| The History of Konohagakure no Sato. A monstrous blaze ripped through the countryside, threatening the lives of the small humble village which took shelter in the dense forest. The fire raged for weeks, constantly harming the well-being of the villagers whom attempted to survive. Although their attempts were meager, it was eventually successful with the construction of a 10ft high, concrete-iron compounded wall in which served to block and seemingly repel the roaring blaze from the small-workings of the village. It was thanks to their attempts and especially their wall, that the village survived the blaze and managed to live in prosperity. The blaze subsided eventually and the lives of the villagers went untouched, whilst the village size grew. After several years, the village outgrew the original, sturdy walls that served to protect it and grew into a much more lively and somewhat famous village that was lead by the mastermind behind the plot of the walls, Kyuuri. Kyuuri, along with the favor of the citizens, decided to name the prospering village Kinohi, or Tree of Fire.
However many disagreed with the choice of name, and especially the choice of Kyuuri being leader and rebuked fiercely. Those who rebuked sought the use of evil spirits and demonology, hoping to persuade the use of evil powers. Their attempts were futile and only managed to create propaganda whom which to scare the villagers of. Their attempts were unsuccessful and with severe anger and frustration that had boiled up, decided to go to the extreme. Continuing on with their recreation of evil spirits and propaganda, they started to set alight to minor and major artifacts and monuments within the small village, claiming that the blaze was beginning yet again and would burn down the whole city. Several of the villagers believed in this propaganda, however not enough for their cause. There was only one way to get retribution on the situation, and that was to hit the main opposing factor.
The five of them stole through the night, setting alight to the only house which still stood inside the old walls of the past. The only house belonged to the leader of the village, Kyuuri whom lived with his wife and youngest child. Kyuuri's family, along with the man himself vanished into ashes; leaving only their charred bones. However, 8 sets of bones were found; the 3 family and the 5 murderers whom used the situation as an attempt of martyrdom. The deaths of the 3 family were considered sacred, whilst the deaths of the 5 were tainted. The deaths of the two different parties were negated and the bare ground that was left inside of the blaze-proof walls was considered important for heritage and protection of the village.
Kyuuri's successor, Toruki, was a smart man who was very attuned to the ways of merchanting and marketing and used these ways to assist in the success of Kinohi. But it wouldn't be until several months time that Kinohi would prosper in his ways, in the meantime; he had to deal with situation of last nights events. He assessed the situation that had passed and had decided on an extreme overhaul of the village. He knew from previous knowledge that the concrete, iron compound that had once saved the village from an external, and recently an internal blaze and set himself to recreate the compound on all of the buildings, making them fire proof and virtually indestructible to anything but an explosion. He then considered the village name and the recent events and whilst having the 'tree of fire' suiting the village, wanted to draw it away from the past as much as possible. Hence why he, along with the 'elder' citizens of the village decided on a much suited name to the blaze which burned decades ago, to the concrete-iron wall that protected the village twice and to the tree-like landscape. The village formerly known as Kinohi became Ko-no-ha, a much more modernized version of the previous name, which did not recognize it as 'the burnt village', that it was commonly referred to as by outsiders.
Toruki then used what remaining funds he had at his disposal and replicated the idea of the wall onto an extremely larger scale, making 120ft high walls made out of that exact compound to circle the larger village from any possible fires or threats by outsiders. He then also developed a hinging system of use on all doorways and increase it to a larger scale, making huge foolproof hinges to support the gates that protected the village. He then restored the original walls of the village to pristine condition and built a massive structure in the middle of it, to serve to protect those whom lived in it. Inside of the structure housed a barracks, infirmary, by request an elders meditative room, several offices, a huge library, a main office for the leader and a pavilion set-up for meetings and relaxation. The structure was dome shaped and would be able to house everyone in the village comfortably underground in a secure and in-destructive bunker, in the means of an emergency.
Toruki established Konohagakure no Sato as a merchant empire, dedicating two districts alone to the markets and merchants within. This greatly boosted the economy within and thanks to the beauty of tax, allowed him to make subsequent money to fund the production of a monopoly of tunnel-networks for fast and efficient merchant trade. The tunnel network is extremely inconspicuous to those who don't know it, being the civilians and is only known by shinobi and the merchants which use it. The benefits of this tunnel is to link both of the districts which are situated on the opposite sides of the village, and to provide a secret network that shinobi's can effectively tap into and move around the village with ease and speed and without the hassle of being stopped by needy citizens. And the economy boost didn't just stop there, within a mere two years Toruki had tripled the total revenue that Konoha had created since he had been in rule.
It also just so happened that during the mass-merchanting empiric reign of Toruki, he was browsing the wares of a boastful merchant when he stumbled upon a red gem shard. Something took his immediate fascination and he instantly desired the object. He payed what was a small sum for what looked like a fake gem shard and returned it to his residence. To make sure that he wasn't being jibbed by the merchant, Toruki brought a hammer down on the gem shard; knowing full well that a real gem shard would be unscathed from the blow, whereas a fake one would smash it to pieces. What he did not know was the magical power that the real gem shard possesses. With the invitation of his closest advisors, Toruki struck the gem shard and without any sign of possibility, caused Toruki to burst into flames and as a result, die. The advisors couldn't understand the situation, nor possibly comprehend it's power and like everything that can not be understood, was instantly hidden from the public eye and locked up into the most secretive section of the tunnel networks, a place only the Leader and their closest advisors could possibly know.
It was at that exact time that the Leader's advisors selected Toruki's successor and as a beginning of a new tradition; named each Leader by the will of fire that each member of the village of Konohgakure no Sato possessed. To show that the leader casted such great influence and power of their village, the advisors; together with the Daimyou of Hidden Leaf agreed that the leader be recognized as the almighty shadow, or ''Kage''; and because of the will of fire; ''Ho''. This established the very first 'major power' of shinobi ninja villages with the leader's being acknowledged as the Lord Hokage; whether male or female. Then the Leader's advisors, now named the Kage Advisors together with the Daimyou decided upon Toruki's successor. A crazy, arrogant and rather extreme male, by the name of Kamina Littner. He was the perfect choice for Hokage, as he emodied the will of fire. He was a strong willed man, and had a stronger head. Taking Konoha to greater glory, while attempting to maintain peace throughout the world was his objective. He wished to be rid of Injustice in the world of ninja, and works very hard to do so.
Kamina has a very open policy of interaction with the other shinobi nations. He offers trade and help to all who are respectful to konoha, and do their job to return favors. Kamina prefers peace, but is ready for war if it comes knocking on his doorstep. He wishes to expand Konoha in size and power, so that they have greater ability to help others. Eventually, Kamina would like to combine all of the nations in the world into one mighty, peaceful empire, without chaos or fighting.

| ANBU Black OP's
Over View
The ANBU, short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai, Special Assassination and Tactical Squad; take orders directly from the Kage, performing special high-level missions, such as assassinations and torture. The ANBU usually work in teams formed to the requirements of the mission, ensuring maximum success. The shinobi in the ANBU are hand-picked by the Kage; chosen for their individual capabilities and special skills. Age, gender, background, or previous rank bear no weight in this decision.
There are apparently no true ranks within the ANBU, as is the case with the regular forces. Team leadership and hierarchy seem to be based on merit and experience. The leaders of the teams are called squad leaders (Buntaichō), a position held in high regards.
ANBU are under direct control of their Kage. They protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy countries, and deal with extremely strong ninja. They are also responsible for carrying out assassinations, tracking, surveillance, and missions requiring specially trained ninja. Some ANBU serve as interrogators that probe the minds of enemy ninja to learn information valuable to the village. If an ANBU is mortally wounded in battle, they are required to destroy their bodies to prevent any information from getting into enemy hands. ANBU have a detailed knowledge of the human body, and can use such jutsu as Temporary Paralysis Technique and Time Reversal Technique to take advantage of this.
Uniform
The ANBU wear porcelain animal masks in order to distinguish themselves from normal shinobi and to conceal their identities. They also have standard uniforms consisting of Red and Black armor, metal arm guards, and a signature spiral tattoo on their left shoulder (female ANBU members have the tattoo located on their right shoulder to determine gender between the ANBU members). Some ANBU wear black cloaks over their standard uniforms, and squad leaders may wear white cloaks. All ANBU carry a Tanto, which are usually strapped to their backs. These Tantos hold special qualities and are distributed by the Hokage to each ANBU member based on their qualities and abilities.
Female Anbu-
Male Anbu-
Futairei
The Futairei or Second in Command serves second to the Hokage. He often acts as the active hand of the Hokage. Most of the time the Hokage and Futairei are not located in the same place in case a threat is made against both of their lives. However their are exceptions to this where they both may meet up. In no way does the Futairei hold authority over any one nor does he make any decisions for the village. The Futairei is chosen by the Hokage as a precautionary measure. Should something happen to the Hokage the Futairei would act as leading authority until a replacement has been chosen. This title in no way implies the position of Hokage should it be come vacant. |
