PostSubject: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptySun 18 Jan 2015, 8:59 am

The youth sat on the wagon uneasily, the silence between him and the "driver" having persisted for the best part of the last hour. He sneaked a side glance at his companion: a blonde kunoichi, whom he had the displeasure of meeting once briefly on the most random of days and during a most unusual incident. They had not learned each other's names then, hence why he didn't know that she was the one he would be performing this task with. Blonde-brat and Inzeipoop. What a team.

The youth had met her by chance. While travelling down the main road from Kumogakure to the Snow country, she had originally raced past him in a wagon, and neither thought nothing of it. But then she stopped and asked him if he had seen what seemed all to well to describe the golden freak. It didn't take a difficult mental leap from her line of questioning to the conclusion, that they might be in the same team. A name exchange followed briefly and... well here they were.

The two spoke about their mission at length, discussing how they would approach the task ahead of them. Originally it's all they talked about and theories flew around left and right, but as the topic ran its course, they had nothing left to talk about. For the greater part of the journey, they sat in silence, as the sound of the cart moving across the road and the clip-clapping of the horses' hooves, filled the audial void. Even with the help of the two powerful animals, the journey was long and tedious. The boy tried to read and focus on his book, but he couldn't help but occupy his thoughts with what was to come.

But eventually they arrived in the Rain Country and it was time, yet again, to break that awkward silence and discuss what was to come. The next few hours would be crucial. Rain welcomed them almost the very moment they had ridden past the border. It was late afternoon, so the sun was nearly ready to set, yet it lingered on the skyline for the moment, lighting their way. The roads were empty, and minus the sounds of the cart and horses and the pitter-patter of the rain, they were alone.

"So to refresh our memories, Bakuho is a former Ame medical-nin, who was run out because he spent too much time with corpses. We can definitely rule out Amegakure itself as his possible location. It's also unlikely that he would have stayed in the towns close to it. Which only leaves a few settlements for us to check out" they had already discussed this, but the journey had been long and hard, and he needed both his own brain and the girl up to speed as quickly as possible.

"This guy likes his corpses, so a place with a big hospital or graveyard is where he's going to want to be. Maybe we should ask around if there have been cases of corpses going missing. If we're lucky, it will be that simple. If not it might be worthwhile to find out if there have been any odd accidents or if a town is plagued by an unusually high death rate. If he can't find readily available corpses, he might be providing them himself." It felt good to talk again.

"Okay, so we got to figure out where necrophilia parties would go down."

Norio had a great idea and his logic was sound.  Akiko nodded in agreement keeping her eyes peeled. Her idea would have been to search for signs of Inzei and maybe he could lead them to their goal but she quickly dismissed it realizing that would only lead them to Inzei and not necessarily their prize. She wanted think of a quick way to find out which hospitals fit their descriptions but that took patience Akiko did not have. This journey was long and quiet enough for her and her body called for action and the plan made her have a sense of purpose. She could only mentally sing the same song for so long.

They duo took routes passing by or near graveyards looking for anything that would give them a clue as to where to look next. Occasionally they would stop by taverns or pubs to ask directions to the next graveyard and about any strange happenings in town. The girl tried to do the talking but failed at laying low, preferring to draw attention to herself and therefor draw in her fish. Norio took control of the majority of questioning and Akiko focused all her attention on clues.  It had been nearly two hours and nothing significant had been gained in regards to legitimate information. The sun hadn't been set long, the sky slightly dusky but the evening was upon them. The horses had been walking non stop since they arrived in Rain Country and it was just about time for the horses to take a well deserved break.

"Okay, it's getting dark and the horses need to be fed. I don't want them to walk much longer without something in their bellies. We will stop to feed them at this graveyard, hmm? I know time is of the essence so go ahead and look around while I get them all good and healthy." She cooed the last part of her sentence at the horses.

Once she stopped though, Akiko noticed something strange. This graveyard had a whole lot of recently dug graves, the muddy piles indicating some wholes haven't been filled yet.  Akiko put on her mask feeling suspicious for the first time in any of the few places they visited.  Also the rain was bothering her, constantly hitting her face from some angle or another, the mask helped with that.

"There are a lot of recently dug graves her for such a small little village, don't ya think?" Akiko said hopping off the cart and grabbing the feed off of their saddle packs and then letting them eat scoops of it out of her palm. The blonde hitched them to a post next to the cart, talking to them in hushed baby voices. The kunoichi shook her head at chuckled at herself, realizing how ridiculous a person in a mask like hers being motherly to horses. Once fed, Akiko would follow Norio into the graveyard to further investigate.

PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptySun 18 Jan 2015, 10:43 am

Having agreed on a course of action, the due set off. They sought out graveyards, the youth using his Byakugan to look for any oddities that may alert them to the nearby presence of their target. Freshly dug out graves or recently filled out holes was the main point of interest, but his all seeing eyes could not find anything conclusive.

When it was time to mingle with the people and ask about directions and strange happenings, the youth would use a simple henge transformation to masquerade as an old man, seeking to open a funeral home. This was a solid enough cover to allow the two to pose question relating to deaths, graveyards, missing corpses, weird accidents and anything else that could point towards Bakuho. Of course, though the boy physically appeared as an old man, something was inherently off about the duo. The girl was rather unable to stay low, and though she played the part of being his daughter and sold the same story he peddled, people were wary of her. As for Norio, he tried his best to mask his voice, but it was hard to do so. Fortunately, an old man's voice could be paraded as frail and quiet, so he whispered hoarsely and forced his vocal chords as much as he could, to imitate a convincing enough sound.

However effective his disguise, the duo learned little. They attracted a lot of attention however, for good or for worse. It wasn't completely unlikely that they could draw Bakuho out... or maybe more realistically, someone connected to him. Maybe Norio was being far too hopeful, but then again, their cover was so unlikely that while it might just trick the innocent bystander, a guilty party could grow suspicious. Two strangers asking questions about corpses and death. Might be worth investigating.

The two stopped by yet another graveyard. Norio remained seated on the wagon. He was donning his henge, having not released the jutsu for the entirety of the last two hours. His Byakugan had been on and off, and yet still, the combined strain of using the two jutsu for such a long period of time was beginning to show. There were beads of sweat on his forehead, his eyes were hurting and he felt more tired than he should have. He reached to his backpack for a soldier pill, but even that didn't bring as much vigour back to him, as he hoped. And it tasted awful.

With the girl focused on the horses, the youth once again activated his doujutsu, granting him a far reaching vision. His eyes looked around the graveyard, noting like the girl had, that there was a lot of dug out graves. But no bodies in them. His vision searched further, hoping to see some clues as to why these holes were here. He found nothing, except for some tools and a still burning lantern. "No sign of anyone, tools near the graves, lit lantern by a hole" he reported dully. The day was wearing on him. Had this been two hours ago, he would have inferred from this information that the hole diggers should be somewhat nearby.

All of the sudden, his ears were alerted to a sound of footsteps coming from nearby. Crap! His tiredness had led him to be sloppy. Though the Bykaguan saw far and practically everywhere around the user, if the user wasn't paying attention or if he was focused specifically on one area, it was possibly even for him, to miss something rather obvious and close. It was easy to become complacent when one had such a powerful ability on hand.

"On your guard" he whispered as loudly as he dared, though he himself continued to sit on his wagon looking in a different direction, as if unaware of the five men walking quite determinedly towards him. And why should he be aware of a possible danger? He was an old man with poor hearing and poorer sight. Easy pickings for entrepreneurial bandits.

PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptySun 18 Jan 2015, 11:46 am

The old man said his warning and Akiko started to hear the footsteps from behind, being out of sync with the rain. Akiko had been on her guard but really hated all this waiting.  She looked over at him as he stayed looking foreword as if nothing was happening. Akiko sighed, not wanting to look about and cause suspicion herself. The girl kept her face towards the horses, her mask in this situation was a hindrance and was suspicious itself. Akiko cursed herself for not thinking of an excuse for this type of situation.

The footsteps stopped approached the  from behind her and walked straight up to Norio. Akiko took the opportunity to remove her mask and slowly put it back within her hoodie. Time to act.

"Hey there stranger. You two look a little lost?" One of the men said to Norio in disguise.  They all chuckled to each other menacingly as if they were all in on a bad inside joke.

"We are f-fine." Akiko said innocently, looking at towards her father for reassurance and for a hint of a plan.

"Well, we would be inclined to believe that if you two hadn't been asking so many questions about graveyards, hospitals and such. Just curious, what are you guys wanting to know?" The curious hairy stranger said to Norio, now ignoring Akiko.

He started to question Norio with a string of questions. Akiko paid little mind though as she studied the group's body language. They were all tense and on edge. Weapons were not easily visible due to the heavier clothing they wore to resist the rain but could be there. They all seemed prepared and awaiting orders. They all kept looking at the man talking to Norio. He must be the signal man. She also couldn't help but notice that they kept taking their eyes off of her.

Not wanting to be the one ambushed and lacking Norio's gift of eyes, Akiko decided to take action. She did not want to use her chakra since she did not know what the battle ahead had in store. With a swift hand, Akiko removed one kunai with her right hand and sent it launching at the speaking bandit aiming at his crotch. As soon as the kunai left her hand, Akiko rushed the man next to him. She took a few quick steps at him before jumping high above his head, her body crouched before unspringing her left leg into his throat. A loud crunch erupted from his larynx as he fell to the ground.

Akiko giggle to herself, "Ha. crunchy."

The blonde turned to her kunai's target whom was on the ground wailing in pain from the blade in his bladder. With two down, Akiko turned to see how Norio handle the situation, readying herself to assist.

PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptySun 18 Jan 2015, 12:25 pm

The men approached the wagon fearlessly - confidently. They looked rough and mean, your usual somewhat-cliché no-good delinquents, most often found knocking two heads in a bar. The Byakugan saw through their ragged outfits and past their dirt stained hands (most of which, were cockily placed in their pockets), to see concealed weapons. Daggers for the most part, though one man had a spoon for a... weapon? There was surely an interesting story behind that.

The leader of this tough band stopped a few steps ahead of the rest, addressing the old man and his "daughter" with a kind question. Or maybe it would have been if not for the rather unpleasant intonation and the malicious laugh that sounded from his lackeys. The girl answered before Norio could. The men gave her a look that made even the cold-hearted boy want to snap their necks.

"I'm looking to open a funeral home, young sirs" the old-man Norio replied, keeping up with his story, his old-man voice nailed at this point. It's the only voice he had been using for the last two hours. But regardless of its validity, the head-honcho didn't seem to buy his lie.

"Yes I heard this bullshit story of yours? It smells mighty fishy don't it boys?" the man spout out the words, his companions nodding their heads and whooping like a crowd at a show.
"I just want to say a respectful farewell to those who have passed and provide comfort for their families, before I myself join them in the ground" he replied sombrely. Already the boy was growing tired of keeping up appearences, and he knew the girl had a short fuse. The clock was ticking.

"Tell me" he said, before the bandit could speak up again and say something pointless, wasting everyone's time. "You wouldn't know anything about this graveyards, hospitals and such business would you?" The man had a good poker face, but there was no doubt that the question startled him and had hit far too close to home.

"Those hands are dirt-stained, as are your clothes. Been doing much digging lately?" the boy put forward his accusation. It was the reaction of one of the lackeys that told him that he had hit the nail on the head. "Grave robbing then?" the old man affirmed his suspicious loudly. The boss grimaced in response, his face crunching up as if he had been stung by a wasp. "What we do ain't no business of yo-" his sentence was cut off as the blonde-brat sprung into action. This was Norio's cue too.

Leaping from the wagon, the form of the old man vanished in a blink, replaced by the lithe, tiny figure of the white-haired boy. His body flew into his first target like a bullet, his legs extended, delivering a powerful kick to the head that threw the unsuspecting man down to the ground immediately. Grabbing his concealed dagger, the boy rushed forward, throwing it at the leg of his second opponent. The blade lodged painfully in the flesh, causing him to crouch down. Before he could look up or position himself to block the incoming attack, Norio planted a fist to the side of his face. The third opponent tried to be smart and attempted to flee, but the youth's hand fired off chakra strings that attached themselves to the coward's legs and pulled him to the ground. The sound of his face smashing into the earth was deeply satisfying.

"Why are you robbing the graves?" the boy shouted towards the leader, though the question was open to all of the group. "Is someone paying you?" he asked, this time more forcefully, his foot stepping painfully on the fingers of one of the henchmen. The sound of the yelping kunai-crotched leader ruined the tense mood. That's it. Time to for the girl to do some of the heavy lifting in this mission.

"Make him talk" the thirteen year boy ordered the sixteen year old girl. What a serious duo.

PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptyMon 19 Jan 2015, 7:37 am

Akiko frowned for a moment at Norio ordering her around but he was right. The bandit had to talk and time was wasting. Sighing heavily, Akiko casually walked up to the leader  and removed the kunai from his upper crotch.  He let out a shriek before holding his wound as he tried to slow the bleeding. Blood began to wet his clothing and Akiko could tell if he didn't get medical attention soon he would probably die.

She smiled at the whining man before walking back to the man who she kicked in the throat. With a quick movement, she bent down and slashed the kunai across his broken neck and ended his life. Akiko did not like to see someone suffer and plus the man had no way of telling her the location. Most importantly, this was a classified mission and leaving these men alive was a risk she knew her team couldn't have.

This was the first time she knew for sure she had killed someone. If she wasn't already tired from the trip Akiko would probably tried to find a way without taking there lives, but her patience was thin. With that, she stood up straight and  walked over to the man Norio had kicked in the head.  He was obviously knocked-out but Akiko spoke to him anyway.

"Who are you robbing graves for?" She said calmly. She waited a second before continuing, "No? You have nothing to say? . . .Wellp"

A split second after she said wellp, she slammed the kunai into the downed mans heart, causing him to awaken before the life quickly exited his eyes. The girl knew the groups boss was watching, hearing him audibly being upset as she ensured that two of his partners were dead. She knelt before him before speaking.

"Now now, don't be upset." She patted the man's head reassuringly. "They died because they did not tell me why you guys are robbing these graves. I really really really don't like killing people. It's savage and brutish but just like you, we all have to do what we have to do."

"I am not saying a thing to you! You killed my friends!"

"Oh! so they were more than just working acquaintances! I am so sorry we took them away from you." Akiko said sadly but her genuine smile that coupled with her words just made the man even more pissed off.

"Fuck you!"

"Now, wait. You haven't heard me out yet. See this boy over here?" Akiko said motioning with her head towards Norio. "Well, we are ninjas. We have spent our whole lives learning and mastering various forms of ninjutsu. My associate here has a very interesting ability. With your hair, he can find the owner of said hair."

"Pfft, I am already he-" He started to wince from his pain before he could finish his sentence but Akiko promptly picked up where he left off.

"Here. Yes I think we all know that. What he can also do with your hair though is find people who are closely related to the person. Such as a daughter, brother, or son." Akiko lied. She watched the grave robbers face as she said some of his family relations hoping to see a reaction. Thankfully the man's eyes widdened at the mention of son.

"N-n-now wait a minute! They are innocent!"

Akiko smiled, "Do we look like we care? Besides, don't you want to see your family again? You are bleeding out pretty heavily."

The man looked back at Norio then to back to the blonde kunoichi. He was trying to find a way out of this but he knew he was at there mercy and since he didn't know what they could do, the man decided he couldn't risk his child.

"A doctor. . . a the nearby hospital. I don't know why but he was paying us for dead bodies. We never killed anyone just dug up graves and got paid."

"Really?" Akiko said looking at Norio. This was the first real clue they had gotten and Akiko could hardly hide her excitement. The man went into detail about the name of the doctor and which hospital he worked at.

"And how do you give the doctor the bodies?"

"We. . .we take it to the back of the hospital late at night and do the exchange. I don't know what that sick freak does with them."

"Hmm. Well you did good. so here is good news!"

"You taking me to a hospital?"

"Mmmno. The good news is we don't have time to torture you more and get more information out of you." The man took a painful sigh of relief at her words. "So we are just going to have to kill you."

"B-but you said I can see my family again."

"I know! I also said we can track your family." Akiko said somewhat amused with herself.

"B-b-b-but you-"

"I lied!" She said enthusiastically, "You have to die because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time and we can't have you and your friends talking to people about us. . . plus I don't really like you."

"You bitch." He said in his last act of defiance.

"Mmhmm!" Akiko hummed in agreement as she plunged the kunai into the man's heart, much like her previous kill. She didn’t actually take pleasure from the act of killing, just the fact that the mission was coming together. Akiko retrieved her kunai and looked at Norio. They had a destination now. A hospital. She did not know if the doctor was their prey but it was a start. After ensuring the others were dead, the two genin quickly jumped back into the wagon and led the horses to their location.

Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Vide
PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptyThu 22 Jan 2015, 12:23 am

The boy watched as the girl got to work. Wow was she a sadistic little bitch. Norio was not sure what to expect when he had given the order, and half-assumed that he would have to get the job done himself, but boy was he wrong. This noble-brat was full of surprises it seemed. Her choice of attacking the leader's crotch had given him a clue that she might lean a little on the vicious side, but heck, she really outdid herself. Who would have thought that torture was her "thing".

Norio got to work himself. The girl had already killed one of the men he had taken down, so that only left two. His puppet strings retained a strong grip on one of them; he was trying to get up but something (the strings) held him pinned down to the ground, causing him to panic more and more. He whimpered like a scared animal. He must have heard some of the things the girl had said, and tried desperately to avoid the horrible things he imagined his friends were undergoing.

The second man was crouched on the floor, one hand trying to wrestle out the blade stuck in his leg, while the other checked for a broken nose. This was Norio's target. He walked briskly over to him from behind, kunai in hand, placing the cold blade to the side of his throat. "Better be still now" he told the man calmly. Fortunately for the bandit, he listened, his body freezing on command.

"Now look, that girl and me, well, I don't even know her" Norio began to speak, all the while the knife forced his captive to listen. "I had no idea she was capable of this. I mean look at her go" the boy said, almost with admiration, before he shook his head and added, perhaps for the sake of the bandit "Disgusting". In fact, the boy had no opinion on the matter. He didn't think much of death. He understood that these bandits had to die for the mission's sake - there was no way around that, and anyway, their line of work would bring them death sooner or later. Whether he was the Agent of that Death himself or someone else was, well, it just had to be done.

"I'm your only friend left" the boy lied to the man. "I'll let you live, I swear, but you have to out-do your boss over there" Norio promised falsely. "If you don't, well, I'll let that crazy bitch handle you and trust me, after what she did to your boss, I wouldn't wish that to my worst enemy" the boy could be very convincing if he wanted to, his vocal cords played perfectly to imitate sympathy and sincerity. "Speak" he ordered.

"Wel-l-l, like the boss, uh, said, we go to this hospita-" the knife scratched the surface of his throat, making him gulp and speed up "-but the guy we meet, some doctor freak, he wasn't always alone" the knife relaxed. "Oh?" the boy let out. "Yes yes! He had this man with him on a few occasions. Big fellow, with a nasty scar on his cheek. Me and the boys call him Slither, cuz it slith-" the knife pressed in again, causing the man to stop before he could chuckle. "-right well, he was there a few times. Asked us few things, like, how many bodies and how heavy. From the size of him, he probably had to carry the damn things-" the knife rested, but the boy spoke angrily "This doesn't tell me much" Quite on the contrary. The things the henchmen was saying were very interesting.

"Wait wait, this guy, Slither, he mentioned once that we aren't working just for the doc. He said he works for Mr B and we do too now, and that if there is something wrong with the shipment, oh we better run, cuz Mr B is gonna get us." "What else?" "The boss asked if we could meet Mr B, work for him directly, cut out the middle man, you know? But Slither said no, Mr B likes his privacy, but maaaybe if we do good work, Mr B would have more for us."

"I see. Thank you" and with that said, the boy jabbed hard with his kunai, piercing through flesh and vein.  Blood. So much blood.

This left only one man to be dealt with. The boy had no desire to play any more games. He walked over, placing his kunai to the back of the bandit's head. "Where can I find Slither?" he shouted, the words powerful despite the childish voice that wielded them. "I dunno anything man I swear!" the boy landed a quick hit to the side of his head, silencing him. "Give me something! Anything in exchange for your life" he shouted, as the poor bandit reared from the shock of the hit. "We use a back door! To the hospital I mean. Knock four times. They check us through the peep hole. Please that's all I know. I'm new to the group, I ain't heard of-" thankfully he was of some use; the boy retracted the kunai from him, as if to honour his promise... but not a second after it was removed, the blade came crashing down, stabbed into the back of the bandit's head with a single, swift motion. Dead. The kunai took a second life that night.

The boy got back on the wagon. His cloak was stained by mud and blood. He placed his murderous weapon back into the pouch; his eyes released the technique that seemed to cause him much strain. "Transform to look like one of the henchmen" the boy commanded, while he himself performed the technique (Henge) to take on the appearance of the boss bandit. He wasn't sure when he had taken the lead on this mission, but there was little time to worry about that. Eyes on the prize!

"Let's hope we can find the doctor or this Slither" he told the girl, as she drove the horses on towards their final location. The back entrance of a nearby hospital.

PostSubject: Re: Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] Order of Smart-ass With a Side of Brat [Smoke & Mirrors] EmptyThu 22 Jan 2015, 4:07 am

After pushing the horses to their limit, Akiko drove the pair to the hospital. Good thing too, the rain was getting heavier. The whole trip, Akiko sat in silence, focusing on the road and trying to forget about the men she killed. Their deaths only served to help the two Kumo genin progress their mission. The two were transformed in their disguises using there Henge technique. The blonde girl did not like hiding behind this jutsu, her main arguments being that a large enough group of ninja in this world can detect through such jutsu. Fortunately, the people she was to use this technique on weren't likely ninja. Norio had ordered her to take on the transformation. Akiko bit her lip as he ordered her around but she didn't have any better ideas and there was no time to argue. She would deal with the insult late.

Akiko stopped the wagon a few blocks away, before rounding through the alleyways in a calm manner. Their could be trouble and Akiko did not like how close those grave robbers were to the horses as they confronted each other. She wanted to run full speed, not wanting to be left behind but her acting the part was the best way to succeed without loosing their trail. It seemed like a long journey through the streets before they arrived at the back door. Before knocking four times on the back door, Akiko looked then nodded at Norio; Her own little way of asking if he was ready. After her four knocks, A flap on the back door slid open, revealing a pair of angry eyes. They quickly scanned the two ninja before closing and then sliding open the door. The man behind the door had a scar that slithered down his cheek, giving him a hard look about him. Make sense that this would be their man, Slither. He looked very worried, especially impressive since he is what one would call a stereotypical tough guy. He was the runner for the doctor.

The blonde in disguise wanted to attack him on site, her patience running thin but Akiko did not want to blow their cover before they knew where the dear doctor's office was so she did not take any hostile actions, though she wanted to.

"Where are the others?" Slither asked impatiently.

"We got ambushed on the road. . . They didn't make it." At these words, Slither's eyes widened with surprise. It was obvious that he felt like he needed more help than just his two fake associates.

"Shit. We have a problem." He said as he lead them to some stairs that lead upwards.  Akiko found it odd that Slither had not asked where the new shipment of bodies was nor did he seem to care. Akiko figured it could be because of the inability to speak openly. The group arrived in what appeared to be the morgue.

As they entered the morgue, it was clear the place had seen better days. Documents lay on the floor and the signs of intense searching was evident. Akiko looked around confused. "Where is the doctor?"

"Some of the hospital staff found his body on a gargoyle." He looked grave and then at the two, "He's dead. . . With the attack on the doctor, and you guys being ambushed. . . I think we have some people who know of our operation."

Akiko looked at Norio, lost for words. She knew it wasn't either the two of them that got to the doctor. Either there is some rival gang of body sellers competing or someone else, maybe other ninjas, were also interested in Bakuho. Akiko turned back to Slither and spoke feigning distress, "Now what!?"

"Well, we don't need the doctor anymore. As long as you keep bringing me bodies, I can still deliver them to the B man himself. We just lost the middle man. . . We just got to be more careful unless we want to end up like our late friends." He said, referencing the doctor and the group of bandits that the two Kumo ninjas dealt with earlier.

"So where do we go to deliver? We got the bodies hidden down the street a bit. Wanted to be careful after our skirmish earlier." The kunoichi said a little too casually.

"Don't you worry about that. I will keep the location in my head." He said, "Okay, I will need you help to load your bodies with the ones in this morgue. We will deliver and then we will move on, continue operations away from this place. Let's go."

Akiko frowned. Slither was not giving up the location to wherever Bakuho was. Akiko sighed, there was no time for loading bodies and travelling. Plus once he saw that her wagon had no bodies, the whole ruse would be over. Akiko nodded to herself, making up her mind. Time for more of the crazy tough girl act.

Slither turned to exit the morgue and Akiko took her chance. Her male body tackled Slither from behind before her hands began striking his back. Slither tried to roll over onto his back to defend himself but Akiko's ape like arm movements kept slamming him down. Slither yelled with anger and frustration, "You! You're trying to muscle me out!"

Akiko leaned in towards his ear as she removed a kunai from her disguised pouch. "Yep, I am muscling you out!"

Akiko's male voice slipped into something more suitable to her natural voice. Instantly, Slither could tell this wasn't one of his men.

"Who are you. . ." He said as he struggled to be free. Akiko broke her jutsu and redonned her mask.

"I am impatient." She continued. Akiko let up on the man and he took the moment to turn onto his back to face his assailant. As soon as he turned the man tried to push off the ground with his right hand and move the tiny girl off of his body with the left. Akiko quickly noticed his intentions and slammed the tip of her kunai through his palm, pinning it to the ground. He let out a loud scream as the blood erupted from his hand. As he screamed, Akiko took another kunai from her pouch with her right hand, and pushed Slither's left hand down to the ground with her left. With the same quick movements as she had used against Slither's right hand but against his left causing him to scream louder and his eyes to tear.

Akiko looked back at Norio then to the door, "Make sure no one disturbs us."

"Wai-what!" Slither began, but Akiko brought her fist into his lips, "Rude! I was talking to my friend but if you really want my attention you should talk."

"Fuck you!"

"Agh, not this rudeness again! First, your friends were rude. Planning on hurting an old man and a young girl like that. Really rude. . . but all is good though, they got what was coming to them." Akiko took out another kunai and held it to the man's neck.

"You killed the others didn't you?" He didn't budge though he was still obviously worried.

"Who knows? The grave robbers, bandits, the doctor. . .you. . . could of all been by us for all you know."

"What do you want?" He asked as if he was the one interrogating.

"Where is Mr. B at?"

"No way I am telling you. I have the advantage. With the doctor gone, I am one of the only few who have access to - " Akiko quickly flipped over and cut off the man's right thumb, he screamed loudly which Akiko returned with her green eyes peering through her white mask with an apathetic expression. After the man quiet down, Akiko asked again, "Where is he hiding?"

Without waiting for a chance for Slither to respond, Akiko sliced off Slither's right index finger causing another roar to erupt, "You didn't let me say anything you bitch!"

"Yeah, I assumed it was going to be a lie." Akiko said in an upbeat and friendly tone.

"You're crazy!"

Akiko slammed her kunai down next to Slither's ear and leaned in close to his face, her mask touching his nose as she spoke, "AM I!?"

The man stared into her doeful emerald eyes for a moment as he was not sure how to proceed. Akiko could tell that the man didn't trust Akiko's mental judgement and looked towards Norio for help before resigning himself.

"Warehouse. Lot four. Up north a bit. . . man, just let me go." It would appear that the scared man was ready to make deals. Akiko wanted to slice into him then and there so they could leave, much like the first group but she wanted to make sure there wasn't anything she was forgetting,

"Any questions?" Akiko asked Norio in a overly cheerful tone. She waited for Norio to see if he was done, before she slammed the head of the man into the hard floor or the morgue. The girl could of killed him but he had not seen her face and she deemed it unnecessary. His physical suffering would not be too bad since he was already in the hospital, but she left the man's actual fate in Norio's hands. They left the morgue through the way they came in and Akiko followed the boy to the wagon and headed to their location. It was time.

For the second time today, the boy found himself watching as the girl tapped into a darker, crueller, more sadistic side of herself. If she could only see what he did from his perspective - his eyes witnessed not a young girl, but a monster, so in tune with her dark actions, that it made him wonder if this simply wasn't her true self, unhindered by social stigma, her darkness lavishing in the freedoms found in a foreign country that did not know her. She put a mask on her face, which the boy noted, seemed to act as some medium through which she could more easily express herself in this feral, fierce fashion; acting more brutal than before, if such was possible. It was a wonder to watch her go - he felt like he had unleashed a vicious rottweiler on this poor man, who looked to him, of all people, as the person who held the power and who had the capacity for mercy. Sorry man, she's going off on her own, don't lump me in with her.

The boy had been quiet as the duo followed Slither to the morgue. He focused on the mess that had been caused by some previous intruders, who had taken away the good doctor's life and scattered papers all over the floor. Interesting that they would do that. It suggested to him, that there was something worth looking for in them.

As the girl got to work, without warning - practically snapping - just like before, he concentrated himself on the papers, his eyes rushing from left to right, down, left to right, down, looking for particular words of interest. "B" came up a lot, which he imagined stood for Bakuho. There were prices listed, various measurements regarding the bodies, but not the thing he wanted - a drop off point or a way to contact the criminal.

With the girl asking him to watch the door, the youth once again put his tired, albeit supernatural eyes to work. Veins popped out, his irises turned purely white, his vision changed - yada yada yada. He used the "corner" of his eyes to watch the door, but no one came. It seemed the hospital was torn between running like normal and addressing the situation of the dead doctor. It seemed some law-enforcers were upstairs asking questions, but thankfully, the hospital-staff kept them at bay while the crazy-girl did her dirty work.

More looking through papers. The dark sounds subsided now, and the girl asked Norio if he had anything to add, before there was a second death in the hospital tonight. "I have just one" the boy said, turning from the papers. He had found little of help; everything they needed, Slither had supplied. "What do you know of the people who preceded us tonight?" he asked simply, expecting full well that the man could offer him little.

"I dunno kid, but they got to be pretty good cuz the doctor, well, he ain't just some slouch. He can cut a living man as well as a dead one" well that didn't help at all. "Thanks" the boy said, not meaning it. The girl dealt with the man as soon as it was clear that Norio had no more to ask but didn't kill him... which was odd. "Aren't you forgetting something?" he asked, teasingly, proceeding to walk out. Though he did not linger in the room in person, his eyes were all-seeing after all, and they couldn't help but witness Slither's last gasp, before she brought him cold comfort at last.

Smiling mysteriously to himself, the boy waited for her outside. "This is it" he announced flatly, as they began to hurriedly make their way towards their final destination.
