So, Minato did not just use his chakra, but Kushina's. Very, very interesting. Does this mean that there is something even more special about the mother than the father?

Well, while normally I'd write up a giant ass review on a chapter, this one didn't seem to have all that much to talk about. I found it kind of sweet and moving until Kushina started telling us how she fell in love with Minato (I hate love stories, yes). I found it funny though how Naruto was like "Your the Kyuubi's true form!" to Kushina. He totally deserved that punch, no matter how surprising it was. Who'd have thought that Kushina had a Sakura-like temperment? I totally agree with Naruto about why Kiba and Shikamaru are scared of their mothers. Kishimoto seems to have a biased view on mothers.

Naruto doesn't seem to have any sense of logic in his brain. If he has Kushina's face and hair, he's not going to be a "hunk", he's going to look like a girly boy. The idiot. And can anyone say "yuck" at "The Orange Hokage"? Red and yellow make orange alright, was that purposely done by the author or did he just realise the coincedence and add it to the chapter?

Actually, Kushina said that Minato used both of their chakra. I wonder what's so special about her chakra anyways? Kumo wanted it, and the Kyuubi was "Shit!" when those chains of chakra got him.

Also, I think that Kishimoto has a biased view on women in general. They all seem to have a pretty Sakura-like temper, excluding Hinata, who is a shy little girl who needs to grow up. x.x

Maybe Kushina has the ability to seal beasts, or restrain large amounts of chakra such as what the Kyuubi had. I think those chains have something to do with this.

I love the part where Kushina says "I'm going to be the first female Hokage." and Naruto replies, "Rock on Mom! You definitely take after me." and she says "I think it's the other way around." LOLOL Naruto is so dumb.

Maybe Kushina's chakra can render another person's chakra useless, sort of nullify it? It would explain why the Kyuubi would be scared of it. The thing's made of chakra. Naruto Manga 498 [SPOILERS] 287405

Remember the part when Minato found Kushina'a hair? A genin or chunnin found trails of hair even before jounins.
