| Normally I ignore what I feel on my feet because I assume it's my dog, today was no exception. Although when I looked down, there was no dog. :<
Instead I shook my feet frantically because I felt movement on them still, only to see a Huntsman dash for my door shortly after. A fully grown and extremely fast one I might add.
Picture for reference: http://largestfastestsmartest.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/huntsman.jpg
I sprayed it with poison, hopefully it's dead now buuut I can't find its body. Just wanted to share this with you all encase at least a few of you can become paranoid of what's beneath your desk. :> |

| I hope you can't sleep at night with what you have done.

| If I saw its dead body I'd be able to sleep easier, definitely. Thank you for the concern Satan. |

| Meh, could have been worse, though I'm not a big fan of spiders so I hope you are able to sleep better. |

| The benefits of living in an extremely hot house with two open air vents in the roof and multiple cracks in the walls... Please save me John. |

| I would but... I hate spiders. I'd be sleeping with one eye open and a baseball bat in hand if I were you hahaha. |

| I actually encountered another larger spider about 20 minutes after the first. Not sure if it was a huntsman, it looked a little thicker in the body section and had a wider leg span. It was at the front door when mum and I were planning to go to the petrol station and pick up some noms. I smacked it with my Bokken and now I am keeping it beside me everywhere I go, the spiders shall be overcome. |

| This is the worst thread that has ever been posted on this site, I'm tempted to permanently ban you for posting pictures of spiders.
Fuck this gay Earth. |

As someone who once trained a wild lizard to stay on his shoulder via water torture, I approve this method of arachnid subjugation.

True dat, same here in Holland. I do have some spiders in my room to kill bugs and to occasionally eat one in my sleep. Just love that crunchy taste. |

| When I first went away into the big world, and saw insects for the first time... my mind was blown. And when I went to Belgium and in my room there was a spider bigger than my hand.... well.. that spider got blown with a phone book.
WHAT IS WITH THE SIZES OF INSECTS EVERYWHERE? |

| In my country of nationality, my family and I used to live in my grandparents' house, which was predictably an old one. We had daily visitors there in the form of giant-ass cockroaches, lizards, and the occasional mouse in the bathtub. Woe be to the person who chose to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I once found a roach on a plate I'd left beside my bed. Bloody thing just snuck up while I was reading a book to clean the plate.
On the plus side, it was a family bonding moment when one of the intruders was spotted. Ah, the memories of my grandfather throwing a shoe at a lizard on a wall, and severing its tail as a result... Or that family of mice my mother found in the tub one night... Or that cockroach that climbed onto my hand when I was looking for a broom in a dark closet...
To this day, I still get the willies whenever I see a cockroach. Other insects, not to so much. Roaches? Ugh.
Oh. And the mosquitoes. The pesky, God-damned mosquitoes. |
