Started watching it because everyone on tumblr always bangs on about it. It was ok, not brilliant like Sherlock or Adventure Time but it was alright.

I fucking love Jensen Ackles. Has anybody picked up on that yet?

Dean is so great, he is arguably one of my favourite characters in any TV show ever and I watch a lot of TV shows. The supporting cast is and has always been great too. From Castiel, Gabriel, Crowley, Balthazar, Bobby, John Winchester, Lucifer, Jo, Death, Meg, Dick Roman, Abbadon and so many more. The show is amazingly creative, The French Mistake episode where it's Sam and Dean playing Jensen and Jared was great. The Changing Channels episode with the Trickster/Gabriel was great. The introduction of Angels was well executed.

Sometimes I feel as if the show is a rehash of the previous seasons with the whole Sam being an absolute mess and Dean having to sort it out and Sam ultimately having conflict with Dean over it. It hurts me how much I dislike Same in comparison to everybody. Jared seems like a cool guy, but I agree with John about his acting, his main cast mates (Dean, Castiel, Crowley) shit all over him.

None the less, I fucking love Supernatural, not looking forward to it's inevitable end. They're trying to make a legacy show for Supernatural called Tribes but with how the story is at the moment I really think Supernatural fans are in it for the Winchester boys and Cas, look how they react any time a female is thrown in the mix that effects the bromance this show is supposed to be.

Not really, no. You've been pretty subtle about it.

Anyway, since my roommate has been marathoning Supernatural recently, I've seen bits and pieces of the show. Enough to probably make up an entire season or two of clips, and give me a general idea of what's going on. Despite my general distaste for it, I won't deny that the show certainly lives up to the hype. The ingenuity in each episode is commendable; no arguments there. The characters are thoroughly developed and well-thought-out, and as Adam accurately pointed out, Dean is probably the best of the entire cast. What I've seen of him and heard of his dialogue has made me form a good opinion of him. If I was a fan, Dean would undoubtedly be my favorite. His lines are the wittiest and funniest to me, and his angst seems the most sympathetic. I would say his interactions with that "Cas" guy are probably the best ones; and of course, his bromance with Sam. Gotta love the bromance, man.

And yes, Sam also annoys me, particularly with his "issues" and how he deals with them. Though, he has had his laudable moments.
