35mX35m stage, participants will start at the middle of the stage and are 5m across from one another. This means that they are standing on a single 'gridblock' with a line between them. The combatants will face west and east, and the statue of the hand seal is on the north and south ends of the stage. There is no elevated balcony for people to watch. The entire room is made of concrete except for the statue, which is made of an extremely hardened stone which does not break easily.
The Jounin Proctor stands at the center between Kurogane and Kirito. The proctor waits for a few seconds once both combatants appear ready to start. He raises a white flag high into the air for a second to acknowledge the beginning of the match. After three seconds he brings the flag down in a blur and yells start. The Jounin moves out of the way instantly to watch the match.
Let the match begin!

"Water Release: Water Needles" Kirito said quietly making eight senbon above him. As he fired all eight at All of the spots that Kurogane would move until he got him or they all missed, As he took out both of his swords (Elucidator & Dark Repulser).

| Kurogane vs. Kirito
Well wasn’t this a surprise. His opponent was the possible the only other Yuki ninja that he was aware of. From what Kuro remembered of this boy, they’re battle had been short and that’s how he expected this one to be. He wanted to waste no time on the first round and get through the battle quickly. His heart had been racing since he had traveled to this foreign countries with the other Genin and their sensei for the tournament. Knowing that his first opponent was someone he faced previously got rid of some of the jitters he had. The Genin studied his surroundings The room for the most part was bare besides the statue that stood to his left.
Kuro brought his gaze on his opponent and studied the swordsman. If he started the battle as he did previously, he would start it with using the hidden mist technique. It was a mystery how this ninja knew such a move, considering it was unique to the now destroyed hidden mist. Maybe he was one of the refugees from that village? Not that it mattered at the moment, Kuro's only concern was winning this match.
“Let the match begin!”
synchronized, they both took a few steps back, increasing the distance between the two be five meters. the over talkative opponent didn’t seem to quiet down, trying to provoke Kuro with meaningless words. His attempts were futile since getting Kuro riled up would take much more then that.
Oh no you don’t!
The position Kirito was taking was that of his mist technique. He recognized it from the last battle he had with him. without missing a beat, Kuro pulled three kunai and attached an explosive tag to each of them. He launched one right at Kirito’s chest, and the other two to each of his sides about half a meter from where he was just in case if he tried to avoid it by dodging to the left or right. The mist had started to become quite thick, but Kuro could estimate the time of arrival that the kunai would take to reach his opponent, and formed a seal to detonate the explosives, which would heavily damage his opponent if he was caught in it.
Not knowing if his attack hit due to the heavy mist, Kuro took a few steps back and pulled out a scroll, unrolling it in the process. The Genin was now out of the mist and had summoned his iced gourd. Kuro crouched down behind the gourd, just in case if any projectile was launched at him. From where he stood, he was 3 meters away from where the mist was. If Kirito did approach him, Kuro would see him coming with enough time to react.

| Kirito would watch as Kurogane moved back just like he did making this technique pretty useless if there's not a target within the mist. As the mist became thinker and thinker, Kirito could still see Kurogane even if the mist would gotten fully think he can still see him. As he notice his movement not just moving back but also the movement of tossing. Kirito would have to e careful about what Kirogane tossed at him, as he jumped back and moved back until meeting the wall as he her the spin of metal traveling at a quick speed. Once they got close enough, Kirito notice the Explosive tags this was a big deal as once as Kirito saw them they activated causing three massive explosions as the smoke would not be seen because of the mist. The thick layer of mist would disappear as the smoke cloud would vanish as Kirito would be seem run towards Kurogane as his left and right side of the shoulders would seem burn also his arms a bit, what this meant was that once he saw the Kunai what was sent to his chest he reflected to the right one causing it to bounce to the ground only getting hit by two explosive tags.
This was a bit thing to Kirito he was injured so early in the match but this wasn't the end of this battle, this was far from over as he demonstrated another hand signs as he tops both Of his Blades at Kirogane's chest and face "Gale Wind Palm" Kirito shouted as both his hands converted chakra and at the speed of Kirito they accumulated enough wind to use the technique as Kirito shoot a whirlwind that pushed the blades with enough force that they could pierce a boulder in half and shattered it. Once that was made Kirito moved a bit faster and performed another Han sign "Water Clone Technique" Kirito said as this clone was a decode for another move as the clone took the pace before Kirito did as once as he was close to Kurogane even if he courter that technique or dodged it by moving to his left, right, or Up the clone would follow. He got close enough for Kirito to make his detonate by turning back to water in that process Kirito used the Tiger and Dragon sign to turn the water form that clone to a "Water Prison". As Kirito Would look at Kurogane and Grin "That Ain't half of it Yet" He said.

| Kurogane Vs. Kirito
The mist faded rather quickly just like it had in his previous battle with Kirito. by the look of the kid, it seemed like his explosive attack had connected. The boy wasted no time as he was now running towards Kuro. His two swords were launched at the Genin at high speeds by the help of what seemed like the Gale Wind Palm jutsu, a technique Kuro was familiar with. Kuro distanced himself from his gourd as the swords pierced through the iced container. small cracks were formed on the gourd from the attack, sending water to pour from them.
The boy continued to run towards him, forming a water clone technique in the process. Kuro removed one of the blades that was pierced into his gourd and used it to slice the water clone in half before it had the chance to go on the offensive. If by some chance, Kuro’s attack was blocked, he would pull out his katana from off his back and slice the clone at an angle. With the clone gone, Kuro face Kirito. The genin’s back now faced the statue. The advantage Kuro had was clear. His opponent was disarmed, and he had at least used up half of his chakra at this point. All Kuro had to do now was seal the deal.
Kuro tossed the foreign blade to the floor, landing close to the gourd that had now formed a small puddle of water on the floor. Still holding his katana, he began to form hands seals with his opposite hand. A group of nine black tinted ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows charged his opponent. The needles would follow it’s opponent even if he dodges at least 3 times before they would strike him. If by some chance, the needles failed to land a hit. Kuro would continue to form hand signs, forming a water whip to entrap his enemy, binding him so that he wouldn’t be able to move. This battle was his, all he had to do was wait for his opponent to say the magic words or beat him until he went unconscious.

| Kirito ran towards Kurogane as he stopped to see Kurogane dodged his blades, quickly pocking one up and slicing the water clone in a right angle so that he wouldn't convert to his next form. That was all good and enough to counter does move this was just a waste of chakra in Kirito's part with a bit of chakra left Kirito would have to be careful how he used it. Kirito ha to take the defensive now as Kurogane took the offensive.
Kirito noticed that Kurogane tossed the his blade to the floor, close to the gourd that had now formed a small puddle of water on the floor and also near his other blade. Kurogane holding his katana, he began to form hands seals with his opposite hand. A group of nine black tinted ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows charged his opponent. The needles would quickly make action and Kirito had a small plan, not enough to win but to have a bit more in the match As quickly as he could Kirito performed several hand signs "Water Needles" Kirito said as seven long water needles would connect with the ice needles, they were still two left coming his way, which he allowed them to pierce his body, which they did this would hurt Kirito as he felt to his knees. Kuro would continue to form hand signs, forming a water whip, as he swigged that water whip at Kirito in pain. Kirito would face the ground as he grinned as he was kneeling he was performing hand signs "Puffer Fish Shield" Kirito said as the ice needles in his body turn to water again using that to turn to his shield as the whip would surround Kirito in a circular From the puffer fish shield would stretch the whip enough for Kirito to move.
Kirito jumped to his left still hurt a bit but not done. Kirito would slowly walk towards his opponent not caring if Kurogane would attack or not he walked towards him with no plans to attack. Getting close enough to place his Hand on Kurogane shoulder "looks like you were the better Yuki after all, this doesn't mean you and me don't have a rivalry." Kirito told Kurogane with a smile in his face, Kirito turn around to the Jounin that started the match as he raised his hand " I Yuki, Kirito, Forfeit!" Kirito said as he turn around and walk to the benches on top.

Name: Ninpou; Fugu Tate - Puffer Fish Shield Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: Suiton Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Village: Kirigakure Description: This jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will cause a fast acting shield of water to be drawn and created from a nearby water source; if there is enough moisture in the air, they will be able to complete it with that alone. The shield can defend numerous people and is very durable. The shield takes the form of a sphere that wraps around those it is protecting. Because of the shield's form, it divvies the weight and force of incoming attacks along the whole surface, thus making it extremely durable. Piercing jutsu are strong against this jutsu, as long as they are of the same rank or higher than this defensive ninjutsu. More blunt forces are highly ineffective. Taijutsu attacks are rendered almost completely useless, unless they are used at a B rank level, and focus their attack to one area, like a piercing attack, such as a punch or kick. Earth ninjutsu are able to break through this shield at the D rank due to elemental weaknesses and strengths. Chakra Cost: 7

| Valrouge, Kurogane vs. Yuki, Kirito
Kuro watched as the boy used his water needles to block against some of the incoming swallows, but it didn’t prevent two of them from piercing the boy’s body. While this was happening, Kuro used the water whip to capture his opponent. The boy’s distraction with the projectiles made it easy for the Genin to land his technique. What Kuro didn’t expect was for Kirito to loosen the grip and escape from his grasp, ultimately prolonging the battle a lot longer than he had hoped.
Kirito began to walk towards Kuro defenseless. He was stripped of his blades, and didn’t even bother to take out one of his kunai. Not knowing what he had planned, Kuro pulled out the other sword that was pierced into his gourd and preceded to walk toward Kirito before they now stood face to face. The blade Kuro held was placed to the boy’s throat. The katana in his other hand at his side, but ready just in case the boy tried anything funny. The tip of the katana met the hand placed on Kuro shoulder, it’s point driving through the skin of the boy sending a drip of blood to slide down the steeled blade. Kuro’s gaze was focused on the boy, ready to drive the blade through the boy’s arm.
His katana dropped once he heard the words exit the boy’s mouth. He had surrendered after stating Kuro to be the better Yuki. The Genin’s eyes widen in shock. He stood there motionless and confused. Kuro faced the jonin proctor who nodded to confirm that the match was now over. Kuro sheathed his katana and sealed away his gourd before he left the stadium. His thoughts picking at the words that Kirito said. He had won the match, but there was still this feeling of emptiness.
A rivalry huh?
