| KOHATSU, SHINTHE INFO. Name: Shin Kohatsu Nickname: Shinshi Age: 27 Gender: Male Appearance:
Head
From the neck up, Shin's rather bobble-y head is covered in the worst of unkempt hair, the majority of it obscuring his eyes, though somehow never really intruding on his view. How ever wide his light brown, almost gold eyes are, his gaze still gives off the feeling that he's wise beyond his years. This happens to sometimes make others uncomfortable when he looks too long in their direction. And though he isn't usually, the partially deep circles under his eyes make him seem tired at first glance. Even when away from home or abroad he still manages to find a plant to gnaw on while walking or giving general instructions. Not to be interrupted by his chewing, the slightest of carefree smiles shows almost always when he's around people he enjoys or even strangers, however in serious situations he snaps out of this and immediately show a more fierce and unyielding expression.
Body:
Being an approx. height of 6'3", Shin is generally taller than whoever happens to be speaking to him. Since he is so particularly tall, his weight of near 210lbs is well distributed throughout his build. With overall gangly body proportions, Shin is the definition of tall and lanky. It's a wonder that he doesn't blow away. However, despite his weight, the peak condition of Shin's muscles, from years of training, have given his a solid frame. Though the village norm is those of darker skin colors, Shin being a relative outsider, has a light complexion that has been tanned throughout years of travel. Barely under the surface of said skin, the hardened muscle creates a silhouette not unlike a well carved marble statue.
Upper Body (Clothing):
Not one to be flashy or present himself with too much burden. Shin's attire is fairly simple, consisting of a quite plain dark grey t-shirt, black wrist bands on both hands that hide away his seals, and the sheath of his baton that is secured tightly over his left shoulder. On occasion he is known to wear a few necklaces collected over his years of travel to monasteries, temples, and assorted villages. For his more formal outings, of which he has few, he dons a near black, grey travelling cloak that gives the impression that he is aloof to all the traditional customs surrounding clothing.
Lower Body (Clothing)
Only owning a single pair of pants, Shin isn't one to change very often. However, these particular pants are an object of sentimentality. Gained after helping an old farm hands wife through a difficult situation, the modest, black pants that go down to just about his shins were hand stitched from the finest quality materials of that particular region. Being as such and made specifically for him and his rambunctious nature, the pants were crafted to be both comfortable and surprisingly durable. Underneath these and extending to about his knees, Shin wears sturdy, black socks that hold a surprising secret. Along the bottoms of these socks, hidden between layers of fabric, a thin fitted piece of metal contours the lines of his feet. This aversion to wearing shoes or traditional sandals, comes from a desire to increase his awareness in his steps and kicks. Shin prefers to feel as natural as possible when moving about.
Forehead Protector:
Wearing his headband as a belt, Shin's Kumogakure symbol bounces along behind his as it lays across his backside.
Personality:
Although he is closer to 30 than he is to 20, Shin maintains both his youthful appearance and a rather immature nature. Joking, goofy, and all around playful, he is always one for having a friendly chat or a thrilling spar. Though he isn't very serious at times, he happens to know almost exactly what it is he and his students should be doing, learning, and pursuing. Fairly late to most engagements, Shin is known to apologize profusely, but he is not one to make excuses. This philosophy extends to his teachings, where he very sparingly accepts excuses. He is also known to assign extra workouts and drills to those that happen to disregard these values. Those he cares for get the full benefit of someone that will go to any lengths for them, and those who aren't so lucky can break down his usual visage and reveal his deeper side. Once its time to get down to business, its like a flip switching. Focused and nearly ferocious when he's serious, Shin takes any task at hand and finishes it as quickly and precisely as possible. In life or death situations, though, he would rather fails a hundred times than leave a comrade behind; however, the survival rate of his teams have always been fairly positive.
On a lighter note, Shin is virtually addicted to food. It is not uncommon to see him munch on chips, cookies, dango, onigiri, or any number of other finger foods. However, due to his steadily active lifestyle and his daily training, he somehow manages to not gain a pound. Though it is hated by nearly everyone he does it to, Shin is notorious for casually approaching his subordinates, and junior colleagues and tapping them with light to medium force using the backs of his knuckles. It has become so commonplace that he often does it without even thinking or realizing, the affectionately named "monkey paw" is now as natural as breathing for Shin. The fact that it annoys those around him, only makes it more enjoyable for unkempt jounin. The only way out of this particular hell is for Shin to finally see someone as an equal, whether through their graduation or them proving themselves, however such a thing is rare. It should be noted that whoever he happens to have a crush on, is immune to such treatment.
Feeling a particularly strong wanderlust, one would expect Shin to not be complacent in any one area for too long. This is countered, surprisingly, by a strange loyalty to Kumo that came about during a prior visit. One of the rules he learned over his many travels was to always repay debts and that's something that he strives to exemplify.

"There is no greater sensei . . . than the world? I don't know"
THE NINJA. Origin: Land Of Lightning
Affiliation: Kumogakure
Rank: B
Specialities: Taijutsu, Ninjutsu
Elemental Affinities: Wind
Combat Style:
Learning from a very early age and from a great many masters, Shin has reached near mastery over his taijutsu abilities, knowing a multitude of different styles and techniques that allow him to adapt to nearly any and every combat situation. This has lead to him developing fighting structures that he hopes to only improve on. Evasiveness, quick, hard strikes, and powerful, bruising kicks are the basic MO, with avoiding taking hits and withstanding attacks being the primary focus. Through immense amounts of training, Shin has hardened his muscles so that the majority of hits landed against him can be taken in stride without devastating damage being taken. With a rather taunting nature when not in very serious fights, Shin will evade and laugh his way into making his opponent frustrated and flustered. When they get into this state, that's when he strikes. Throwing punching that have the ability to break bone and kicks that can shatter defenses.
Perhaps his most impressive fighting style that he has collected is that of his open palm techniques. Early on in his training, Shin adopted a fighting style similar to Baguazhang. The movements employ the whole body with smooth coiling and uncoiling actions, utilizing hand techniques, dynamic footwork, and throws. Rapid-fire movements draw energy from the center of the abdomen, making this particular style dynamic and unique. Over years of learning, he has the knowledge of the weakest parts of most organs, vital and non-vital, so moving in close for strikes happen within an instant but deal incredible force and damage. Using the fuinjutsu seals underneath his wristbands, among others, Shin uses stored wind techniques to create a small vortex of air whenever he connects with a target, creating the option of either landing brutal and impactful hits, or using near invisible wind blades inside the storm to lacerated whatever part he happens to touch.

THE BACKGROUND. History:
- Spoiler:
As a young child, Shin spent his days running the lush and vast fields of his parents farm with his older brother. While he was the younger of the two, he was by far the more developed, his body already stretching out in lanky, light weight limbs, however he was also far stronger than his brother, and as such he shouldered the responsibility of half the farm work, along with his father. The outskirts village he grew up in wasn't technically a very large one, the community had most amenities of hidden villages, post offices, a hospital, even their own gambling parlors, but they didnt have an academy. Instead, they were comprised of about four or five clans that policed the countryside, working together as a type of local government. Most clans chose the strongest and brightest to be elected as leaders and they determined the trade routes, imports, exports and the like together. The Kohatsu however had their own way of choosing who would represent the clan and the farm lands. Since the beginning of their family, the first borns took the reigns and the second born and subsequent children grew up alongside them and became their siblings caretaker and minded their house. It was a fate that most were not unused to, but one that many had grown out of through the generations, this was not the case for the Kohatsu however. It was instilled in all the youth of the family that such a fate was the case from a very very young age, and even injuring or badly beating ones older sibling in a contest was a steep offense. Shin had always disagreed with this philosophy though. Seeing and noticing how much bigger and stronger he was compared to his brother, he grew into a large mass of arrogance from nearly day one, thinking how could such a meager child every have the power to lead their branch. Such cockiness was a proven side effect of their ways, and Shin's family knew this so they took his brash disregard for the rules as merely a boys thirst for rebellion. After years of competing over and over with his brother, and mostly winning their engagements every time, the time came for the older to be placed in charge of the clans decisions, and their farmlands. The latter is probably what threw Shin into a rage more than anything else. His brother, who was now a wimpy thirteen while he stood at a taught and fit eleven, had not worked a day on the farms in his life. He knew neither how to get the cows to graze nor the corn to grow and he would soon be in charge of everything Shin had nurses from birth and seed? He couldn't stand for it. Storming in to meet his father, Shin aired his complaints, explaining and reasoning with his father to abandon the old ways, showing that he was the more worth and better fit leader for the clan. Had he not worked to the bone for the farms benefit, had he not brought them to their current prosperity? His brother was as inane with those decisions as he was at his terrible choices of games to challenge Shin in. It had to be different this time. And while he father agreed that he was far and away the better choice between the two, it couldn't be done. It would not be his generation that broke the tradition, no matter how bad the choice may be. It was there that he gave Shin the ultimatum, either he stay and serve his brother to the best of his abilities or he was to be banished from the family, disgraced, and with no knowledge of the outside world, except how to tend to cattle, and seed a farm. Of course he knew the easier route, the simple way; stay on the farm and attempt to help his brother, but he couldn't bring himself to do it, couldn't wrap his head around the thought if his crops withering from lack of work and watching as his clan suffered the consequences. And so, with a heavy heart, and his things slumped in a bag over his shoulder, Shin took off, hoping to find a place in the world.
On his own at eleven years old was, admittedly, not the best situation, but Shin made the best of it. Being taller than most people his age, he had no shortage of work though, mostly on farms, pulling weeds, plowing fields, and the like. However, it wasn't until he found the town of Yongway that he really found a place of acceptance, though it didn't come without some struggle. Upon first walking into the small cottage-laced town that was one of many that littered the outskirts of the Land Of Lightning, after traveling for a bout a week or so, a mass hysteria of yells and screams could be heard throughout the air. Knowing only a spare bit of fighting techniques from his times at home messing with his brother, Shin couldn't help but rush to the aid of whoever was in trouble. Running towards the sound of the scene, he discovered that what appeared to be a group of bandits raiding through the peaceful cottages, pillaging what they could and destroying the rest. Immediately he ran to one that appeared to be hanging into a window, attempting to grab a poor woman and her child, by the sound of the screams. Going full speed before jumping, Shin launched himself through the air, throwing a surprisingly power kick into the side of the bandits stomach and sending him flying a good measure back. Looking into the window to see a crying mother thanking he, he was welded with pride as he smiled at them, but this quickly changed when a fist came and slammed into the young boys face, sending him to the ground. For whatever reason, he had forgotten that when you hit people they tend to hit back. Luckily, his adrenaline had been pumping ever since he ran in, so the hit didn't hurt him too badly just yet, and he shot to his feet to see that the bandit had grabbed a partner to aid in punishing him. As both of them rushed in, Shin froze with shock, but as they both through kicks he instantly knew to duck, making both of the kicks connect with the people that had thrown them. Rolling forward as he ducked, Shin popped back up behind the two bandits that were now bitching at each other rather loudly. "That the best you got!" He exclaimed, causing the heads of the two to snap back to look at him, his large smile turning to a grimace as he turned and started running. At the very least he knew he could outrun the two for a bit, and hopefully find a place to hide, but just as he got a good length ahead, the bandits flew by him, backs first, on either side of him. Twisting back as he slowed his pace, he saw who had sent them blasting past him to see a rather small man, about his size or a bit taller, with two outstretched palms, the dust that was kicked up from the ground still spinning in small cyclones around his hands.
This man, he would later learn was Pan, was an outcast former member of a temple not far from the town that had settle here in order to protect the people that had taken him in. After that faithful day when Shin arrived in town, Pan was impressed that even without much training, the young boy was willing to stand up to the bandits, if only for a moment. Though he seemed older at the time, Pan couldn't have been much older than Shin himself, but he was much more experienced, and after a long talk about how he had left his home, Pan decided to take Shin under his wing and teach him the ways of the temple's fighting style. Over the course of about five years, Shin practiced daily in the art of palm techniques, learning how to pool and send small bursts of chakra blasting from his hand at the moment of impact to make his blows more powerful than your average hits. In payment for his training, and with his knowledge of all things rural, Shin continued his usual amount of far works, however with weights clasped to his ankles and wrist by his master. With these, every action he performed had an increased level of difficulty added to it, so even when he wasn't training, every field he plowed, every bag he lifted and every chicken he ran after built his muscles under the weight. About 5 month or so, just time for him to get used to the weight, Pan would exchange his weights for heavier ones, continually building his strength a little bit every time. With this added measure, his palm strikes, even without the push of chakra, became significantly stronger than a normal person's punch. Sooner than later, his strikes were powerful enough to completely blast apart the straw men they were practicing with, which necessitated a more difficult target. About two years into his training, Master Pan began using not only multiple enemies, but ones that we made of large pillars of salt. Using some strange ninja art, one he said was from his home clan's, Pan was able to enchant the pillars and the straw men to move independently, weaving in and out of each other to attack Shin the way a normal opponent would, albeit without the benefit of arms. This could possibly be his most advantageous training yet, because even though they had no weapons or limbs, the pillars and straw men, taught Shin the reaction time that would one day save his life. And the fact that he would be even faster without his weights couldn't hurt either. Around his four year with his master, Shin decided it was about time he got out to see the world and what else he was missing. Even though he had left home and settled elsewhere in about a week, he couldn't resist his urge to see what other things he could learn and explore. However, he knew his training was coming to a close, so he waited and waited, afraid to disappoint his master with his decision. Without him planning to though, this situation came to a relative head when he was training one day. Interrupting his pupils training one day, just as he decimated a pillar that had been commanded to sneak up on him, Master Pan called Shin over. Giving him perhaps the most important advice he'd ever receive, Pan, who was significantly more older now, told him that it mattered not where he went in his life or his travels, but it matter more where his mind travelled. He told Shin that his mindset about why, and when he was leaving were far more important than where he went. "Away go and come in peace, and you will always be at peace." he told him. This particular sentiment brought tears to Shin's eyes, and as he broke down crying he told his master of his planning to leave, thanking him profusely for everything he had done for a young boy with no more family and no home. That last year of his training was the most brutal and the most fruitful. Mostly because, nearly every day, his opponent was Master Pan himself, and as he would learn, his master was far better than a pillar of salt. The weight upon his body was also nearing 60 pounds, do his movements were supremely marred. However, during one of their final training sessions, Master Pan ordered Shin to remove the weights and fight him full strength, warning that he would not hold back either. As the match began, the small village gathered around the unplowed field that the two were fighting in. Shin had gained a reputation around town as being the lovely boy Master Pan was training, who would help carry loads of grocery and tend to your animals if you were sick, so his sendoff was rather sad, big also enticing to everyone around. As the fight began, Master Pan rushed in, throwing palms that would break a normal persons bones at Shin's abdomen, each one being countered by a similar palm, blocking each from connecting. Using his own palm to push one of Pan'd upward, Shin's other hand flew forward his master's chest. Sure that he would make a hit though, Shin hadn't noticed Master Pan allowing his entire body to rise along with his palm, so that his knee was raised up to block the other palm attack, letting him be hit and fly back and away from Shin a few feet to land perfectly sound on the dirt. The crowd applauded this tremendous display, but it aggravated Shin, and rushing in faster than he'd ever run before, he threw a barrage of palms and kicks at his master, each of them either being blocked or countered so that Shin chopped himself in the chest with his recoiling hand. Throwing a front kick instead of a side one however, provided his opening. As Pan used his hands to push Shin's leg down, Shin threw his body forward, head butting Pan to stun him for an instant, before sending his left palm into his chest, knocking the wind out of him just before his right palm would also connected, chakra pooled into it, and sending Pan booming backwards away from Shin, his body whirling as he crashed into one of the large red barns in the town. As everyone gasped and ran over to check on Master Pan, Shin breathed heavy for a moment, his barrage winding him as he did it, before steadying himself and sprinting over to the barn. Lying there in the splintered wood, Pan smiled as his hands lay over his chest in a block. Remarkably,he had still managed to block the attack somehow. Laughing as his student huffed and puffed over, Master Pan told him to repair the barn and then he shall be allowed to leave, his training having been completed.
Nearly seventeen by the time he left, the small town of Yongway, Shin decided to take his training to the major village near him to either find a new master, or hopefully make some food money. Though he was by no means starving, the village had provided him plenty, he didn't want to have any obligations in his future travels. Upon first entering the village, he was immediately stopped by a senior Jounin, telling him that they had been monitoring his progress for some time. Supposedly Master Pan was on a watchlist of the village's. He wasn't a criminal, but his clans techniques and his fighting skills were too dangerous for just anyone to learn, so Shin had been studied closely in order to see how he would turn out. Finding that he had become quite the warrior, the village had decided to offer him a position in their black ops, as their most junior assassin. Seeming that he didn't really have much of a choice, Shin accepted on the spot. Participating in supremely delicate mission his particular brand of nonlethal techniques were perfect for the extracting portions, making him an invaluable member of his team. During his time on his particular team, he was paired with a young medical nin named Rosa Kousen, whom he soon grew close with. Becoming very close friends with her throughout his trials, and eventually meeting her soon to be husband Shura, this became Shin's one true connection since his old Master Pan. Working well past the time of Rosa becoming pregnant and her resignation, Shin was left on a team that he hardly new while he went through the rest of his tenure. However it was until his solo performance in his assassination of impossibly dangerous Saito Nakamura (detailed below) that he gained the respect of the village after numerous teammates were killed in battle, who finally allowed him to return to civilian life. This was the same time he received the rank of Chunin out of recognition for his accomplishments in the service. Though he never saw himself as a teacher, he recently applied for an academy team.

- Spoiler:
Scaling the facade of the exterior wall, Shin swiftly kicked off and onto the roof of the room that housed his target, the viscous gangster Saito Nakamura, who was responsible for half the deaths throughout the countryside that occurred this year. This particular target had eluded the assassins league for nearly two years, either killing or escaping from them every time. Now it was down to Shin, the most junior member of the league to take him out. Or lose his life trying. Stealthily moving from one shadow to another as he avoided the lengths of tiles bathed in the pale moonlight, he reached for a moment into his side pack to retrieve a spool of bandages that he quickly and expertly wrapped around the deep gash along his right arm. Obviously the guards set along the outside perimeter weren't scrubs. He had narrowly avoided their blades while eliminating them without a commotion. Such things were certainly occupational hazards, but he wasn't afforded the luxury of time to deal with such things properly. Finishing and stowing the near empty roll of gauges back into his pack as he finally slowed his pace, Shin stood with his back to the massive air duct that ran, snakelike, along the top of the structure. Being forever active, he had to exert himself to even get his heart rate up, and as such his breathing was already beginning to return to normal, which would undoubtably slow down his reaction time, so he had to move fast. Placing his palm onto the cool metal of the duct, he sent a fair sized gust of wind chakra blasting forth, blowing a significant and conveniently sized hole large enough to fit him through it. Unfortunately he hadn't accounted for the noise, a terrible, rookie mistake to make considering the sound was sure to be heard, but the mission was the mission. Sighing slightly before he dropped into the duct, Shin wrapped his arms around himself as he fell the length of what he had actually just climbed. Having a fair knowledge of the height of the fall, just before he would hit the ground, he would release a small gust of wind from his feet to cushion his fall a bit. Hitting the ground with whatever force he wasn't able to prevent, he took only a split second glance and saw that he was surrounded. "Damn," he thought, though he was prepared throwing his arms out to his sides with as much force as he could muster with his injury, a whirlwind boomed out from his body, releasing a short storm of cutting wind gusts that threw most of the enemies surrounding him to their backs. Those on his right side received less of this damage however, and as the others tried to recover from the lacerations caused by his technique, a group of about 5 rushed in, weapons aloft. The first to reach him gave a heavy swing towards Shins injured right arm, but he was still able to react, and stepping swiftly inwards towards the attack, the arm of the solider hitting Shin in his ribs just before it was wrapped up underneath his arm. Keeping a strong hold on the masked solider, the young assassin stepped inward once more before throwing his free left palm into the chest of his enemy, sending a blast of wind chakra into his sternum and causing it to collapse into his heart, killing him instantly and sending him flying backwards and knocking over several of the group that had attacked. A quick look over his shoulder alerted Shin to the recovered soldiers heading for him, and stepping to the right nearly the instant he looked back, he narrowly avoided the downward swipe of a naginata. Throwing himself towards the floor, Shin swept the leg of the person that had attacked, knocking him forward, though grabbing the hand that held the weapon, pulling it towards him but ducking just in time, sending the blade of the weapon right into the stomach of one of the other oncoming soldiers. Crushing the hand he had gripped onto before loosening his grab and with the aid of a gust of wind, Shin jumped to his feet and hopped onto the pole of the naginata that was stuck, blade end in an abdomen, pole end in a hand, and stood for a moment before sending a blast of chakra through his feet, propelling him upwards at a starling speed while bracing himself as he crashed through the ceiling of the room that housed the numerous soldiers and whirled himself into the room of their master. Landing with a soft tap on the tatami matted floor, Shin removed the mask that was required of his league to reveal a sweat covered face, his hair was matted in places with blood, but despite this he bore a tremendous smile. "Haha well well, you are a difficult one to track."
Taking a long drag from from the elegant pipe he tapped his finger on rather impatiently, Saito Nakamura was sitting on the opposite side of the room lifted his hat slightly, getting an eyeful of his assassin. "Yes well, I was expecting you to be here sooner," he said in a low, deep, gravely voice, "honestly I can't say I'm impressed." He smiled a bit as he stood, dropping his pipe full of embers onto the cushioned floor, the wood sparking slightly as it began to catch.
"Hmph," Shin scoffed as his gaze flickered to the glowing coals that were now setting the floor ablaze, "you didn't see how many I killed on my way in, so I don't expect you to be." Saito had began disrobing now, his hat being removed to show a man of about middle age, his face marred by time and bad deeds. As he took off and held his haori, thick, tanned skin could be seen stretching over the expanse of hard muscle. This was the kind of target that normal hits wouldn't phase due to the sheer mass of him. And it definitely wouldn't be easy to do any other way either. Dropping his clothing onto the small fire that was building caused Shin's eyes to wander for only a split second, but in that second the older man was bearing down on him, a barrage of fists raining down on him faster than he could believe. Maintaining his guard in front of his face he searched for an opening, however he wouldn't have the time. While being distracted by the barreling punches, the crime boss stopped in an instant, throwing his knee upwards, nearly splitting the boy in half and sending him flying into the hard stone of the ceiling. Crashing into the floor as he came back down, blood poured out of Shin's mouth as he gasped for whatever air he could get while the shadow of Saito stretched out over him as he approached, the fire now roaring behind him and serving as backlighting. "Shame really," he said smugly, raising his foot in order to deliver a final blow to Shin, "you assassins always get to me and fail. I was hoping you'd be different. More of a challenge." Throwing his foot downward towards Shins head to end things, the latter knew he had to act or die. Throwing his palm forward to meet the man's foot, Shin sent a gust through his hand that surely wasn't enough to effect the Saito, but it was good enough to send himself sliding backwards and away from the man. Pushing himself to his feet as fast as possible, Sir Nakamura once again shot like a bullet at him and was on him in an instant. With the little time he had Shin extended his left palm out to meet the target's punch, using wind chakra to cushion the impact, though it still shattered his wrist. However with his injured right arm, Shin blasted a palm into the man's chest, knocking the wind out of him just long enough to use the same hand to send an uppercut palm into the chin of him. Sending Saito stumbling a few steps, Shin shot forward and launched a swift downward kick into the knee of the man, feeling the bone snap in the instant before he stepped closer, throwing his right palm into the his chest again while he floundered to counter, but without the oxygen to do so. Sending Sir Nakamura falling to one knee as the two got closer and closer to the fire as Shin stepped in one last time. The man wasn't giving up completely however, and in a futile last attempt he threw a heavy punch with his right arm at Shin, who jumped just before being hit and landed on the outstretched arm of the man, snapping it at the elbow junction though not moving himself. Instead he extended his leg and connected with the side of the mans head in a thunderous kick, letting his leg continue over the other shoulder of the man so that he prevented him from falling and sat down on Saito's shoulders. Lifting his injured arm without another word, Shin slammed his palm into the back of the mans skull as he blast wind chakra through it, finally eliminating him just as the fire began to lick the fabric on his back. "Guess I'm different after all."

Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)

Chakra Cost: 6 Name: Air Palm Technique: Fleeting Wind Of The Goddess Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Long Element: Wind Description: Using wind chakra as an added boost, Shin can heavily increase the speed of his projectiles for about 10 feet, making them more efficient and harder to dodge. Chakra Cost: 3 Name: Air Palm Technique: Divine Wind Of The Mountains Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium Element: Wind Description: Creating an aura of wind chakra around his hand, Shin sends a sharp crescent shaped wind flying at his target, able to cut through small objects or create small to medium gashes on an opponent. Chakra Cost: 6 Name: Air Palm Technique: Divine Wind Of The Trees Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium Element: Wind Description: Very similar to his Divine Wind Of The Mountains technique, Shin once again gather wind chakra around his hand, however, this time he sends three smaller, crescent shaped wind blades at his target that are capable of cutting small objects or create small to medium gashes on an opponent. On a command these three and branch out from each other and attack separate areas. Chakra Cost: 6 Name: Air Palm Technique: Godly Realm Separation Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Long Element: Wind Description: Concentrating a mass of his wind chakra into just three fingers, Shin sends forward a miniature jet stream of cutting blades, focused into a near laser-like line. Connecting with the enemy this technique has the power to lacerate the skin or even do damage internally if hit directly. Chakra Cost: 8 Name: Air Palm Technique: Splitting Of The Temple Rank: C Type: Nin-Taijutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: Surrounding his hand in a swirl of wind chakra, Shin stabs forward at his opponent, having the ability to cut through the flesh of whoever it connects with. Depending on how close and direct the hit is, Shin is capable of moderately injuring his opponent. This isn't enough to take them out of commission, but it will definitely hinder them. Chakra Cost: 5 Name: Air Palm Technique: Boom Of The Wind God Rank: B Type: Nin-taijutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: One of the very few punches in Shin's arsenal, the user creates a halo of wind chakra around his wrist and, just as they impact with a target, send a blast of wind blades shooting into the section of connection. This has the ability to cut deep into the skin of the opponent and damage internal organs. Chakra Cost: 10 Name: Air Palm Technique: Unraveling Earthly Bounds Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: Rotating on his heel in an instant, Shin releases a rapid, violent burst of wind from his entire body. This burst of wind can be used to repel incoming projectiles and jutsu that are at or below C rank. This jutsu could also be used to knock away an opponent who is in close proximity to him, sending them back several feet. Chakra Cost: 7 Name: Air Palm Technique: Divine Protection Of The Wind Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: Simply put, Divine Protection of the Wind is a defensive technique that allows Shin to shield either himself or others with swirling constructs of compressed wind chakra. Users of this technique generally manifest spiraling barriers of air around independent sections of their bodies, such as a single limb, torso, or even their heads. Due to the highly compressed nature, this technique is able to momentarily block blades, certain techniques of the same rank and below, and hand to hand attacks. Chakra Cost: 6 Name: Air Palm Technique: Heavy Hand Of the Beast Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close Element: N/A Description: Placing his hand on a target for a turn, Shin sends a pulse of his own chakra through their body. Using this surge, Shin increases the weight of the person's limbs exponentially, making it difficult to move without significant effort. Given that this technique requires direct contact, it is rather difficult to perform in actual combat, therefore it's primary use is seemingly for training the muscles and reaction speed of subjects. Chakra Cost: 7 Name: Air Palm Technique: Shepard In The Fields Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium Element: Wind Description: Creating and sending numerous, medium sized spheres of wind chakra across the battleground, Shin effectively creates a minefield for his opponent. Acting as proximity mines, these air pockets that are invisible to naked eye aside from the slight disturbance of swirling air hanging in place, will collapse in on themselves and explode outward if one were to get too close. Chakra Cost: 10 for 3, 13 for 5 Name: Air Palm Technique: Parting Of The Ways Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Long Element: Wind Description: Gathering wind chakra in his hand, Shin manifests a medium sized sphere of wind chakra. Throwing it to wherever he chooses, the sphere shrinks exponentially as it collapses in on itself before exploding outwards, sending a blast of wind blades that are capable of cutting and stabbing opponents, out in every direction. Chakra Cost: 10 Name: Air Palm Technique: Dividing The Heavens Rank: B Type: Nin-Taijutsu Range: Medium Element: Wind Description: Wrapping his arms around his body for a moment, Shin throws his arms out to either side, sending a medium sized blast of wind booming out of his hands. This has the powerful to throw anyone that's in the vicinity to their backs. Chakra Cost: 13 Name: Air Palm Technique: Sacred Earth Barrier Rank: B Type: Nin-Taijutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: Gathering wind chakra in either of his hands, Shin stretches one arm above his head and one out in from of him, releasing the energy in an instant and creating a barrier of chakra that blocks sudden attacks of the same or lesser ranks from above and in front. Chakra Cost: 10 Name: Air Palm Technique: Beast Containing Palm Rank: B Type: Nin-Taijutsu Range: Close Element: Wind Description: Placing his hand on a target for a moment, Shin gathers wind chakra in his palm before blasting the mass of it outward. This technique has the power to blow small holes in inanimate structures such as rocks, walls, and the like. Used on a person, this technique has the power to damage internal organs and cause internal bleeding. Chakra Cost: 10 Name: Air Palm Technique: Sustaining Breath Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Medium Element: Wind Description: Lowering the air pressure around him, Shin rapidly decreases the amount of oxygen in an area. This technique makes it difficult to breath if one were to remain in place and may also be used to combat Katon techniques of a lower rank by robbing them of their fuel. Likewise, rapidly increasing the air pressure around a fire technique can cause it to prematurely explode. Chakra Cost: 10 Name: Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu - Wind Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton Description: Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes wind to create a Bunshin clone. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, but none utilizing chakra. The range of the clone is limited however, it can travel no further than 10 meters from the original body. If the Fuuton Bunshin is injured, the clone will disperse with a gust of wind. Chakra Cost: 7 (Per clone) Restrictions:

| - Chūnin are considered B Rank, not A.
- Are you sure you don't wish for your character to have a second elemental affinity? Having only one element could be a serious disadvantage for your character once approved.
- You haven't filled in the Face Claim section of your application.
Once you fix all of these things, I'll moderate your arsenal.

| - You're missing a lot of the Academy Jutsu, which almost all shinobi are expected to know. These don't count towards your starting total of 25. The Academy Jutsu can be found here.
- You have a starting jutsu limit of 25, as a Chūnin. Currently, your character only possesses 7 jutsu, which seems like a colossal waste of opportunity to me. Are you sure you don't wish to fulfil your empty slots before you're approved? You will have to purchase any jutsu you wish to have after your character's approval.
- Please could your jutsu have the appropriate ranges (Close, Mid, Long), which can be found here.
- Air Palm Technique: Flight of the Gods - There's a typo in the description of this jutsu. I assume you mean 'few feet', not 'few few'?
- Air Palm Technique: Sacred Earth Barrier - Surely this jutsu would require Shin to gather chakra in both hands in order to protect from above and in front?

| - You cannot start with a custom kit.
- Your character cannot possess Ninjutsu (which aren't Academy Jutsu), considering you don't have this as a specialty.
- Please ensure the chakra cost of your jutsu is in accordance to the rank.
- Air Palm Technique: Denying Hand Of The Beast - What is the effect on the victim of this jutsu? Does it prevent them from performing jutsu, similar to a Hyuuga's gentle fist style?
- Air Palm Technique: Heavy Hand Of the Beast - How long does it take Shin to perform this jutsu? Because if it does not require hand seals (which you do not mention in the description) and he can perform it instantly, with just a moment's contact, then this jutsu seems open to abuse to me, despite you stating it isn't for combat use. You could still use it in combat, if you wished.

| - Your Wind Clone Jutsu needs to be replaced with our variant of that jutsu:
- Code:
-
[b]Name:[/b] Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu - Wind Clone Technique [b]Rank:[/b] C [b]Type:[/b] Ninjutsu [b]Range:[/b] Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) [b]Element:[/b] Fuuton [b]Description:[/b] Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes wind to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Fuuton Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, but none utilizing chakra. The range of the clone is limited however, it can travel no further than 10 meters from the original body. If the Fuuton Bunshin is injured, the clone will disperse with a gust of wind. [b]Chakra Cost:[/b] 7 (Per clone) [b]Restrictions:[/b][list][*]No weapons, armor, or equipment can be replicated to have above C-rank quality. [*]Replicated explosive notes, explosive kunai, explosive senbon, and exploding pouches are inert and cannot be set off. [/list]
- Air Palm Technique: Sustaining Breath - Please state that this jutsu would only be able to influence Katon techniques of a lower rank. Also add an upkeep cost.
- Name: Air Palm Technique: Shepard In The Fields - Bubbles seems more like a Water Release technique to me, rather than Wind Release. Additionally, I assume these bubbles would be visible if they caught the light, etc?
- Air Palm Technique: Flight of the Gods - I would argue this jutsu should only allow Shin to move upwards, as he is using Wind chakra at his feet. That way, you can't just dodge attacks in random directions, effectively making this jutsu the Wind version of Shunshin no Jutsu.

| 1. Done
2. Done
3. Used the word bubbles so that it would be easier to understand. Changed and added that they can be viewed hanging in mid air.
4. The point of the technique is to be able to dodge attacks. i.e. If he's in mid air he can kick his leg to the side to avoid an attack. It's entirely feasible and not cheap at all considering he only moves himself a few feet at most. |

- Please delete the Code: from above your wind clone ninjutsu.
- Spiraling Hand Of Dogma, you have two commas next to each other, please delete. Also, this is a D rank technique, I do not think it is therefore powerful enough to blast someone backwards. Say it uses enough power to unbalance someone then I think it will be fine.
- Flight of the Gods, firstly your character would be able to use chakra in their feet to propel themselves upwards and secondly, you say he can use it to blast himself forwards in the air. This would essentially give him the power of flight if he just repeatedly used this, so I am going to say no.
- Fleeting Wind Of The Goddess, how much area does this cover, how many kunai/shuriken can it push at once?
- Pebbles On The Foothills, we have an SC for this and it is a B rank. Even if I did say this was ok Shin would not be able to sense anyone that is hiding behind anything because surely the wind would not get them. Especially if the wind can only travel in one direction.
- Divine Wind Of The Trees, what wounds does this attack give?
- Godly Realm Separation, how would this do internal damage? Surely it would only be able to do this if the target was already wounded?
- Splitting Of The Temple, how deep are the wounds?
- Boom Of The Wind God, this is a C rank, it would not be powerful enough to go straight through to organs.
- Unraveling Earthly Bounds, this should only be able to block projectiles that are of equal rank. Also there should be a limit. There is no way it would be able to stop something such as a boulder.
- Divine Protection Of The Wind, this should only be able to block against techniques that are of the same rank. However any rank baton techniques would go through it.
- Parting Of The Ways, what damage does this technique do?
- Sacred Earth Barrier, again, only techniques of equal ranks or below and does not work against anything above a C rank katon jutsu.

| 1. Really? An extra comma and one word warrant singling out? Fixed.
2. Raised to C rank. Fixed.
3. It actually doesn't say he can blast himself forwards. As I stated above its a simple burst of chakra that sends him a few feet in a direction. In order for me to use it to fly I would be using up a crazy amount of chakra to even get across a battlefield, it wouldn't even be practical.
4. Added in that it's the first 10 feet. And as many as he can throw at a given moment? I don't have any scrolls full of them and it's D rank so nothing crazy.
5. It's vastly different from a sensory type considering there is no way to identify who someone is with it. It's a breeze, if they were close enough in the vicinity how would it not touch them? And as it says it senses disturbances, not the people themselves. Inanimate objects wouldn't register, animals and the like would.
6. They're blades, so they would cut.
7. It would be dependent on how close he was, whether it was a direct hit or not, etc. It's circumstantial.
8. Upgraded to B rank.
9. A normal non chakra boulder? This technique should definitely be able to provide protection from one of those. Added in the rest about ranks.
10. Added in the rank bit, and I'm assuming you mean Katon? If the Katon technique were a lower rank it would repel those as well.
11. Again they're blades so they would cut, stab, etc.
12. Added in rank bit. |

- 3. Sorry that was me making an assumption. But in theory, if you repeatedly used the jutsu in one direction then you would be able to fly. It is a D rank that costs 3CP, I am sorry, I am sure you wouldn't but either way I cannot approve this.
- 5. It is not, you can tell when there are people around. This can be used in a combative situation so I do not think that this technique is ok. Say someone was hiding behind a wall that completely blocked off the wind then no it would not be able to sense people. When you say a disturbance what do you mean? Like movement? In which case if someone was completely stood still then surely they would register. When the air does touch the person how does it get back to Shin?
- 6. Then please say that they cut and how deep these cuts are.
- 7. Then please add that.
- 9. Ok, this technique should not be able to block anything thrown by someone with the A rank strength SC of a large size.
- 11. Then please add this.
Sorry about the wait, had a really busy week this week. |
