| Totally missed this topic when I was on break, but was wondering what the heck that popup was. Glad to see I'm not alone.
...though I suspect it'll be a damned pain to get rid of. |

| Not sure why I'm so bloody amazing, but I've still yet to receive this pop up. Is this still a problem for anyone or has it stopped popping up?

| Still getting it. Less common though. I last had it turn up when I had the member list page up. |

| Can I solve this now? I personally haven't gotten the popup for like a month. |

| When I first joined the forum I used to get it every time I changed to a new topic and every time I visited the index. Everytime. However the more time I spent on the forum it usually only pops up every once in a while for me; especially in topics I have never visited before. So it's less frequent for me now but I still occasionally see it. |

| I used to get this same thing when I was visiting this site on TOR a while back. I think it's either an IP issue (varied based on your location) or a browser issue. When I use the site on Chrome have never gotten the pop-up.
After doing about five minutes worth of googling, it appears that Tesco Tech Central is registered to 1&1 Internet Inc., which is a web hosting company. Tesco is also a very popular grocery store in England, which leads me to believe that their tech support website is being hosted by 1&1. Why you're getting these pop-ups on forumotion is beyond me (Maybe Tesco owns forumotion?). Either way, this means one of two things: This website is being hosted by 1&1, or this website address (ultimateshinobi.org) is registered through 1&1. The latter would make the most sense, since forumotion doesn't have the authority to create its own domain names, and would probably have to go through a third party provider (1&1 in this case).
Knowing this won't solve the problem, but at least we know it's not someone trying to phish your passwords. Unless a grocery store company is in cahoots with internet hackers, but that's a conspiracy for another day. Anyway, I recommend the Admins bring this issue up with Forumotion staff, since they're really the only ones with the power to fix it. |

| I never get it, as having AdBlock installed to Chrome blocks pop-ups, but whenever I use another computer that Adblock is not installed on the browser, I also get the pop-up. What Enzo suggested may prove to be the solution to this issue. |

| It's not that kind of popup, I have Adblock on firefox and still get it on occasion, but as I said, never on chrome. |

| I don't think it's really that form of pop up, I'm using Safari and it comes up as an application notification as opposed to just a new web window, like it's part of the browser. I had ad block as well and it's not stopping it so I'm not sure they're related. Haven't tried it on any other browsers myself. |

It probably is something to do with the browser as Safari is all I use and I get it a lot. |

| Given that there is really nothing that can be done about this, to any of our knowledge, I am just going to sneak it into the solved section.
