Kumogakure's Current Situation

**Excluding Mugen and Ishiba from the following test, Mugen's declared his new found inactivity and Ishiba was here to RP with him. I'm still unsure of whether Ishiba might be active in this case.**

I lightly examined the profiles of all Kumogakure users and which ones have been active recently. Only the following people have been online in the past 7 days:
Thunderthigh, Moji, Rookie, OccupiedLocket, Senji, BK-201 and myself.

Rookie and BK-201 are Jounin, the rest of us are Genin.

I would like to propose an Exp bonus for any/all topics made in Kumogakure for a week to speed up our growth. Naturally this includes a bonus for outsiders that visit Kumogakure, provided they RP with its users.

The new Raikage is coming with a pair of Jounin soon enough, just be patient. Giving Exp bonuses will just push people to make stupid topics they normally would not do for the sake of rapidly generating Exp, and that should not be what's important here.

A pair of Jounin? The only new Jounin I am aware of is you. Other than that, when I asked about the Raikage's coming I was told "about a week". Which is why I suggested the exp bonus be for a week. As for people making stupid topics, that's up to stupid people and if it's a stupid topic it would be graded as such. Effectively meaning the bonus exp would not provide further merit.

If you would like an example of Kumogakure's recent activity levels, currently looking at the country and village I am the one with both most recent posts. One of which is two days old and the other is five days old.

I read this thinking it would offer a reasonable suggestion towards bringing stronger activity for Kumogakure, however the suggestion itself isn't a viable option. There are various ways in which you could lure greater activity towards a certain village, such as shutting down access to the other villages, offering an EXP incentive towards current members or even throwing ranks towards members. Yet these options present an unfair and unbalanced benefit towards a small segment of the community, whilst ignoring the wider community completely.

The issue of Kumogakure isn't one that has just occurred, far from it in fact. This could possibly be the third or maybe even the fourth time that the activity has fallen to a worrying level, leading to the idea of shutting Kumogakure no Sato down as a whole. This hasn't happened however. Mainly because Kumogakure's Raikage shall soon be returning and with the Raikage, as Vergil has pointed out, a few more high ranks. With these additions, things such as teams and village specific events will become a high possibility and it is things such as teams and village specific events that are able to secure activity in a fair way in contrast to offering additional EXP to a single village for roleplaying.

Patience is necessary, especially when a village is having a new Kage installed. It won't be long before Kumogakure will have its activity restored to its former glory.
