It was a Lovely Day in the Village hidden in the mist lark woke up and remembered it was the day for him to have another mission today. When lark got out of Bed he walked over to his counter and started to make breakfast for himself, when he finished his breakfast he started to get dressed in his normal clothing and get his weapons on. Once he had his weapons and scrolls attached he started his normal exiting from his Apartment. Once he left his Apartment he went to get his mission that he was Promised today, when he finaly got to the Kage Mansion he walked up to the guard and asked " i am here for my Mission" the guard noded his head and let lark through. From there lark walked into the building and to the Area where he was to get his mission from, the scroll master who had all the mission scrolls. "I am here for the Excavation Assistance mission" lark said as he wanted into the room "here u go Lark" said the Scroll master, he knew larks name due to his name being on the Mission with Saya's name on it as well. Once he got the scroll he started to walk off to where he was to Meet Saya in the River Country.

Saya was already waiting eagerly for another day at another mine. She'd made a name for herself at the stone quarry she was sent to previously, and figured that today's mission would go just as well. She is lacking in her normal armor, wearing only her normal plated boots and braces, as well as her purple robes. Her plated cloak and helmet, even her mask was all left at home. She had many of her normal weapons with her, though her spear was absent today, as she assumed combat wasn't going to be happening.

She stands mostly motionless, just resting idle while waiting for her partner to appear. These team jobs were getting bothersome, but at least she recognized the name of her partner this time. Lark; that guy with the wings. She didn't know much about him, but at least he'd never gotten in the way. Working at a mine was no easy chore, so Saya silently hopes that he doesn't end up just slowing her down.

The quarry of the day was an open pit affair given the charming name of The Jade River Quarry. It'd found a seam of silver in the earth here, and the workers were methodical claiming it all. The digging crew broke down the walls of the open pit, gathering up materials which others than moved onto larger wagons. Oxen and mules pulled the carts to a pile where it was further crushed. After the material was crushed up, it was sent off to a refinery for further processing. The whole place sat on a rather modest piece of land, only about a half mile square. Saya herself was standing patiently at the gates, waiting for Lark.

Having gotten to the Area Lark found out that his partner Saya was already there waiting for him. Once he got there he landed on the ground and closed his wings while he put his Trench coat back on to hide them. When he finally got to Saya he walked up to her and said “here before me I see” he said with a small smile, as he said that he started to walk off towards the Mine’s Forman who was to tell them what they will be needing to do. “Oh so you two must be the two who are going to help us today” Said the Forman with a smile on his face, all lark said was “yes what are we doing for you today?” Once he said that he started to walk off with the Forman with Saya following.

Once they got to the Area that they Miner’s were digging at lark saw there were at least 4 Scrolls lodged into the Rocks, with lark eyeing the scrolls he wondered what type of Jutsu where printed on them…… Once he finally got his mind back on track he walked over to Saya and asked her “so where to start?” he said with a laugh.

"As I understand it, we are too free the scroll from the stone encasing it. I know little of scrolls and the like, but I'm very talented at moving stone. I suppose it is best if you lead through the process of removal." she said with a little nod. "The more I can avoid doing anything with the scrolls, the better."

Saya wanders off towards the quarry, and the scrolls which had been discovered along the silver seem. Along the way she picks up a pick from the ground, and gives it a little spin in her hands. The magic scrolls had haulted the progress being made here, and many around regarded it with some fear. Ancient scrolls are known to contain a vast wealth of knowledge, but all to often they are trapped and locked. Saya really didn't like messing with such things, but such was the life of a ninja. She'd really just prefer to chip and the wall, and haul the rocks around the place.

"I wonder how someone even managed to hide them underground. Do you think they recognised the importance of the silver vein, and figured they'd one day be found?" she asks, thinking outloud some. Of course, she wouldn't set to work until Lark gave out some sort of idea on what to do. The last thing she wanted was to blow everyone up, and ruin a perfectly good afternoon. Her eyes wait on Lark expectantly, awaiting directions.

Again, locked. There is no travel topic from where ever you two are to River country. There needs to be a travel topic regardless, unless you are already in River country. Since there is no post prior to this topic of you being in River, you will need to make a travelling topic from either Kiri, or should you currently be in Aishigure country or whatever the name is before being able to post here again. Travel topics are essential, thats why we have them. When the travelling topic is made, I will unlock this. Be sure to follow the time requirements for posting in the travelling topic also.
