Stupid Bugs [Kawa Travel]

Erufuun turned and looked back at her village after exiting the outer gates and look of fear in her eyes. This was her first time traveling out of the fire country in her life and she was doing it alone something that was very dangerous for a ninja but she had matters to attend to elsewhere. She was on her way to attempt to sign a contract with the insects that reside within the river country which she knew would be no easy feat but it was just another task that she felt would make her one step closer to becoming a jounin. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath to calm herself down and to focus on the reason she was going. Even though she was scared the thought of being able to have a destructive insect that can be beckoned to fight alongside her was enough motivation to swallow the fear and continue on.

It was early morning the sun just starting to rise over the horizon and she knew it was ideal to get started early so that at sun down she would be able to rest and be ready to travel the next morning the dark being far to dangerous to travel in alone. The night before she left for the river country she packed a very large bag full of supplies unsure of what she would need she wanted to make sure she was prepared for any situation. She made sure to pack her winter outfit even though she did do her research on the country she wanted it in case of rain, she also packed a large amount of healing supplies such as salves and herbs in case she was forced into combat or the insects wanted to test her strength when she arrived there. Her pack was also full of dried fruits, nuts, instant ramen, and water to make sure she had enough food and water to last her on her way there and back so much so that she barely had enough room to fit her camping set into it. While the pack was very full her increased strength from training in weaponry allowed her to carry it on her back with ease almost as if it were completely empty.

She laughed at herself aloud as she thought about how she was afraid of leaving konoha. It was something she was going to have to do anyway for missions and as long as she wasn't careless she would be completely fine on her own. She felt need to motivate herself as much as she needed to rationalize the situation to make herself realize that leaving home is safe and it will be there when she gets back.

While her fear was still there unable to shake it with rational thinking the thought of being able to see the beautiful landscapes in Kawa No Kuni, she knew it would be a great experience for her and prepare to travel with her team or solo as a ninja later in life and what better way to prepare then by experiencing it first hand? Now being more excited and anxious to arrive at the country then scared or nervous she began to walk getting further and further away from the place she called home not stopping to look back once. She began to pick up the pace her walk turning into a light jog into a full run as she began her trek to the river country.
