If we all have to jump in age, doesn't it mean we all can just .. not? And are all therefore equal in that and all obey the same rule? I'm not pointing any fingers here or blaming you Darius for what happened, because I know for a fact that this isn't something you were playing at or planning for.
What I don't get is why there has to be a jump at all. So age was frozen for everybody, that's a fault within the system, so when the system becomes 'thawed' why not let everybody continue from that point on? le this. |

Making a bunch of people suddenly jump various different ages at once sounds catastrophic as far as continuity goes. Suddenly a team of 13 year old genin become 15, 23, and one staying 13.....That sounds unfair to everyone involved.
EDIT: To be clear...I think Money is vomiting gold right now and think that she must be worshiped for having spoken such enlightening wisdom. It just makes sense.

| The decision to have this age jump was the consequence of me not being properly involved with the forum for a lengthy period, so the blame ultimately falls upon me no matter how kind you're trying to be about it. The sudden boost in age was a decision I made to try and bring the forum and ages back into alignment again, to which can and is being seen as a somewhat controversial decision to make. Yet it's now become a the damage is done scenario, where reversing or freezing the ages would no longer become beneficial. The ages have been boosted to what they should have been, the system is actively back in place and time is being progressed in an orderly fashion. Again, I can only apologise for what has happened and will do my utmost to ensure a repeat of this is not made.

| Honestly this has actually been a pretty good discussion compared to the usual ones we have in FA. With all sorted though, I'll go ahead and declare this topic... Solved. |
