true that Ophelia had never met any council member, let alone the Kage himself, but she was loyal to her village and loved it with every fiber of her being. The way he spoke about the monument made her think that he disliked the Kage, or this honour that they were granted with, having their heads carved into stone above everyone else. The rock was designed that way to probably show that the Kage were always watching over the village, looking at them with their careful eyes, taking in every movement or threat that could harm the village. Of course seen form another point of view, this could also mean that the Kage control everyone else; which was of course the case, seeing as the Kage had full control over their village and could do whatever they wanted to with it and its people. Thoughts like these saddened and simultaneously scared Ophelia, for a human being with so much power was susceptible to corruption, sooner or later. There was no way a soul could remain pure amidst such power and control. After all, absolute power did not corrupt people absolutely; absolute power attracts the corruptible. Does this mean that whoever takes on a high ranking position can be corrupted? Yes. But it is not always necessarily the case. Many have come close to power but never touched it for personal gain, whereas others have used it only for themselves.
Thoughts like these worried Ophelia; what if her own Kage was a power hungry individual that had nothing else in mind than his own prosperity? Shouldn’t she rush back and confirm her worries? But who, really, would say anything against the Mizukage? Who would dare to do so? No one. People would defend him not because he was pure and wise and good, no. They would defend him because they were in need of a leader. Of a person that could bring them victory and triumph over other countries. The People have always needed and will always need a leader. Society and human nature itself is structured that way. Even nature itself works that way. In animals there’s always the alpha male that says what happens and the others listen. The same thing happens in a human community. Because, really, humans aren’t all that different from animals. The only thing that discerns them is speech which is derived from logic. At some point the human brain created speech and civilization went from there. People were just lucky. It could have been the rats. Then the rats would govern us, and not the other way around. How completely the world was based off luck and chance was beyond Ophelia’s comprehension. Her scientific mind was telling her there was always a logical explanation; the world around her often proved her wrong. It was something she struggled with to understand because it was something that scared her. She couldn’t believe that it was all just luck. Well, not all of it but an important percentage was.
“You know, these monuments that you speak so ill of...I don’t think their actual purpose is to praise the great leaders of your village. I think their purpose is a much deeper one.” She started saying as she looked out of the window, looking somewhat lost in her thoughts. She was thinking about all these things in such fast a manner but still her face remained calm and serene; carved in stone, even, unchanging, but with a slight hue of melancholy. “I think they exist to give people hope. In hard times, people usually look up somewhere to find a helping hand and when they look up in Konoha, they’re looking at their Kage. They’re looking at people they trust. It inspires them to carry on believing that everything..” she trailed off, biting her lip, “everything is going to be all right in the end.”
He thanked Ophelia for her looking after him. The Uzumaki was always set off by this; she didn’t understand why she should be thanked, as she perceived helping others as a logical reaction to someone in need. Little did she know that not everyone was like that. Humans were ugly, mostly on the inside. Ophelia couldn’t accept that, for she always believed in the best of everyone she met. She trusted people, of course not blindly, but she wouldn’t hesitate to go out of her way to lend them a hand if they needed help. Strangely enough, whenever someone helped her instead, she was always surprised and couldn’t believe that someone would help her. She was used to giving till she dropped, though dropping never came, but she wasn’t used to receiving anything in return. Exactly the opposite of most people, who wanted, even demanded to receive without giving something in return. But life didn’t work like that; equivalent exchange was a fact and a rule that governed people’s conditions. What you gave, you got back.
Ophelia heard his request about the questions, and was slightly worried about it. Why would he want to know more about her? But wasn’t it obvious? They were travelling together, two perfect strangers. Wasn’t it normal for him to know more about the person he was travelling with and on top of that, inviting into his very own hidden village? Yes, it was. No normal person would do such a thing, so Ophelia owed him that much. “Hm. Well, all right. What do you do, as a Kaguya? I mean, is there some special ability unique to your clan?”

"Hmm.. I am going to agree with you on that, but only because humanity is a weak race. They need to hold on to the fact that there are people that are stronger than they are to look after them. Even Shinobi, soldiers who are supposed to fight for the well being of their country need to know that they have their Kage to fight with them. However, when the war comes, there might not be anything for them to look up to. If they fight at the border of the fire country, they will not be able to see the monument while the Hokage will most likely be in the village. A monument like that is just a monument, those that seek a special meaning in it should focus the energy spent on that in order to strengthen themselves, for a monument can crumble and a human can die" Yoroi claimed, expressing his feelings towards the weakness of the human psyche. He had never been able to hold on to material things, having no weapons or other equipment that made him feel strong. His entire body was a weapon, this being all he needed if the war was to come to their village.
No, when it came, he would not look up the the faces of the past and present Hokage in hopes of them protecting him, he would look inside of himself in an attempt to find the resolve he needed. Not too long after he replied did he hear from Ophelia, who seemed to be okay with his little game of ask and tell. That was not everything though, for Ophelia seemed to have taken the opportunity to ask the first question as well. The first question was a good one, asking him about his bloodline and what it was, if he had one. For Yoroi, discussing his kekkei genkai was not one of his favorite topics, for it brought up the kind of thing he did not want to think about. "Accepting the terms of the game and asking the first question too, that's quite clever of you, Ophelia-Chan. I do have a kekkei genkai that has quite a background, not to mention the stories people tend to tell about it. The clan originally hailed from the water country, though as you can see, I am not much of a Kirigakure Shinobi, seeing as I was born in the fire country. People from the water country spread rumors about my bloodline being the ultimate form of Taijutsu. I disagree there, because I think it deserves more credit. To me, it is the ultimate form of Taijutsu and Weaponry, for it can be whatever I want it to be".
One would think that Yoroi was exaggerating when he explained the kind of power his clan had, though there was nothing of the sort going on. Everyone who had once fought a Kaguya would know just how immensely dangerous they were. Among them, Yoroi was probably the most dangerous of all, even though he was not even close to his peak of power yet, being but a Jounin with plenty of space to grow. Not having a shirt thanks to the way in which his sister had tried to light him like a torch, there was nothing that needed to be removed for Ophelia to actually see his upper body. Letting chakra flow into his skeletal structure, he prepared himself, getting ready to show Ophelia the Shikotsumyaku, one of the most dangerous and misunderstood Kekkei Genkai in the entire Shinobi world. Now that he told her about the reputation his bloodline had, he figured she must be quite interested in seeing what it was that he could do. "My bloodline is known as the Shikotsumyaku, it means Corpse bone pulse. It affects my entire skeletal structure and body, even the medical world is baffled by the differences in a Kaguya and a normal human body. By putting chakra into our bones, we can infuse the calcium in our bones and manipulate osteoclasts and osteoblasts. With that, I can change the shape of my skeletal structure and even harden it to a density far beyond steel. Let me show you".
Extending his right arm, he made a blade of roughly twenty centimeters long bone stick out of his wrist. Allowing Ophelia to see that he was not lying to her about his abilities, he waited a moment before retracting it back into his body. Even then, the unique traits of his body were shown when the place that had been protruded did not bleed, while the skin and flesh just grew towards itself and closed up the point of protrusion, making it look like nothing had ever been there in the first place. "This is just a simple bone dagger, though there a lot more crafty creations I can make with. Sorry for only showing you so much of it though. If you want to see more of it, you will just have to stick around and wait for the opportunity where it shows itself again" he said jokingly, hoping Ophelia would be able to see the funny part of it. His joyfulness disappeared rather quickly after his remark, for the subject of the clan always brought up some of the bad things people had said about him, either behind his back or right in his face.
"Now, if you want to think of me as some sort of freak, well, I wouldn't blame you for it. The entire Shinobi world considers my kind to be a freak of nature that should not walk around freely. You see, the majority of people that have gone down into the history of the clan were barbarians that were driven to insanity, believing that they were the ultimate fighting machines, thinking that there would not be a single opponent that could defeat them. I don't need to explain to you that these men and women killed dozens before they eventually met their end. Because of people like that, the remaining Kaguya either developed a similar mentality, while others get stuck with the prejudice, like me. So if you want to think of me as a freak now, then I won't blame you for it. Hell, even the person that is supposed to be my sisters husband told me that I was a freak" he said, wondering if she thought of him as some kind of abomination too. It was to be expected when even his own sister would rather defend the one he almost assaulted over calling him a freak, rather then helping him, her younger brother. It was at times like those that he wished to return to the days when he was still a feral animal, rather then a human. But there was no time for pondering, he had a question that needed to be answered.
"Now, you have heard about every single detail of my clan, so that leaves my question for you. Earlier, when we were still in Yugakure, I offered you fish and you looked like you were going to throw up. As a resident of the Nagi Islands, one would think that you would be able to cope with the smell of fish, seeing as it is their primary source of income. Paired with what you have shown me about your medicinal knowledge, I have come to suspect that you are more than just a civilian. I can tell by the amount of chakra you have that there is something special about you, something that most likely would not have gone unnoticed. So, as for my question, are you a Kirigakure Shinobi or not?". Having explained his reasons as to why he thought of her as a Shinobi, a weight fell off of his shoulders, for the thought had been on his mind for quite some time now.

| “Oh, but my dear Yoroi, you forget that humans are, indeed, weak. And the ones that are deemed strong, are thought harsh and violent when in reality, they are just realists, living out their true nature.” Ophelia said, taking on a philosophically dreamy expression. It was true that humans were weak creatures that always needed a thing called ‘hope’ to keep them living. Humans needed a ‘reason’ to live; they sought reason in everything they did and happened. Animals just lived, and didn’t care about the reason they lived or why they did things. They just did them. Imagine how much easier life would be if we did things for no reason, but because we enjoyed them or just wanted to do them, without giving explanations to anybody. Of course the actions would have to be accompanied by a certain degree of respect because your freedom ends there where the freedom of another person starts. Which in its essence means that we have to respect each other’s rights in order to be free. We have to restrain, to be free. Two opposite words, meanings, teachings, combined so tightly and even co-independent. If there’s no restrain, there’s no freedom. But what happens when there is no freedom? Restrain survives without freedom, but only for a little whie, for the people rise and claim what is rightfully theirs; their freedom. And freedom, is such a dangerous thing to have in an excessive amount, for anything in excess is dangerous. Freedom has to be given out in proportions, or else everybody would be doing whatever they wanted. Ophelia knew that, and while her beliefs seemed somewhat communistic, she was not at all a communist; in fact, she her beliefs were a mixture of everything combined for the simple reason that no system really satisfied her.
Hearing Yoroi talk about his special abilities that were unique to his clan only, Ophelia was amazed. She had never heard anything like it before and was baffled when she saw him retracting a bone with no pain at all out of his wrist. Her fingers reached to touch it and she caressed it slightly, feeling the hard bone. It felt like a bone, bu like steel at the same time. Just then Yoroi pulled it back and Ophelia didn’t have the time to pull back her hand. As a result, her ring finger was cut and started to bleed. She quickly put it to her mouth and started sucking all the blood. It was something Ophelia used to do whenever she bled somewhere she could reach with her mouth, provided the cut wasn’t covered with dirt or something like that. The metallic smell filled her lungs and mouth, something she enjoyed very much. She liked the taste of blood, though she wasn’t anything like a vampire; just a person with a knack for blood. But she only ever had drunk her own blood. Drinking other people’s blood from their wounds was unhealthy, and creepy. Though sometimes, whenever patients with cuts or bite marks came to the hospital, Ophelia would always offer first to take care of them. Then she told them that it was actually a snake bite and would suck out all the venom, which in reality was just the patient’s blood. Yes, she was rather weird like that. Sometimes.
Yoroi kept telling her that he was some sort of freak and that it was okay if she thought of him as a freak. The truth was, Ophelia was really amazed by his abilities, not freaked out. Ophelia really admired and was somewhat jealous of his abilities, in a good sense. Moulding your skeletal structure like that was something she had never seen before and thus it exited her and intrigued her. When he said something about his sister’s husband, her heart was near breaking. How could a person so close to him think of him like that? And why didn’t his sister say something about it? Didn’t she defend him? This was unacceptable for Ophelia. She abruptly kneeled down beside him, her red hair almost reaching the floor, and laid her arms around his shoulders and head, hugging him tightly. “Shh.” She said, thinking that nothing had to be said for him to understand that she was not considering him a freak. If anything else, she was astonished. For a moment she sat there like that and then she pulled away her arms caressing his white hair, because she feared that he may be weirded out by physical contact from a stranger. Ophelia used to hug pretty much everybody, even if she had just met them, as a mean to show them that she liked them. She stood up again and returned to her seat, as the village gates of Konoha started showing.
As Yoroi continued talking about the game they’d play, he brought the topic to a subject Ophelia had suspected he would bring it to. She was not at all happy with the outcome of the conversation, but she had promised to tell the truth, even if Yoroi wouldn’t really know if she lied to him. Still, she would feel guilty as he had told her so many things and she was keeping pretty much to herself. She bit her lip. “Well,” she started chuckling slightly, ” ‘Kirigakure Shinobi’ is such a...hostile term. I’d prefer the term ‘opportunist’ much more. A medical center was there, and I ‘grabbed the opportunity’ to learn how to help people.” She said, referring to her ability to treat wounds and sicknesses. Ophelia was a sworn Kirigakure Shinobi, though not with all the meaning behind that title; one could see her as ‘taking advantage’ of the medical facilities and knowledge of Kirigakure so she could help other people and maybe save their lives. She would treat every patient regardless of Nation, race or anything really. Since it was breathing, it deserved to be healed. The Uzumaki wasn’t a person to choose her patients dependent on riches or skin colour or, most importantly, the relations between the villages. She’d treat her worst enemy if she had to, for that was what her value systems dictated. Nothing less and nothing more. Saving people was her goal and not identifying with some organization, village or any other group that didn't enclose humanity as a whole.

Stuck in his angry state of mind, Yoroi just could not figure out why his sister had chosen the side of his momentary enemy so easily. It was true that they had not known one another as long as she had known Toshiro, though she defended him without even taking her brother's feelings in mind. She knew full well what he would do if things turned out like this, proving that he was nothing more then a burden for her that slowed down her stride towards happiness. For a while now, they had been encountering some problems, but had been living together rather peacefully. Whether it was just having dinner, having his sister remove the dye from his hair or teaching him how he had to eat with a fork and knife. Truly, they had been through quite a lot, though all that had happened so far was her doing things for him, her giving things up for him. Yoroi did not want to become the person that did such things, and even if it hurt him, he knew that it was best to just leave things be and move on alone. Then all of a sudden, he was hugged by the red haired girl that had, up until now, remained fairly distant. What added to the fact that this was unexpected was that she did not share much about her past with him, did not feel like telling him about the things she did or had done and seemed occupied with other things at times.
Now, Yoroi was a great Shinobi, that much had been proven by the rate in which he had become a Shinobi that was almost as strong, if not just as strong as Kimiko's to be husband and in how easily he could kill a man once he had made himself into a threat to the lives of innocent people. It was because of that that it seemed funny how awkward he was when it came down to social situations, not knowing what to do or to say when he received such a sudden hug. In that awkward moment, it seemed that Ophelia had also received that it was rather strange. When she broke away, Yoroi put his arm around her and hugged her back, which might seem strange, seeing as he lacked a shirt. It did not matter much to Yoroi, he just wanted to enjoy a hug for the first time in a couple of weeks. By the time Ophelia slipped away and went back, he figured that she did not really like to hug, at least not with him. Sighing shortly and silently, he just remained seated while staring blankly through the open door. Listening to Ophelia as she answered his question, it turned out that she would rather call herself an opportunist, rather then a Kirigakure Shinobi, feeling that the title in itself seemed violent and hostile. Claiming she had just been using the village facilities as a means of getting better at using her medical abilities, he did not see why he should not believe, not detecting anything that might give away the fact that she was lying.
"I see. There is really no shame in being a shinobi from a foreign village, it actually seems pretty interesting to me. Still, this does not take away my suspicions as to how your village will benefit the most from this upcoming war. I hope that doesn't make you think any less of me, because I don't think any less of you either" he claimed, hoping that she would not make the decision to hate him for what he said. In that same lecture, he also made sure that she knew about the way he felt about her, that despite her Kirigakure status, he still thought of her as his friend. Once the village got within range of his eyes, something came to mind, something he should inform Ophelia of. "When we get to Konoha, I need to speak to the Hokage. There are some things I dug up that I want him to either confirm or disprove. If I want answers to these questions, he will be the right person to ask. You can choose to come with me if you want, or wait for me until I get back. Just decide when we get there.". With that, the two Shinobi slowly moved closer and closer toward the village hidden in the leaves.
