Meh. This chapter was just meh. Like I said before, I don't like how every Jinchuuriki's past is the same. I don't care about their dumb childhood friendship, start training already!

That's just how I felt about it. What did you guys think?

I dunno, I felt it was a nice little flashback filler. Smile

I love the black-white guy respect thing between Mr Motoi and Bee-san. ;D

Yeah, I do agree every Jinchuuriki's past is the same, but they each have their own twist which is exciting to read about. All in all, not a bad chapter.

Failure. Complete and utter failure. The boringness of this chapter cannot be expressed through words. I don't give a damn whether Killer Bee was an emo or a hippy as a kid, all I want to see is Naruto fight his inner hatred. Wasn't Motoi's tale supposed to give Naruto a hint as to how to beat Dark Naruto? What did Naruto learn? Nothing, zilch, nada.

And is it just me or does Killer Bee hang around waiting for the squid to pop out so that he can beat it up? Two in a row is hardly a coincidence.

One thing confused me. Why did Naruto suddenly march off in between Motoi's tale, claiming that "he was using him"? What was that about?

This whole training arc seems like a Canon filler arc to me...

I'm sorry to say this, but it's just regular story. They always go into detail about important characters that influence Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura. So, expect them to do this for at least 1 more chapter, than they'll return to Naurto vs Inner Hatred Naruto.
