PostSubject: Sanrou Mountain [Esc] Sanrou Mountain [Esc] EmptyTue 09 Dec 2014, 10:46 pm

Holding the letter he had been refusing to open for over a week in his hand, Hiruzen sat on top of a small and overstocked backpack. Since his friend Hakumei had committed suicide last week, the letter addressed to him had been laying on his table as a result to his own inability to open it. Since she died, thoughts had been running through his head whenever he was alone in his house, which was also why he had taken on so many missions and assignments as a means of keeping himself busy. With the Raikage stating that he would only aid him if he was to change himself for the sake of the village, he had been confining himself to his home for quite some time now. He had given up a lot for the village, yet it was still not enough for the high and mighty leaders that governed the place. After all of the things he had lost because of those same people, he had a hard time dealing with the fact that none of them were willing to work with him on improving his own skill. Up until now, he had sought out new forms of power so he could restore order to the village and bring back peace to the entire country through his actions, though it seemed that all of his attempts had been in vain. Leaving him alone with his thoughts, Hiruzen had become incapable of blocking out the thoughts of Hakumei and the way in which she had taken her own life. He could not help but think that there might have been something he could have done, especially after he had stopped trying to visit her, only to have her briefly open the door to tell him that today did not work out well for her, and that was on a good day when she got out of bed long enough to tell him to leave.

With everything that had been going on lately, it had been a miracle that he had lasted this long before heading out into the world again. Two years had been spent trying to find out the meaning to an ancient text found in a basement of the Lightning Temple, something that had guided him to the fire country where he had found a similar text in the Fire Temple. Three months ago, he had finally managed to translate the text through the use of his Sharingan, a local monk and a Sennin from Konohagakure, telling him that he had to get to the Sanrou Mountain in order to continue his quest. Hiruzen was the kind of person that wanted to see something through once he had started it, and as such, not finishing up on the clues he had gathered in the temples he had visited was obviously not going to happen. Taking the money he had with him in several small pouches held on the inside of his coat, he took all of his weaponry and all other necessities with him from his room. After his recent interaction with the clan, he did not feel the need to inform anyone of his departure to continue his search for the last temple. With everyone thinking he had become a cold blooded killer for the sake of getting his kicks out of the misery of others, he doubted people would miss him as they already shunned him for what people believed had happened. If they had listened to him from the start, they would have known about everything that had gone down and why he had responded this way. Whether it had been his own fault for not constantly shoving it into their faces and leaving things for what they were and continuing on his own terms or not, he did believe that he had done his best to make people understand that what happened had not been a cruel attempt at inflicting excruciating pain.

Ever since the group known as the Prajñã had attacked him and his team on his way back from an important mission to the Land of Forests, the young Uchiha had grown feelings of anger towards the village and the people that had taken his best friends, his Sensei and his father away from him in the resulting clash. Now, only two people were left out of the three survivors after Hakumei had taken her own life, her suicide being the reason why he had gone on a mission that was supposed to be taken by an entire team of high ranking Shinobi. Handling all of it on his own, he spent a week setting up an elaborate plan that involved taking over a ship of smugglers that supplied the Prajñã organization, replaced the crew and it’s captain with disguised Shadow clones and collapsed the entire hideout once he had successfully infiltrated it and placed the shipment of weaponry that had been filled to the brim with explosives. Having taken only one person in for questioning, he had left all of the others behind to remain in pain until death claimed their souls. During the initial questioning back at the Hidden Cloud, the man had told them all about how Hiruzen had been walking among the people that were laying under the rocks, inflicting additional pain but refusing to relieve them of their pain by taking their lives himself. Once this news had come out, the clan had been informed of it, after which they could no longer see Hiruzen as the kind young man he once was. While thoughts of confronting the ruling members of the village had come up, there were still people he did not want to see hurt in his clan and the village itself. As such, it seemed like a better idea to just disappear completely without anyone hearing or seeing anything. Tossing the letter into the fireplace, he gave the burning wood a good kick, allowing the flames to lash out and set fire to the floor.

He knew that if he were to read the content of the letter, he might just do things in an emotional state that he would later regret, believing that everything would be better this way. Placing his backpack over his shoulder, he watched as the flames started consuming more of the belongings he no longer needed, as well as the things that belonged to his late parents. After the fairly recent death of his father and his mother that had died shortly after giving birth to him, the place had always been filled with a rather gloomy air. His parents had been among a small group of people that had all given their lives to keep Him alive, this being the only reason why he did not lash out at the village. He believed that he owed it to the people that had lost their lives for his sake to pardon the village, though that would only happen once. Opening the closet, he took the corpse of the man that had been interrogated by the Shinobi force and had been allowed to roam under strict protection. Knowing that his Genjutsu would have kept anyone from seeing how he snatched the man out from under their eyes, the lifeless body would serve as a way to keep people from thinking that Hiruzen had in fact left the village. Many would believe that he would have died in the fire, though there would always be people that would refuse to believe that someone like him could have died by a mere accident. With everything in place, the Uchiha got into the basement and used a technique he had developed that would allow him to move through the earth itself. Rapidly moving away from the clan compound, several minutes went by before he re-emerged on the village side of the bridge. Using the wall to rise up from the dirt to hide the usage of a jutsu from the public, he would start moving on from there, his gaze set on the large mountain that could only be seen as a small black spot on the horizon from his position as he crossed the bridge by the main gate.

See the Nukenin System regarding escaping the village to do so properly. As it stands this topic is voided.

I was only back in the village during this thread, in terms of IC progress and threads in a chronological order, i'd still be at the border of the Lightning country. I just made this thread as a summary for people in the village to read in case they wondered why he left. It was a courtesy thread at best, though I would like it if you could link me the topic you are referring to so I can change accordingly. It's ridiculously annoying to find.

After some help from Ruka, I found the things that had to be changed, changed them and am now going back to waiting.

This topic fails to heed the Traveling Rules. The reason this topic was targeted was due to the "sudden" appearance in Fire Country after this escape. Please apply these details to this thread (see rule #3 below) or post a travel thread.

Users may opt to post a travel topic or can simply post 600 words at the end of a currently running topic. During the standalone topic, or excerpt at end of post, must include all the times mentioned under the "Suggestions for when one is writing a Travel Thread" (see above).

Important details not described in this topic include the following:

  • Discuss your destination
  • Why you are going or leaving your village
  • Any trepidation you have
  • The landscape
  • The travel itself

Although "searching for the last temple" was mentioned in this topic, it is not clean cut as to where this temple is and therefore better descriptions need to be added. If I somehow missed details specifically stating that Hiruzen was traveling to the Fire Country (noted since you posted in Yoru's topics) then please let me know.

Also, in regards to Nukenin System, this topic must be submitted for evaluation and evaluated for approval of Nukenin rank. Until this requirement, and those related to traveling rules, are met - the posts made in Yoru's topics are void.

See... this is where I am starting to get borderline pissed.

Why you are going or leaving your village
THE ENTIRE THREAD IS DESCRIBING EXACTLY WHY HE IS LEAVING IN THE FIRST PLACE!

The landscape
I described that he was at the gate of the village, which stands near the bridge leading out of the village. If people really wanted more about the surroundings in case they wanted to stop me, they only had to take a peek at the forum it was made in, seeing as the whole place forum bit explains in minor detail what the place looks like. In fact, the small bit I described is the same bit you will find there, so there really wasn't all that much for me to describe.

The travel itself
There is no such thing here because I had written well over 600 words, was told I had to make some changes for the sake of the thread, which I did. After doing that, I waited almost a week before posting the Exit because as you may know, no one ever posted here again even after I posted up one posted saying "I fixed all of the stuff" and another one saying I "Exit Thread". I passed the 600 words quite some time ago, and given the fact that I have already been waiting for a fucklong time just to get everything up to the point where I could RP again, this whole thing coming up the moment I actually start writing again for the first time in a month (or longer) really feels like a dick move, especially since someone could have posted here in... I don't know, a week?

Any trepidation you have
There is nothing he fears about the village, which is a part of his personality. This is also exactly why there is none of this in the thread. He believes he did his part for the village, feels wronged and leaves, That is literally ALL there is to it.

Discuss your destination
The thread is called Sanrou Mountain, which is a location in the Iron Country, basically the very center of the place. His first stop is going to be the Hidden Leaf because he made a promise to someone to stop by there first before going to find the temple as a team.

I really like the choice of wording, which is basically that the topic was "Targeted" after a sudden appearance in a country after making an escape. Now, I don't expect people to read my older threads that explain all the things that need to happen IC wise before he can actually head down to his destination, but seriously, the timing could NOT have been any worse. Now, for the part that pisses me the fuck off, is how this only comes up the moment I start RPing. People post on my Application once or twice a day. I told people that I fixed things in THIS thread exactly one week ago, yet I decided to wait in case people still had to say something. When I FINALLY decide that enough is enough and that I am going to move on, that I am going to FINALLY start RPing again, THAT is when you people swoop in and tell me I still need to make edits and am going to have to change a load of things that hardly even make any sense for the sake of the thread. I have waited a week to get an answer as to whether or not it was okay to leave, I spoke to Miguel on Skype and I FINALLY took it upon myself to just go with it and leave on my own. Hell, I had to ask Ruka to show me where the Nukenin rules were because as some of you might know, i've always been a loyal village member who tries to keep the damn place active and fun, or i'd stop trying to get the damn Hokage-crap finished months ago when I still had Yoroi.

To finish up on things, I want to say that for Hiruzen, the vast majority of his plot is centered around the Ninja Monk profession, something I have been working up to ever since he was first created. Several people have come up to me and told me that they thought it sounded like a legitimate and interesting plot, though if things keep moving this way, I won't even get to bloody finish it. The fact that people are honestly considering making the Ninja Monk profession, something I ALONE AM USING into a Taijutsu/Nintaijutsu based profession alone is enough to make me want to blow my brains out, and that's just out of sheer anger. I mean come on, you asked me and Todd to remake the thing, I spent two days working everything out, making jutsu for it, working on making it diverse and accessible for everyone regardless of their specialties, yet now I hear that people want to take the thing that I alone am using and turning it into something I can't even use? The fact that people are out of their minds is really starting to shine through when people like Rukasu are telling me in the Cbox that it looks like "Staff has it out for you". That said, I knew shit was going to happen when I went through the Chatbox archives and saw ReturningYoru cursing things like "Fucking Hiru", and about how he would get Staff to fix things for him because I was "Ruining his plans". At the time, I told him I was not planning on killing him and that it was about plot, though PartyPooper&Co already swooped in and murdered the fun of Roleplaying yet again, so congratulations for that.

This is exactly why I have not been RPing for quite some time, because I did not feel like I wanted to invest as much time into a place that does not like me or anything I try to do. All of this just acknowledges those feelings.

1. If I had some sort of personal grudge against you then you can trust me when I say "I would be doing more than just trying to make sure the rules are being followed". Don't take that as a threat because it isn't one. I'm just letting you know I have no interest in being framed as " someone who's out to get you" when I am merely trying to do the job given.
2. Reason it took a week was due to the fact I have a "goldfish" memory - which many could vogue for - and the brief mentioning of the travels, mentioned by a member, sparked my memory and therefore I replied. I did not purposely wait until you started rping again. I'm just busy as hell between rping in 5 different topics while trying to keep up on the stack of evaluations people persistently enjoy reminding me about daily. Pardon me for not remembering other things as I dabble in other affairs.
3. Monk Profession is still being discussed. Just keep rping the way it currently is in the guide provided.
4. Sorry it's taking so long with the Hokage app, been trying to keep people on top of that but Im not living their life so I don't know what they're dealing with. Seeing as how I haven't personally touched it, it's currently not in my hands nor will it be any time in the near future due to personal limitations.
5. Equating staff work to not liking someone is a silly concept to go by. Do I give people 2's on evals because I hate them? No. Do I deny jutsu because I hate them? No. I can't speak for other staff members, since I'm not them, but this is my standpoint.
6. Thanks for taking time to explain. Carry on.

1. I pretty much explained all of the stuff you told me needed fixing before, though I don't know what about it still needs to actually be done after I explained all of it. So what do I even need to do at this point?

2. Be that as it may, you were not the person who was originally checking it, so I dont see how you having a goldfish memory would in any way translate to someone else not checking back in here. Trey was the one who originally jumped on this thread like an hour after it was put up, yet it rests for a week without a single person bothering to look at it, because "It's just Vergil".

3. You say that I should just continue as planned, but if I had continued as planned, i'd have several Jutsu in my arsenal by now and would not constantly have to worry as to whether or not I will, once again, lose the foundation on which a character has been built because someone wanted to change things on a whim. You'll have to excuse me if the entire thing is extremely infuriating and frustrating, especially since this has been mucking on for months without end. I was asked to help out with it, but from what I am hearing from various members of staff, none of the stuff I did is even being discussed, though people feel the need to suddenly make it Taijutsu/Nintaijutsu, two things my character does not possess. Who would have guessed that the changes would affect the only person who even uses the damn profession? Uh, me, because I heard talk about it before and the entire thing was disproven at the time, so why it keeps getting brought up is honestly... beyond me.

4. The Hokage app really is not the biggest problem I am dealing with here on US, it's the fact that whenever I get something or have someone promise me something, I have to stick around long enough for people to either go back on their word partially or entirely or have something get taken from me for no reason other than the fact that someone had a fit and wanted things changed. Trust me when I say that the One post a day on the Hokage app really is a good pace both for me and most likely also for the person checking it as it does not feel rushed, nor does it feel like it's laying around for too long.

5. The standing of one person does not mean everyone thinks alike.

6. You're welcome, though I do not feel like we've been moving forward At all.

1. I told you to carry on.
2. Trey stared working more hours recently and possibly forgot. I'm not sure. I'm not Trey. Saying "its just Vergil" is victimizing yourself.
