| Walking out of the gates of Konohagakure Yoru opened the scroll that contained the information about his current mission. “A retired shinobi has asked the village to look into a con-artist from his past. However after some looking into the individual it was discovered that he had past. However after further investigation it was discovered that he had a daughter. Shinobi Yamamoto is to look into her and find out what she knows about his card ticks and how he conned the client. For information on the daughter attached is a dossier, approach with extreme caution target is subject to violent tantrums.” Yoru let out a sigh as he rolled up the scroll and pulled out another scroll and unrolled it. A picture of a young woman was printed at the top of the scroll while the information about her was printed just below.
- Spoiler:
Hakuseki Kurohime Age: 19 Rank: Civilian- Shinobi trained Description: Raised by her father Hakuseki Soji she spent much of her time learning his tricks. However as time went on she grew distant from her father and ultimately ran away from his home. Though reports are a little hazy at this point it is believed that she had met up with a Nuke-nin. During the next four years of her life she trained under the Shinobi but after a time there was an argument between the two about what they should be doing with their abilities. Ultimately Hakuseki killed the shinobi and went on her own way helping people at small villages that were too poor to hire shinobi. The latest reports state that she is currently staying at a small village inn along the Roiyaru Road. Approach with caution has shown skill in Ninjutsu and taijutsu. If possible avoid combat and letal combat. Does have a tendency to get enraged when the subject of her father is brought up.
Rolling up the second scroll Yoru let out another sigh, the last thing he really wanted to deal with was a girl that threw tantrums. Yet that was the mission and Yoru was going to follow it to the letter, even if he was not looking forward to the possibility of dealing with a teenage girl. Yet maybe he would be able to talk to her and help her see reason. Yet as is to be expect Yoru was planning for the possibility of things not going the way he hoped. |

| It took very little time for Yoru to arrive at the small village the girl was staying at, from what Yoru could tell it was not a village that had much money considering. The village only had one inn to stay in so it was not hard for Yoru to find his way to it. Entering the builing he discovered it was not just an inn but a pub as well. Walking to the bar Yoru saw the patron standing behind the counter, he was an aged man probably in his late forties. However the patron was still strong and husky, currently cleaning a glass with a rag that looked as if it should be burned rather than used to clean. Now standing in front of him Yoru spoke up, “I am to understand that a woman may be staying here.” Reaching into his pouch Yoru presented the picture of the girl. Looking Yoru over and then the picture on the scroll. “I don’t give customer information out… for free anyways.” A smile stretched across the man’s face as his greed took over. These people tend to piss Yoru off yet today he just wanted to finish the mission as quickly as he possibly could. Reaching into his pocket Yoru slapped a small stack of large bills onto the counter. Quickly swiping the bills up the patron spoke, “Top floor last door at the end of the hall. She did some help for the village. I hope you are not bringing trouble for her… or my business.” As Yoru walked away for the stairs he heard the man say something else yet he didn't want to hear anything else from the greedy man.
Taking each step two at a time Yoru made his way to the top floor and quickly making his way down the hallway. As he began to approach the end of the hall Yoru slowed down reaching to the sword on his back, Yoru gave a quick rap on the door and spoke. “Hakuseki? Hakuseki Kurohime? I need to speak with you about something of the utmost importance.” Had Yoru not heard the heavy steps coming towards the door he would have just stood there next to the door. Yet he took several steps back just before the door exploded into splinters. There standing in front of him was the young woman he had been looking for and she did not look happy to see him. |

| Standing in front of Yoru was an enraged girl, she looked as if Yoru had done some great evil to mankind. Standing there Yoru and Kurohime stood staring each other down, at any moment one small move would set off a battle of epic proportions. Yet the continued to stand there watching each other ready for a fight. “Nobody calls me Hakuseki Kurohime anymore. I am called Suchiko now, which leads me to wonder. Who are you and what do you want?” Clutching her fist she waited for Yoru’s answer though he wasn’t sure on how to reply. Yet in the end his only choice was to give her the truth and hope that everything worked out in the end. “My name is Yamamoto Yoru of the Leaf Village. I have been sent here to speak with you…. About your father.” Yoru said. If Yoru had thought that the look on her face was one of rage to begin with now it was even beyond that. He could feel the hatred seeping off of her, Yoru could only feel worried that there might be some blood spilled today. “I have nothing to say, he is dead and we shall leave it at that.”
“Remain calm Yoru, you just have to get the information from her and then you can go home and enjoy a nice book.” Yoru thought and then spoke up to her. “Listen I really need the information about one of your father’s cons. It is of the utmost importance that you give me this information.” Her eyes screamed a hatred that could not be measured. “You should not have brought that up.” With that she charged him her fists clenched tightly. Throwing a punch she aimed at his face, had Yoru stayed where he was he would have taken a very painful hit. So Yoru jumped back to avoid her attack which only caused her to punch the floor as he took a step back every time. Yoru took the chance to look at the spots where she had punched, each spot there was a fist sized hole where he had previously been standing. Yet now he was running out of hallway and was going to need to change his tactics.
Kicking off the side of the wall Yoru jumped over her and began running back down the hallway towards her room. Yet he could hear her charging after him and he would have been fine until he heard her say, “Goukakyuu no Jutsu!” Yoru knew the jutsu that was coming for him which meant if he didn’t move now he would end up being screwed. “FUCK!” He screamed drawing his sword and cutting through the window moments before the room exploded. Landing in the street below Yoru stood watching for the girl to come after him. |

| Moving along the road Yoru gave himself some distance from the inn that was now billowing smoke out of one of the windows. After a few feet he turned around to see if she had followed him out, yet very quickly Yoru wished he had kept going. Flying across his field of vision was a single kunai followed by a very painful kick to his side. Flying along Yoru’s side smacked against the ground, giving a twist of his body Yoru pushed off with his free hand for a flip onto his feet. Now standing in front of the woman Yoru drew one of his fans. “Alright bitch I was trying as hard as I can to be real nice now I am going to tear it out of you!” Sliding the blade back into his sheath Yoru opened the fan and took the combat stance. Now standing and staring at Yoru the girl clenched her fists ready for combat. Forming the required handseals with his one hand Yoru’s hand began glowing a simple blue. Charging in Yoru swung his fan in an upward movement. “GALE STORM!” Yoru created a blast of wind pushing her back and catching her off guard allowing him to follow up. Thrusting his right hand forward he quickly made contact with her shoulder draining her of a little chakra. Jumping back Yoru took in the looks of his opponent. He was very lucky with the hit that he had pulled off.
Now standing at a distance she looked at Yoru confused until she stumbled and now took a knee onto the ground. Slowly walking towards her drawing his blade again and presenting it to her neck. “Now then my dear it is time you talked. I have no real problem with killing you, but it turns out you have been helping enough people that my village doesn’t want you dead. However accidents do happen so how’s about you just tell me how your father did his little card trick and I leave you alone.” Yoru smiled. It wasn’t that he really enjoyed tormenting her, it was just the fact that he wanted to scare her enough to give him the information he wanted. He was giving her no choice and she knew full well it was either reveal it or die. As any smart individual would do she sang like a canary the truth about her father’s favorite con.
After all was said and done Yoru was making his way out of the village heading towards Konohagakure. Considering how he had thought the way of the mission was going to go it went fairly well for him. Pulling out his mission seal Yoru looked it over again with a smile on his face and placing his complete stamp upon the scroll. After writing in the trick to the con he made his way home feeling just a little sore from the whole ordeal. [end topic] |
