.Tale Of Enoga Mogozuki. .:Travel Thread:.
"You don't have to pack so much babe. When your luggage begins to outweigh you, I think its time to call it quits." Suggested a handsome young man that leaned against the ship's rail. With a humorous look, he shifted his eyes from the piled bags of Ogatami's luggage and focused in on their owner, who was standing against the rail right beside him. Ogatami didn't respond, only smiled and redirected his attention to the ocean, as if he was absorbing its tranquility into his own body. He breathed in heavily and opened his eyes once more to embrace the scenery of the ocean view under the sunny sky. Rogan, the suave Uchiha boy who was Ogatami's close friend as well as partner, knew more than to converse with his companion during that time. When Ogatami was focused in on his surrounding, he had a habit of tuning everything out, intentionally or not. It took a while for Rogan to understand the concept due to his rather arrogant and thickheaded nature. However, Ogatami was his only exception. He tolerated the Mogozuki boy simply because he adored and respected him. For quite some time now, he has watched as Ogatami matured from the childish young boy he met in the shrine area to the man he is now. He pondered if he changed as well since meeting Ogatami, and he was honestly reluctant to ask, fearing that Ogatami might say something somewhat obnoxious with his new attitude of his.
"I suppose you can never be too prepared." He finally answered back. Rogan took his eyes off the water and onto that of Ogatami's, who was looking back at him with his precious violet eye that casted his reflection like polished jewels. "I mean, this is an important step in my life. I'm finally going to meet a blood relative of mine, my Uncle." He said excitingly, however, towards the end of his speech his tone started to drift, as if being tainted with some drips of nervousness. Rogan, with his keen perceptiveness, of course noticed the boy's slight change of tone, and narrowed his eyes on Ogatami was if studying him for any further change. Ogatami knew that look, it was the look that Rogan gave him before doing something awkwardly affectionate and try to console him. Due to this, Ogatami tried quickly to advance the subject before Rogan could. "He is going to train me you know, I'm looking foreward to what he has to teach me. Maybe he knows some cool hiden or something." He smiled and looked away as he said this, enjoying the feeling of speaking as though he had an actual clan.
"Yeah, but remember what your grandfather's spirit said. He was a little 'off', which could mean a lot of things." He said while turning his back to the rail. He crossed his arms and looked at Ogatami for a response, preparing himself for another potential argument with the short ill-tempered teen. Ogatami sighed and shook his head. He turned around and jumped on the rail to sit on it, a normal person would have fell overboard by the motion, but Ogatami was a shinobi, he anchored himself as soon as his butt hit the railing. "Look, we're both a little 'off', ourselves, so who are we to judge? He's the only family I have, plus, I can take care of myself. I've proven that plenty of times." He said. Rogan droned at the statement, he thought he was joking at first before catching on to Ogatami's seriousness. "Oh, like that time in the greenhouse, when you went all demonic and tried to kill everything. Yeah, great control man." He said in his infamous sarcastic tone, which was becoming one one of Ogatami's top annoyances. He grunted at the lad and shook his head, angry for the fact that he brought it up. But a thought came into his head that slapped the previous one out of his brain.
"Come to think of it." He said thoughtfully while crossing his arms. "He did say he was going to train me to use that power more effectively. I think he referred to it as, Jinchuriki Training? Huh, that'll be interesting." He said facetiously. "What do you mean?" Rogan responded while leaning off the rail. Ogatami looked skeptically at him as he moved directly in front of him passed his private zone, as usual. He intimately continued his concerning question while putting his hand on the railing beside Ogatami, almost touching his thigh. "So you spoke to him? When was this?" He asked. "Well, kind of. He sent me a letter a few days go, apparently, he knows I'm coming." He orated. Rogan appeared to be even more perplexed. If his eyes narrowed any more Ogatami feared that he would burn a whole through him. "Where is it?" He asked. "In the bag." "-Which bag? You've got a million of them here." He said while implying to the piles of black duffle bags Ogatami brought with him on deck from Konoha. Ogatami pointed to one of the bags and Rogan did not hesitate to go through it and retrieve a russet letter with cursive writing on it. He read it out loud:
- Quote :
- Dear Little Ogatami,
Its been a few weeks now since you left the Mogozuki's hidden temple in Grass Country. I'm aware of your interaction with the great spirit of our elder Jakeshu, as well as your desire to learn more about your clan and your search for stable guardianship. I know, because during your whole travel I was secretly spying on you, and, Jekeshu paid me a visit himself when I was in meditation. I apologies for doing this, but protecting the remains of the shrine is one of my sacred duties. By the time you get this letter, you'll probably be on your way to Tea Country or already here. Although I would love to save our introduction face to face, its important that you know what to expect and what I am requiring of you. I will show you the path to becoming an Ultimate Shinobi. I will be your mentor, your sensei, and your guardian for some time, and in return, you will be more loyal and dedicated subordinate. I sense the darkness that resides within you, and the light as well. For it is the same within me, nephew.
Look for me in the in the Yokozo Bar in the village's night district, and we'll take it from there. See you soon.
Mogozuki Enoga
