Lost Origins Final: Nature's Vengeance. A3852f29-6e23-4b72-b6de-b5218216c4a0_zps1ecbe40e

"The darkness that humanity has brought to this world, Ogatami, needs to be cleansed of its impurity. As a Mogozuki, it is your sacred duty to protect nature and its divine balance. The Village's must fall. Resurrect the ancient Shinobi Tribes of our clan, and annihilate those who stand in our way."

Serenely, as if her very body was constructed by the compression of light feathers alone, Kyosha glided down the temples bridge, her body and clothing becoming one with the drafts that passed through the forest. This woman was incredibly odd, without a doubt. As Ogatami paced himself behind her, trying to keep up with her tranquil stride, he couldn't help but wonder if she was even human or not. She informed him that she was pass 200 years old, way over the normal human lifespan. However, some clans, such as the Uzumaki, had such life forces that they were capable of achieving such a feat naturally. Then he remembered the back when he sensed Kyosha's chakra before their encounter, and how erratic and strong it was. If Kyosha, possessed a life force that enabled her to live past the normal life expectancy, then could this be a clan trait? Furthermore, if her clan, the Yamazuru, and his clan, the Mogozuki, cohabited in this area at one point, could he also potentially possess the same life force through potential clan mixing? Aside from the powers of the Gobi, Ogatami was remarked for having a unique type of chakra among his peers. He has never been able to sense his own chakra with his sensory ability, because he lived with it since birth and his own chakra felt natural to him. So, he never knew what his chakra actually felt like to other people. But if it felt anything compared to Kyosha's, he can now understand why he got stared at the most by sensors in crowds, even as a toddler. It was interesting.

Pacing briskly behind him, were both Sunaya and Rogan. The two seemed to be absorbed in their own thoughts, each of them looking over the bridge into the vast forest that was beneath them. Ogatami turned around to look at them a few times to see if they were okay, but neither of them paid notice. Rogan had a bruise on his neck and ear from being smashed into a pillar from an attack. Frequently, he would cover it with his hand as he walked, likely do to the pain, but also the embarrassment of losing so quickly. Sunaya had a hickey on the back of her head, which no one would have known about if she hadn't complained about it every few minutes. Ogatami turned around and looked back down the bridge path that led into the temple grounds. After a long trek across the country, they've finally made it. It was something to be joyous about, for sure, but Ogatami would save his joy at a later time. Today, he would finally know the truth about his history, and he needed to be as serious as possible, especially when in the presence of the spirits of his ancestors.

"Tap Tap. So, how are you feeling man? This is some crazy jungle underground jungle base stuff your people had going on here." Rogan added after tapping Ogatami on his shoulder. Ogatami exhaled a huff out a a laugh that sounded like both humor and agreement. He turned his head and looked back at Rogan from the corner of his eyes. "Yeah I know. But honestly, I'm not surprised. This is Kusa after all, can't expect much beyond bamboo and leaves." He responded. It didn't take long after their exchange did the party of four finally reach the entrance of the temple. It was massive, way bigger than what Ogatami imagined it to be at the start of the bridge. On the head of the huge entrance was his clan's symbol carved into the stone, partially covered in moss. It was bittersweet for Ogatami to see his ancestors temple at that moment. He was exciting because for the first time in his life, he would step foot into his real home, a sanctuary designed for those who shared his blood. But, he was sad to see such a place rich in his history on the brink of ruin from years of abandonment.

Kyosha led the three of them through the shrines dark entrance for a minute until reaching the main entrance corridor. There was only a few shades of light that came into the room from the cracks in the stone ceiling. The other majority of the room was shrouded in darkness. There were skitter sounds in the ceiling, that may have been bats, insects, or even monkeys from the surrounding forests. Sunaya jumped a little when hearing the critter sounds, which may be the only sounds her ears are capable of noticing beyond her own. "Ogatami, please do the honors." Kyosha said in an even tone while looking at the walls. Ogatami closed his eyes, promptly understanding her notion. Harnessing his fire chakra, he projected his energy outward in a light wave throughout the room. Subsequently, the torches on the wall ignited, lighting up the immense jungle room.

The room in its entirety was revealed from the light of the torches. It was a marvelous experience for the group when they seen the divine corridor in all its glory. Stones that appeared to be partially mixed with gold occupied all the walls in an evenly distributed manner. Although dim with age, their rich quality still managed to give a treasury type of feel to the room, especially when their sparkle was enhanced with the addition of direct sunlight. Ogatami's eyes went to the ceiling to see what the noise that they heard before was coming from. Around the ceiling of the room were large holes in the wall that were stuffed with so much twigs and branches that they protruded through the space. Flocks of owls hovered around the ceiling traveling form nest to nest, dropping debris and other apparatuses to the ground every time one of them landed. It was an incredible view from below, the team couldn't stop looking at the owls as they glided around the top tier of the immense room. One of the owls, a beautiful bright red and blue feathered creature, flew down and sat on Ogatami's head for a few seconds before flying off. Both Sunaya and Rogan laughed at Ogatami, although he didn't find it too amusing. He looked at Kyosha after giving his cohorts dirty looks, and asked about the owls.

"The Mogozuki have always had some sort of strange relationship with Owls. It's what they were renowned for actually. I'm sure you'll learn more about their contracted relationship with your clan as you progress through your training. But for now, let's continue to the garden zone." The silver haired woman had affirmed while walking straight towards the middle passage. The group were led towards the passageway dead center of the room, between two large statues of golden lions that were wrapped in vine. They entered a large hallways with spiked walls and skeletons in between the base of the protrusions, as if they been crushed from the spiked walls colliding. Ogatami looked around skeptically as they walked through the passage of skeletons.

"What's with the welcoming committee?" He snarked towards Kyosha. "Like I said before, this is a protected area. Those who have managed to slip through me, have become victim to the temple's deadly booby traps." She said in the same monotonous voice. "Okay, but why aren't they coming on now?" Sunaya asked, taking the words right out of Ogatami's mouth. "Because, Ogatami is among us. This temple is fortified by a special seal in its basement made from the mixture of l ink and the blood of the Mogozuki. It prevents the temples defense mechanism from activating when a Mogozuki is within the area." She said. Sunaya gave a slight awe towards the statement, and so did Ogatami. Creating such a intricate seal with selective properties in a facility this big was impressive, even beyond the scope of some of the seals Konoha's protection service even uses. Rogan was the only one of the youngsters that wasn't intrigued in the slightest. Actually, he didn't seem impressed by anything since walking into the temple, which started to irritate Ogatami. He slowed down his pace until Rogan caught up to him, the blue haired warrior staring at him as he did so, wondering what he was up to.

Ogatami looked at him with a rather annoyed facial expression. Rogan appeared confused, of course, wondering why his friend was suddenly looking at him in such a way. "So, what? You think MY clan's temple is lackluster to your Uchiha clans mansions in the village?" He said with a passive aggressive tone. Rogan shook his head in even more confusion. "What do you mean?" He whispered back. "Well, you've been acting funny ever since coming into the shrine." Ogatami admitted. Rogan moaned and glanced behind him for a short second, before looking back at Ogatami once more. "The thing is, I keep getting the feeling that we're being watched." He confessed. Ogatami looked behind them as well, and saw nothing but the ends of the hallway that led to the chamber that they previously came from. "This place contains hundreds of deceased souls, both from my ancestors, and those who tried to infiltrate the temple. More than likely, a lot of people are watching us." He said. Rogan shook his head once more, and fanned off Ogatami's consistent spirit talk "Look, I know you're like a medium and all that good stuff, but seriously. I've been hearing movement in the distance. Someone is physically here and watching us from the shadows." The tension between them became more serious. If there was someone watching them from the distance, more than likely they would have set off a booby trap and would have been heard. Additionally, Kyosha, the temples superior protector, was among them. If they were being followed, she would surely have known and dealt with it accordingly. Ogatami didn't want to argue, however, dealing with Rogan's stubbornness was too much for the moment. He decided to end right there. "Alright, I'll stay on my toes and keep my sensory guard up." He said while advancing forward. Rogan watched Ogatami as he passed him with the cold shoulder, and frowned. However, he preferred it that way, because he would be able to protect him if the spy came from behind.

PostSubject: Re: Lost Origins Final: Nature's Vengeance. Lost Origins Final: Nature's Vengeance. EmptyWed 31 Jul 2013, 3:44 am

"We're here." Kyosha announced as they made it out a narrow passage way, which seemed more like a crack in the wall than anything. In a single file order, Ogatami, Sunaya, and Rogan pushed themselves through the crack sideways, until finally slithering out and entering their new area. The garden zone was located in the heart of the temple, and it felt that way too. They've been traveling through the temple for at least half a day, maneuvering through chambers, corridors, rooms, ritual areas, and of course booby trapped tunnels. Seeing the Garden was similar to first entering the temple, breathtaking and almost overwhelming by its stone age beauty. The large circular garden was the epitome meaning of the word tranquil. Beautiful sunny rays shined upon the field in golden light. Tall trees were aligned near the edge of the garden, with the more exotic and smaller plants going towards the center. At the very core of the garden, was a giant statue of a great bearded man with a apparel similar to that of a Kage standing within the field.

The crew walked through the garden in a pleasant, yet tired manner. After making their way through the immense dark temple, and coming into a relaxing setting such as the garden, it would make sense that they would want to rest there. Sunaya yawned as she walked down the stone path, running her fingers through the golden petals of the wondrous trees along the walkways edge. She remarked at how pretty they were, and how much they matched the ones one her kimino. Ogatami smiled at her, and said that the flowers thought she was very beautiful. Sunaya then smiled at him back. Ogatami opened up his nature sensory just a little as he walked, just enought to absorb some of the peaceful energy of the plants around him to calm his tensing nerves. He was cautious not to pull in too much, to the point where he could actually sense the plants sometimes annoying personalities and voices. He didn't want to have another episode like in the greenhouse before, especially in a place such as this. He'll never forgive himself if he lost control in the home of his clan, and further destroyed their precious ruins. Hopefully he would get answers about that as well, from whoever he was going to talk to.

They finally reached the center of the garden. The large statue that they seen before was much larger now, occupying its very own garden circle inside the complex. At the edge of the circle, a few yards away from the statue, were a set of benches that encircled the statue's garden. "Alright, this is it." She said while stepping foot on the grass. Ogatami entered the circle along with her, and onto the garden's grass. Both Sunaya and Rogan proceeded to follow them, but were halted by Kyosha. "Stop, this ground is only for those of the bloodline. If you two were to step on this grass, you will be inflicted with a great illnesses. Please, have a seat on one of the benches." She warned them in a very stern tone. Rogan's eyes widened in rage as he retreated his foot. "What, we're not leaving Ogatami, we came here together, we stick together." He affirmed. "Rogan.." Sunaya said concerned. Kyosha looked at him with a blank state, unmoved by his demanding tone. Ogatami put his hand on her shoulder, and then on the shoulder of Rogan, one foot in the grass, and one foot out. "Look, Rogan, I'll be alright. I won't be long, promise." Ogatami said calmly. Rogan stormed away, body slamming the bench and crossing his arms. Ogatami and Sunaya both sighed at him, and Sunaya slowly strolled to the bench beside him, after looked back at Ogatami as he walked with Kyosha towards the statue. "Good luck, my love." She whispered before continuing her stroll.

Kyosha led Ogatami to the base of the giant statue, the two stood in front of the immense stone figure and looked up at its head. The craftsman of such a marvelous creation was one of great talent, that was without a doubt. Every detail of the statue was etched to realistic perfection, even through the course of centuries without retouching. The statue was of a man with great masculine beauty and age. His features were similar to that of Ogatami. He had a flat face with high cheekbones and a defined jawline. A bulbous nose and large eyebrows. Like Ogatami, his most amazing feature was his long beard and hair and that curled into amazing locks. If he were an actual human, chances were he would also have Ogatami's violet eyes, and his hair would have been black. "Who is he suppose to be?" Ogatami said with his adrift tone, the winds of the garden making his clothing flap in the wind. "This is Mogozuki, Jekutsu, the founder of the clan and your direct grandfather, Ogatami." The young violet eyed boy looked at her with gentle intensity. "Wow, amazing." He whispered. Kyosha walked closer to him, her steps rustling against the grass. She took Ogatami's hand in between her own. This movement took Ogatami by surprise, it was strange, almost creepy, coming from a woman who always seemed so emotionless.

"Congratulations, Ogatami, you have reached the end of your journey, and I'm sure a new one will spring once this meeting is over. Now, the spirit of Jeketsu would like to speak with you directly, do you accept his request?" She asked in a stern tone, as if delivering an ultimatum. Ogatami didn't hesitate to answer, he didn't need to. "I'm ready, show him to me." He replied boldly. Before smiled before closing her eyes and entering a trance state, rocking back in forth with the growing memento of the wind. Ogatami put her arms around her to secure her from falling. The winds began to pick up and swirl around them in a tempo of golden petals and strands of grass. Ogatami looked around in shock at the spontaneous uprising of violent winds. After minutes of trying to retain his own composure and securing Kyosha while in her trance, the ruckus stopped instantly. Ogatami opened his clenched eyes, and looked around cautiously, spectating the possible damage the tempest could have caused. Oddly, as if dreaming, golden petals hovered around the field in a amazing dreamlike tranquility. Now able to use proper footing, Ogatami carefully laid Kyosha on the ground, her body lifelessly resting against the grass. He got up,  and walked around the field, touching, and toying, with the golden petals that were suspended in mid air, until hearing steps nearby.

"We finally meet, Ogatami." Spoke a mysterious voice. Ogatami turned around, and saw the image of a human sized immense white wolf standing a few meters in front of him. "Oh,.." He said in awe of the creatures majestic beauty. Usually, his first instinct would be to reach for his weapon, or possibly run away from such a giant creature. But this one felt sacred to him, like it was a part of his very own essence. Naturally, he bowed to it. "You must be Jeketsu, the Mogozuki's elder, it's nice to finally make your presence." He said. The wolf nodded his great divine head at the boy in assurance. "That is correct. I see even over the course of centuries, my lineage is still able to produce powerful shinobi. I have watched over you for some time now, along with the Gobi, my Ogatami. I am very proud of you, you are my dearest grandson, and I love you." He said warmly. Ogatami became slightly emotional, which came to a surprise since over the past year he been slowly mitigating his emotions after rendering them useless as a shinobi. However, he couldn't help himself when heard from someone who he felt such a connection with, his very own forefather, and protector.

"I understand you have some questions regarding your parents and the Gobi, and I will now answer them for you." He said. The great white wolf with the marked forehead sat upon the ground and wanted Ogatami to do the same. Ogatami removed his combat wear and sat them on the ground next to him. It symbolized him stripping away the armor he had up during most of his life, he felt vulnerable, pure, when in the presence of Jeketsu. And when he sat up next to the great white creature, he wanted no weapons of bloodshed pressed against its sacred fur.

"You were born in Grass Country, son of Negoto Mogozuki, and Kureno, of Kirigakure's Yuki clan. Your father, like most members of the clan, was a freelance mercenary, but also a skilled exorcist. The Mogozuki are born with a unique type of chakra that makes them suitable for manipulating spirital energy, both human, and demonic. For centuries, we used our chakra to commune with spirits, mostly those of within nature's jurisdiction. We call this ability, Soul Rooting. Like you, Ogatami, I was once the jinchurki of the Gobi, its very first host. Most of the clan's power, as well as chakra, is actually based of the demon's power that I inherited. For centuries we have passed on the power of the Gobi from generation to generation, clan members possessing it the demon being known as sacred Avatars. Their immense elemental power and chakra were used to perform Soul Rooting techniques on an astronomical scale, capable of harnessing the power of all kinds of natural disasters. Now, here's where things get interesting." He said. Ogatami ears perked up, and he rolled his head against his fur to face his heads direction.

"As you know by now, within Kusa, our clan along with some others formed a new territory that you sit within now, known as the Village Hidden In Temples. However, it was breached by enemy forces centuries ago during the Clan Wars in the feudal era. Our village, as well as most of our clan members were destroyed. We eventually fell into the hands of early Konoha, and like most clans, were promised a deal that if we joined their military, then they would protect us from the outside forces that slaughtered neutral clans. So some of us did, while the others stayed behind and became mercenaries like the others. However, once Konoha found out about he Gobi's relation to our clan, they sought to harness its power for themselves. We, finding the Gobi to be a being of high sacred and religeous purpose, did not want it to be used as a instrument of war. Since you were destined to be the Gobi's next Avatar before birth, your parents deflected back to Kusa away from Konoha's military, so when you were born, the transference of the demon could be done out of harms way. We were betrayed, however, someone within our clan notified Konoha's military of our plan, and that's when the bloodshed happened. Konoha slaughtered our clansmen, one by one, subjecting them to harsh interrogation methods to try to extract knowledge from them on your location. Eventually they got hold of the elder, and knowledge of your whereabouts. A platoon of ANBU went to Kusa in hopes of extracting you. They killed your parents, and kidnapped you shortly after childbirth and brought you back to the village to be raised as one of them. That way, you would willingly grant them your power as their precious villager. Ogatami, Konoha is not to be trusted, you must get away from them as soon as possible."

There it was, the truth behind his clan that he'd been searching for all these years. His gut feeling was correct all along, Konoha had betrayed his people for the conquest of power. He was furious, rage crippling out of the seal on his stomach. "Thank you." He said to Jeketsu before standing off of him and walking a few steps away. Jeketsu, stood up as well, and pranced in beside Ogatami as they stared at his statue. "I know what I must do. Konoha isn't my home anymore, it is now my enemy. They took away the only family that I had over some senseless power, I can never forgive them." Ogatami said coldly. Jeketsu snorted through his snout and wagged his tail in great sweeping motions. "What is it?" Ogatami asked the great beast. Jeketsu looked at him but didn't say anything at first. But then looked back at the statue, as if hiding something. "You're not strong enough to rebel against Konoha, nor take vengeance on your clan. Ogatami, it is time that you fully embrace the power both in your blood, and in your soul. Once you deflect from Konoha, I want you to go to Tea Country, there is a man there named Enoga Mogozuki, he is your uncle, and godfather. Seek him out and ask for his aid, he is one of the last Mogozuki fully trained in our ways. He may be a little... unstable, but he's loyal to the tribe. I will be speaking to you soon, grandson. Good luck, and long live the Mogozuki." He said before vanishing into a explosion of golden leaves.

After all was said and done. Ogatami awakened Kyosha and reunited with his both Sunaya and Rogan, who were initially sleep on the bench. He informed them on some of the things that happened between Jeketsu and him. They understood his decision, and supported him. They said their goodbyes to Kyosha, before exiting the temple and heading back to Konoha. Ogatami had a lot of planning, and packing to do. If he was going to leave Konoha, he had to be smart about it.
