| The deed had been done. After these past few months of keeping a low profile he had finally been done. Now, the only way was up, it could only keep getting better. Hopefully he would get more jobs, more people to kill and more infamy. But the contract had been done and now his time here had run its course. Originally he was going to return to the Grass Country, but he had decided against this. The Moon Country was supposed to be nice around this time. It was in a constant summer state and although this was no winter it would still be nice. He liked snow, it was the best weather to him. Although most people disliked the cold he liked it immensely. It was so beautiful, the way that it covered all and painted the land in white. The chill that shook penetrated deep in his bones. Still the summer days would be lovely, it would be a great time to relax. On top of this all he may be able to get a job or two.
After restocking in a small village he had sett off. It would take days to reach his destination. Especially considering it required taking a sailing boat to the island. Hopefully he would be able to find a cheap one. If he kept walking for three or so days then he could get there in that time. Slinging his pack and scroll over his shoulders he set off. It was going to be a long and winding route east, then the a boat trip south. Unlike many people Tenshi did not get sea sick so enjoyed sailing. He had found that out when he was quite young and his father had taken him out. Where was his father now? Trekking onwards through the fields he started whistling to himself. Hopefully there would be an opportunity to kill some more people in the moon country. He could still remember his last mission vividly. It had been one of the most thrilling and amazing feelings of his life. Now he felt like he must do it again.
He reached the boarder of the Rice by four, after looking back at the land he turned his head and set off. Having decided that he would take the same approach as last time he set off along the boarders. There was a small port town at the edge of the main land that would take him to his destination. Even though it would most likely be lot quicker to just head south but this would mean a lot more walking. Plus he had not experienced the amazing feeling of being on a boat in a long time, he wished to stay on one for as long as possible. Starting to jog he let the scenic countryside breeze past him. Someday he would return to this place but this would be when he was far more powerful. |
