| Clan Name: Fuhen Location: Tsuchi no Kuni Signature Traits:Miners Build Older generations of the clan will usually have quite a husky build about them, being described as in between an endomorph and mesomorph body. This is a trait that has passed on mainly through the males of the clan, as the older generations would hold such a build during their mining years. Fuhen women have often described this build to be the most attractive and often try to look for a man fit with this build.
Strong Character Being described as jolly, loud and boisterous, Fuhen clansmen have often been characterised so because of their seemingly eternally cheerful attitude. It can take quite a bit to so much as upset a Fuhen, with most members being able to shrug off any insult or disgracing remark. Overall personalities are strong, with the majority of the clan being raised with positive attitudes towards their friends, family and life in general. You may perhaps never find so jolly a people as the Fuhen clansmen.
Playing Defense Due to the Kekkei Genkai of the Fuhen clan, it's often found that most Fuhen clansmen will find a profession geared towards guarding or protecting individuals or items. Because their Metal Release capabilities allows them to create metal structures of amazing durability and strength, Fuhen clansmen are able to play an excellent role in the protection of others. Many have even opted to joining their villages Protection Service Ninja or even finding freelance work as bodyguards for high paying customers.
Kekkei Genkai:Kinton | Metal Release Kinton [Metal Release] is the Kekkei Genkai of the Fuhen Clan. With the combination of Earth Release and Fire Release, Fuhen clansmen are able to wield the advanced element of Metal Release. The mixture of the elements if not to be mistaken with the end result of Yoton [Lava Release] for different ratios of chakra are mixed in order to create different resulting elements. Metal Release is found to be incredibly useful in the arts of defense, with metal structures being crafted from Fuhen clansmen chakra in order to block one or even a barrage of attacks. Kinton has found some use with offensive attacks, though defensive techniques tends to be the primary use for the advanced element, however the use of the element ultimately depends on the creativity and versatility of the user.
Damage Resistance Below, the chart helps to clarify the damage resistance if a Fuhen clansmen decides to construct a metal structure for defensive purposes. The horizontal list of ranks serves as the rank of attack, while the vertical list of ranks serves as the rank of defense. For an example, if a C - Rank attack hits a B - Rank defense, it'll take four hits before it breaks. Raiton based attacks will also have an advantage over Kinton defenses, with Raiton techniques requiring one less attack on all defensive ranks. Thus if a C - Rank Raiton attack hits a B - Rank defense, it'll take three hits instead before it breaks. [WNB = Will Not Break.]
| E - Rank | D - Rank | C - Rank | B - Rank | A - Rank | S - Rank | E - Rank | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | D - Rank | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | C - Rank | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | B - Rank | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | A - Rank | WNB | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | S - Rank | WNB | WNB | 6 | 5 | 4 | 2 |
Restrictions As Kinton [Metal Release] is able to create such powerful defensive structures, certain types of jutsu are forbidden from ever being made with Metal Release. Techniques that include enveloping the body with metal in order to create some sort of metal armour are forbidden as a whole, while being able to create weapons from the body are also forbidden, such as growing a metal sword from an arm. These restrictions are to avoid the clan being branded as overpowered and bringing massive disadvantages to opponents.
History:The original members of the Fuhen clan can trace their ancestry back to the vast mountains of Tsuchi no Kuni, where a much smaller family of Fuhen members lived a hard working life as miners. There was no mining company around at the time and any profit made from selling off the minerals they mined was shared amongst one another. It was only when the family grew large enough did the Head of the Clan, or Head of the Family known as at the time, decide to turn the Fuhen Clan into a proper mining organisation.
No other mining company was around their mountain range at the time and thus they faced no other competition. Profits ran high and the family rapidly grew into a clan. During this booming period, members of the clan began experimenting with elements, to find how they could make the mining life easier and perhaps less dangerous. It was during this time that the wondrous element of Kinton [Metal Release] was discovered. People who shared the blood of the Fuhen clan immediately began practise of this new element, with only a select few ever managing to gain a proper control over the advanced element.
Mining activity spread rapidly across Tsuchi no Kuni, with those who had learnt of the Kinton style being used as bodyguards for the miners and the mines themselves. It wasn't long before the Fuhen Clan gained a monopoly in the mining industry and soon the family name was known across the entire country. However, mining only lasted so long for the family and as the earth they dug from soon began to run dry with minerals, the business was quickly diminishing. The latest Head of the Clan had decided to act upon the radical idea of changing the Fuhen business completely and no longer work as miners but instead as guards-for-higher, protection service ninja and any other profession that required bodyguards. Business was once more beginning to pick up and the family name was remaining intact. It was common at this time for many members of the clan to begin spreading across the globe and affiliating themselves with a variety of villages, at first as guards but later as ninja.

| - How would your clan fare against Katon? Considering fire melts metal...
- Kinton: Maiti Sekijun Fīrudo [Metal Release: Mighty Stalagmite Field] - I don't really get this jutsu. If the user is safe within their one metre radius, wouldn't they simply remain unharmed if they don't move? Also, I think the user should have to remain with their dominant fist to the ground until this technique is completed.
- Kinton: Hanburu Kōzan no Kami Bōei [Metal Release: Divine Defense of the Humble Miner] - Wouldn't a shinobi just be able to use chakra to run up the walls of the stadium and escape? Or escape whilst the stadium is being created?
