Attack On Titan Game Server

Alright, so I don't know how many of you have watched Attack On Titan, but it's an awesome anime with amazing fight animation and a good storyline. For those of you who have not watched the anime, however, fear not, this can still apply to you! Recently, I started getting into the Attack On Titan game, only to quickly realize that it is nearly impossible without teammates, unless you're an established computer nerd/gamer. I am not one of those. Point is, I think it would be fun to host a server on the game every now-and-again and have a couple more players. Please note, however, that a program called Hamachi will be required in order to play the game on multiplayer. It is a small program, no viruses, does not take up much space on your computer at all, easy to navigate. It's also a very fast download/install.

However, we'd all have to be online at the same time in order to play the game. It's easiest to track who is and is not online by their skype. If you want to be a part of this gaming group, and you have a skype, please post here. It would be fun, no?

P.S: Some computers, mainly older ones, have to install "Unity" in order to play the game in the first place (a program you'll see in the link to the game, in place of the game itself until installed). Once again, it's another virus free installation that comes at no harm nor risk to the computer, and takes up almost no space. Furthermore, like Hamachi, it's a fast download that lets you play the game. Totally worth it.

I find it's fun. Yes it is difficult. Doable... I did get the hamachi download.

3rd person hack&slash. You spawn in an area full of giant humanoids called "Titans". With a pair of swords you gotta climb up these sons o' bitches and kill 'em. Each charry is equipped with a pair of grapple cables to get around easier and help them fight. Check out the anime and you'll really understand.

I've gotten pretty good now, actually. I sucked in the beginning, but I think there's a natural learning curve to it. If you dont get it at first, it kinda comes to you later. You just have to know all of the tricks. There are certain ways to kill titans that you'll just figure out with various amounts of game experience. For example, to kill a normal titan, run in front of its feet, and jump while hitting [shift] in order to speed away, right as they jump. Then, turn around and hook them in the back, jump, and cut their necks while they're stunned from the jump; it's a good strategy for taking them out when there are about 1-4. Any more than that and things get crowded. And that's just on the easy setting, which is the most fun to play it on unless you have a group of experienced titan slayers. Rawr.

This game has been updated quite a bit since November. Two boss scenarios have been added fighting the female and colossal titan's. I believe Petra and Sasha have been added since then as well. There is even a new gameplay mechanic that lets you use the scroll wheel to quickly pull in your hooks(so long as you're moving fast enough AWAY from the hooks impact point).

I understand if people are tired of the game even with these updates, but if anyone else is still playing let me know. I can kill titans for hours and not get bored.

IRL, I just finished a game design contract at the end of december and I've been unemployed since so I'm usually online all day. But I'm leaving to go wwoofing by then end of this month(hopefully). Once I do leave, my internet access will drop significantly.

But that leaves two weeks before I venture into the world of organic farming. If you see me on skype and want to play just drop a message.
