All of the Nela clan members possess the power to talk to animals and 'see' their thoughts that are going through their heads. However, they must make contact with the animal in order to do so. A member can access the animals thoughts for as long as they are making cotnact with them. Their thoughts are projected in the person's mind, and they are able to reply by thinking of what they want to say. The person with this trait, however, cannot access old thoughts from previous thinking. Only what they are thinking right at the moment, and so on.

History: Nela Clan (Done~) Jin_tattoo

The Nela clan is very different from other clans. Everyone in the clan has their own animal symbol that they can transform into. They can speak to all animals, but only when they make contact. However, they can only transform into their own animal symbol. Unlike most other clans, the Nela clan prefers to sleep in during the day, and travel at night. They feel that this is more efficient and easier. They also think that they are less likely to be attacked, captured, etc. Sometimes, the clan will run into another clan that also likes to travel at night, and they might strike up a conversation or two. However, you will rarely see the Nela clan 'setting up camp' with another clan. They don't like to spend the night- er - day with another clan, just incase they might be attacked, stolen from, etc. The Nela clan will travel during the day at times, but usually only if it is absolutely neccessary. Otherwise, they will travel at night. When the clan travels, they might split up into groups, depending on the age, for safety. For example, they might split up a group of younger ninjas and elders and put them together, so that the younger ninjas might be safer. Also, whenever ayounger ninja goes on a mission or out somewhere, an elder usually follows them closely, watching them in case they get attacked at any point.

Kekkei Genkai:
Most of the members of the Nela clan can become their own animal symbol. They have the ability to speak and read all animals that they encounter, but they must make contact at some point to do so. They can transform into their own animal symbol, and only their own. A lot of the Nela members have the power to do so, with some exceptions, such as Seiki's mother, Aiko, and her cousin, Amaya. They are the only ones that are unable to transform into an animal symbol. However, they can still read the thoughts of the animals that they make contact with like everyone else in the clan.
