Hogosha looks exactly like the picture. Doton-Hogosha is a female. Four feet tall, about two feet wide. She weighs in at about 100 pounds. Sharp claws, a shield of spikes on the back. That is really all there is to her appearence.

Elemental Affinity: Earth
Special Abilities/Characteristics: Digging, moving fast underground. Always seems unphazed, even if she really is. Very strong summon, with very weak points.
Background: Shizukesa had to run away from Konoha. Well, he didn't have to, but he felt that he should leave his past life behind. His past life included his two teamates, and his sensai, dying, because he couldn't do anything to save them. He couldn't face the shame that would be brought upon him in Konoha. Brave, but scared. On his journey to Sunagakure, Shizukesa only had water and a bit of food with him. He would have trouble surviving, so he descided to hunt and kill the animals that tried to mess with him.

He first created a spear, which he used to kill certain animals, and eat the meaty ones. As he walked along in the windy desert, sand kicking up into his face, he saw a creature that he had never once seen before, just kind of standing there with no emotion. She stared at Shizukesa, his arms extended, but still frozen. Shizu walked to the creature, spear tightly in hand. From there, Shizukesa and Hogosha began fighting. Shizukesa learned about every technique that she had. Hogosha digged, and blocked with an iron-like back. Shizukesa knocked the creature out. Before he killed the animal, it agreed to a summoning contract, and Shizukesa let her free.

Element: Earth
Description: The longer that Hogosha is underground, the weaker she becomes. Hogosha is able to dig through the ground, staying directly below Shizukesa unless directed other wise. Shizukesa and Hogosha have worked together a sereis of foot-taps as a mform of communication, so they can still communicate while Hogosha is underground. Hogosha can pop in and out of the ground, almost as if he were diving in and out of water.

Name: Ironhide
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Element: Earth
Description: The earth-like spikes on the animals back will become as hard as (but not change into) the metal iron. This can protect even B ranked attack. However, if it is hit with a C or B ranked Raiton attack, the spikes will break, and will take until the end of the battle to be replaced. If Hogosha is hit anywhere except for these spikes, by a C-B ranked attack, she will be knocked unconscious. A ranked and up, she will die. These spikes get stronger as Shizukesa trains her. The spikes stay this way for five posts, and have a three post cooldown.

Name: Disperse
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Element: Earth
Description: The spikes on her back, while in [Ironhide] state or not, can be aimed at the opponent, then shot out at them. The speed of the spikes ranges from 35-40 mph. The spikes are sharp and peircing, and will be replaced on Ironhide's back in two posts after using the technique.

Uhhh...I'm a fan of Pokemon and all, but I remember an incident on Old US about somebody trying to have a Pokemon summoning so I'm not entirelly sure if this will be allowed or not because it kind of breaks the Naruverse feel for most of us when you bring in Pokemon and the aim is to keep it Naruto-fitting.

The only thing that's the same is the appearence, and one move. If I changed dig's name, there would be no similar techniques. It's not like I'm gonna throw out a pokeball and yell, "I choose you, Sandslash!"

Well that was part of the original case, I don't know the specifics about it, I'll inquire though, it looks fine and dandy to me but I can't speak for the rest so I'll find out what happened the last time this was attempted (I believe it was with Electabuzz and Pikachu...)

I'm sorry, you'll have to choose something else. For a few reasons.

First: Summons aren't a single animal, they are a species.

Second: As much as I am all for the occasional blending of mangas to increase dynamics in the RP setting, I think that this is just a tad silly.

If the appearence seems silly, then I'll change it. Besides the signle animal problem (Which I still don't quite understand), is the appearence the only problem?

The animal thing is that when you choose a summoning you choose a whole species or similar grouping if species isn't appropriate (ex. horse flies are too specific, so just flies would do) and that only having this one isn't the intent of a summoning contract. It goes into the issue that your using 'Mammal' as the species (or grouping) of your summoning which is too broad.

Based on the picture, an appropriate group would be rodents, (not sure if thats a species of not) which would include rats and mice, and prairie dogs which the picture could be construed as.
