| So its time to end my 2 day lurking period I guess, my names Nick, I'm 18 years old, Australian/American, and I'm here to make friends and RP to help with the stress of my final year of school. Problem is that I'm completely lost and don't know where to start on this site. So, anybody looking to make a new pal and willing to give the new kid a hand? |

| Hey, Nick. Welcome to US, glad you decided to join us for real.
If you're wondering where to start you've actually started in the right place introducing yourself. I think the next step would be creating your character in the character registration, it's not a very easy task but as long as you follow the template and the rules you'll be done in no time.
There are a lot of mods who can help you whether in the chatbox or if you PM them. They are all friendly and nice people and would be happy to help you if you get any questions.
Once again, welcome |

| Welcome! Give the rules and regulations a quick read and start working on your character. All the guidelines should be there but if you have any questions, drop by the chatbox and most of us should be able to help you out. |

| Hehe, about that character, I sorta jumped the gun and made it without first introducing myself, cause its a big task (in my opinion) and I wanted to make sure I could actually bother finishing it before actually making the leap to really join the site. Anyways its already up there, approved, so im pretty sure im cool to start the rp, but im lost on how to actually start. |

| Welcome to Ultimate Shinobi, Nick!
As Ruka and Lexi already mentioned, don't hesitate to ask for help in the chatbox, through Private Messaging, or even by creating a Forum Assistance topic! You could also add me on my skype account if you want to talk through direct messages: bab.bee
Have a look in the guides and systems and go one step at a time.
Since your character just got approved, a nice start would be to train some Special Characteristics, and of course make your first topic, either be it a mission or a social one. You can always ask other members if they wish to role-play with you and that should help start things off!
I hope you have a fun time role-playing with us on this forum and enjoy your stay! |

| Welcome! I am working on talking to an admin about getting your Konoha color and "Genin" tag. Should hopefully be done before the night ends! As Keos had explained; the next step from here is deciding on what you want to do.
You can select out some special characters to possibly train and post them up in Misc Section. Special Characteristics are free to obtain.
Jutsu/Weapons cost "available funds" or AF as we call them. In order to purchase more jutsu/weapons/equipment you will need to obtain more AF. You obtain AF by roleplaying in topics; Missions or Social Evaluations. Missions are, of course, Mission topics which also earn you Mission Points or "MP". Social topics include anything that's not a mission; solo topics, roleplaying with others. Social's earn you Experience Points or "EXP". When you created your account, you may have noticed your MP, EXP, and AF were zeros. That is where we add your points up. So again, if interested in purchasing more jutsu/equipment/etc then I recommend working on building up your AF bank by starting social or mission topics. Each person is limited to 3 topics at one time so you could potentially have 1 training, 1 social, and 1 mission. All up to you. Feel free to ask anyone to join you! You can post a topic with an [Open] tag in the title; a way to ask for rpers to join you without asking people personally.
My best recommendation is to place your account link and application link in your signature (see my sig as an example). This makes it easy for staff to find your apps and makes it easier on you to look back at details; example = jutsu. People typically copy/paste their jutsu into their posts when they use that jutsu (helps keep track of chakra count).
Before I honestly say too much and make this seem more overwhelming then what it truly is; I highly recommend checking out this link -> Link. Gives you an idea of how much chakra you have per rank, what each rank allows, how exp/mp/af work, and includes many other important rules. Again, might seem like a lot, but feel free to ask any questions. A few months ago I was a newbie and to this day I still sometimes bother the snot out of our admin, Trey, for questions
