Southern Streets of Kirigakure

The day was bright and the weather was sunny, what a perfect day to go out. Indeed it was and many people knew that, so that was the reason why so many people were out at this time to the day, swarming the streets of the Hidden Mist village. The Southern streets of the mentioned village were the only streets which did not have so many people visiting them, due to the fact that they were not considered as an touristic attraction. Instead, this was the place where the old people, and a few younger people, came to relax in a peaceful environment.

Somewhere at this streets, there was a rather small cafe bar, with some of the tables out side on the sun. It seemed to be quite empty, only one or two people were there, sitting and drinking their beverages. Among those people, there was a young man, sitting at the table which was exposed to the sun the most. This man, unlike everyone else sitting there, had a head band from the Hidden Mist Village. It was quite obvious that he was a ninja, not just because of the head band, he also wore strange clothes with scrolls and ninja pouches attached to him.

But, even so, this man seemed to be just like any other man in the world. Suddenly, the wind picked up in the area, carrying the gentle blue hair of the young man, who then quickly rose his hands, in order to block the incoming dust particles. When the wind calmed down, the man passed trough his hair with his right hand, taking out anything which got stuck his, a little bit, longer hair. Then, he slowly placed his index finger and the palm of his right hand around the handle of the coup, which was currently on his table, right in front of him, picking it up slowly.

That was the moment when the young man showed his manners. Instead of drinking the tea all at once, he only took a zip, slowly returning the coup back on the table, on the same spot from where he picked it up. Then, he placed his right hand back into his pocket, just like he held his left hand in his left pocket. I hope his late, then I will have more time to spend some time alone, thinking about more important manners; the young man thought as he was sitting there, alone.

It was obvious that he was waiting for someone, the way how he nervously looked around him, watching both of the ends of the streets. There were only two ways to reach the streets where the young man stud, both ways could be seen from the cafe where the man was, so was in a perfect position to spot if anyone came to meet him. Due to his great knowledge, this man was able to recognize the person who he was supposed to meet, even though they never met.

So, calm and relaxed as ever, Marcus awaited for his new student to come.

With ever step, the mist created by him seemed to clear up, but within the next second it was back to haunt him. Just like life...Masaki felt a little weary after having to get up from a long and good sleep. His daily routines were nevertheless tiring, but it was a good thing that Masaki decided to do them all.

The streets annoyed him the most, and he was never on time for anything. He was sure that the stranger was about to become very mad for not showing up on time. It was like his father always told him. When a new day in Kirigakure starts, another mystery around the shinobi world ends. It couldn't be proven, but it seemed a good superstition.

Masaki looked around to see where he would find this man. He had never before seen the man he was about to meet, but they were supposed to meet up at an small cafe bar. It was to talk about something exciting, something that not every ninja in the village of Kirigakure got to do. It seemed weird, that the person would pick him.

Slowly he took off his purple hat, and stopped walking. He finally saw a small cafe, and a guy that seemed very cool if you look at him from far away. Maybe it was him, but he had to go there and be sure...Damn these lousy ninjas, never show themselves before the meeting.

He walked towards the cafe slowly, he wasn't supposed to make any kind of sudden moves, he didn't want to look suspicious either. So he did what was right. He slowly sat down at one of the tables besides the man..and waited.

Like mentioned before, from the spot where he was siting, the figure was able to see anyone entering the Southern streets of Kiri. Whoever came into the streets, closely to the cafe, the eyes of this young man were set upon them. He would look at them with an deep look, observing and judging them and their actions. Since he never met his student till now, the figure did not know how he looked like, so this was a great method to find that out. But, he did have an description of his look, without a picture. That would make things easy, but not as easy as he hopped for it to be.

After waiting a few minutes, Marcus was already done drinking his beverage, so he was ready to leave. The only thing missing, it was his student. So, the young man kept sitting there, waiting for him to come. Just as he was about to order a coup of tea, the eyes of the young Marcus gazed upon a young man who came into the area. After taking a better look of him, he assumed that his was the person who he was waiting for, the boy who went by the name Masaki. The description which he had on him, it was detailed, and the boy who just came into the streets looked just like it.

This gotta be him, time to introduce myself; the young Marcus thought, as he noticed that the boy started walking towards him. Suddenly, a man passed between the cafe and Masaki, blocking his view of Marcus. When the man passed, the figure was gone, he disappeared into thin air. A few moments later, a calm and relaxed voice could be heard from behind the young boy. The words which spoke were: "So, I am guessing that you are Masaki Meikiri. Nice, my name is Marcus Hatake and I am your new sensei starting from this day on."

As he spoke, Marcus did not even give a chance to the boy to reply, it was obvious that he wanted to get the meeting over with as quickly as he could. Who knows, maybe he was in a hurry or something. What ever it is, the lips of the young man started to move again. After ending his previous speech so quickly, he continued with an other one. While he spoke, his voice was now serious, the words which he spoke seemed to be quite important. "Anyways, go home and pack up for an mission, we are leaving in a hour. This will probably going to be your first B-Ranked mission, so I hope that you are ready for it."

After saying those words, Marcus started to walk away from the area where they were, going towards his own house. Since, this was his first B-Ranked mission after a long time, he needed to get ready as well and pack up some items for the journey. Some of those items even included extremely powerful weapons, just in case if something went out of hand. Before he left the sight of his new student, Marcus could be seen rosing his hand above his head. After making a single wave, his voice could be heard once again, saying: "See ya at the harbor and do not be late."

With those last words spoken, Marcus vanished in a rather small twister of leaves and wind. A simple Body Flicker Technique, it was all it took him to perform such a interesting, and flashy, disappearance act.
