This day had been coming for many months now, but it felt like it was time to finally bite the bullet. Akira Tenshi was going to leave the grass country. Not for good, but only as long as he could see fit. He was going to go to the Hot Springs Country then Rice Field Country. There was no particular reason for heading to the first apart from the fact he wanted to take a dip in the world renowned pools. It was all very exciting and now because of it he was going to be able cross two more places of his list. He was to head to the Rice Fields as he was going to be looking for work there. He had heard in places that there were two possible jobs for a Nukenin. It would be a great way to get national infamy. Whereas he wanted to go to the Hot Springs country because it would be an interesting place to go. That and he wanted to take a dip in the hot water. And who knows, he might even meet some new people. Maybe even a woman or two.

All of his equipment had already been stored in their scrolls. Now it was time to pack enough food for his journey. It was not going to be that long so he would be able to pack relatively light. Having already ‘stocked up’ on tinned food, fresh fruit and vegetables, orange juice and beer. All of which was packed into a bag. He would be able to re-stock his supplies when he got to the Hot Springs. Hopefully this whole trip would not be in vain, after all he was going on it just on a whisper that he had heard. Still, even if there was nothing to be found it would still be a great experience for the guy. He was excited to have this opportunity but now it was time to focus. Picking up his bag with scrolls, clothes and food in he moved the rock in the way of his hideout. There was now no visible signs that anyone was living in this area of the woods. It was unlikely that anyone would come to this clearing but just incase he had taken some security measures. Booby trapping some of the area with explosives and kunai. After slinging the massive scroll over his back the boy set off.

It was a warm day, but still Tenshi wore the cloak hummingbird around his figure. Apart from that his dress was minimal, his flak jacket was all that covered his torso and shinobi trousers and sandals covered his legs and feet. Making his way through the bamboo forest he began to sing softly to himself. It was his aim to reach the border of the hot springs by midnight. This would mean that he had to run some of the way, which would be easier given his new sprinting ability. Having set off at ten in the morning he would be traveling for fourteen hours. not the most relaxing day ever but hopefully he would be able to reach the border in time. It would be the first time in many months that he had strayed from the Grass Country. But now he had left the cover of the shoots. Now the large expanses of grass that this most beautiful of lands were known for were at his feet. Obviously the scroll and bag over his back were going to slow him down but still he broke into a jog. From a distance he must have looked rather strange. A great lumbering man with a deformed back.

It took him an hour to reach the edge of his current home Country. He had ran the whole way and with the two heavy objects on his back and now he was exhausted. As there was no direct route from the Grass to the Hot springs he would have to walk along the borders of a few of the minor nations. But having looked over a map it would not actually take as long as many people would think. It was currently half past eleven so he had many hours. Still if he wished to get to the Land of Hot Springs in time he would have to be as swift as possible.
