| Wanizame was a bit anxious, Nigai had given him some troubling news recently and it seemed it was time for him to uphold his end of the bargain for the services she had been giving him. Fingertips tapped rhythmically against his thighs with an overly nervous readiness that practically spelled out the fact that what he was about to ask for and what he was about to do might not sit well with those of such high rank in his village. Stepping up the door, he knocked gently and waited for permission to enter the Raikage's personal offices.
Nigai herself had wanted to come with him, but this was something better done on his own anyways after what had happened the last time he had left the village. Eyes watching the door absolutely unable to stop fidgeting, not with the news pinging back and forth inside his skull, Wanizame couldn’t help but think about what Nigai wanted from him. He was expected to travel to the crow’s home, they had moved into the ruins of Rain Country and wanted Wanizame to come and study under them for a time. Now wasn’t exactly the best time for any nation, but Wanizame didn’t want to risk his contract with the crows by denying them their single desire they had asked for in their agreement to work with him.
So he stood, he waited, and he prayed. |

| [OOC - Move topic out to here, inside the office is more for formal business but the RP can be put here ^^]
Riku had been in her office all night, and it probably showed on the expression on her face. She was tired and had been doing tedious paper work for over 4 hours, but she had nearly done her quota for the week. She was the type of person that liked to get the difficult or boring activities out of the way first so she could then occupy her time with something more enlightening. She brushed her hand through her blonde silky hair down to her neck and then abruptly cracked it to the left, relieving tightness which had accumulated through intensive writing. She knew that this was apart of the the job and on some occasions doing the paper work for the village could be quite rewarding and exciting, but this only occurred when she would be doing a report on a mission which she had seen a ninja on. She enjoyed reading the report summary of how they went on and the success of the village.
Her eyes started to droop and she could begin to feel herself fall asleep when she got a call from her assistant at the front desk. "Madam Raikage there is someone here to see you. He goes by the name Wanizame a village genin." Riku slowly perked up from her seat and brushed her eyes with her fists to try and keep them more alert for an extended period of time. "Ok send him through. Oh and could you also bring me up a new cup of coffee this one is cold. Thanks darling." She said with a care of warmth in her voice. She looked over at the cold stale half cup of coffee which sat next to her on the table. She grabbed the handle and lifted it to her nose giving it an innocent quick 'sniff'. She then got up from her seat and tipped the cup into a near by pop-plant in the corner of her room. "There that should keep you energetic for a while mate." she giggled to herself. She then walked back over to her chair and sat down waiting for the young man to come in.
She had heard little about the man but she knew all of her shinobi and kunoichi, she made sure that she knew each and every one of them. She quickly looked through his file to update her memory of the boy. Her eyes darted down the file as she skim-read over the papers. With her delicate fingers she flicked through the papers liking her lips as she turned. As she moved on to the last page there was a quiet, nervous knock on the door. She looked up and closed the file putting it down on the table next to her. "Come in Wanizame" she said with a light eerie tone of voice. She usually didn't get genin visiting her directly at the office, so she was intrigued with the young shinobi's intentions. She sat back in her chair and waited for the boy to come in. |

| Wanizame took that final gulp before stepping inside with the door slowly closing behind him. With a definitive click, he was in the presence of the Raikage herself about to ask for something both unusual and unlikely as he fidgets with his hands and steps forward.
"Madame Raikage, as some might have told you recently... The Crows from the west have recently been bound by blood contract to myself. Which surrogately makes them allies of Kumo. However, when the contract was signed I was expected to uphold an end of the bargain on my side. With the world always turning and politics between nations ever shifting, they desired an envoy to the human world. In return for their cooperation with me, I am expected to go train with them in their home territory."
This was the part that Wanizame wasn't looking forward to. Sure the Raikage wouldn't mind Wanizame being trained by the crows to further his abilities as a shinobi but the destination that Nigai had in mind for their training was amongst the squatters and rubble that remained in the Rain Country. It was a distance from Kumogakure, sure, but more important was the fact that Wanizame had to walk through The Land of Fire and if a sudden war broke out, he would be isolated from his homelands.
"The Madame Crow Nigai wishes for me to travel to the ruins of the city in the Land of Rain. I will remain there for several months isolated from any country as I go into intense training. I understand that it is quite a distance from Kumogakure, but surely there is some way you can let me leave the village to tutor under them. I didn't expect they would want me so soon, but there is no reason for me not to go Madame Raikage. I can learn much from them and bring that strength to the Land of Lightning."
fidgeting, Wanizame waits for her reply with a feeling in the back of his mind that he will most definitely be denied going that far. |

| (OOC- Sorry its short, Only have a little bit of time to write.)
Riku lent back in her chair playing with a thin strand of hair which swung past her face into the palm of her hand. As the young ninja in front of her spelled about his intentions and plans she sat and listened patiently thinking and processing the information which was coming in. She was going to be reasonable, as even though she had been up for numerous hours on end she was in a good mood. With her other hand she furiously flicked her pen against the side of the desk in a rhythmic fashion. She could tell that the young lad was particularly nervous about coming to see her, he must have mustered up a lot of nerves to come and see her, and she was happy and pleased that he did. It wasn't everyday that a young ninja takes his career and ninja hood into his own hands allowing for progression and development beyond the means of the village, in a way she was quite impressed. He had obviously thought all of this out and had gone over exactly what he wanted to say. He had all the information and details planned out and was giving a very thorough and compelling speech to his Raikage, not something which is easy to do. But Riku thought she would throw in a couple of curve balls.
She pulled up from her chair as the young man finished. She sighed deeply and took a deep with breath. She gently placed the pen down on the table and finished playing with her hair, neatly positioning it back to comfort the rest of her style. She slowly clenched her fists together and began to speak softly to the young ninja Wanizame "Ahh I see so this is to do with a contract summon, very interesting indeed." Riku chuckled. "There are some questions that I would like to ask and want your co-operation with. How long exactly do you want to spend with them? You realise that there are enemy territories in between the boarders of the Lightning Country and the Rain Country, the land of Fire being a major one. What if you became isolated between countries, what would you do then? What will happen with your team in this absence, don't you think they need and rely on you?"
Riku looked at the young man with a faultless expression. How he answered the question would determine how and when he would be able to leave. She had already thought of multiple options and pathways in her head but wanted to test the young ninja. How bad did he really want it? and if it was really so important to him would he fight to obtain the right to go. Riku liked nothing more than strength, courage and character from her shinobi. It has been the Kumo way for centuries on end, Kumo breeds strength. |

| Wanizame was expecting these questions and it was almost a relief to finally hear them actually spoken and brought to life. Each syllable that came from the mouth of the Raikage made his trip more of a reality and less of a future. Fingertips tapped his thighs, fighting was far easier to him than talking, before he continued the conversation.
“Madame Raikage, I understand I would have to traverse into territory that is not our own. But with your written permission, I will most likely be allowed to traverse the terrain unhindered by the land of Fire. A simple check-in with Konohagakure and I might only need to stop by briefly unless there is currently a reason for them to distrust us. “
The next questions came a little harder, the one about his team particularly. He hadn’t even received a message or summons from any of them. But in the days coming, that could change rather rapidly and leave them in a rather tight position. He almost visibly winced, but kept his face at least halfway unreadable in front of the Raikage. Why couldn’t she just be some enemy he could lie to and ignore?
“As far as my team, I have yet to hear from any of them and I’d only be gone a month. Unless something like a war occurs, would my team really need my support? This training could push me to the next level Madame Raikage, which is something Kumo could always use. More experienced and skilled shinobi to help defend it should be a priority and I am sure it is to you. I understand your worry… but perhaps there is some compromise to achieve this? Send me with someone to watch over me, I’m positive Nigai and the crows would allow you to send some guard or escort to the Rain…” |

| Riku sat in her large chair, one arm resting on the arm rest and the other on the women's chin. The boy would be away for a while and with the uncertainty of world stability of the coming months she was anxious about letting him stray too far. If one of her ninja was caught in between an international mess and a squad had to be sent to disarm the situation it could leave uneasy ties with other nations involved. It was all consuming her at once, the vital decision she had to make for the young shinobi's future. Kumogakure's relationship with Konoha was rocky at the best of times, both villages have a unique past togther filled with mistrust and deceitful lies, but in the present day with a new Hokage there has been little confrontation between the two villages, and the trust has been slowly building for years. But Riku still felt uneasy about sending the boy alone into the area.
Riku open her draw and ruffled through it with both hands vigorously. She pulled out a large map and pressed each corner out on the table in front of her and Wanizame. Her eyes scanned over the map and together she usher the boy to come around the table, pull up a chair and have a scan over it with her. "Hmmm. Now where exactly are you thinking of going dear? I must say I am uneasy about the situation and I will need more than your word as proof." She turned and smiled at the boy. He had a grimace look before, the issue of his squad seemed to bother him somewhat. By reading him Riku thought to herself that perhaps he hadn't contacted them yet, or as he said they hadn't been in contact with him. "Have you contacted your squad yet about the idea of you leaving? That could be the reason that they haven't replied yet." She looked at him with a concerning face.
Regarding the idea of sending a escort with him, she wasn't to fussed on that. Kumo's resources were being pulled left, right and center at the moment and she needed all able and willing personal in the village, this was why she was a little anxious on him leaving, but she knew it would be bettering for his career. "Regarding the escort idea, with the funding and resources as they are at the moment that just isn't a viable idea." She sat thinking to herself as the boy explained on the map in front of him. She was being to crack, this wasn't like her. As the role of being a kage drew on she began to feel herself becoming more and more easy to be swayed. |

| Wanizame’s body almost slumps when he hears that Kumo’s resources are run thin. That made the rumors of Kumo lacking able bodied shinobi too true for his taste and set his resolve to go train with the crows even further. No matter what the cost to him, because it would grant Kumo one more well trained shinobi to protect it in times of need.
“May I suggest an agreement then Madame Raikage? Let me at least walk to the border of our lands. I can convince Nigai and her Crow council to break the training into two halves, I’m sure of it. Let me reside isolated in the land of Iron with a messenger crow left here to call for me when my team or you needs me. Just tell me how far out I can go and I will go train there. Surely that will satisfy your needs and mine. Then, after I have proven myself worth of a rank other than Genin, we will discuss completing my training in the ruins of Rain. Is that satisfactory Madame Raikage?”
He kept his fingers crossed behind his back, honestly hoping that the offer was more than enough for her to consider giving the okay for this training. Eyes full of hope, nerves full of ice, and resolve of steel left Wanizame hanging for each of the Raikage’s next words. |

| She listened to the young boy speak her eyes fixed on him. Riku often used this technique whilst in conversation with other person. Her belief is that by looking directly into the other persons eyes you can truly organise their thoughts and see their true intensions. She looked at the boy who expressed quite a nervous aura, slumped body expression, heavy eyes. He was nervous to speak but when he did speak it was with so much passion and vigor. He wanted this badly, it was something that he was striving for to be better than he is now. This was something that Riku admired in Wanizame. She saw a little bit of him in her. When she was younger all she wanted to do was better herself in any means necessary. She wanted to strive for the best and protect all though's that she loved and cared for.
She leaned forward on the desk, her top angling downwards the gravitational pull dragging it down. She looked up at Wanizame and sighed "I am getting softer and softer these days. I will allow it but there will be strict conditions at which you had to abide by young man. You would have to stop at the border of the Iron Country and work out your plan of action from their. Ask your summons if it is possible to study and train there. Once everything on the world stage has become more open I will get in touch with you and I will tell you whether you can move on from their to the Rain Country or not."
She smiled and looked at him. He would enjoy this trip and she hoped that he would come back with a world of experience under his belt and a new lease on the village and life as a whole. "Make sure you get in contact by either carrier lizard or hawk once you leave the Lightning Country border and enter the Iron Country border, this knowledge in paramount." She stopped and put her hand on the young lads shoulders, standing up from her chair. His small, boney shoulders remained her of her own adolescence. "Now you enjoy yourself and train hard darling! Kumo will welcome you back with open arms." She smiled at Wanizame. |

| Wanizame practically leapt out of the door, sprinting down the hallway at full speed to get out in the open and contact Nigai as quickly as possible.
"Yes Madame Raikage, I promise I'll train hard!" the words uttered over his shoulder as the pitter patter of his feet grew softer and softer. On his way out the door he snagged a bag he had obviously packed before hand to save time moving as he slung the massive pack over his shoulder.
The clinging of weaponry hanging from the pack was a bit obnoxious, but he could finally go and train with the crows at least half way. And one day he would make it to their home in the ruins of the Land of Rain. With Raikage permission sure to be following him via courier or hawk to the entrance of the city, he makes his way out into the world expecting the worst and hoping for the best. |
