| Okay, so, I have two questions.
Let's say I make a character and she has Weaponry and Taijutsu as first and second specialty respectively.
a) can she use elemental Ninjutsu combined with Tai and Weaponry (a sword that uses fire, for example, or punching with fire), or does she have to get Ninjutsu as a 3rd spec first?
b) can she use any basic Ninjutsu, aka non-elemental Academy techs? |

| Just to clarify, all characters can use Academy Techniques.
If your specialty is not Ninjutsu, you have up to 5 Ninjutsu Slots (N/A for Genin). These can be accessed at D Rank when you are a Chuunin or a Jounin, or at C Rank when your character hits S Rank. Of course, this can be circumvented by learning Ninjutsu as a Third Specialty when you hit Jounin. |

| Yeah, but can't I use Weaponry techniques combined with Elemental Ninjutsu? For example, a B ranked Weaponry+Lightning tech. |

| Logic wise, if you have elemental affinities and weapons that are chakra conductive, they can be used to like.... be sharper because of lightning vibrations, have cutting wind follow up on all of the strikes of your sword, etc etc. It shouldn;t require Ninjutsu if your weapons are chakra conductive. |

| Can you specifically combine a ninjutsu with a weapon jutsu, without ninjutsu as a spec? No. Can you use a weaponry tech that has an elemental component without ninjutsu as a spec? Yes. |
