| Demo heard some of the most sinister laughs come from in the mist. He saw the head of the young shinobi move, and heard even more laughing. Demo did a fake little laugh himself, and then said, "Oh no, I don't find you a threat. I just don't get enough practice these days. I'd love have a team. " he said as his voice echoed off each wall that surrounded the training area. "To be honest, I have a kunai to your back. Make another slight move, and I'll have to take you to the hospital." he said in a saddened tone, but now with a very serious tone, one the ninja would not mistaken as joking.
His foot moved back a step now. With a smile, he quickly did a set of hand seals and quickly was swallowed into the earth. Quickly, Demo traveled to the area behind the cloud of mist and popped back out onto the surface. With a great leap, he launched himself towards the roof of a nearby building. After settling himself, he propelled himself towards another and another until he was at a decent height to where he could see the whole training ground. "Nice use of Kirigakure No Jutsu..." he said as he looked at the area around the cloud. "Okay then, since you won't show your face. I'll make it to where you'll be embarrassed too..." he said as he made his way down. As he leapt for the ground, he did a couple of hand seals and landed on all fours when he hit the ground. Then, suddenly, the ground in which they all four stood on turned, and turned, until it was eventually mud. Demo quickly, with his taijutsu expertise, jumped towards a nearby road and watched as the three would be stuck in mud, as they probably were not skilled enough in taijutsu too get out easily. "If you start to sink, don't squirm! You won't make it to far if you do!" he yelled with a head full of laughter. Fortunate enough, the river of mud would empty into the large river that seemed to run through Kiri, which was not filled with any dangerous animals. So by time they would be at a sinking level, they'd be deposited into the river, and be nice a clean. Demo smiled, at his possibly newly forming team.

| Kuro respected Saya. She was a power in her own might, and Kuro would refuse to lose such a valuable asset such as herself. But such in Kiri, survival is only declared by the winner, and today, Kuro would let nothing more than a few scratches happen to her, or so he thought after the Hyuuga disappeared. He concentrated one the nearby river for a water source moving a large sphere of water. It quickly solidified into ice, with Kuro juming quickly before he got stuck. Sure, it had been a while since he stood atop one of his disks, but they were very useful for many purposes. He looked towards Saya and Kusamaru. How can I help her help herself, he asked himself, before deciding she was a capable individual and could very well defend Kirigakure no Sato herself.
His disk floated, and he himself stood on it, having gained the balence needed to actually move it. He floated over to the road where the man was, once again standing beside him. Kuro stood in a small puddle of water, his hair over his body as he grinned, quickly making handseals and grinning as a small blur came from his body. A Mizu bushin had left his body and shushined back into the mud, on the disk of ice Kuro had sent back in. The Mizu Bushin Kuro looked around for Saya, searching and looking until he seen a dinosaur. The actual Kuro remained quiet after that. The clone looked down at Saya, extending it's hand. Little would Sayaeven know this was a trap to show some more of Kuro's advantages in his homelands.

| Once again the ground was taken from beneath her feet. Cursed earth users, they were always the ones to just slow things down. Some had some efficient means of slaughtering their enemies, but beyond crushing their foes to death, earth users were otherwise unimpressive. As the earth turns to mud, the blue-green Demon bird takes to the sky. With a simple leaps it flies into the air, soaring skywards as the dirt churns, then lurches along in a sluggish manner.
Standing atop the ground Saya tries to move but her reaction is poor, and her movements clumsy. She saw Kuro flying over on a disc to help her, he wasn't going to get thee in time. The extra weight she wears brings her down very easily in the soft and sticky mud, and she sinks like a stone in a river. It's really only a matter of a few short seconds before she hits the bottom of the flowing mud jutsu, and is completely submerged by all of it. Saddly, what else could she do? Her one defense was the one she'd taken, and like always she was prepared with the right tool. Before she was pulled beneath the surface she managed a good breath of air, and it would serve her well enough.
The pitch black beneath the surface of the mud doesn't bother her, as the current offers enough information to make navigation possible. When she feels the flow of the mud pulling on her cloak, she faces in the direction of the flow and begins to walk. Amazingly, not a single hint of panic strikes the genin as she sinks into the black abyss. She handles the situation like it's happened a million times, when all she is doing is just riding the jutsu out. Her heavy boots dig into the riverbed beneath her and she begins to take long, slow strides. The flow of the mud helps push her along as she begins her trek down stream.
Kusamaru lands on the surface of the mud after his great leap, the beast standing atop the flowing river as a ninja would stand on water. It hisses and sniffs at the river, though wouldn't be able to smell Saya moving inside of it. Instead he just defends the spot she was standing in last. |

| Suddenly, the ninja that had appeared made a clone that hoped onto a disk made of frozen water. However, this was only done after the ninja had shunshined by Demo. "Interesting..." he said looking as the young ninja stared at him. Demo back away a few feet, "Your a really interesting kid. I like you. So, whether you like it, or not; your part of my team now." he said with a smile as he did one hand sign and suddenly disappeared. He reappeared atop a large building next to the flowing river of mud. "You also, better help Saya get out of there without any harm. She is your teammate now, and now that we're a team, we are a family. Got that?" he said with yet, another smile.
Demo stared at the long haired ninja for a second, then turned his attention towards the river of mud. "Saya! If you can hear me, this young man will be helping you! Also, you two better meet me back here tomorrow for a team get together! Got that?!" he said, hoping she heard him. Demo then turned his back, the Byakugan still active. "You, I hope you come tomorrow. Your a pretty interesting kid, and ninja." he said holding out his hand, he gave a thumbs up. "You two were a blast to play with today. Hope we can have fun like this after we get to know one another tomorrow! Feel free to bring a guest to be on our newly founded team!" he said as he crouched and quickly jumped away, fleeing the seen. He truly was mysterious.

| His eyes widened and he brought his face into a sinister laughter. But his wide-eyed appreance made little doubt he was worried. He looked up at his new "sensei", then looked back at the mud. He walked over, grabbing a neabry stick and poking it in. He swirled it around, layed on his back, and stabbed the mud, but nothing worked. He even thought about sticking his head into the mud, but remembered it's not see through. He sighed, and began walking down the river of mud, seldomly staring into it. His hair waved, and the wind and rain picked up. The mud would surely be washed away soon.
But Kuro forgot abouty Saya being under the ground level, and kept walking. He eventually found himself near a river which the mud was leaking into, an he thought Saya was surely to come out into here, but he found himself in the water, his long hair soaked and covering his ace. |

| Saya follows the flow of the mud, knowing it must end somewhere. Her great bulk and weight make it easy for her feet to dig into the bottom of the riverbed, and the fast moving current quickly escourted her along towards the termination of the river. The constant flow of the water in the river was already running dirty and brown where the mud was bleeding into it. With only one breath held Saya may have been more stressed, but she had stamina and figured this was an alright situation.
By the time her lungs are burning for air, she's reached the faster flowing river. Beyond it's current, the river has little effect on her. As heavey as a rock, she still remains well cemented to the river bed. The horrible pain of her lungs screaming for air didn't bother her much, but she knew well and good that she needed to get air quickly. Casting her cloak aside would not help her. In spite of its weight and size, Saya had been able to swim while wearing it before. Her training weights, on the other hand, made the task impossible. She exhales the breath she'd been holding once light can be seen above her, and takes a last half gasp from the air trapped inside of her mask.
She unfastens her training weights quickly, the immensely heavy wristbands and shin guards falling off like rocks and landing on the ground. She pushes down hard with her legs and rockets towards the surface of the water, all the while watching the sky become increasingly more visible. On the way up she pulls her mask off, sure to have no obstructions when air is available. When Saya breaches the surface of the water she takes a great breath and coughs.. twice. She pants for only a moment, and then pulls herself up on to the surface of the water. She focuses chakra down through her body to keep her balanced above the waves, and just tries to catch her breath. |

| Kuro stops to realise he's fallen in the water. To his surprise, he heard metal clanking as he watched air bubbles come up to the surface, the cool water was something Kuro was use to, as he jumped beside Saya, and froze a path from where they stood, you land. "Hey, Saya, are you okay?", he asked, before looking under the water. He could clearly see her armour, and knew he'd help her get it if she asked. He sat down on the ice, smiling and swinging his hair back. |

| Saya sits down on the surface of the water, grinning just a little. The river was only 30 feet deep, or so, and the water was nice and clear. Saya's mask and four peices of armor were sitting on the bottom of the riverbed. All five pieces could be easily seen, the shiney steel reflecting the sunlight back upwards from underwater. There was her mask, two wrist guards, and two shin guards.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Just a little wet." She replies easily, still grinning in spite of herself. Demo seemed good at ending fights on a dramatic note. She still ignored the inner bruising from impacting the wall a bit ago. The girl was soaked, but at least she was clean. Curls of her black hair clung to her pale wet cheeks. The cotton robes she was wearing clung to her skin. "I'm a bit out of breath. You mind swimming down there and picking up my armor? It's just a few peices, and the water is nice." she asks in a sweet voice, as she points down at the glittering peices.
She makes no mention of the great weight of the armored peices. Her mask only weighed about ten pounds, about what was expected for it's size. The other peices, however, were hardly even armor. The wristbands and shin guards weighed in at an amazing 150 pounds each, and would be a pain to lift, even underwater. She waits to see if Kuro will help, hoping he would. If not, she would have to get them herself. |

| He looked at her throw his wet hair, then down at his own soaked green robes. "I didn't have to come down here to see if you were all right you know.", he said before moving his hair from his face, moving it back and putting it behind his ears. He looked at her, and with a questioning glance, himself wondered why she asked. "Look, how about this." "We'll both dive into the water and get your gear, that way it goes alot faster., he annouced. He didn't lunge into the water, but exchanged glances from Saya, to the water, to the very ice they stood apon.
He returned his arms to his side, the wet sleeves engulfing his arms, and his shinobi headband, moved from his waist, and found itself on his head. He tied it, keeping his hair out of his face so he'd be able to see and hear clearly about he reply. |

| Hearing his answer, Saya hops to her feet. Seemed it'd be up to her after all. In one easy motion she pulls her torn cloak off of her shoulders and gives it a good throw. The heavy material soars through the air and eventually lands with much clatter on the river bank. She certainly wasn't going to need any extra weight if she was going swimming for weights. Who knows, this may end up working it's way into her training routine.
"Just so you know, those things are weighted. Each one is over a hundred pounds." she says, giving out vital information. With little hesitation Saya falls backwards, landing once more in the water she'd just crawled out of. She flips over and gives her legs a might kick, quickly swimming downwards. The rather sparse cloth of her somewhat revealing robes did at the very least help when swimming, but the heavy chainmail she wore beneath it pretty much canceled that.
Saya swims downwards quickly, ignoring the growing water pressure and pushing her way down towards her discarded bits of equipment. She'd need to clean them once she got them home safe, but they'd be otherwise unaffected by their short soak. When she arrives she picks up two of the peices of armor, each of them a wrist band. She puts her feet against the riverbed and pushes back up towards the surface, carrying her heavy load with her. 300 pounds did not make swimming easy, but Saya seemed to be managing. |

| He watched her. She tossed her cloak over, then dived into the water. Kuro removed his headband and dropped it. His hair returned to it's messy form once more, and Kuro only barely heard what she had said. But neverless, he dived into the water. His hair clearly flew back, staying out of his face. He swam down, watching Saya retrieve her wristbands. Kuro looked around, finding the mask lieing deep within the sand. He began swimming down, reaching his arms down and grabbing. He thought, before sliding it onto his face as a joke. It was heavy, and he quickly swam after Saya.
He passed her, looking back with the mask on before removing it and putting it on the riverbank. He then sat on it, sighing in relief of a breathe and not carrying such a heavy piece of equipment. |

| It took some actual effort getting the weights topside. Her mask was light and it's weight was reasonable. It fit comfortably and snug over the face. As Jeffy was wearing it, it was full of water, but exhaling into it would push most of it out. Behind the mask, special goggled covered the eyes, protecting them from dust and debris. The nose and mouth were covered by a rubber fitting, which lead to a pair of concealed airfilters. Saya's mask was for more than just show.
Once above the surface of the water, Saya tosses her weights to the shore, then swims back down for the last two. She retrieves the falled pieces of equipment like she had the previous two, and soon her armor is fully safe. Saya grins to herself as she puts actual thought into making this a regular part of her training, but with heavier weights, and more of them. She says nothing about Kuro wearing her mask. It didn't bother her, she knew her mask was pretty neat. It kept her safe from harm, and also concealed her appearnce.
Saya climbs out of the water once she's done with her work and sets back to getting dressed. Soaked as she is, she only wrings out her robes a little. She'd end up dry eventually anyway. Once her wrist and shin guards are back in place, she's again strained under it's great weight. The reduction in speed is obvious, and even her walking suffers from it. She casts a quick look over towards the nearby marketplace, and the empty lot she was training in. She'd worn herself out, and then had several bones broken. She cracked a thick stone wall with her own body.. if not for the vines inside of her, she'd already be in the hospital, or dead. "Well.. I'm going to go home and change into something dry." she says casualy, as if she'd just gotten done with an afternoon of relaxation. "Thanks for your help, Kuro-san." |
