To River Country!

Atop Kusamaru's back, Saya zipped along the long path through the forest of fog. She had been assigned a mission in the River Country, and was eagerly making her way there. She was lacking in equipment, leaving her mask and helmet at home with her cloak. Her spear as well was cast aside, and Kusamaru benefited from the lighter load. The pair makes spectacular type across the beneath the looming trees. The forest is little more than a blur around her, and she trusts fully in Kusamaru's movements. His nose could detect threats, but it's reflexes are what let it speed through the forest.

The dinosaurs lightning reflexes allow it to evade the odd root or branch protruding into his path from above or below, and his long and powerful legs led them along the path quickly. Each step kicks up a pit of dirt behind them, marking their trail in the moist, mossy soil. Paths were common in the bog lands, and easy to make, however the wet soil soon enough reclaims footprints with the next rain fall. Saya didn't care about her footprints. Few in Kiri wanted to do her harm, and others would likely think twice about following such large, bird like tracks.

She had been assigned a partner for this mission, but actually did not seem to mind. She'd met Lark on a few occasions, and he didn't quite irritate her as much as others. His wings gave him an advantage, and greatly helped on the pair's traveling time. No doubt he was already flying over the tree tops towards the docks. A ferry would take them to River Country, and on to their mission. There had been some reports about magic scrolls showing up at a quarry, or something like that. Saya had only listened to the quarry part, and hoped it would be a chance to get some good, old fashioned exercising done.

Having flying over the Forest of Fog on his way to the Docks Lark was trying to hurry to get there so he would be in time for the ferry as flying all the time tend to annoy him as he hates to be late to meetings or missions. With lark on his way to the Docks he kept thinking of what he was going to do if he did indeed miss the ferry... he could always fly to the docks and waste yet more energy or he could just go home and sleep. But as lark was closing in on the Docks he saw his partner who was also on her way to the Docks a genin called Saya who ride's Dinosaurs, when he saw her he started laughing "Hahaha she is trying to beat me hey?" he said while speeding up just to get to the docks first instead of having Saya first. Once he got to the docks he landed but by the time he had landed he was already late... "Damn wings" he said under his breath as he walked over to saya. "ok im here lets get on the ferry and off to River Country" he said as he walked onto the Ferry and waited for it to take off from the land of water.

(i know its short but i have a thumping headache)

(just as a note, so you guys know. You have 24 hours from Kiri to Wave (Which is Part of Konoha. Im helping you do this in the shortest amount of time possible). Then 24 hours to travel through Konoha to River.

Kay, I'm not exactly sure why I we can't take a boat from one coastal region, directly to another.. but this just isn't gonna work. Kiri wouldn't send a pair of genin half way across the world, through the lands of two different nations for some simple scrolls. IF the scrolls were worth getting, they'd send jonin or chuunin. Apparently this mission has gone beyond it's scope.

To save ourselves frustration on training topics. we're going to start this mission over, in Kiri. That should clear up the apparent confusion.

Because you cannot take a boat directly from Kiri to River. Youd either need to jump around Sea country and Jiro Island to get there, or go to Wave/Tea and go through Konoha. Its not like you can specifically command a boat to take you directly to Kiri as they would have trde routes and allow you passage unless you had your own specific form of water transportation.

Though anything can be done for a price. *shrugs* But whatever. If I buy my own boat, can I drive it where ever I want?
