Chakra Capacity One

Several hours ago, Yoroi arrived back in the land of fire along with his new friend Ophelia. There were several things that had to be done in order for him to make his return to the village after he left in the manner similar to someone becoming a Missing Shinobi. Because of what had happened between him and Kimiko, he could not return to the village just yet. Things were still on his mind, even though it had been several days ago. Yoroi knew that she was likely to be very angry at him once he came back because of him leaving without saying a word, though that was probably also because she was worried about him. He felt truly bad about the way he had handled the situation, though it was unlike anything he had ever been through, which was exactly why he did what he did. To hear that a loved one would not hesitate to take you to the brink of death was not something one would want to hear, this going double for Yoroi. He could not deal with it when the only person he thought understood him for what he was taking what he said the wrong way and then basing such violent claims upon it. It was because of that that he was training even more fiercely, having very little to do outside of it.

The sad thing was that it was not even the only thing that bothered him about her lately. Now that he had met the person that she was supposedly going to marrying, his family was expanding in a way he personally did not like one bit. Someone who was behaving like a child, despite being quite a bit older then Yoroi was one of the reasons as to why he did not like any of it at all. The lies and deception just made things worse for him, though the one thing that stuck to him was that Kimiko could witness all of that and still want to marry him. If it was the way things were meant to be, then Yoroi would simply go to the wedding so that she could see him with the rest of her family, though outside of that, he would just keep his distant whenever such a thing was possible. Feeling like the bond of family had somewhat withered, Yoroi knew that it would only get worse once they had gone through with the whole marriage. It was however her wish, and because of it, Yoroi felt it was better to just stay out of her way as much as possible. He'd rather be miserable alone then make her miserable because of him. It did not mean that he would not beat up the one that had made him this miserable, for he would rip out his throat if it came down to it.

It was for this reason that he had taken an old monk up on his offer, heading down to the Fire temple in order to receive training in various ways that these monks had already mastered a long time ago. They wanted to show him around the place, even though he knew the layout already. The only thing he wanted was to just train, to be stronger when he got back home, strong enough to be able to face his sister after the crap that had gotten between them. Sitting himself down in a solitary room, he closed his eyes and started meditating. The room he was in had been used as a means of locking up those young monks that went against the teachings and regulations of the monastery. As such, there was not a single window in the entire room, having but one large wooden door that was hard to punch through without the use of chakra, making it worth while to lock someone up in there. In there, he started focusing on the energy that flowed through his body, the chakra that made up the foundation for all of his Ninjutsu techniques, even his Shikotsumyaku. Yoroi did not do this very often, though he was surprisingly good at it, something Modoroki had probably already taken into account when he asked the young man to come over for training.

Focusing on his chakra more then he had done before, he started studying the flow of chakra that moved through his body whenever he made it flare up or die down. Every Shinobi knew where Chakra was centered, though the Kaguya body was not like those of normal Shinobi at all, being much more sturdy and harder to treat during times of illness. They had additional pathways through which their chakra could travel, something that allowed them to mix their chakra with their calcium and reinforce the density and even the shape of their skeletal structure. Putting his hands together, he focused even more on the chakra running through his body, this time trying to focus on the different natural elements he had. The first thing he did was to focus on the water element, a very fluid and somewhat soothing form of energy. Allowing his chakra to take leaps, he tried to see just how far he could take things. The more he focused on his chakra, the more his chakra actually leaked out of his body. His chakra was so strong that it actually made the room itself get drenched when it made contact with the walls, ceiling and floor. It was strange how chakra in itself could cause such effects, though it was not hard to believe at the same time, seeing as some people could create tidal waves with chakra alone.

Something Yoroi had learned a while ago was the fact that when he was angry, his chakra rose up in a manner that he could not control. When this happened, sparks of electricity often flew off and around him, proving that there was more to his own power then he actually knew. Diving deep into his own mind, it was time to tap into his own anger, to unlock the chakra he never used, yet still had locked away inside. The deeper he went in order to find the true source of his anger, the more his chakra started rising up. Small sparks of lightning natured chakra shout out as an aura formed around him, the electricity conducting through the previously drenched room as a bright light started to form inside of the dark space. As he got closer and closer, images of a soon to be married couple rushed through his mind, images of the war ravaging the land and corpses of people he knew littering the streets. Then, with one blast of fair proportions, the sturdy wooden door was bashed out the wall as the lightning chakra sought a way out. He had done it, he had tapped into his hidden power and was all the stronger for it... once he learned how to control it.

Elementalist

As was to be expected, the door that broke out of the wall with so much force was enough to disturb some meditations happening outside. The electrical current had knocked the door out so hard that it had landed in the courtyard, causing people to come to the room Yoroi had been in to figure out just what had happened in there and if he was okay. Strangely, Modoroki was the first one that reached him, looking with a surprised look when he saw that Yoroi was still in deep meditation, probably not even realizing that he had just blown out a door as ancient as the temple itself. Despite this, Modoroki was not mad at him, seeing that Yoroi had started learning more about himself by following the teachings of the Fire Temple. Shaking his head at the thought of the young man and his potential to grow, he kept moving on through the room that had a small layer of water laying on top of it, also a result of Yoroi's water chakra. Shaking his head once more, he made a gesture aimed at the other monks that had been rounded up around the place, letting them know that everything was quite already and that nobody had gotten hurt.

With this coming from one of the head monks of the monastery, the others quickly fell in line and returned to their own daily activities. Still in a world of meditation and thought, Yoroi continued floating through his own soul. To be locked in meditation like this was next to impossible for those who were not trained to be a monk, though Yoroi seemed to be one of the rare ones that could do it regardless of such limitations. With his newly awakened chakra, he could feel that something about him had changed, something that felt like an outer change, but was in fact a change in his very chakra system. It was as if the burst of chakra had somehow evolved his abilities, or actually, unlocked what was already there. Whatever the reason for it was, this new kind of chakra that had come forth felt like it was a lot hotter then his lightning chakra and far more uncontrollable then his water chakra. As such, the only logical explanation for this was that this chakra was of the elemental nature of fire. One of Kimiko's elements was fire, her being the first one who had ever shown him this destructive power in use.

She had done much more then that really, allowing him to feel the destructive power of the fire element first hand. He had burned his back to the third degree when he tried to escape from an earthen prison she had made in order to contain him, effectively turning the entire thing into a furnace meant to torch and burn him to cinders. Not just that, but he had also seen her use it in the form of some external armor of flames that made it hard for him to even get close to her while she imbued her blade with those exact same flames in order to super-heat it to levels that made it hard to even stand close to. Though the scars on his body had disappeared as a result of Ophelia's medical equipment, he had a large wound on his back and another that covered the center of his chest because of it, meaning that he understood very well how incredibly destructive the power of fire truly was. To think that this was now also a part of him was rather astonishing, at the very least something he had not expected at all. There was only one way to know for sure if what he suspected was true, and that was by using a special piece of paper.

Stopping by a small shack where the Monks had some of their equipment stored, he took several pieces of chakra paper with him into the courtyard. Sitting down by the side of the Koi pond, he made himself comfortable as he looked at the small pieces of paper. If his speculation was true, then this test would prove that he in fact had access to the fire element now. As a precaution, he took out one piece of paper and held it between his pointer and thumb. Focusing some water chakra through his body, the paper soaked up and became drenched with water, doing exactly as it was supposed to. Tossing it to the side, he tried once more with a new piece of the special paper, this time placing his focus on the lightning element, causing the paper to wrinkle towards the center. With this much of his preparations out of the way, the last piece of paper he held between his fingers would prove that his theory was either true, or false. Taking a deep breath, he narrowed his eyes and focused all he had on the paper, using the strange new form of chakra that had popped up a few minutes ago. To his surprise, the paper caught fire and burned down to mere ashes in a split second.

In that split second, Yoroi's speculations had been confirmed as the truth. Remaining seated for a moment, he thought about what he would be able to achieve once he learned more about the fire style. It's destructive power was clear, though there were probably a hundred other ways in which he could use it. When he got back to the hidden leaf village, maybe he could ask Kimiko about what she knew about the element, knowing that she was a very skilled user. He had seen the ash clouds she could create, the burning blades and the fireballs shaped like monsters, proving to him that she would be his best option by far. They however, had some problems that needed working out first, so it was not like he could just run home and ask her for help. No, he had to figure this one out on his own, having no other way of getting things done. Figuring that if someone could help him on his way while in the monastery, it would probably be Modoroki, thus leading the young man to seek him out in his room. Still psyched about the discovery of this third elemental nature inside of his chakra system, it was the first thing he told the old man about, who in turn responded with shock at first, then asking him what he was going to do with it.

Not entirely sure as to what he meant, Modoroki explained that Yoroi was now wielding one of the elements that the land of fire was known for, seeing as several great Shinobi had used these elements to burn a new path for it's villagers. He continued by explaining that there was more to fire then mindless destruction, claiming that in the wake of fire, new life could come to rise. It seemed like a good point, knowing that plant life for one seemed to grow a lot better in volcanic soil, something that only came to be once a volcano erupted and destroyed all life in it's wake. Now understand his point, Modoroki gave him a scroll that explained how to perform one of the more generic fire Ninjutsu before sending him into the courtyard. Once there, he started focusing his chakra as he ran through the seals, memorizing them for future purposes. Concentration was what he needed now, putting all of it on the forming of the right seals and the forming of the fire chakra inside of his body. It was just like his genin days all over again, back when Hani taught him the basics of Ninjutsu and how to use his lightning element. Going with the things she taught him back then, he used her wisdom to guide himself through this hard time.

Letting the new kind of chakra flow through him and form in his gullet, he took a deep breath after running through the seals one more time. Then, it was all or nothing as he blew out all the air and chakra stored inside, creating a fire blast of great proportions. As it roared over the courtyard, Modoroki stood in his room, looking at Yoroi and the powerful flames that erupted from him. Once more, the old man felt proud, proud that the young man had been able to grasp new concepts so quickly. He had done it, Yoroi had unlocked the element of fire, bringing him one step closer to becoming the shield the village needed in order to protect it's civilians.

FLASH SPEED

The third day was one that was unlike the others in that it was a much more active one, at least that was what Yoroi had been planning. It was going to be a physical exercise day, one he had not been able to have since he got here, having placed his focus on his internal and mental training from the moment he had arrived at the monastery. It had to be done, he knew that, though it did not mean that he was happy with sitting in one place the entire day. So far, having increased the amount of techniques he could use in a fight was a very smart choice, for this kind of thing was always useful. He knew that his sister Kimiko had a ton of chakra at her disposal, allowing her to use one powerful technique after the other. Not just that, but she controlled three elements, wind, earth and fire, making for highly destructive and dangerous combinations that could easily kill a man if he was not treating it with utmost caution. He himself had been scarred by Kimiko’s attacks, proving just how dangerous she was when in combat. Thanks to Ophelia, the wounds he had sustained in his fight with her had disappeared completely, though the mental scars remained. The things that had been said and done were not so easily forgotten, especially not to someone that was like Yoroi, someone who held grudges. Hopefully, his anger would pass sometime soon, even though the things that had been said to him would never truly fade. It had not just been the things she had done, in fact, Kimiko only had a small part in all of this, though the simple fact that she was a part of the problem just made things harder.

With the steps he had taken here in the monastery so far, Yoroi started to get closer and closer to her power, having unlocked a third element of his own through hard meditation, concentration and practice. That said, it was time to start working on his physical attributes, primarily his movement speed, one of the things he relied on quite a bit during a fight. His quick moves allowed him to dodge large amounts of damage before they had a chance to hit him, in turn making it harder for others to avoid his rapid Taijutsu based techniques. Even though his attacks lacked the brute force some others had, Yoroi could deal strikes at a rapid pace, often using his bloodline to add more damage to his targets. Whether it was used to amplify attacks or his ability to dodge attacks, speed was a very important asset in his arsenal. While he ran, he went through the front gate, starting to run laps around the outer walls of the monastery. Despite not being able to tell exactly how long it took to run one lap, he knew that he was quite quick. Putting a smile line on the wall every time he passed around the corner, he kept accurate track of the laps he had made. Running six laps around the monastery, Yoroi finally got bored with it and decided to try out something else entirely. If he kept running normally, the amount of speed he could pack would never truly grow, that much was a certainty. As it was, pushing his speed to greater levels was already hard to achieve, Yoroi knew that very well, though he also knew that it was far from impossible as long as he had the right equipment. Getting the right equipment was, however, a lot harder then it sounded, for these were not the kind of things that were stashed away somewhere in a monastery.

If he could apply weights to his legs and lower body, he could increase the amount of muscle he had in his legs, in turn increasing his speed and the time he could keep running without getting tired. Unfortunately, he did not have his weights with him, and even if he did, the ones he had used before were outgrown already, meaning that it was about time to get some new stuff. Scouring the storage rooms of the monastery, he could not find anything that was made for what he wanted and needed, though he did manage to find a different kind of weights. The weights he found were used to punish monks who were not doing their duty by having them wear the weights and perform several push ups. They were not meant for what Yoroi wanted, though they were the closest thing to having actual training weights, so they would just have to do. Attaching weights to his legs and waist, it was time to increase his speed to a point where he could beat his existent speed, which was quite the challenge in itself. He was one of the most quick and nimble Shinobi of the hidden leaf village, though that would never be enough for him. No, he wanted to be the fastest of them all, both in and out of combat, just to show them that he was superior to all of them. In the eyes of Kimiko’s new husband, all he was was a freak of nature, and even if he took back those words, it did not mean the way he thought of him would change, making the idea in itself a futile attempt. What people thought of him did not matter anymore, all that mattered was surpassing them and becoming the stronger Shinobi. He was the younger brother of Konoha’s Sannin, he had something to live up to and overcome, rather then to remain in her shadow for the rest of his life. To show all those that stood against him and all those that doubted him that he was superior to them, that was what he wanted more then anything. As he started moving, he could instantly feel the weights amplify the forces of gravity that pulled against his body, making simple movements a lot harder.

Trying to start a steady paced jog, it became evident that these were indeed weights that were used solely for punishment, feeling as if he was punished with every step he took. Most people would have gotten enough from walking one lap, though that did not apply to Yoroi. Even if he was a freak of nature, he still had more then enough power inside of him that would keep him from giving up. He had the power of love that he got from his sister, as well as the power of  hatred that was passed down to him by Toshiro as a result of what he had said and done to him. He did not know which of the two was stronger at the moment, knowing only that the two opposite powers gave him all the incentive he needed in order to push further then an ordinary person. Even if he did not have these two insanely powerful forces to drive him, he still had the body of a Kaguya, allowing him to take much more of a beating. This was also a double edged blade in that it would also take much more from him to push his limit, seeing as it was already beyond that of the average human being. Allowing his anger to drive him forward, the young man started moving faster and faster, moving past his regular jogging pace. Feeling the strain on his body, he had to keep himself from strengthening the weaker locations in his body with bone, going against his own instincts.  Saying that running around with weights attached to his body did not hurt even a little would be the biggest lie in the history of lies, for it felt like his legs were going to be torn off of his body if he kept this up. To go against his instincts and the wishes of his body was exactly what he had to do while running. Remaining inside of his comfort zone would not help him one bit, that much was a given. Where his body wanted to reinforce itself, his mind kept the manipulation of bone at bay.

Biting down on his lip, he unleashed a grunt as he brought himself to run faster then he had before, trying to match up to his full speed. It was what one would call a trial and error run, falling over or simply not having enough strength to keep himself on his feet under the pressure. Yoroi did not let it get him down though, rising back up on his feet and continuing the same routine over and over again. As the day started moving closer towards the evening, Yoroi kept running and could truly say that he was gradually getting faster. With the passing of the hours, the amount of pain he experienced seemed to fade slowly, probably due to numbness, though the exact reason for it did not matter to him. Now that the pain was gone, the exercise suddenly became a lot more enjoyable, not to mention that it would be a lot easier to keep going, seeing as there were still many hours left before he could stop. Without a single break, the hours flew past him as the sky started darkening. Taking a break after several hours of tiring exercise, Yoroi finally slowed down and placed himself against the side of the wall. Remaining seated for a good fifteen minutes, he allowed himself to catch his breath and rest his body from the heavy work-out. Feeling his very bones ache, he was certain that there were several fractures that he could feel, though that was something he could deal with quite easily. Once he got back inside of the monastery, he would regenerate his skeletal structure in peace, rather then doing it in a hurry, allowing for mistakes to be made. Taking the weights off, he picked them up and slowly walked back towards the storage room, feeling as if his entire body had just become as light as a feather. There was no doubt in his mind about the fact that he had indeed gotten faster thanks to this brutal training exercise.

Clan Mastery

Tossing the weights back into the storage room, the young white haired man walked back to the room that was given to him. Taking a seat on his bed, he let the damage that had been done to his body flow out as he recuperated. A lot of damage had been done to his skeletal structure due to the weight that had been placed upon it. Luckily for him, the minor amount of damage that had been inflicted on several of his bones was easily fixed. By manipulating his own bone structure, recreating the small hairline fractures was not much of a task at all, he was a Kaguya after all. Closing his eyes, he focused on his legs and let his chakra flow through his skeletal structures, repairing the minuscule fractures that had been created. It took a while, though that did not really matter a whole lot to the young man. It was already dark outside, so there was really nothing left for him to do on this day, which was nice for a change. Normally, the monastery was filled with monks that frowned upon his unnatural body and it’s abilities, not liking it when the young man relied on his Shikotsumyaku to do something for him. A great deal of people frowned upon those with a kekkei genkai, something that became more visible to him after Kimiko had told him about what had happened to her as a result of Toshiro’s sister, who was a fanatical person that did not believe in non-clan humans being with those from clan’s, hating it when a bloodline became diluted with unpure blood.

He hated people who were as short sighted as them, though they probably already knew about how he felt, seeing as the majority of them avoided him entirely, some being kind enough to say hello when others just glared at him like he was a freak, just like Toshiro did. In a way, he wanted people to see those who had a Kekkei Genkai as a valued member of their team, rather than the kind of person who was generally more dangerous for having secret techniques and powers others simply did not have. To some people, his kind would seem dangerous because of the fact that they were born with the kind of power a regular Shinobi could not achieve, though in the end, it was just a minor head start, at least that was what the young man believed. Some clans were feared for the right reasons, for the Kaguya had done very little to prove themselves as valuable allies, rather than murderous barbarians that just wished to fight the next strong enemy, not caring if they went down swinging. Of all the clans, the Kaguya were by far the most versatile and combat oriented clan out there, something Yoroi was very well aware of. It was just that the other people from his village were very well aware of it too, which was what made things so hard for him to deal with.

Kimiko tried explaining that Toshiro in particular had just been angry when he said the things he said to Yoroi, about how he had been a weird person that was strange in every aspect of his being. Yoroi however knew that even if an apology was made, it would not change the way he truly thought about him, the way he felt deep inside. Kimiko would never understand what he meant when he said that he would not forgive people like Toshiro for treating him like a freak of nature, though he would not blame her for it. It was hard to understand what someone went through when they have never gone through it themselves. Tomorrow was going to be the last day Yoroi was going to spend in the monastery, having no time left for vacations. Even though the very concept of vacation did not apply to his time in the monastery, it was the way the village saw it, something Yoroi could not change even if he tried. As such, he would not even bother with them and just continue training in order to surpass himself. For now, all he could do was to just focus on his body and healing it’s internal injuries. Feeling that the small fractures in his bones had healed, he got up from his seated position to walk for a bit, checking if he had sufficiently restored his skeletal structure or if there were still some points that had to be fine tuned before he could continue with his training. Walking down the dark hallway, it seemed that his legs had been healed to the point where they were as good as new again.

As usual, the White Dragon of Konohagakure got over another sustained injury that could keep one from being a Shinobi. When one had the incredible amount of hairline fractures Yoroi did, they risked breaking their legs in several places if they chose to continue training. As a Kaguya, there were no injuries outside of death that could keep him from overcoming it and getting back in the saddle. His Kaguya body was beyond that of mere humans, his regenerative properties being advanced, this being especially true for his bones. Over the years, Yoroi had learned to use his skeletal structure for various purposes, ranging from combat purposes to mere utility uses. At first, all he could create were weapons of bone, most of them being generic blades and small bullet shaped projectiles. This ability had quickly evolved into something much more versatile, something far more dangerous than what he was capable of at first. By now, the creation of simple blades was as simple as blowing his nose or going to bed at night. Having the mastery to even create a skeletal serpent that could actually move around on it's own, form a thick exoskeleton to protect against damage and deal more when fighting with his fists or create defensive constructs to protect himself and his family from harm. Hell, he even used them to protect those that frowned upon him for being an outsider and a Kaguya, showing that he truly wanted what was best for his family and the village.

They would never cease to see him as an abomination, though that was something he would eventually be able to let go of, becoming a stronger person because of it. If they wanted to see him as a freak of nature, he would give them every reason to fear him and the things he could do. They would never see him as a defender or a hero like they did with his sister Kimiko, so the next best thing was to have everyone fear his power. In the village, everyone knew what the White Dragon looked like, knowing that he was the younger brother of the Sennin, Kimiko Katsumi, though very few actually knew the kind of power he controlled, following the rest of the villagers like sheep. Because a few villagers feared his Kaguya background or the fact that he literally came out of nothing and started climbing the ladder in becoming one of the most powerful Shinobi of Konohagakure, the others just followed suit in spreading one rumor after the other about him. As long as they considered Kimiko as a hero, it did not matter if they saw him as something else, having no problem with the fact that people feared him. It allowed him an edge in most situations, besides, no one would even try pulling anything against Kimiko, knowing just how protective he was about her. No one wanted two Kage level Shinobi as enemies, especially not the ones that were as ferocious as the two siblings. Grinning as he walked out of the long hallway, he stepped out into the dark courtyard.

Walkng out into the empty courtyard, there was no one outside anymore. At this time of the day, most of the monks just went inside to have their evening ceremony before heading either to bed or to return to their meditation, waking well rested in the morning. Sleep was not something that worked all too well for Yoroi with all the nightmares he experienced lately, though there was not much to do about that at this point in time. The only useful thing he could do with his time was train to become stronger, rather than try to get to sleep, knowing full well that it was not an option anyway. Letting any thoughts of sleep go for now, he formed a string of hand seals. Creating several clones out of nothingness, bones grew out of his wrist and elbows, creating weaponry to use against the opposing Shinobi he had just created. Fighting against himself was always the best way of training, for there was no one who knew him as well as he did. In an instant, he dashed over to the first clone, turning and attacking it with the spike on his elbow while he made the turn. Parrying his initial strike, bone clashed with bone as Yoroi pushed off and turned away again. Noticing the fluid movement in his opponent, he could tell what attack would come as a counter. With his still elevated hand, Yoroi performed it first, hitting the clone in the chest with five bullets before he too fired, the hit altering the course of the bullets and causing them to fly right past him.

As the clone fell to the ground, it poofed away, leaving nothing but smoke behind. Clever as it was, the other clone had used the destruction of the other as cover, using it’s speed to get behind Yoroi with a bone blade in hand, intending to end the spar. Aiming to slice him across the back, it found something other than flesh, hitting rapidly growing bone that branched out in a multitude of spikes. Making contact with the clone, the weapon was tossed away when multiple bones pierced it, causing it to dissipate into a cloud of smoke. When the technique stopped, it looked like a five meter long tree had grown sideways out of his body. Letting out a deep sigh, the fight had ended much too soon for him to really call it a practice, though he had won without receiving a single scratch. Reverting the bones back to their original form, the tree-like creation was drawn back into his skeletal structure, leaving no signs of the exercise that had just taken place. With the completion of the exercise, he had established that all the damage that had been done to his bones had sufficiently healed, capable of enduring it when Yoroi ran at full speed. There had been times in his life where it was almost impossible to heal the damage sustained by his bones at such a high pace, though he had grown so much in so little time that it was almost silly to compare himself to what he was a few months ago. Even going back one month almost made it look like he had become an entirely new person in terms of sheer power and control over his abilities.

While he was still alone out in the courtyard, there was no longer any need for him to conceal his powers or hold back in fear of breaking his bones and damaging his legs when such a thing could have easily been avoided. Breathing in deeply, he made two bone blades shoot out from his wrists in the blink of an eye, though to do it this fast always came together with a painful itch in the past, something that seemed to have disappeared now that his mastery over his own abilities grew. Performing several of his Genko Kata technique with his bone blades, he furthered his control over the weaponry that was produced by his skeletal structure. Because of him not being a weapons expert, he had to tie his Shikotsumyaku with the use of Taijutsu in order to take his kekkei genkai to it’s peak. Through determination and basic levels of intelligence, he had figured out how to increase the killing potential of his taijutsu by mixing in blades or even armored plates of bone with it. When he needed to punch harder, he would infuse his knuckles with chakra to make them punch through stone. When he needed to kill an opponent by breaking their defenses in close combat, he would force blades of bone from his elbows and wrists to purge his target without them even knowing what hit them until it was already too late. When he had to defend against a blow while also crippling the opposing point of impact, he would create dermal plates of bone. This was the power of the dead bone pulse, the power that had been bestowed upon him by the parents he had never known.

Performing wild acrobatics that seemed like random and somewhat spastic seizures to those who witnessed it from the point of ciew of an outsider, they were in fact highly coordinated strikes that had a tendency of hitting the target that knew not how to avoid his attacks. His Genko kata had been made entirely for the purpose of evading the attacks of his targets with the gracefulness of a serpent while lashing out like a viper. Dashing and maneuvering across the open field, additional blades grew from his elbows and kneecaps, performing the dance of the Willow, or Yanagi no mai while using his Genko kata moves. Another thirty minutes passed by as he kept trying to create new ways to mix taijutsu with the shikotsumyaku. When he felt satisfied with the training he had done on this day, he licked his lips to taste his own sweat. Spitting on the floor, the youth wandered back inside to pack his things so that he could leave in the morning. Making a mental note about having to thank Modoroki for the time he was allowed to spend in the monastery, a lot of his recent growth was thanks to his solitary training, and he owed the Monastery for that. What awaited him was to go back to the village to show just how strong he had become in the time he had been away. People like Kimiko had to know just how strong he had become, while people like Toshiro had to learn to fear his newly gained might.
