Akemi has short, very messy black hair that reaches just above her shoulders. It is always left loose, even though the fringe cuts across her right eye so it looks like she can't see properly. Another piece of stray fringe slopes across her forehead in a seperate part. The ends of her hair are pointed and look sharp, which is a natural thing for her and not done deliberately. There is a long piece of hair that graduates down to her neck and lining the side of her face. Her eyes are chocolate brown that always show a lot of emotion like that of a dog.

On each of her cheeks is the trade mark symbol of her clan, the red fang markings that are indeed very noticeable. If she ever smiles, it looks more like a grin and her large canines sit just over her bottom lip for all to see. However, she doesn't mind that her canines are very enlarged and sharp, even if she sometimes bites her tongue while eating and draws blood straight away.

Her most worn outfit is a lilac kimino that cuts low across her chest, so she wears a black shirt underneath it that can be seen on her arms and just below her neck. The kimino comes down to her thighs in length, and she wears a pair of black legging type trousers underneath it. Around her middle is a very thick peach coloured bow that ties around the back, and trails down her knee caps. Her arms are mainly covered by a pair of very long lilac gloves that are fingerless and have dark purple bands around the wrists and tops of the gloves. They end just before her shoulders, where you can see the black under-shirt she wears. And finally, for her foot wear she has a pair of sturdy black and white boots that have straps on the sides of them.
Personality: Being an Inuzuka, Akemi is typically very loud and up front with people. She has a very cheeky nature about her that is very visable with the way she both talks, and what she says. She will always speak up for herself and anyone else she feels close to, even if it would end up getting her hurt, like when dealing with a bully. However, she has a very loving and compassionate side to her as well, like a dog would. If she is attached to someone, she will never let go, even if they are horrible and down-right difficult, she will stick by them no matter what is said or done. Her loyalty is something to be admired, but it can go without saying that sometimes people manipulate that against her.

Akemi loves attention and being fussed over, praised or admired. That, and she hates to be told off or to know she has done something wrong. If someone shouts at her, she will immediately feel sick to the stomach and cower away from them. If you didn't notice the tell-tale signs of her clan on her face, then you would guess correctly after meeting her. Not only does she look like a dog with the sharpened canines, but she has the personality of one too.

Not only that, there is one more thing that Akemi loves dearly, and that is the thrill of a fight. The adrenaline pumping through her veins; that feeling of anticipation in her stomach and some new found strength in her arms and character are all things she lives for. That, and being with her canine companion, of course.

Clan Traits: This clan has a large infatuation with the dog species. Rarely will a clan member be seen with out their canine companion which all of them have. All of their clan jutsu incorporate the usage of their dogs and could almost be considered another ninja with the level they are utilized at, quite often using the same jutsu as their human master. The dogs are often regular sized puppies, nothing to large from the beginning, and are usually in this stage for the duriation of the time the ninja is a genin, and part of their chunin. When the ninja is about 15, the puppy will go through a giant growth spurt, at least quadrupling in size. These dogs are bred specially and do not age in normal dog years and can live as long as a human. This was done so that a clansmen would not have to constantly replace companions because they often grow very attached to their dogs.

Inuzuka clan members also take on some very dog like characteristics in their body and also in their personality. Typically they are very brash and up front, being very animalistic and instinctual. This can cause them to come off as confrontational. Their canines are sharper then most, resembling that of dogs, and they have increased senses of smell, being able to track like a dog with little effort. They also always have red face paint on, which is the symbol of their clan.

Description: A way to be able to track the target with out using site has to be in place for this to work. After this t, both the User and his companion use Man Beast Combination : Double-Headed Wolf to become a large, two-headed wolf. The two then perform a much more powerful Dual Piercing Fang attack. Like the lesser version, they spin rapidly to attack their target. Unlike the previous version, however, they move so rapidly that they can't see where they're going, hence the reason for the earlier for tracking with out sight, which allows them to track their opponents usually by scent. This attack is powerful enough to cut a person in two, and even tear through steel. Even if the attack misses, its speed is so great that the surrounding air can slice like a blade. Such power is not without its drawbacks, however. Not only does this attack effectively blind both users for its duration, but it tires them such that they can only perform it three times at chunin rank.

History:

The Inuzuka clan (犬塚一族, Inuzuka Ichizoku) or Inuzuka family (犬塚家, Inuzuka-ke) is known for their use of dogs (some clan members prefer wolves) as fighting companions. Clan members are apparently given their own canine partner or partners when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and his/her dog(s) are practically inseparable. Clan members have distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks, animalistic eyes, and enlarged canine teeth. It would seem that due to the bond between a Inuzuka clan member and their canine partner(s), their chakra is allowed to mix and is shared between them, adding a feral appearance to the human partners, and makes a bond between then that affords them the use of the clan's collaboration-style techniques, such as the Dual Piercing Fang technique.

Akemi's Companion

Name: Inazuma
Nickname: Ina-chan or Sparky
Age: One and a half
Species: Special breed of Inuzaka dog
Appearance: Inuzuka, Akemi [Kumo Genin] Indigo

Inazuma looks like a typical black puppy, but with startling blue eyes. She always looks very happy, and her tail is always wagging around wildly to prove it. However, if she is angered her eyes seem to turn darker and her tail stops still, as if it has been suspended. There is a very distinct way to tell her apart from other dogs, and that is because she has yellow bands of material tied around her legs.
Personality: Inazuma is like her master, being very bubbly and confident. She is very clumsy with her large paws that seem to be ready for her to grow, and she manages to trip over them a lot when she walks. Just like any other dog, she responds to different tones of voice and not that of words. Someone could be saying she was wonderful, but in the wrong way of saying it she could think they were telling her off and whimper at them sadly.

Despite her usual optimistic look on life, there are times when Inazuma becomes gloomy, and that would be when her master is hurt or depressed. Their bonds are very tight and close, despite only knowing each other for a year. This is obviously because of the type of dog she is, and that her master is an Inuzaka, enabling them to become inseperable in a very short period of time.
Background: When Akemi became a Genin, which was when she was 13, she was told that she was ready to have a companion. Her father showed her to a secret room in their house that she never knew about until now, and she could hear many whimpers inside it of puppies. She was shown inside and into the middle of the room, where an older dog was curled up asleep with a few puppies staggering around her, trying to find their feet.
"Now, walk slowly up to them all without making a sound, then crouch down in front of them." Her father instructed. Akemi did as she was told, and crouched down in front of the older dog that was obviously the mother of these puppies. The smaller dogs pricked their heads up when they sensed someone was there, and rushed over to the girl.

There was one puppy that had black fur and blue eyes that seemed particulary interested in the girl, and wouldn't leave her side, growling at it's siblings whenever they got near. This was soon to be Inazuma; Akemi's choice of dog. It didn't take long after that for her to realise that this puppy was the one for her.
"Dad, I've chosen one." She said quietly, looking back round to her father who nodded.
"Pick her up by the scruff of the neck to show it who's boss." He then told her, and Akemi reluctantly did so. She thought that she would hurt the puppy, but it didn't mind at all.

Akemi's father lead her out of the room again and nodded at his daughter to say that the puppy could be put down now. She did as she was told, and set the small dog down on the floor.
"Now, this shall be your companion for life. It's a female, so would you like to name it?" Her father asked as the puppy ran round and round in circles around Akemi's feet.
"Inazuma." She smiled a little as the puppy barked at her hearing it's new name.

Description: This is the jutsu that earned Akemi her nickname. This jutsu can also be performed with her companion, Inazuma. By utilizing the element of lightning, she can focus it into her very large, sharp canines. They will then turn a shocking yellow colour to show they have been charged up, and then she can pounce. She will sink low to the floor and dart towards her opponent, hopefully biting them on either the arm or leg as a common target. If this is used as a combo attack, Akemi will go for one limb and Inazuma will go for the other. Not only will that area have teeth marks in it, but the lightning will carry on underneath the target's first layer of skin throughout the limb targetted. This will cause pain and slowed movement with that limb, but won't paralyse it.

Description: This is mainly a defensive technique used by Akemi when she is in a tight spot that she has taught to Inazuma also. She will focus her lightning chakra down into her legs until she feels ready, making the correct handsigns. Then, she will jump up into the air and come down as hard as possible onto the floor, sending a small tremour through the ground with the lightning following it. It will cause her opponent to stumble and trip over, giving her a chance to get ready and strike while the target is on the floor.

Background Information

History:

Birth Arc~

Akemi was born into the main branch of the Inuzaka family in Konoha. Her mother and father were wealthy, and thus they had a large house and many luxuries about it. However, all was not well with their relationship with the rest of the clan. Her grandfather (Itsumi) who was the leader of the clan at the time, wasn't happy that he didn't have a grandson even though his grand-daughter would carry on the clan's abilities. Another thing he wasn't happy with, was Akemi's mother (Hoshi) who wasn't of a 'good blood standard', meaning she had no bloodline limit at all. She came from a regular family but was still a powerful kunoichi in her own rights. She may not have a bloodline limit, but she was a renowned Taijutsu master with a sub speciallty of Fuuinjutsu that too was strong.

And yet, the clan's elders weren't having any of it.

They forced Akemi's mother and father (Daichi) out of the village with her as only a baby. With no where else in Konoha to go, they decided to travel to Kumogakure where Akemi's mother had family that would look after them until they were stable enough to look after themselves. After many days and nights travelling, they finally reached the village and settled into the main house of the Hotaru family. (Akemi's mother's family)

Even though the family were wary of Hoshi's husband, they doted on Akemi and loved her to pieces. Luckily for her, she can only remember the good things and not all the upheaval earlier in her life, even though she was told of this when she was older.

Childhood Arc~

Finally, trust came to Daichi soon enough from the Hotaru family when Akemi turned 6 years old. They had decided that a man who managed to raise such a lovely daughter wasn't bad after all. It was true; Akemi was indeed a very good young girl. She did as she was asked of her without any second thoughts, and would be polite to the elders in the family. Hoshi was so relieved that she had turned out ok after the shakey start she had to life, but was also grateful that her family were willing to take them in and give them shelter until they got themselves on their feet again.

That happened soon enough. Daichi and Hoshi both got jobs as Chuunin in the village after proving their worth and documents from Konohagakure, so they started to bring in money. The Hotaru family looked after Akemi during the day and told her ancient tales from generations ago about their ancestors. By the sound of it, they were all very important and wealthy shinobi, and it fascinated the young girl as her imagination ran away with her.

Not only did she hear tales from that family, but of the Inuzaka as well from her father when he wasn't working. He had a companion named Yasu, a large grey dog that was always around at the house and he would tell his daughter of the adventures they had been on together, him and Yasu. He also told her that eventually, when she became a Genin, she would be able to have a companion too.

That got Akemi thinking about what to do with her future. She was now 8 years old, and wanted desperately to be as great as all the shinobi in the Hotaru family, and to be an honourable Inuzaka like her father. So, she contemplated her options. She could get her mother and father to teach her, or go to the Academy. Since her mother and father were very busy recently, she decided that going to the Academy would be a good an opportunity as any.

Academy Arc~

True to her words and thoughts, Akemi joined up to the Kumogakure Academy when she was still 8 years of age in preparation to study. She learnt all of the needed skills to become a ninja, of course, while developing her more noticeable clan characteristics. Her canines became sharper and slightly longer, but could only be noticed if she opened her mouth, and the Inuzaka symbol was painted on her cheeks at this young age. As well as these physical changes, it become more obvious that her personality was changing a little too.

She became mischievous when she wasn't at all before, she was usually a good girl that did as she was told. However, she changed completely by the age of 10 when she would play pranks on un-suspecting teachers or classmates. Of course, she made some friends because they found her hilarious, but she also made some enemies that she loved to mess with and provoke. This made the Hotaru family a little tiresome of her, but they still couldn't resist the somewhat charm and innocent look she would use on them a lot.

Daichi was called into the Academy a lot to be complained at for his daughter's behavior, and he would act very solemn while he was there. Then, when they were dismissed, he would actually praise Akemi for showing more and more of their clan's characteristics.

After many more years of Academy training, Akemi was ready to graduate and become a real ninja at last. The day of the examination came, and she was tested on her knowledge of all the jutsus she had learnt while at the Academy, as well as the standard written test. Despite the writing side of things not being her strong point, she managed to scrape through that and get some of the highest scores in Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, so her scores were leveled out at above average.

Genin Arc/Current~

As a Genin, Akemi recieved her companion Inazuma, and so she began to train with her to learn new techniques and make combo attacks. Her father helped her in that repect, passing on some of the secret clan jutsus to his daughter to learn. After giving her the basics to lean, he left her to experiment and come up with her own jutsu, that she did and perfected for both her and Inazuma to use. It did of course help that her father could teach her Taijutsu too, and not just any Taijutsu either.

He taught her some Konoha techniques that she would never have learnt if he didn't originate from Konoha himself.

So, at the present, Akemi is still training along with Inazuma and waiting for a team. She is determined to push herself up to Chuunin level soon, and will stop at nothing until she reaches that goal.
Role-Play Sample:

The sun streamed in through the patchy cloud out on the training ground of Kumogakure, landing on the pale face of a girl that was obviously sleeping. Next to her was a black puppy that was curled up at the girl's side; snoring softly in the tranquility. Akemi's black hair fell across her face as she turned over, and she screwed her eyes up to block out the sun and get back to sleep... not to much avail. She sighed and yawned, her sharp canines reflecting the sun onto the grass below her.
"Ugh... I don't wanna get up yet..." She muttered to herself as she turned over again quickly, making her companion Inazuma stir beside her. The puppy opened it's startling blue eyes and stretched out on it's back, yawning and rolling over onto the far side of it's master. It let a little growl leave it's lips with agreement; it didn't want to get up either. "Sorry, Ina-chan." Akemi laughed a little as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "We best get up."

The pair had been out training until late last night, so late that they had ended up falling asleep there. Hopefully Akemi's mother and father assumed they were out here.
"Akemi! Inazuma!" She heard a distant voice call to her. She brought a slender hand up to above her eyes to shield them from the sun. 'Ah... it's father.' She thought to herself as she held a hand up so her dad could see her.

"There you both are... we were wondering where you got to." The worried voice of her father called again as he came to a hault in front of the both of them. Akemi laughed.
"You seriously think that I'd manage to get myself hurt, dad?" She asked him in a confident tone, jumping up to her feet and grinning down at Inazuma who barked twice, panting madly.
"You can never be too sure with you two." Her dad chuckled and shook his head, his own jet black hair scattering across his eyes.

It was pretty obvious where Akemi got her looks from, and most of her personality, too. This was all found in her father. The things inherited from her mother was a kind and compassionate nature that was shown only occasionally, but it was there. That, and her mother's curiosity that all seemed to fit very well with her dog-like persona.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!" Akemi then frowned a little, her chocolate eyes narrowing in a jokey fashion. Inazuma copied it's master's sudden change in actions too, putting her ears back and grinning a small dogish grin.
"You know what it means." Her father grinned back at Akemi and then rolled his eyes. "We better get back home since you'll need some breakfast. I take it your chakra has run out nearly on empty again?" He asked knowingly as Akemi sweat-dropped.
"Maybe..." She mused, folding her arms before Inazuma barked three times, nodding her head.
"Right, let's get back and get you two rested up, or you won't be able to train tomorrow either." Her dad said wisely, grabbing his daughter's arm and pulling her away from the ground while Akemi openly protested all the way.
