The world was slowly, but drastically changing. Everywhere you looked, new nations were giving birth, and more shinobi were brought into the world. Newer jutsu were introduced, and legends were brought from their graves back onto the surface of the living world. All of this happened while Kirigakure sat peacefully in the ocean, as its horizon was the coasts of the neighboring nations that could soon, one day, turn against Kiri. Maybe even each other. War seemed inevitable these days, as nations grew greedy and smug of power. As kages became more powerful as they learned more about the world around them. Soon, that greed could cause a war that will effect all shinobi. Hyuuga, Demo; a Jounin of Kirigakure, was not going to sit by while Kiri waded in the newly developing world.

The morning was just as it always was. Gloomy, wet, and peaceful. This was a normal morning in Kirigakure, as the village was known for its misty, rainy, and cloudy weather. Demo was awaken by a small dog barking that belonged to his neighbor next door, but he was used to the dog barking as it basically was his alarm clock. However, he had to wake up early today, as he was going to go relax come the afternoon during the small storm to come in soon. He put on his Jounin jacket, secured his weapon pouches and went on his merry way. By time he was done making sure no one needed help in the village, it would be around twelve o'clock in the evening.

As Demo walked around the village to see if anyone needed help, he noticed in the far off distance that large black clouds were rolling in to bring forth a powerful storm onto Kirigakure. As he watched the clouds pile over one another, he thought about how the sky would be stained with black blood as it roared through the heavens above. It was seconds later that a streak of lightning struck the forest that surrounded Kiri, catching a small tree aflame, but as quick as the lightning struck it, it was charred. Leaves, caught on fire withered on the ground as they were scorched by the intense flames until they were black. Could this be a omen? After standing there for a few moments, he continued on to do his next duty, which was to make sure the posts were up and running like they were supposed to.

The Kirigakure walls were just a few feet larger than his summon, Akasan, who usually did not like being summoned in Kirigakure because he's intimidated by the large walls that tower over him just a bit. Demo bent his legs a bit, and in an instant he jumped from building to building until he reached the post stations. As the time edged towards eight o'clock, Demo tried to avoid conversation with the postmen. The postmen stood there, not noticing him as they watched the horizon that could any moment be invaded by enemies. Demo smiled, swiftly jumped down, and went out the gates towards the Forest of Fog.

Demo did not have any trouble traveling through the forest, as he was a native to the land and new the landscapes very well. As he navigated through the large number of trees, that seemed to be at least fifty feet tall, his eyes darted left to right looking for something. He did this for about an hour until he finally stopped and started laughing a bit. What he was looking for was the place in which he came to relax.

In front of Demo was a very large, white bark tree. The trunk was about fifty feet in width and the tree was a shocking two-hundred feet. On what seemed to be the front of the tree was a large metal door. Demo walked up to the tree, patted it, and opened the large door. Inside, there was a large table, that seemed to be made of a very fine bluish-stone. Large, stone seats were placed around the table. Candles were flickering from each corner of the walls of the inside. Demo looked up and saw a large assortment of leaves and such. He sat down, just to relax, however he knew genin came in these parts sometimes, so he wouldn't mind some company.

(I was going to wait for someone else to post before me...But, I got tired of waiting...)

Yet another day has passed in the beautiful Land of Water, yet another memory was formed in the mind of every human in the world. The feeling of transience, it was always there, in each human. Some were ignorant about it, living a boring and dull everyday life, while some realized that it was there and they lived a life full of excitement, hiding the fear of transience deep inside of their minds. How foolish was that, eh? Well, Marcus Hoshi was a man who was quite different. He lived his life knowing that one day everyone will die so, instead of bothering with that little fact, he tried to prevent that from happening earlier that it was supposed to happen. But, to do so, he needed more power, power in numbers, power in strength, the type of power which he was gathering was not important at all.

On such a quest, the young Marcus gained a Summoning Jutsu, together with an contract with an animal kind. After doing so, he was one step close at accomplishing his goals. Now, he was set to get something else, the powers in numbers. As he was on his way towards the Hidden Mist Village, after signing the Sparrow Contract, the young man got an message from an other Mist Jounin. It seemed that there was a meeting going on today, and all Jounins were invited. How interesting; thought the young Marcus, as he read the message on loud, so even his Sparrow friend could hear it. That was because, at the moment, the young Marcus was on top of his sparrow summon, flying towards the village. Flying was a lot more fun than walking and running, so if he is able to do so, why waste time on walking if you can just fly?

Anyways, after reading the entire message, the young man dropped the peace of paper, as it was not important now. "It seems that we will have to do a little detour Shak, are you up for it?" Using a nice and calm voice Marcus spoke, directing his words to the mighty sparrow on which he was currently, asking him for permission to change direction. Well, this seemed a little bit strange, since masters usually do not ask their summons what they want. Well, that was yet another difference between Marcus and some other humans, as he considered his summons as friends, and he considered Shak as an equal. Anyways, after hearing the voice of his master, the mighty sparrow replied: "I really do not care, this decision is all on you." Unlike Marcus, Shak was an loyal kind of summon, serving his master at all times. He knew that the young man would not have accepted no for an answer, so he decided not to bother with declining and instead, he made his master decide.

Like the mighty sparrow has predicted, the young Marcus just moved his hand towards the direction where the meeting was supposed to be, so Shak just changed his course towards that area. The area where they were supposed to meet was called The Forest of Fog, a really large forest with an mist cowering it always, no matter what season it was. That seemed to be a quite strange place for a group of people to have a meeting, who knew what the man who organized it was planning to do. Now that he was actually on his way to the meeting, Marcus used a few moments to think about this whole meeting idea, and what could be the reasons for this Hyuuga Jounin to invite all of the Hidden Mist Village highest shinobis. There were several reasons for that, but frankly, Marcus did not even knew this man so he was unable to conclude which one was it.

As fast as they could, Marcus and Shak reached the Forest of Fog, hovering 1 meter above the trees. From that point, Marcus jumped off his summon, gently landing on a tree branch bellow him. Then, he made a single hand movement, giving his summon a signal to disappear. Just as he did that, Shak vanished in a cloud of smoke, which appeared out of a sudden. After the disappearance of his friend, the young shinobi jumped off the tree branch, reaching another one which was on a lower level that the previous one. He continued to do that, all the way till he reached the lowest possible branch, there he suddenly stopped. From that point, Marcus looked around, searching for an trail of some sort. Accidentally, he found a trail which seemed to have fresh signs of footsteps, from someon who passed there a few moments ago.

Following those footsteps, Marcus reached a white bark tree, quite large it was. Among the things which he noticed in the area, there was a large metal door, located in front of the tree. Curious, he slowly approached the door, opening them slowly and carefully. As he did that, the young shinobi used his hearing to see if there was anyone breathing inside. At the same times, he made a little peek with only his right eye, noticing a other young man inside, recognizing his as an fellow Mist Jounin. Since it was obviously no traps around, he slowly entered the room, sitting on a chair on the opposite side of the table. With a smile on his face and calm voice Marcus spoke, saying only a couple of words: "Hello there, I am Marcus Hoshi. You requested a Jounin meeting, so I came."
