Yet another order had come through for Akira Tenshi. This one was a bit less extreme than his last two, it still required death, not as much as the other two. However this one promised money and a lot of it. For this mission he would have to be more ruthless than ever before. It required him to kill a man of roughly his own age and his lover. Most likely they would have a guard with them, but he would not be with them. But Tenshi was a clever boy so he was sure that he could work out who he was. Taking place in a grand resteraunt in the heart of the main town that he was residing in. Since they were having lunch in there he would have to get there at around mid day and wait it out. Which would be unfortunate but this mission guaranteed pay, unlike the other one. Two hundred ryo up front and three hundred after completion. A fair haul for a mission that promised to be easier that all the others. All he had to do was hit them both with an arrow before they could be alerted to his presence.

It was currently nine in the morning, he had been up for an hour now as some loud children had awoken him. But in this hour he had done nothing apart from eat. The previous day he had gone into town and purchased enough food for two days. Which was how long he planned to stay in this country. He had made up his mind on which country to visit next. The Water Country, he was aware that there were shinobi there but he would stay well away from them. It would mean that he could sail for a while longer and he could explore some of the islands. If he could stay away from the village he would be safe. Only problem was that he did not know which island it was on. Maybe he could meet another rogue shinobi on the island and maybe they could teach him a summoning jutsu. Also there would be a chance that he could get some new weapons or get a mission. Hopefully this would mean that he could assassinate a feudal lord or another powerful figure. This would be the quickest way of gaining notoriety. If he got offered this opportunity he would take it.

Another method of killing these two young lovers came into his head. If it was a posh restaurant he could dress up as one of the waiters and kill them both. That would be a lot more fun than using a bow from long range. It would also give him a chance to possibly take some money, it was a win win situation. For this he would have to wear his best clothes and find a place to conceal Ryu Ejji. Or he could use the Demon Blade and execute them both. That would be a lot harder to hide though so he would have to settle for the smaller of the two blades. One day he hoped to get a weapon that was easily concealable like a blade that you would wear on you wrist. This would be perfect for assassinations, hopefully he would be able to find something of this description when he visited Kiri. If he had it now this whole mission would be so much easier. Still there was no point in worrying over something you do not have. Even with out this weapon there was no doubt that it would run smoothly.

He got up from his bed and padded around the room, collecting all the clothes that he would need for the day. Deciding that as soon as this was finished he would be leaving the Moon Country straight away. It was probably best for both his safety and pleasure. He could not wait to go to the Water Country it was going to be so exciting. It would be one of the first times that he had gone to a major nation in a long time. The last one being the Fire. Since this one was a collection of islands he would hopefully visit them all. This would give him a chance to go on many boat trips. Maybe he would be able to sail one sometime. If he pulled a couple of strings there was no doubt that he could have a go. As soon as he had got this done he would accept the payment and leave, it would be that simple. All he had to do now was make it out of there quick enough to catch the next boat out of there. Then he would be away to go to the collection of islands known as the Land of Water.

Once he was changed into his formal clothes he slid his dagger behind his back into the belt loop. He would go in, pretend to be a waiter, stab them both in the back. It was a faultless plan, now it had to be put into action. Once he was fully ready he picked up his keys and ran through the plan once more. Reaching the conclusion that he would wait outside until they went in, then he would go around the back and get to them first. Upon taking their order he would deliver it and kill them at the same time. Unlocking the door he stepped out onto the landing and went down to the building’s reception. From there he pocketed the keys and went out of the main exit to the building. Hopefully it would not take him too long to get to the restaurant. Even then there was a chance that he would have to wait for the couple. It would be best if he waited on the opposite side of the road and wait until they got there. That way he could be sure that he would not get seen.

Pacing through the streets Tenshi started to think. What if he managed to find the Village hidden in Mist? Maybe if he did he would be able to break in and steal their secret jutsu. If he did this then all manner of people would want to hire him. He could sell it to the other countries of the world for millions. Or he could just steal it and try and learn water techniques. But if he was going to do this he would rather do it to his home country. Maybe he would do that someday, it would certainly give him many opportunities. Also it would add greatly to the bounty on his head. Overall he would benefit greatly from doing something like that. So one day that was what he would do, when he was a greater rank. As well as those perhaps he would get the chance to destroy some of the village monuments. Causing havoc in Kumogakure would be another thing that he hoped to do one day.

It took him a further fifteen minutes to get to the outside of the restaurant. He took a quick glance through the window to see if the couple were there. A picture of the man had been sent in the letter that he had received telling him about the contract. Neither man nor girlfriend were in the room, so the stakeout began. For all he knew he would be there for an hour, they might be going for a late lunch and he would be there for two hours. If they did he would be mad and their death would be painful and bloody. The best way to get a good view of the land would be to get up high. That way he would be able to see them coming from a distance. From there he would be able to get down quickly, sneak around the back and get ready to serve them.

While perched a top the roof he began to think more about his plans for the coming years. He did this a lot, not that many of them ever came true. He would have to get the summoning, blowpipe and wrist blade but what else? It would be useful to get another sword, one that was more powerful than all of his others put together. A long sword, something that could bring about the destruction of kages. Maybe he could get a different bow, something that was his own. Not any old generic long ranged weapons. He could also possibly get a crossbow. This would be a fine weapon to get, especially for taking out a single target quickly. Sometime soon he would invest in these weapons. As well as this he hoped to learn Genjutsu. This would help him in so many ways. But once again this was an example of a wish that would never come true.

It was an hour before the couple finally arrived. When they did it was in a rather small carriage. Not the full royal treatment like he had been expecting. They were accompanied by one guard who did not look particularly hand. After taking mental pictures of what he looked like for later Tenshi started to climb down the building. He had to make sure that he was not spotted so he took the long way around. From there he sprinted full pelt around the side of the building and got into the kitchens. There were so many staff they probably would not recognise one more. Picking up a drying napkin he draped it over his left arm. On his way passed the main table he picked up two menus and headed out into the room. Rushing over where the two lovers were waiting he introduced himself. ”Hello, my name is... Kabuto and I will be your waiter this afternoon. Will this table be sufficient.” Gesturing to a table in the corner of the room. It would be important to take them away from the others so people would not notice their death. Their body guard pretended to not be with them and took the table four down from them.

Once he had taken their orders he returned to the kitchen and out them forward. If he appeared not to be doing anything then they would get suspicious and probably realise that he did not in fact work there. He could not let anyone take through the orders because otherwise he would miss one of his best chances to kill them. So he hung near the place where the food was put and washed up some dishes. It was a very boring job to be doing but it meant that he could collect their food quickly. So he started to wash up, not talking or making eye contact with anyone.

While he washed many people came and went. He knew that he should have packed to leave before coming out on this mission. That way he would have been able to leave straight away. Unfortunately that meant that he added on extra time when he could be doing better things. It would be a shame to say good by to this place, it had been good to him over the short time that he had spent. In the near future he was sure that he would return. In that time he would see more of the beautiful island. Like the temples, these were said to be some of the most beautiful structures ever built. Apparently they were perfect places to meditate which would be perfect for Tenshi. But his next place to visit would be the main group of islands in the sea. He was unaware of what any of them were like, so hopefully he would not be disappointed. Maybe he would be able to find a replacement place to live instead of the Grass Country. But in order for this to happen he would have to find a place equally secure and somewhere he loved.

Time passed until the orders were finally ready. He picked them up, swallowed and left the room. Upon his delivery he placed the food in front of the two and got ready. It was perfect conditions, everyone was distracted by their own food and there was a low rumble of voices. No one would notice if these to died in their seats. Apart from one, the body guard was staring right at him. He would have to take them him out before the others. Otherwise he would raise the alarm and there would be no way out. If the man left to go to the toilet Tenshi would follow him and slit his throat. Or perhaps he would be able to bring him something and kill him then. As soon as he had finished serving the two before him he would return to the kitchen. From there he would get a bottle of wine and claim that the man had ordered it. From there he would die a quick death. These two love birds were too enthralled with each other to notice anything else. It made the Nukenin feel ill. Neither of them would consider that the body guard was dead because they would not even see. If this was the case these to would live to see their final course.

Heading straight for the kitchens Tenshi ignored the stuck up old woman trying to get his attention. There was no time to tend to anyone else than was required. From there he ordered a bottle of wine, the person behind the counter did not even stop to look at him. Too tired to check, more like a mindless zombie than a human. It came in a fraction of a time the food had. Picking up the ice bucket he headed back into the room. With his left hand holding the container his right curled around the handle of his blade. He would have to strike in a place that would not cause mess but would also be fatal. But then he noticed something that could be used to his advantage. The man had taken off his jacket and draped it over the back of his chair. He could sever the brachial artery which was found in the shoulder then put his jacket over the wound, using his hand to stifle the scream. ”Sir, this is on the house because of you order.” Tenshi said, putting on his poshest voice. After the man thanked him he walked behind him and did the deed. It was over in seconds. He put up little resistance, but men rarely did when their life is draining away. As soon as his had was over the man’s mouth he had stabbed. It was an effective method of death. Now all he had to do was slip the jacket on the man’s shoulders and leave. One hundred percent effective.

Stage one had been done, now for the main part, the part he was getting payed for. Unfortunately he would now have to wait for as long as it took for them to finish eating. Casting a quick glance back to them he saw that they were both half finished which was good. Checking himself for blood splatters the man was please not to find any. Even if he did he could say it was wine or juice from the meat. Making his way back to the kitchens he decided to carry on helping around. It would be better than doing nothing. It would be boring to just stand around not doing anything. On top of this he would probably be confronted. Once the couple were finally finished he rushed back outside to get their plates. Once these were aback in the kitchens he came over to them with dessert menus. Now was his chance, finally he could get this done and get on with his journey. It all came down to this, he had better not mess up now.

Once he was over at their table he began. ”Hello, I hope you enjoyed you lunch, can I interest you in the dessert menu?” He handed one to each of them, walked behind the man. Drawing out his dagger he put it to his throat. ”Don’t cry out or I kill him, i trust you do not want to die? Put everything you have of value on the table and you have nothing to fear.” Both of them proceeded to put rings, necklaces and wallets on the table. ”Much obliged.” He said as he covered the mouth of the male and drew the blade across his throat. At the sight of his blood the woman passed out. It was not easier to kill her. Walking around to the opposite side he did the same. They would be together for ever now, like lovers in a famous tale. Now it was time for the Nukenin to leave.

Gathering up all their riches he pocketed them and put his napkin on the table. As soon as one person noticed this tragic scene everyone would. It would look strange to anyone that saw it. Especially since they both had open necks. Turning around swiftly he headed for the kitchens for the last time that day. Once he was in there he quickly rinsed off his hands a small trickle of red water gurgled down the drain. Checking himself for a second time he noticed a few red flecks on his sleeves, so he undid the buttons and rolled them up. It would be even worse, stepping out into the back alley he look around. He could not be seen leaving past the front entrance that would only seem more suspicious. So he turned left to face a high wall with a few bins in front of it. Breaking into a sprint he jumped onto the bin and used this as a platform to get onto the wall. Then he ran a long it and got up on to the building along from it. He would have to do this for a could more buildings until he felt it was safe to get down.

When he finally did it was past six more buildings. It had been easy to scale each and every one of these, as they were relatively low from the ground. Dropping down he headed off in the direction of his inn. From there he would have to pack and leave as quickly as possible. With the money he had just acquired he would be able to find a boat that would take him to the Water Country. The port in this town was different to the port that he had previously arrived in. But this was the one where he would leave. It would be quicker and there was not necessarily a boat leaving to his destination in that village. Earlier, when he had gone down to the port he had seen that there as one leaving sometime that day. He did not know if he had missed it or it was far later on. But he would try and get there as quickly as possible just incase he missed the time. Now all the Nukenin had to do was get back to the inn as soon as possible. Once he was there he would pack and leave through the window.

Once the door of his room was open he rushed in. He left the key in the lock so someone could come by and pick it up. This way he would not have to pay and he could just leave through the window. He set about gathering up all of his clothes and storing some of them in his bag. Once this had been done he went over to the fridge and took out that was left. Not much, a few bottles of beer and a half finished carton of orange juice. Draining his juice he put the bottles in his bag. All of his weapons were already stored, apart from his dagger but he would often carry this on his person. Changing out of his suit he dressed in his shinobi attire. This would be best for the ride, only because he did not feel like wearing any boring casuals. Sliding Ryu Ejji in his bag he went over to where his books were resting. Picking them all up he stacked each one in the bag’s side. It had been an enjoyable stay in the Moon Country but now he had to go. Swinging out of the window with his pack and scroll Tenshi left for the port.
