Mission Title: Assisting the Hospital
Mission Location: Kumo Hospital - Cloudy Pass
Mission Participants: Genin
Mission Rank: C
Mission Objective: Due to an outbreak of an unknown virus throughout the hospital, doctors have employed the help of the village genin to secure vital supplies and ingredients for a cure. Your mission is to head to the Botanic Gardens located on the Cloudy Pass and grab some herbs and plants which are needed in the cure for the virus. The Doctor in charge will had out a list and you will need to find the ingredients as fast as possible. Be quick! as the situation could quickly escalate if the antidote isn't created fast.

Kumogakure's Hospital held the record of being one the largest buildings in the village itself. With the large population of villagers that inhabited Kumo a large Hospital was mandatory and more convient for everyone. A few years ago the hospital was a third of its size, but due to somewhat of a immigration expansion the builders had to build extra levels and rooms. The process was surprisingly fast seeing as how Kumogakure had a stereotype for war first and healthcare second. But none the less it was a great place for a comfortable stay for the sick with great medical service. But today, oh today... something tragic had happened. A unknown virus has struck the beloved village of Kumogakure, leaving a large chunk of the village population in a sick state. Everyone in the village who were able are doing what they can, and parents are taking extreme measures to protect their young from the virus. Kuni was healthy and young, which meant he had to do anything possible to help his village. It wasn't just him, everyone had to do their part, and him being so lower rank he got stuck with the lame jobs. Right now his mission was to pick up some ingredients from the Botanic Fields, which seemed easy enough. Standing outside of the Hospital, Kinu waited to receive the list from a Medical Ninja.

"Alright so everything clear young chap? This mission doesn't seem hard now does it? Go to the fields and get these ingredients, once done bring them back to me. Here's a small basket to put the herbs in, don't lose it. Oh... and don't mess things up, you Genin are so clumsy." She said while rolling her eyes. Kinu ignored her diva attitude and focused on the mission at hand. Taking the basket and the small list from her hands, Kinu smiled at the medic and gave her a small salute.

"Okay Ma'am. Be back with your ingredients in a few." He said with a cute wink before running off down the village roads. While darting down the village main road Kinu glimpsed at the sick villagers who seemed to be having a hard time breathing. It was a sad sight, and it saddened him even further knowing the fact that he could do nothing to help. But he couldn't stop and sulk now, he had to do his mission which could potentially help the village. His once sift stride now turned into a darting jolt after thinking about his role in helping the village. Kinu was a very determined young man, who cared for his village more then anything.

It wasn't long before he reached the Botanic Gardens in the Cloudy Pass. Even if Kuni didn't have his geographical knowledge of the village landscaping he still could tell the field apart by the alluring scent it gave off. So much flowers and fresh air turned this zone into a paradise for many, and aside for that fact that it was probably the only place in Kumo that actually had grass. Kuni grabbed his collar and plucked it foreward, getting rid of the awkward feeling his shirt caused on his lower back. It was now time for him to start his assignment, so Kuni reached into his black pockets and withdrew a small note. The writing on the paper was overshadowed by the giant red cross that was in the center. After squinting for a few seconds Kuni eyes adjusted and he began to read off the paper.

"Hm... Fire Root, Medicinal Herbs, Grass Strips, Honey Bark...oh jeez." Kuni said while slumping to his misery. An idea hit Kuni like a shuriken in a dummy. Dropping the paper and basket, Kuni did a few hand-signs and summoned his beloved monkey Dani. Dani, the golden monkey was Kuni's favorite summon and best companion. He had the ability to speak and was very intelligent. Kinu knew he would be a big help with this mission.

"Bah! What do you want! You really need to learn some new summons Kinu, I'm sick of you calling me!" Dani yapped while appearing from the thin layer of smoke from the summoning technique. Dani was quite a constantly agitated little monkey, always bickering to the smallest of things. But none the less he was very intelligent and was able to speak unlike Kuni's other summons, meaning that Kuni didn't have to telepathically talk to Dani. The small golden monkey placed his hands off his hips and crossed them over his small chest. His eyes fell off of Kuni and unto the brown basket that lay beside him. A puzzled look fell on Dani's face as he scampered closer to the basket. Kinu watched him for a moment before speaking.

"Hey Dani, and sorry to summon you. Wait, your MY summon! I can call you anytime I want!" Kinu said with a childish attitude. Before Dani could give a snappy comeback Kinu began once again. "So today we have a little mission. Our job is to collect some herbs for a little bug that has attacked a village. I need you to find herbs on the east side of the Garden while I'll go check the west side. Here, take a look at the list." Kinu said while retrieving the small list from his pockets and presenting them to Dani. With a angry face Dani nonchalantly took the paper and began to read. Kinu was sure that he was able to memorize a few of the items, but knowing how smart Dani was he knew it wasn't going to be a problem.

"Meh whatever, meet you in a few." Dani responded while tossing the paper into the air. The paper swirled around Kuni's face only to be snatched by Kuni like a bug. Kinu watched as Dani ran into the grass fields and became unseen behind the bushes of flowers and grass strains.

Kuni picked up the lame basket and placed it over his left forearm. It was surprising light given its husky appearance, but he guessed that given its purpose for collecting herbs there was no need for it to be dense. If Kuni needed to communicate with Dani for any reason he would use his Bridge of Minds Jutsu so speak with him mentally. But in a quiet and tranquil place like the Gardens there probably won't be any need for urgent communication. By this time it was time for Kuni to gather the herbs from the west side of the Garden. Casually walking down the grassy fields Kuni swayed his hand over the tall grass and embraced their cool sensation. They felt fluffy and cold, which left a cool sensation to Kuni's entire hand. Kuni decided that he would start a small competition with Dani to see who could finish first, but knowing Kuni's luck he probably wouldn't anyway.

After minutes of traveling deeper into the Botanic Garden, Kinu found himself in the midst of a strange herbal area. Instead of the trees being the fresh green color the season intended them to be, they were a dark murky brown texture. It wad odd, Kuni didn't know if the leaves were suppose to be like that or did something happen to make them this way. The grass in that area had no shine to it, no dazzle and no liveliness. Instead every strand laid flat in one direction, making the ground look like cheap carpet. "Odd..." Kuni thought while re-reading the list again. Although being very confident in his abilities Kuni honestly had no clue about herb collecting. He picked leaves from his backyard before but nothing as crucial as this. From this day forward he would have more respect for the honorable Medical Ninja in this village, because this stuff was confusing. After reading the first herb, Kuni had some-what of a good idea of what it was. Walking closer to the brown trees, Kuni plucked a few leaves from the tree and placed it in his basket. "Easy enough..." He thought with a short sigh. From there Kuni went around his little area and collected the herbs.

The process was collecting the variety of herbs for the mission was quite long. Kuni spent approximately thirty minutes inside the creepy floral picking weeds from the ground. It was a awful process that Kuni had to go threw, he knew that being a Ninja meant you had to do 'odd' jobs but this was tiresome. Occasionally he would wonder how the nurses where doing in the Hospital, goodness knows how bad it must feel knowing you had no way to cure your patients. But there was still hope, maybe these insignificant weeds Kuni was picking could create a cure... hopefully. Kuni had picked his last weed and placed it inside the basket. He was kneeling down by a small tree clapping the dirt off his hands. No matter how much he swiped his hand together the dirt would only smudge, leaving a tinted brown coat covering his entire palms. Giving up, Kuni looked at the now stuffed basket beside him, and smiled. Getting up and grabbing the basket, it was time for Kuni to meet Dani and head back to the village.

Going back to the entrance of the Botanic Garden, Kuni met with Dani who was already waiting for him. Standing straight up with his hands folded behind his back, Dani had a wide smirk on his face when seeing Kuni. "Haha beat ya, your getting slow old man." Dani greeted while pointing at the pile of herbs beside him. Kuni wasn't suprised that Dani had beaten him, not one bit. It was a little annoying though, a small monkey with a big ego always getting ahead of you. But Kuni was glad that Dani worked quickly, the sooner they got the herbs to the Hospital the better. "Alright Dani, lets go." Kuni responded as both of them proceeded out the Garden. Arriving at the hospital both Dani and Kuni were greeted by a Medical Ninja outside the entrance. After receiving the herbs from both of them she repeatedly thanked them for their effort. It was a long day indeed, but yet it was another mission complete.

A few days later a cure was created, and the village was once again in a healthy state!
