| Hey! Obviously I am new and stopping by to introduce myself. I'm OccupiedLocket but I don't really go by anything. I have been RPing for a few good years now (admitting it has been a bit over a year since I did it last) and I can't wait to let my imagination go.
So I have read the rules and cruised around the site for a few hours but I think I read too much all in one sitting. I am not sure on whether I make the character first then choose/make a clan or what. I want to try my hand at creating one but I think I may need a guiding hand to push me in the right direction. |

| Hello OccupiedLocket! Welcome to Ultimate Shinobi. Thank you for dropping by to introduce yourself. I would recommend choosing/making a clan first (if it's a custom one) before your character. However, if you're planning on joining a canon clan, then just link the clan's topic into your character's application under the correct subheading. If you need any help, do not hesitate to PM me or another member of staff! |

Just some advice from a not-so-outstanding RPer: don't read all the rules at once. I got digital brain freeze from doing so. Just read them at your leisure; they can be daunting, if you don't.

I agree that you should take your time to reading the rules, instead of attempting to do it all in one go. That way, you can better absorb all of them and avoid issues in the future.
