Mission:

It was a normal day, with the sun shining and the birds chirping away. Rukasu, the insane criminal was located by this tree near a small village, populated by a few dozen people.  He was just thinking about taking a day off in this new area since he had done so much already. He knew that more was going to come his way but he rather take it easy for the time being. Almost everyone knew about his evil in his heart and yet no one knew about the light in his heart. A conflict he endures every day of his life and this was him growing up. When the criminal started out in the world as the criminal, his nature was evil. However, that evil was just something that he really did not know about either. He himself was just wondering the world doing whatever he wanted since he felt it was the right thing to do. Until one day, the criminal opened the door that would lead to the greatest evil man has ever witnessed.  That evil changed him into someone he was not but at the same time, he enjoyed it very much. Now at that time he killed many people and did not care about them at all. He kept on killing as if it was a way to get stronger; however, someone showed him the right way. The criminal is now still confused about what path he should take since his heart cannot really decide on good or evil.  

Rukasu thought about his future many times and how he wanted to do things in the future. He first wanted to help Mana against the organization she wanted to destroy and he wanted to control the world. This thought about controlling the world had been in his mind since he was in prison. He wanted to have the power so he could be untouchable. He wanted people to fear him and wanted to make sure that he was the one on top. No matter what happens in a world he wanted to become someone great. He also did not know how to approach this but he knew that he was going to have to do his best that he could to stay alive and make sure that everything went according to his plan. Still relaxing by the tree, as he looked at the sky, calmly watching the birds fly by in the clear blue sky. He was a peace and this peace was something he was after. He did not know how to get it but it felt do great that this peace felt so good to him. Slowly times passed by as the criminal relaxed. He felt lazy today and he loved being in a new area where people did not really know him like that. Several shinobi know Rukasu from the bingo book or in person, while others know him from the people he worked for and the people that hired him before had spread the word about him being good at his mission.

A stranger walked up to Rukasu, as he was a bit nervous to get close to the person so he stayed hidden watching the criminal's movements. This was not a very good effort to hide since Rukasu had sensed him way before he started to hide. The criminal looked in the direction the person was hiding, "Come out, I know you are hiding. Tell me why you are spying on me and I will spare your life." Rukasu said as the person felt the evil from where he was standing. He had no other choice but to show himself. The person walked out in the open and looked at the criminal that had his eye on him as well. The person could attack the criminal since he was just so relaxed and wide open but the person was smart enough not to do so.

"Umm, my boss found out that you were spotted around this area. He wanted me to give you this job. Some rich person referred you to us from the fire country. We want you to kidnap this young girl." The person said as the criminal's eyebrow rose. He slowly got up from his relaxed position, as he stood straight up looking at the person. The person was nervous but he did not know what the criminal was going to say next.

"Is the pay good?" Rukasu said since he needed the money in the first place to help him survive in this new country. The person nodded, and told Rukasu where he could find this young girl. Rukasu then nodded to the person, as he was off to go back to his boss. This mission sounded easy however right before the person left he also said to bring the girl back alive and unharmed. In addition, he said that there were many guards there protecting her. This could cause a problem for Rukasu since he needed to know what he was going to get himself into and how to get out of it as well. Knowing nothing but how many people was going to guard her was not really worth taking the job. Just when Rukasu was about to start walking to his destination someone else appeared in front of Rukasu.

"Hello Criminal, I could not help of over hear from the two of you. I was going to approach you first when I saw you but then you noticed us and that other person showed up. My Boss wants you to kill that girl for double the pay. Once that girl dies, her family will crumble. Their family is powerful and my boss wants them taken care of. So what do you say criminal?" The person spoke to Rukasu and this was the first time someone else would approach him with a counter mission. This was also exciting him, as he knew what he was going to do. He needed the money and having it double would be worth his wild. Rukasu nodded to him as well, now having two choices and the second one seemed more reasonable. The person left as Rukasu started walking in the direction the first person told him to go. The first person told him to go down this path and you will see a big white house. While the criminal started walking he knew he was going to kill the girl, and this was just the bottom line since there were two parties and in the mind of the insane criminal. Who ever paid more is the side Rukasu will choose to go with. However, the criminal never expected a third party to show up and stop him as well.

This third party was this young man, looking very poor and sad. Rukasu was now annoyed that not one, not two, but three people had stopped him to talk to him. No respect was one of the main things he thought in his mind. The person fell to his knees, placed his hands together as if he was going to pray. "Please don't kill that young girl. She is the future way to peace. Trust me when I tell you that she lives in a corrupted world where people will do anything to get whatever they want no matter how difficult the task may be. I have no money to give you but I am here on my knees begging you to save her from what is coming tomorrow." The person said as tears fell down his eyes.

Rukasu looked at him with a confused look, "You expect a criminal like me to save someone? Are you serious and what is coming tomorrow, and don’t lie to me. I feel like killing you already for annoying me." Rukasu said as he raised his hand to grab the handle of his giant sword. The young person dropped his head down to the ground, with his palms facing downwards against the ground.

"Please I am begging you, I love this women and some very strong assassin is going to kill her tomorrow regardless of where she is. He has been watching her and he had already made plans to kill her the next day. That assassin already knows you’re coming and wants to see what you are going to do. Going there is a trap, and I am sorry to put more burdens on you. I need her alive and away from her family. We wanted to run away together but her family is excessively strict on her. They will be the one to end up killing her without even noticing it. Please hear me out, save her and bring her back to me. If you need to ask her to come with me that is fine. I know you don't trust me and I know that you will have to make a decision on what you want to do. If you choose to kill her then go ahead but let me tell you this. My men will be watching. You will her then you will have to deal with us." The young man slowly got up and glared at Rukasu since he did not know what he was going to choose but it was obvious that the criminal was going to kill the young girl.  

"I am not going to give you my answer and if this assassin wants to fight me then bring it on. I do not care what happens to that little girl nor do I care about you. Since you are not going to pay me then make sure you and your friends are ready to die by my hands when she dies." Rukasu said as he walked passed him. The person burst into tears since he really hoped that he could trust this criminal, but that was not the case. This person punched the ground and started yelling aloud that Rukasu was the lowest of all scum. The criminal smiled as he felt recognized by someone and he did not care what he thought of him. The criminal kept on walking as he was soon going to get close to the destination, where that girl lives.

Will Rukasu Kidnap the girl for the first client, or kill her for the second client? Will the criminal screw the first two clients and save the young girl from the people that are trying to get their hands on her? So many choices but only one of them had Rukasu's mind made. Is it possible for the criminal to kill a young girl and stay alive to tell about it another day?

Three choices.

One choice to decide.

That choice will decide the fate on this mission.

The criminal walked, as he was a bit concerned on how he would complete this mission. If he kidnapped her then he would still have to deal with a great number of people trying to stop him from doing so. If Rukasu chooses to kill the girl then he would still have to deal with a great number of people. If Rukasu chooses to save her and bring her to that person, there would still be a great deal amount of people he would have to go up against in this fight. This made it a very difficult mission. However knowing this he still wanted to do to see what was going to happen. The criminal was already on board to kill this young girl, since it was going to pay a lot more than the first and last person offered. Rukasu did not care about what others would think of him when it came down to it. Money was money after all the root of all evil. Since the very beginning when Rukasu had started out as a criminal, each job that he performed was great experience however; the money he earned consumed him.  Money was very important to him since people would need the money to start the organization he needed to grow.

As he walked, his heart gave him a striking pain, instantly he grabbed his chest. Why, why now? I need the money. This person has nothing to do with you. Please let me decide on my own. I don't need your help. Rukasu thought to himself, since his heart still was fighting for the right to stay. Light and dark could not stay together nor was it possible. The light was hurting Rukasu for him to realize that killing the young girl is not the right way. The darkness in his heart is pushing Rukasu to kill everyone in sight including the girl. The conflict in his heart would not settle until he finished the job. This job will actually decide on whether there is a chance to save Rukasu or not. He wanted the money more than he needed it and this was something that needed to be finished.  

As he kept on walking to his destination, he kept on fighting within himself, in his mind and heart. It was a battle between two Rukasus. One side filled with Light and the other side filled with darkness. Both fighting for the right to completely stay and take over his body completely. Rukasu knew what was going on but he could not help it or stop it, all he had to do was watch it.

In his Mind
"You know Rukasu will fall to darkness just like his ancestors did in the past." The dark one said.

"No he won't! I believe in him. I know he will do his best and he will let the light grow in his heart." The light said as they both stared at each other.

"He can never be good. He will become the ruler of this world by utilizing his darkness. I dare you to stop me." Dark said as the battle kept on going on and on. No sides were willing to stop and no one wanted to let go of Rukasu. Both light and dark had bonded to the insane criminal. They wanted the best for him. They were nothing more than pieces of his heart. Rukasu could see everything that was going on, and he noticed that he could not be able to choose right away.

Back to reality.

The criminal had finally reached his destination as he hid behind a tree and looked at what was ahead of him. Besides the two guards in the front, Rukasu could feel numerous people in the area, so he started to focus his chakra to sense everyone. He felt a large group behind the door, and one by itself behind them in another room. Rukasu knew something was wrong. They were waiting for someone. They all could be waiting for the assassin that was supposed to show up the next day.  The criminal focused harder to check if that assassin was already there hiding. However, Rukasu could not sense him. Either he was not there or his assassin skills surpassed Rukasu. This could be bad since Rukasu did not want to think of the worse just yet, so his first thought was to forget about the assassin until they met. Rukasu now had to focus on killing that girl.

The criminal grabbed his giant sword out and charged in for battle, the guard noticed Rukasu but it was already too late. Their heads chopped off. The mission had now begun and he knew that once he opened the door they would be all there waiting for the criminal to strike. Both his hands placed on each door as he pushed it opened. Every one stared at the person in the tuxedo with a top hat opening the door. They all noticed that this one person next to two corpses was holding a giant sword. However, that did not frighten the twenty guards as they laughed but then when they got a good look at the person's face in front of them it all changed. They saw this person with pale white skin, red hair, red snake eyes, holding a giant sword and an evil aura that swarmed the whole area. They knew that this person was a killer, and as sweat started falling down each face. They wondered what they were going to do. They all knew that they had a chance since the numbers were on their favor. Twenty against one, an unfair advantage, but Rukasu smiled evilly as he was ready to show these weaklings to never mess with him at all.

"Who wants to die first, HAHAHA!" Rukasu yelled as he chuckled aloud.

All the guards still held their guard as they watched the one opponent in front of them. It was very risky for the group to go up against the criminal but they had orders to defend the girl no matter what happens. They all drew out their swords, as they glared at the opponent in front of them. Slowly the time passed by, as it was getting silent. The tension rose quickly as no one made a move but then the many guards looked at each other and noticed that they could do this together. If they worked together they could worked out against the criminal however, they seemed to forget the basics. The criminal wondered if they even learned how to use a sword from someone good. Their stance was off and they all held the sword with no experience. Just by figuring this out was not going to be enough to defeat all of these guards. The insane criminal was going to use his strength to see where their power truly lies. Rukasu walked forward just a little bit, as the guards were a bit hesitant by stepping backwards a bit.

"Hehehe I can feel your fear." Rukasu chuckled; knowing that these people were being hesitant only meant that they were smart however; they also were waiting to see what was going to happen. The criminal love playing games with the people to see how much will it take them to open the door to their fear?  When someone opens the door to fear then a weakness will show itself. This will act as a disadvantage against them. Once their weakness shows itself they will have to choose either to let it consume them or fight to live another day. In this fight, they all had two choices and no matter what they had chosen, it would be too late since they did not fight this before. As the criminal watched around as his enemies now surrounded him. A smile grew upon his face, his eyes widen just a little to show intensity, and the evil laugh came out. Slowly but surely the guards took a step forward. Holding onto whatever pride they held, as they knew in their hearts this battle could be the end of them.

Rukasu watched carefully, even though he already knew he was stronger than these foes, he still needed to act smart and make sure he figures out their game plan before he pulls out his own bag of tricks. The first people charged in, since nobody else was going to put themselves in danger right away. They were right to stay back; because once that person had gotten close enough to slash at the insane criminal, it was too late. Rukasu had already used his speed to turn around and his strength to slice that person in half. Everyone was in shocked that something like that could happen so quickly but they all were glad that he finally attacked. For some reason they wanted to see what he was going to do first and this was their plan. They wanted to see if they could throw off the criminal before he killed everyone in this area. Then they all charged to attack, and this was something that Rukasu had expected but Rukasu did not expect them to act as a team so quickly. However, Rukasu realized that something like that could have been their plan the whole time. Now Rukasu was not going to let these punks push him around, but he was going to let them have their fun.

Rukasu felt as if it was all in slowly motion but at the same time it wasn't, he dodged, blocked, and attacked as each opponent kept on attacking. The evil criminal was not going to back down as he kept on holding his ground, killing a few opponents here and there. Rukasu was also getting hurt as well getting cuts here and there, but nothing fatal. They did not push the criminal back to a corner, but he knew he would not be able to stand against all of these opponents, because their weak as one person but as a whole bunch of people working together it would seem impossible. Rukasu counted the guards, as they were all smiling getting cocky.

Fifteen guards left, I know just the thing to take care of these idiots. Rukasu thought to himself as he smiled evilly once more and this smile really pissed off his opponents. Putting his sword back on his back, he glared at everyone in front of him and all of them were confused about the criminal putting away his weapon. Now the guards were really pissed blinded by anger one of them charged at Rukasu as someone tried to stop them but it was too late. Using his speed and strength he grabbed the guy's neck, glaring into his eyes, and squeezing the life out of him. Dropping the body on the ground, he quickly formed a series of hand seals, lay down on the ground and opened his mouth wide. Each guard looked at Rukasu puzzled but then they thought it was the perfect opportunity to attack but it was all too late. Five hundred snakes started shooting out of the criminal's mouth, as they headed straight towards the guards. Some of them ran but others stood their ground to fight against the wave of snakes. However, there was no way to fight this since the snakes will overwhelm the opponent as they the snakes strangled, and bite them until there was no life in their eyes. They will all die from shock, trauma or even blood lost. It was a scary way to die having it being overpowered by many snaked. One of Rukasu's secrets techniques and no one has ever lived to tell the tale.

Rukasu loved this jutsu so much he would only use it to kill many people at once or one troublesome opponent. It was clear that everyone was now dead, so the criminal stopped the jutsu and got back up from the ground. Everything was now finished and now it was to open the door down the hall. All the snakes ended up vanishing away since he dispelled the jutsu. Now Rukasu had to kill the girl that was beyond the room in front of him. He was so close to taste the money and he really could not wait until he tasted her blood. The excitement grew so quickly as each step he had taken felt heavier than the next. It was the best feeling in the world and he could just run but he wanted to savior each moment as much as he could.

I can feel it. She is close. Once I open this door, I will kill her. No holding back. This death will bring me lots of money and her family will crumble. I can't to hear her scream. Rukasu thought to himself as he started shaking in excited, now at the door, he felt hesitant to open the door but he grabbed the handle and opened it. A light shined brightly as he opened it, temporally blinded by the light but when his eyes adjusted to the lighting of the room. He could not believe what his eyes saw in that room.

Jutsu Used:

His eyes saw that one thing he could not imagine he would ever see, but he clearly knew that when he opened the door he would see that person he was searching for this whole time. He saw the girl but his mind went completely blank when he seen her, as if his mind was erased. He wanted to kill her right before he opened the door, but when he saw what was behind the door was this young girl just playing with some toys. Her innocence filled the room and her eyes of peace. Rukasu saw a glimpse of Mana and his mind went from being a killer to a peaceful man. It is hard to explain but the criminal felt no reason to kill her. He could not even think about laying a finger on her. He slowly walked up to her as she looked up and smiled. The criminal covered in blood but the young girl did not mind at all. She smiled at him and this smile made the criminal kind of happy. It was too surreal for him, as he felt strange. He felt the need to save this girl, and since there was still time he needed to know something.

Rukasu sat down right next to the girl, "Hey why are you here alone, with all these people protecting you?" Rukasu asked her in a calm voice. She looked up at him and smiled. Rukasu could not understand why she was so happy. How can a young girl see a stranger and be so happy. This was something that confused him so much. He did not understand it at all. All he could do was hope she would have an answer for him that is worth to understand. The criminal felt more relaxed than he had ever been in his life. Before this moment, he would have to put up some type of guard to make sure no one was going to try anything funny while the criminal rested. As Rukasu gotten older, his time to relax was getting slimmer since he was getting stronger. More and more people wanted to kill Rukasu for the bounty. The criminal just could not believe that there was another person out there in this world that could calm his raging soul even if it was for only a while. This feeling felt well to the criminal and no matter how many times he would deny it. The criminal closed his eyes for only a moment, but in that brief moment he felt someone touch his hand and as he opened them he looked at the girl.

She grabbed his hand, with a smile so bright, looked into his eyes, "I love you nii-san" She said as Rukasu eyes were wide open in shocked by what she had said. She considered him as her older brother just as Mana did once and this touched his heart so much that tears fell down his face. He couldn't help it and he hugged her so tightly. Rukasu felt so happy to hear that as if Mana had said those same words once again but she didn't. This little girl reminded Rukasu of Mana's personality that helped remind the criminal of what he missed the most in his life. He needed to save the girl and he knew that if he done this the right way then he would maybe understand what it meant to be someone besides a criminal. Rukasu knew that something was not right when he seen this girl. It was as if Rukasu knew what he was going to do and how he was going to complete the mission. The answer was right in front of him but he started this mission with another answer that was going to ruin him so much more than he ever had been. He felt like a hypocrite, and this was a feeling he wanted to forget but for some reason he just couldn’t. The little girl noticed Rukasu trying to figure out what was going on and she just smiled at him because she felt that he needed to see a smile. However, she also knew that a smile was not only going to help it, so she said a few words that may or may not help Rukasu on his way. “Listen nii-san, your life is like water. Sometimes you’re as still as ice but there are many times where ripples will form on the water’s surface. These ripples are your bumps in the path that you take. All you have to do is endure it. As long as you keep walking forward on the path that you believe in, you will be fine. Trust and believe in yourself no matter what happens.” The girl said as Rukasu looked at her and felt so glad that she did not judge him by his looks or how evil his nature it. The criminal felt relieved and he felt compelled to help this girl out no matter what the cost.

This feeling felt great to him as if he was never a criminal but it was too crazy to tell. He could not believe it at all and he felt this overwhelming power to do right by her. This girl had some kind of power to change the human nature. Was it possible? Rukasu could not believe it but he felt it just like how he felt when he was near Mana. Rukasu looked back to when he hanged out with Mana and he could feel it back then when Mana helped Rukasu in his journey.

"Before we go, what is your name? If you trust me I have a plan." Rukasu asked her as she smiled and nodded.

"My name is Luna." She said as they both had gotten up and ready for their new adventure. The mission was half-complete and all there was left was to bring her to safety. They both walked down the hallway as they both were heading to the exit of the building.

Before the exited Rukasu had, the girl to trust him because he knew that without him she would never made it out alive. Rukasu formed a series of hand seals as he then stuck out his hands so that the snakes coming out of his sleeves as four snakes on each side about four feet long formed together creating two more Rukasu's. However, the jutsu was not over since the two clones were going to go under a new transformation. Rukasu grabbed one of them on the shoulders and formed a seal, and then in the next few moments the first clone transformed into a dead version of the girl. The second clone went through the same process but the clone transformed into the girl as alive as ever. Rukasu knew that he would have to do this one at a time and this was not a good idea but he knew that if someone tried to harm her, the snakes would defend her and warn him at the same time.

Rukasu picked up the dead clone in his arms, as he looked at the real girl and told her to wait because it was the purpose of her survival. The criminal walked up to the door and opened it, walking out of there as if he just went through hell. He knew where exactly the person was going to wait. That guy that wanted her dead and this was going to be a quick visit since he knew he needed to get back to her. The person was not far off but he was far enough so he could not catch on the details or anything of the sort. After ten minutes of walking, he reached the guy that was behind a tree waiting. Rukasu knew where he was because he noticed him right before he entered the building. He actually noticed all of them in different spots before he got close to the building as if they were watching to see if he made the right decision. The best part about it they stop watching since they were getting tired of waiting.

The person seemed very pleased to see the girl dead as he handed over the money to Rukasu and the criminal handed over the girl. They split their ways and the criminal quickly but very silently entered the building once again. He approached the girl and the clone as he noticed that they were having fun. The person carrying the dead girl kept on walking back to his hometown and once the coast was clear, the clone will be able to act. It was not time yet as the guy kept on walking. Slowly the dead clones arm started changing into a snake as it quietly slithered on his back. Then quickly biting the guy on the neck while the clone changed back into snakes and wrapped around the person’s body killing him quietly and quickly.

Rukasu then grabbed the live girl clone and wondered how he should act upon this, so he turned to the real girl and asked her if she was a good hider, and she nodded. He signaled her to hide just for a little bit as he walked outside with the clone. They both ran to the next person as he was waiting on the other side from the first guy but far enough so that they would not be able to see each other. Upon approaching, he signaled the clone on the plan and the clone agreed. It did not take that long for them to reach since they were running. The person was excited that the criminal had chosen to keep her alive. They switched the clone for the money and Rukasu was off. He quickly dashed back to the building to be with the girl. The clone walked with the guy back to where ever they were going as the left hand of the clone changed into a snake that wrapped around the legs of the guy making him fall to the ground. Then the clone changed back into the four snakes as they all wrapped him up to a point of no return. Two clients were now dead and now last but not least, the third client. The person who would not pay Rukasu to do this job needed to make sure Rukasu was in a good mood. That kind of request would have gotten the person killed, however Rukasu felt that he was not going to bother with a weakling.

Rukasu figured he should bring the girl to the third person and finished this mission before that threat ends up showing up. Therefore, once Rukasu played a little game with the girl in hide and seek they both walked out of the building. They both started walking to the area where the third client was located.  The criminal did not want to depart with the girl but he felt that he learn something from the girl and he could not wait to tell Mana all about this mission. The two had a calm walk, as they talk to each other and smiled. The criminal felt at ease, as he still could not believe that Luna calmed his evil spirit even only for a moment. Soon they will reach the person that wanted free workers, which made Rukasu chuckle a bit but if there was no other option but his then he would of consider it because of love. That word Mana taught him back when they were hanging out.

Moments later, they met up with the person, this guy looked a bit sadistic, and something was wrong. His tongue was hanging out and his eyes widen as he glared at the girl. The girl was frightened and she looked as if she had never met the guy in his entire life. This confused Rukasu and he thought of something a loophole in the mission. He wanted her alive and safe. Rukasu was now ready to kill this guy in front of the girl to protect her. Rukasu grabbed out his sword and charged ahead but he stops instantly when he saw a shadow passed the person in front of him from above in the trees. The guy's head came off. When Rukasu notice who it was he had no other choice to fight him. The assassin looked at Rukasu and laughed as he glared at the criminal in front of him.

"I want to let you know that I want her dead. I also am going to let you know that if this dumb ass kept his composure, then the girl would of came with us. That is right I am the leader of the three people that you saw. I am impressed on how you tricked them, and even in that moment you left her alone, I could have killed her. However, I want to fight you for her fair in square all the way to the death. So what do you say?" The assassin said as he glared at the guy in front of him and the criminal glared back. This battle was not going to be easy but he knew that he was going to have to kill the enemy before they kill each other.

Rukasu nodded as he signaled Luna to hide until the battle is over. Still holding his giant sword, he watched as the opponent take out his sword. Who will win and whose blood will be on the ground.

Chakra: 50/100 [-30]

Jutsu Used:

Glaring at each other carefully to see who will make the first move. This person did not have a face; well a long red scarf covered it. The assassin also wore a black head wrap, and everything on him was all black. This assassin-wearing assassin clothing but the criminal could not tell from where exactly. The criminal knew that this person was stronger so he would have to outsmart the assassin before Rukasu dies. The criminal would not let that happen at all since he had plans for the future. It was silent but who was going to make the first move, as the assassin was very calm, breathing normally while Rukasu had already wasted half of his chakra. The criminal had no other choice but to use his chakra and now he is force to fight someone who might have the upper hand. Luna watched as she was worried about Rukasu and she wanted to help but if she tried, she would have died. The criminal was breathing a bit heavier than he normally would and it has been a while since he had used half of his chakra. The last time was that fight with that stranger he met in the Fire Country's graveyard. Actually, in that battle he ended up using most of his chakra. The criminal was a lot smarter than he used to be and he knew he was not going down anytime soon. Rukasu felt a little weird because this could be the first time he had been calm, focused, but usually his insanity would have been off the charts by now.

"You know you are going to die. Just hand over the girl so I can kill her and you can join me." The assassin said as he relaxed his stance a little, “You and me together can rule this world." He also said as he still kept his stance but he was relaxed with it since he wanted to show the criminal that killing him was not part of the mission but he will have to kill the criminal if he got in the assassin's way. However, Rukasu chuckled, as the assassin looked disappointed.

"I will rule this world by myself. I don't need the likes of you to help me." Rukasu said, as the assassin returned to his stance more focused than he normally would be. "I am going to kill you since I already don't like you and also you will never harm this girl while I am alive!" Rukasu yelled out to him, but he was also shocked that he had said something like that. He wanted to protect someone and that was something he had never done. If I can’t protect her then I can’t protect Mana, Rukasu thought to himself, as he knew what he must do. His goal was to kill this person in front of him to make sure that Luna will be able to live another day.

In an instant both charged at each other, clashing their blades, glaring into each other's eyes and both more focused than the rest. They both kept on attacking each other with their blades still clashing. The battle was not going to let up, and the two were going to keep on fighting until someone was dead. Rukasu knew that he must conserve his chakra in order to defeat this person but in order to have the upper hand he must make sure he utilizes every bone in his body to fight against this guy. He wanted to protect this girl with his life something that was unheard of and his evil side of the heart was quite pissed about it as well. Both getting cuts on each other as they still kept on fighting each other with their blades, and it seemed as if this battle would not have an end to it.

Their determination was keeping them to keep going; as they clashed, again they both noticed that the other person was getting tired. They knew that they had to finish this battle quickly before they ended up making a mistake that could cost them their life. During that clash, Rukasu used all of his super strength to knock out the sword out of the assassin's hand. The blade went flying into the air, and that was when the criminal acted on this advantage. He used his free hand and grabbed the assassin's neck as he quickly raised his blade into the air. A bolt of lightning quickly went through the blade, as the electricity went through the criminal's body into the assassin's body. The shock pushed the opponent backward a bit as the electricity somewhat paralyzed him for a moment. In that brief moment the criminal needed to attack before it was too late as he used some of the left over electricity in Rukasu's body and concentrated it to his hand as he slammed his palm against the opponent’s chest where his heart is located. More electricity coursed through the assassin's body like fire consuming everything.  The assassin's knees fell to the ground, as he was shaking grabbing a hold of his chest where his heart is located. Rukasu pointed his sword at the assassin going to kill him until Luna jumped in front of Rukasu stopping Rukasu from attacking.

"Don't kill him! He lost!" Luna said, as Rukasu looked at her confused. He knew he lost so he deserved to die. Rukasu's way of thinking but now he could not do it since she got in the way. Rukasu sighed, as he lifted up his blade on his shoulders and turned around. Luna followed happily, but the criminal felt weird leaving someone like him alive. "You better be glad I spared your life." Rukasu said as he kept on walking but the assassin was not finished as he slowly gotten up ran towards his sword, grabbed it and charged at Rukasu. Since Rukasu could sense him getting closer, he quickly turned around and swung his blade at the assassin's blade hitting it into the air. The assassin then fell to his knees, begging for his life, but it was obvious Rukasu wanted to kill him. Rukasu looked at the girl as she nodded to spare him and he turned around once again. The assassin had a hidden kunai in his wrist as he jumped forward to kill Luna but Rukasu quickly turned around again and sliced his head off.

The assassin was now finally dead, and this time Rukasu did not need his insanity side to help him. Luna looked upset at first but then she noticed the kunai and knew that Rukasu saved her again so she smiled and hugged Rukasu tightly. Rukasu saved the girl from harm’s way, so they walked back to the building where they first met. He knew that her parents should be waiting there worried about her. Rukasu knew that she would be safe with her family so they went back. The main reason they weren't there besides the twenty guards was that they were on an important missions themselves. That was what Luna told Rukasu, and the criminal felt calm about this whole situation. He felt he did something great. Now he could not wait to tell Mana about his adventures in a new Country. Once they reached about twenty feet from the building, they both could see her parents yelling out for her. Rukasu knew it was best for them not to see him. Therefore, he hugged the girl and told her to go on ahead and one day they will meet again.

She smiled, hugged him tightly, "I love you, Nii-san." Luna said as they let go of their hug and she ran off to her family. Tears of joy fell down the criminal's face as he got up and turned around while he felt he really did something great for the first time in his life. Now what will be in store for the future of the criminal, will he walk down the road to be a better person while leaving behind his dark, evil past or will he still walk the path of darkness and let it consume him until there is no light left in his heart?
