| QUESTION: For Taijutsu users, does their strength scale with their rank?
I heard it somewhere on the site that the average B Ranked Taijutsu user would have more base strength than another B ranked Shinobi user without Taijutsu. |

| In theory on the whole, people of higher ranks are typically treated as stronger, faster, etc-er, than shinobi of lower ranks. The lines blur a little when you start comparing, say, Genin with Speed SC to jounin without, or Jounin with Speed sc to Senin without.
I think for the most part, it's treated as a bit of a common sense thing. |

| I'd say that Mr. BK over there is correct.
Since it takes a good amount of time, both IC and OOC, to reach the next rank, I suppose one would assume that, whether they like it or not, they'd end up growing some muscle, as well as learning new ways to push themselves, etc.
Jot it down to learning through experience. |

| Common sense and some honor.
You know how ninjas who are 12 and genin are stronger, faster, and more durable than the average adult? Well, comes from training of course and having a high chakra to reinforce this peek human to super human capabilities. Naturally as you grow older your body gets stronger and for ninja this is also true. Especially seeing as they are always working their bodies regardless if its on a mission or casual training.
Real World Example: 15 year old who works out and practices martial arts compared to a 30 year old who does the same. We'll say they have the same or similar fighting styles and training methods. The 30 year old has a more developed body
Naruto World Example: 15 year old chunin compared to 30 year old jounin.
Their would/could be considerable difference. Then of course it comes down to experience and if you also practice martial arts at all.
Going off what's stated above two jounin 30 years of age would not be equal in strength and speed if one focused on tai and the other nin jutsu. But of course....that get's down to actual skill in just knowing how to throw a punch. Two people could be of equal strength but the one with more skill knows how to put more power behind the punch while saving energy compared to the other who inst so much of a martil artist. |

| Even though there is not really a direct answer outside of the "Use common sense" thing and I can see people abusing this, I guess we can call this solved, yeah |

| Look, a taijutsu user isn't necessarily stronger than someone who doesn't utilize taijutsu, not without the strength SC. Some fighting styles focus more on redirecting or countering an opponent's attack than they do on putting a lot of force into a blow.
So short of forcing a number system on US, "Common sense" and "Don't be afraid to go to a mod if you think someone is God Moding" are the best answers you're gonna get. |
