| The genin was doing a handstand off of a tree stump. He was trying to focus and remained balanced. This was one of the training exercises he does to keep his body sharp. When standing on one's hands it requires balance and focus. He couldn't be distracted while doing this exercise. No outside noise, his eyes remained closed tight. This was most likely why the rock thrown at his gut had caught him completely off guard. The rock was no bigger than an eyeball but when it hit Ryuto in the center of the stomach he lost his balance, hit the broad of his face on the stump and rolled onto the grass. 'Ouch! Damn it that hurt.' He sat up to see, of course, his father. He also had another rock in his hand. Tossing it up and down in his hand, grinning from ear to ear. "Hey you, someone sent for you." Ryuto looked confused. "They want you to report to the administration building." Ryuto nodded and let a quite sigh. "Hurry up." Ryuto didn't like taking orders from his father. Looking down at the ground sighing a little bit louder. He knows he should try to make a name for himself by completing missions he was given. He looked up just fast enough to see that second rock hit square in the forehead. "Ouch." He muttered.
He headed up the stairs and into his room. The outfit he wore while training was his purple attire. However when on a mission or just walking around the village looking for something to do he wore the orange and blue outfit. Recently Ryuto redone the lower portion of his outfit. Instead of pockets sown into the pants he had four pouches tied all around the belt, two on each side. The pouches on his right side held his kunai, shuriken, senbon and makibishi. The pouches on the left side of his belt held his exploding notes, smoke pellets, exploding pouches, his 12m of wire, and of course his file and scissors. He had to run through a check list of his equipment, there have been times where he had forgotten gear that he had needed. Today would not be one of those days. The last two pieces of gear he needed were his ninjato and windmill shuriken. Since he was right handed he placed the ninjato between himself and his belt. He placed the large shuriken on his right side. He looked himself over in the mirror, something was missing from his outfit. His hazel eyes stared at his forehead. 'Of course.' He looked to his desk next to his bed. He kept the headband clean and shiny. Ryuto tied it tightly and looked himself in the mirror. He was ready to take on this mission.
The streets of the village were alive that day. Ryuto had a hard time getting through to the administration building. Not to mention the heat, Ryuto felt like the sun was beating down on him. As if it was singling him out or something. 'That would be ridiculous.' The heat wouldn't have been so bad if he had room to walk. 'Why did I have to take the busiest street in the village.' He was already fed up with the close quarter. The first change he got he made his way to the nearest building. All the buildings in this district were about the same one story size. He climb up the side of the building he made it to. This way it would be a little less crowded. He ran on the roof tops of the buildings all the way to the administration building. The wind felt great against the skin of the genin. This was the sort of thing he liked. Running from rooftop to rooftop feeling the breeze through his hair. Ryuto loved being outdoors and hoped that the mission he would get would be an outside.
The administration building had crowds of people around it today. Usually streets around the place were normally barren but today they were packed. Ryuto climb down the building he was on and made his way through the crowd. He could hear the people complaining how they needed to see the village elders. Ryuto bits of sentences, what he guessed was that things were getting bad all over the country. This may be why he was requested for a mission instead of him asking for one. 'If the villagers are at an unrest then I'll have to make I do my best.' There were two other shinobi standing at the doors. The genin had figured that they must be to keep people out, simply to prevent overcrowding within the building. They both looked at Ryuto, it must have been the headband because he didn't need to say anything before one of them escorted him into the building. Ryuto knew where to go, only his excitement could not be contained for whatever this mission was. He did know one thing though, they requested him. |

| The halls of the building were empty, every step the genin took he could hear echo. 'It usually isn't this barren. I wonder why almost no people are in here when there are loads outside.' Ryuto didn't think about it too long, he had to get his mind in the game. His focus had to be on the mission. The jonin walked in front of him, not making a single sound. The fact that it was so quiet crept Ryuto out. 'It is so quiet in here. I wonder if something else is going on.' His thoughts were remain unanswered. The jonin stopped, Ryuto realized that they were at the door. The man turned around and with his head he signaled Ryuto to go in. The genin walked through the doors to see the five elders sitting at their table as per usual. The man in the center signaled Ryuto to take his spot.
"We have a special assignment for someone of your particular talents to handle." The hold man looked down at the book, he opened it and began to flip though the pages. "A retired shinobi is willing to hire a ninja to find out someone." The elder cleared his throat. "This man was conned out of a lot of money, unfortunately the man responsible has passed away. Reaching his twilight years the retired shinobi wants to know how. It has caused him to become very frustrated. The conman had a daughter who has been going around and taking quite a bit of money from people. Your job is to find her and find out how she is conning people."
Ryuto nodded, "Any clues on where she is?"
"That's your job Ryuto. Go and find her and make her spill the beans or as the kids say." 'Spill the beans? My dad doesn't even say that.' "Another thing, she is in every sense of the word dangerous. This girl as assaulted civilians who have brought up her father so be careful about that. Also based on the injuries you should be able to handle her. The primary goal of this mission is her con methods, that means if a fight is to break out don't not, and I can't repeat this enough, kill her." Ryuto was taken aback by this. "You are a genin not an assassin. While it is true we want her to be stopped this isn't a murderer. The shinobi just wants to know how he was conned. She has been known to have a bad reaction when her methods are brought up or at the mention of her father. Also we have the small towns where the girl have been spotted and ones she haven't. What course of action you take is up to you." Ryuto nodded again. From his past experiences he figured it would be best not to talk unless he needed to. Some of these old geezers weren't exactly fond of him. "You have mission and looked well prepared. Be off with you now and get it done." Ryuto turned to walk away but was stopped as the elder continued to talk.
The street outside was a little more organized. Instead of one massive crowd of people there were several lines. 'Looks like that jonin know what they're doing.' He figured he would visit the small towns that this con-woman has passed through then he would try to make it to a town that she hasn't been yet. The only thing he knew about this girl was that she was a female. Her name, hair color, eye color, height and weight were all unknown factors. 'So if I go to these towns and ask around I should be able to find something out. Hopefully.' Ryuto had a feeling that this mission was going to be a little more trickier than originally planned. 'Whatever I do I have to act fast.' Ryuto always felts as if he was running out of time. 'I also have to take into consideration that she might have a goon or two. I wish I had a basic description of the girl. Maybe the elders didn't know or they would just want to see if I can figure it out.' The genin was focused now. He had to stop his kunochi. 'If her fooled a shinobi and she is fooling people around the country side she also would have to be intelligent not to have been caught.' Ryuto sighed mind games were not his strong suit. |

| With the sun being out the walk around the country was almost relaxing. Ryuto didn't let his guard down though. Reading his map he decided on heading to the nearest town that the girl passed through. This girl was a threat. she attacked people who mentioned her conning them or her father. 'And I thought I had some issues with my father. So her ticks are her father. I'll have to remember that, maybe I can find a way to dance around the subject and take notes of her reaction.' If this girl was conning people Ryuto thought that it wouldn't have been safe for her to stay in a single town for very long. She certainly couldn't hit the same town twice. Or maybe she could. Ryuto wasn't into gambling nor were either of his parents. If he wasn't careful he could get conned as well. 'I'll have to make sure I keep my guard up. Everything about this girl is unknown. A lesson in the shinobi world I hope not to experience is that the unknown can be the most dangerous.' The trails of the out in the forest were quiet. It was a nice change in pace. The last two times he walked through the forest he was attacked by two wolves and a bear. Although Ryuto loved both bouts he wanted to keep his mind sharp.
After a few more minutes of walking Ryuto came across the first inn on his travel. "Okay, I'll just walk in and say I need to stop for food and rest." The plan he had come up with was that he would play an easy going laid back genin who is just out for a walk. Hopefully it would attract the attention of anyone that might take advantage. It might have been to old school for this mission but simple plans are what worked best. When a plan is simple there was less of a chance of Ryuto screwing it up. 'Okay time to get my world renown acting face on.' He'd laughed if it wasn't sad. 'What do I say exactly? Should I even order anything to drink out here?' Ryuto stopped walking and pondered what his next action should be. The plan had not even begun and he already messing it up.
With a calm breath he walked through the door to the inn. Maybe inn wasn't the right word. The outside of this place was in good shape however the inside looked filthy. The set up of the lobby was almost like a bar. When he first walked in he saw the check in desk ahead of him around 20 meters. To the right was a stair case to the second story. The left was a large open area with tables and chairs. Beyond the tables there was what looked like a bar. Most likely it was for ordering food and drinks other then alcohol. Ryuto was surprised to how many people were here. 'Well I guess this is the closest inn to the gates.' Most likely it meant that the people here were one nighters. The place was almost packed other than one or two tables. Ryuto took a seat and watched the various people around the inn. He saw several young females ranging from 14-20. 'The elders called her a girl and not woman. Then again someone under 30 could be considered a girl to them. Damn it, why didn't I ask more questions?' It was too late to regret it now.
He scanned the room. Groups of people were around three tables for the most part. One table was playing poker. Ryuto knew how to play that game. The second table was playing a dice game known as crabs. The genin didn't know much about how that worked but all the participants were male so it was the least of his worries at the moment. The third table he noticed a single person out of the crowd. This girl looked to be around Ryuto's age. She has long red hair and her complexion was almost white as snow. What made her pop out was over her left eye was an eye patch and on her back was staff. Ryuto wasn't as versatile with weapons as he would like. They were playing another card game but this one was harder to tell what it was. This girl wasn't playing but watching. Ryuto would have to decide what to do. He didn't want to draw attention. But he did walk in with the village headband, weapons and let's not forget the symbol of the leaf village on the back of his shirt. 'Maybe I should act like I don't know what I'm doing to draw this con out. I could pick any of these tables to play at and just purposely lose. That way the con will think I'm an easy target.' It was worth a shot. |

| 'If I go over to play poker I can play it off like I don't know and save some money. However my acting isn't the greatest. If I go over to the crabs table where I genuinely don't know what I'm doing then it's less acting for me and more trying not to lose all my money.' The genin weighed this conflict heavily in his head. The choice he made might just determine if he will draw the attention of the con. Then again the con may not even be at the inn. It was a gamble one could say. Ryuto smirked at his own joke. 'That one wasn't too bad.' His jokes were slowly getting more corny every day. But he had to focus, 'I'll wait for an opening at either of the tables and then take my chance.' Ryuto got up from his seat and walked over to the bar area. The bartender was woman that looked to be about his mom's age. Ryuto felt awkward and to make matters a little more uncomfortable she eyed the genin the whole walk. He would shift his eyes to something else but when he looked back at her direction he just sat there staring a whole into his head. 'She is making this really creepy for me.'
"Aren't you a little young for wanting a drink?" She asked him. Her questioning eyes kept Ryuto uneasy.
"I don't want any alcohol, I would like a glass of water though."
The bartender softened her glare, "Oh I see. Sorry about that dear." He pulled out a glass and a bottle of water. "So what's a young man like yourself out here from the village?" Ryuto looked back at the tables. "Oh I see you like to play a game of chance. To many come out here to play a stupid game of poker or crabs. Kid trust me you are better off just going home." Ryuto didn't say anything. He just took sip of his water. "You kids are all the same. Go on a blow your allowance then."
Ryuto was watching the tables the whole time, the bartender kept talking but he eventually ignored her. He watching as the four people at the poker table seeming to be having fun. The large stack of chips constantly switching ownership. 'If the con was in that group then she would have won already. Or at least she is making sure that the other felt comfortable.' At the table were two girls and two guy. The first girl was a blonde with light blue eyes. She was a slim figure wearing what looked like a single shirt, however he noticed short under. The second girl had black hair and was more fully figured. Her hair went over one of her eyes and where Ryuto was sitting he couldn't tell her eye color. She was wearing all black. The outfit looked lose but was tight in the right spots. The two guys both had dark hair and looked so similar they could have been brothers. Ryuto waited, 'I'll wait for the poker game.' These two girls kept looking at each other after each hand. Ryuto watched as carefully as he could without flat out staring at them.
Almost an hour had passed before he caught something. The blonde slipped a card under the table to the brunette. 'Gotcha.' It was no coincidence that the brunette got the best hand and won the pot. The two guys began to flirt with the girls but were rejected. Within the next ten minutes Ryuto watched as these two guys lose almost 200 ryo. 'Geez, if I lost that much then my dad would kill me.' They left the table and went over to watch the crabs table. Ryuto decided to make his move. "Where do I get chips?" He asked the bartender. She pointed over to the check in clerk. Ryuto had 56 Ryo on him. Hopefully that would be enough to play. The clerk greeted the genin. "I'd like some chips please." The clerk and smiled. He pulled out a try with almost 150 ryo worth of chips. Ryuto was caught off guard. "I only need 50 sir. This is way too much." The clerk shook his head and pushed the small tray of chips towards the genin. Ryuto was a little slow to this sort of thing but after a moment he got it. The clerk was giving him enough to play the two girls. Hopefully the genin would prove his worth. He grabbed the tray and headed over to the table. |

| The young boy made his way over to the table with chips in hand. The fact that he wasn't much of a social person would make this a little awkward, but he had to do so. A far as he knew these one of these two girls was the daughter of the con man. Even if they weren't, they still were cheating at a card game. Which thanks to Ryuto's sense of duty, he wanted to stop them. The game of poker was simple enough to remember. Each person was given five cards and out of the five cards would hope to get something of a hand. The lowest hand is not to have any suits or numbers matching. If that is the case then the best Ryuto could hope for would be have an Ace card. The list of different hands from least value to greatest value pair: Pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush, and royal flush. Ryuto's father taught him a little about poker. The fact that he knew the rules at least, wouldn't put him to much at a disadvantage. As he walked by the third table he caught out of the corner his eye someone turning their head towards him. 'Just act natural. And of course by natural I mean don't act like a total dork.' He sat down at the table with his tray of chips. The blonde eyed the tray as the brunette eyed the genin. He calmly said, "Good afternoon ladies, I hope it isn't any trouble that I join you for a nice game of poker."
The brunette smiled at the boy, "Of course, we were just talking about how the two other boys barely offered a challenge." She picked up the deck of cards and began to shuffle. Ryuto shot a quick glance at the blonde, who was eyeing the chips still. "We play five card studs. I usually deal the cards, however if you want to deal at anytime we'll let you." Ryuto didn't recall the other two guys dealing at all in their game. The genin felt shiver down his spine when the burnette girl winked at him.
'I'll have to make sure to deal the cards after a little while. Now I have to act like an idiot in this game. When I get a decent hand I'll bring my free hand up to my mouth. When I get a bad one I'll scratch the back of my head. After a few hands they be able to figure it out. Then I'll catch them off guard so they'll have to cheat. Hopefully I'll be able to catch them in the act.' It was a sound plan and with a little luck on his side he could pull it off. The brunette finished shuffling the deck and passed everyone their hand. Ryuto picked up his hand to see two aces, a king, a jack and a five. The only think he had in his hand was the pair of aces. Which wasn't exactly a good hand. With his right hand he scratched the back of his head. He placed 15 ryo worth of chips in the center of the table. Both girls matched that bet. Ryuto placed his hand on the table, the other two girls revealed their hands as well. The brunette had nothing but the blonde had a straight. The genin couldn't help but notice that when the blonde looked at her hand she put them back face down. Both of her arms were under the table. 'Okay, so far so good. All I have to do is keep this up.' After a few more minutes Ryuto believed that the girls had figured out what his signs meant. Every time he put his hand to his mouth they barely bet or they folded. On the opposite point whenever he scratched the back of his head they would bet more. 'Now I have them right where I want them.' He looked up at both of them. "I never got your names? I figure since we are gambling our money I would at least like to know your names." Maybe it wasn't the smoothest way to ask but it would work.
The brunette was the one that answered, "We didn't get your name either. This is Emiko." She pointed to the blonde. "My name is Yumi." It was a simple response. Yumi shuffled the deck and gave everyone their cards. Ryuto reached for his, grabbing the bottom and tipping the cards upward. He didn't make out the numbers but noticed that three of his cards were red. The reason he didn't finish looking at the cards was the fact that Yumi almost startled him with laughter. "Oh silly me, I forgot to take the joker card out." Ryuto looked up to see in fact a joker card. "You don't mind if I just draw another card do you?" Ryuto shook his head. He looked down at his card, but not focusing on them. He made that out of his peripheral vision he could see the two girls. The blonde moved her right arm, 'Gotcha.' He had to try his hardest not to smirk. He lifted the cards to his face to get a better look at them. He hid the shock he had when he saw that he only had one red suit card. 'What the heck?' He sat there wondering what happened. |

| 'How in the hell did my hand change? It had to happen in the few seconds I looked away. Did Emiko switch my cards when I wasn't looking? No way that would be impossible. Let's think for a moment. I looked at my hand and then looked up. Could be the Joker card? The blonde moved her arms while they were under the table. Maybe she did something? It couldn't have been handing her friend a card. Even if it was it wouldn't explain why my hand changed.' Ryuto was deep in thought, he had to figure out how his hand as changed. 'Maybe it's some sort of an illusion.' It was then that it hit him, an illusion. 'If it is an illusion then I'm holding my original cards. Which means I must be under a Genjutsu.' The genin didn't have much experience with genjutsu however he knew the basics. They were illusions cast by a shinobi with the talent for them. Most Genjutsu that Ryuto knew about required concentration to hold. Then again what he knew wasn't a lot. 'I guess it would be worth a try.' He remembered back to his academy training. He wasn't a user of the art of ninjutsu. But he was taught a few when he was younger. One technique was that once he realized he was in an illusion he could break out by using his chakra. He had to focus.
"Hey, you never did tell us your name." Yumi was smiling at the genin. He had figured it out. The reason the shinobi was tricked by a Genjutsu. 'But wait, an experienced shinobi was fooled by a simple Genjutsu? Maybe the con man had another trick up his sleeve. Then again, the thought of making a lot of money could cloud anyone's judgment.' Ryuto closed his eyes to focus. "Hey boy? Are you going to tell us your name?"
"Yeah." Ryuto nodded, "Kai." He focused his chakra to interrupt the illusion. He looked at his hand to see that he had a straight. With his free arm he scratched the back of head of his. He placed every last chip he had in the pot. He could see out of the corner of his eye both Emiko and Yumi placed everything they had.
"Well Mister Kai let's see your hand." Ryuto placed the cards face up on the table. "That's too bad, you don't have anything in your hand." 'She she must know the what the illusion was. There is one way I think of to confirm my thoughts.'
"Well Miss Yumi, what do you see?"
The girl looked up at the genin with a weird looked on her face. "You have the Ace of hearts, two of spades, four of clubs, six of spade and a seven of spades. Looks like you have nothing, what would a hand like that be called?"
After the last half hour of trying to keep his poker face, the genin grinned from ear to ear. "I believe it would be called a straight. You know that's when you have five numbers in a row." The other two hands had nothing except a pair of aces. "Well it looks like I win. " Ryuto stacked all the chips on the tray and took his leave. He had completed his mission, he knew how the con man fooled that genin. Most likely though it wasn't a single con that pulled the wool over his eyes. The genin returned the chips to the clerk and made his way out of the inn. 'Well that was an easy mission.' As he walked through the doors and unto the trail he heard a voice from back in the inn. He turned to see Yumi. She was now standing in the doorway.
"You cheated!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.
"How? You are the ones who cheated."
"Those chips were mine! I'll make you pay."
"Didn't your father ever teach you not to be a sore loser?" And there it was. Ryuto knew that would be a sour cord. But he didn't care, part of him wanted the fight. He hated criminals and despite the fact that this girl would be a dangerous ninja, he thought of it as a perfect opportunity to test his skills. If looks could kill then the boy would be dead. Yumi's eye widen and her jaw clinched.
"What did you just say?"
Ryuto couldn't help but smile. One thing he hated was criminals. The smartass I him, which he got from his father, liked to get under their skin. "I said didn't your daddy teach you how not to be a sore loser." Before he finished the sentence the girl rushed him. Looks like he was going to see some action after all.

| As the girl came running towards him, the genin pulled out his ninjato. She stopped halfway. "I am not your usual picks." He called out. "I will defend myself." The people of the inn were watching though the windows. Ryuto watched the girl closely. 'I need to be prepared for anything. I know she can use Genjutsu which I'll have to be careful of. I also don't know what type of jutsus, if any, she has.' Like he stated before, the unknown is a terrible enemy. The wind began to pick up as the two locked eyes. 'Why hasn't she made a move yet? She couldn't be intimidated by this blade could she?' The girl looked to the ground and looked up at Ryuto.
"I'll remember this Mr. Kai." She was angry beyond belief, but was she intimidated. Maybe her picks were either too stupid to notice or to scared. She was a bully then, pure and simple. Ryuto stepped up and she didn't want to risk it. She walked away from Ryuto. He put his ninjato away and turned to head back to the village. A kunai flew past his arm, cutting it. He looked behind him to see Yumi with her hand out as if she threw something.
"Oh you didn't just-" She threw two more kunai. The distance between then was enough to give him the time needed to dodge. "You did!" He whipped his windmill shuriken and threw with all of his might at the girl. She ducked, dodged the weapon all together. 'Well there goes 50% of my ranged attacks.' He really need to practice aiming at damn weapon. 'Now I know she is willing to sink low. That's a start.' Slowly but surely he would figure out this girl. Her hands began to move and form signs. She took a deep breath and blew out fire. 'Ah crap baskets.' Ryuto moved to his right, he was no longer worried about himself so much at the forest that surrounds them. 'Has she no morals that she would try to kill me over a few hundred ryo?' The genin answered his own question. They were roughly 20 meters apart. 'I have to close in.' He grabbed the three smoke pellets in his pouch and three of his shuriken. Yumi just sat there and watched as he popped the three smoke pellets into the shuriken and began to run around the girl in a circle. Running around in a circle with a 20 meters radius was not the brightest plan he had. Ryuto threw one of the shuriken at her feet. She was distracted by the attack she didn't notice Ryuto get in closer.
'Let's see how well your martial skill is.' The distraction gave him enough time to close in the gap. He threw a hard cross with his free right hand. She didn't see the attack coming and it nailed her in the square of the jaw. Ryuto smirked as Yumi landed on her ass. "Had enough?" He slipped the two shuriken he had left back into his pouch. "If you want to surrender I'll let you go."
She looked up at with shock on her face. "What?"
"I completed my mission and I don't wish to harm you. I'm giving you a chance to walk away before things get." He paused for a moment to look for the right word. "Nasty." She nodded and slowly rose up. She smiled and extended her hand for what appeared to be a hand shake. Ryuto graciously accepted and held out his hand. He caught the smile become and smirk and quickly retracted his hand. A hidden blade emerged from her wrist and she began to try and slash and stab the boy. Her style was so unfocused and wild that someone who trained themselves in hand to hand combat didn't have much trouble blocked the attacks by stopping her arm or stepping out of the way. Another hidden blade sprung from her long sleeves. Now she was using both of her hands to try to slice and dice the naïve boy.
One of the palm strike connected with Ryuto's face. A cut across his cheek began to trickle blood. The next strike was aimed at his stomach. However he caught Yumi by the wrist. His face, which was almost gentle before, was now serious. "I gave you a chance to run, twice." He increased his grip on her wrist. He could also feel the wrist blade contraption start to crack under his grip. "Instead you use my kindness as a way to exploit me." His grip grew tighter and tighter. "You want to fight? Fine." He swung a shovel punch with his free hand. When the blow connected he released his grip on her wrist. Yumi landed on her behind, then Ryuto heard from a few meters behind him.
"Leave here alone!" He turned to see the blonde girl Emiko staring him down. 'I knew they worked together.' "Pick on me instead you bully!" 'How am I the bully? Whatever.' He got ready for a fight. A handicapped match was just another form of training in his mind. |

| 'No wait, she was the one with the Genjutsu.' Ryuto had to think for a moment. It was in fact the blonde who he suspected was the illusionist. 'So it turned that the con mans daughter has a partner, interesting.' This was not what he suspected but he could adapt. He took a few steps back so now the three where in a triangle. Yumi was still sitting, she kept bringing her hand up to her face. Ryuto wished she had just been knocked out. It would make this combat easier. It was now two on one, at least Ryuto knew that Yumi was at least a ninjutsu user. 'Katon eh? Well at least I know a little more about her. I also know that she has a glass jaw. Which is great for me.' Emiko was still just wearing that long shirt and short shorts. 'She appears to have no equipment, maybe she relies on her Genjutsu more than anything.' The wind swept through this standoff. Ryuto keep eye contact with Emiko. He truly did not want to fight, his mission only called for seeking how a shinobi lost his money. "Listen." Ryuto called against the wind. Emiko's facial expression soften. "I have no wish to cause you harm, I only wish to report back to my village."
"Oh yeah? Then why did you attack my friend?"
"I was defending myself."
"I don’t believe you! Yumi is a kind soul who only wants to help the unfortunate." This girl was crazy. Either she was lying in front of these people or this Yumi girl actually convinced her she was doing good, like Robin Hood. Ryuto's patience was at its end.
"Listen I'm going to walk over and pick up my weapon, if you attack me I will end you!" The genin yelled out. Emiko was almost startled. She just stood there staring. A war was going on in his head. His sense of duty and compassion were fighting. On one hand he wanted to leave these two without causing any scars or broken bones. On the other he wanted to teach these two punks a lesson. 'Am I becoming more and more like my father?' It was a realization he was starting to comes to terms with. Every day and every moment, slowly but surely his way of thinking became a tad bit more aggressive. When this started he had no clue. But that was a topic for another day. He needed to focus on the here and now. He kept his pace as he walked past Emiko to retrieve his windmill shuriken. Ryuto picked up the weapon, he turned to see Emiko standing there. She hadn't budged an inch so far. But the mission was over. There was no need to start a fight. He walked past her and made his way down the trail. Yumi shot him a nasty glare but other than that nothing.
He just walked along the trail in silence, that outburst startled him as much everyone else. Not a single soul said a thing, or even if they had he wasn't listening. 'I told someone I would end them.' He was almost shaking. In his outburst of anger he threaten to kill someone. He was fifteen and it wasn't like death was a normal thing for him. Up until now he hadn't snapped like that. It was something worth looking into but no wasn't the time. Ryuto picked up speed to try and get to the village faster. His mission was complete and for the moment that was all he wanted to do. The gates opened for the genin as he made his way through. It was still daylight so the guards must have recognized Ryuto. He made his way through the village but slowed down. He wanted to have some time before he gave his report. The sun began to move on this bizarre day. The crowd of people were still outside the administration office, 'I'm suprised there is still a long line like this.' He moved through the crowd and into the building. He made his way up the stairs to give his mission report.
