After much consideration and the approval of my council, I write to you this letter. It is a request for two distinct titles that I, after much examination, have deduced are in your power to grant.

The first title is one most coveted by the masses and sought after by even the most fearsome of foes. It is a noble's title, one which will place me in the family of the red eyes. They are known throughout their lands as fearsome and deviant foes, and I would take great joy in joining their ranks.

My other titular request is for a less coveted title, but nevertheless an important one. I wish to join the ranks of the military as an officer. The position does not require me to be of high rank, but merely one that will separate me from the peasants who serve for nothing more than greed.

I would be most pleased if both titles were granted to me, but I understand that your excellence may be weary of handing a stranger such power. Do not fret, I am prepared to offer my servitude and prove my worth in whichever ways are required of me. My allegiance is steadfast and unwavering, as is my duty to this nation. Please consider my request with great judgement.
