| Subject: Functionally Non-Existent Topic Limit? Mon 09 Feb 2015, 6:29 am | |
| So the new eval system it out, about, and criticized to various degrees. My question is; am I the only one who thinks that it, functionally, renders the topic limit non-existent?
Think about it; as it stands, you can only get one mission, and one social, fully "evalled," once per week. Any other topics that get submitted just get a casual glance, and a handful of points tossed in your face. So functionally speaking, doing a bajillion topics at once doesn't matter; the player either sticks themself with waiting weeks on end to get them all evalled, submitting just one per week, or throw them all up at once, and get a "Looks like you RPed, yeah, have some points" bundle.
Just saying, as the new eval system stands, it makes less sense than ever to limit the number of topics. At the end of the day, the eval mods are still only going to have to actually eval at most (Active_users *2) topics per week.

| The concept of a thread limit was never validated by the evaluation system. It exists as a separate entity to stop people from being in more topics than they could reasonably handle.
