Why do missions have a required post amount and not a required word count on? I'm usually not one to complain about rules and requirements for things but having to make two posts instead of having a word count really bothers me.

You can type 1500 words to pull a single weed, or you can type 300 words to pull a single weed over 2 posts at 150 words each. If we had a word count, it would entail a minimum requirement that the post count does not. Having a word count requirement would make people reach that and give up sometimes, and then they would get angry at the evaluation mods.

It's better to simply give it a minimum post count.

Swear the minimum word count for a genin got bumped to 250? Or did it change again? Either way, the idea of having a minimum post count over a minimum word count for a topic means less able/more brief roleplayers don't find their work deemed 'not good enough' for a complete mission, purely on length. As long as both posts meet the minimum requirement, it's up to them to write as much as they want.

As was explained, each shinobi rank has a word 'requirement' to abide by anyway. When performing a mission, you're expected to post the required amount of posts, as well as have them be of the normally required length.

Can I archive this now? ^^
