Wanted: Bandit Leader Dead

It didn't take long for Yoru to reach the location of the bandit outpost. Keeping to the outside of their view Yoru stuck to the bushes in order to keep an eye on them. From what he could tell most of the bandits were keeping to small groups within the camp. the entire outpost was missing any real guards to speak of yet at the same time with so many people together like that it would be hard to simply sneak into the outpost. Yet sooner or later there would be a way inside and Yoru would find it.

Yet it ended up not taking long when Yoru noticed that a portly sort of man came from one of the central tents and made his way to one of the outside tents. Watching the man Yoru walked him come out with a large sack of carrots. He couldn't believe the luck that he was having all that was required was a perfect opening to make his way to the tent. Yet Yoru had to be careful for one miss step would end this mission very quickly. As Yoru watched there were people moving around all over the outpost yet nobody seemed to walk near the food storage tent. If Yoru had to guess the bandit leader must have had a problem with food shortages before and had to deal with a whole lot of thefts.

With a deep breath Yoru knew that he had to take a chance if he was going to complete this mission. Slowly getting up from his spot Yoru made his way to the tent. While it was true he had to be careful Yoru was still trying to get there as quickly as possible. Finally reaching the tent Yoru snuck into the tent and was quickly greeted to the sight of a bunch of sacks filled with food.

As Yoru was surrounded by so much food part of him would love for the chance to go through and do some cooking. Yet at this moment he had to focus on his mission and get out of there as quickly as he could. However Yoru was quickly put into a pickle when he heard footsteps heading his way. Yoru swore at that moment as he had little choice but to borrow a trick he had learned as a genin. With a quick flash of his hand signs Yoru created the jutsu he required. With very little sound Yoru completely disappeared into the back ground using the transformation technique. In the back of his mind Yoru thanked Meiko for coming up with the idea.

At that moment the portly man came in with a far more intimidating man whom was leading the conversation. "So like I was telling you the boss is wanting to make a special meal for him and his guests. So he had several rabbits caught and he wants rabbit stew to be made for all of the bosses visiting." The portly man gave the other man a tired look. "Listen you have no reason to keep checking up on me. I know what I am doing. Just because you are the bosses lap dog doesn't mean you are really that important. Now you can back off or you will be going hungry." With an irritated look on his face the lap dog left the tent. Chuckling the portly man sat down on one of the boxes and reached into one of the sacks and pulled out a potato.

It was perfect as the man began to peel the potato Yoru slowly began to inch his way closer to the man. Reaching into his weapons pouch Yoru pulled the poison potatoes out. All he had to do was lay them on top of the others. Inch by inch Yoru moved closer to the sack with the potatoes in his hands.

Inch by inch Yoru moved closer to the sack of potatoes while the man took potatoes from the sack and began peeling them. As he finally reached close enough Yoru slowly lowered the potatoes onto the sack. pulling his hands back Yoru barely avoided the portly man's hand as he grabbed one of the potatoes for peeling. Standing over the man Yoru watched as the man began to peel every poisonous potato and add it to the batch that was going to be cooked. Finally peeling his last potato the man lifted the pot of potato and made his way out of the tent.

With a sigh of relief Yoru made his way out of the tent and started making his way out of the outpost. Even though he had seen the cook take the potatoes away he still need to make sure that the bandit leader would die. Ultimately that meant that he had to wait until the food was done cooking. As Yoru took up a hiding place he waited until he could smell the food was cooking. Even as the smell of rabbit began to waft from the outpost. With a grin on his face Yoru made his way into the outpost once again. As he made his way to the cooks tent Yoru discovered that the man was leaving the tent.

Following the cook from a safe distance Yoru watched until the cook entered a tent. Sneaking into the tent Yoru saw the meeting the lap dog had spoken of before. As the cook began serving everyone Yoru sat in on the meeting as it took place. For now everything leaned on waiting until everyone had at least eaten some of the potatoes. As he sat on the edge of the meeting Yoru listened to the men as they discussed the different businesses of criminals while at the same time eating the food that had been served to them.

Yet it was at that moment when the first person who had been served began to show symptoms of the poison. As the man began to gag and heave on the food the rest of the guests in the tent began to show the same symptoms. Down the line it ultimately lead to the bandit leader of the outpost. As each and every member of the meeting finally died Yoru stood there in the middle of the room surveying the death that he had caused. With a smile on his face Yoru turned and made his way out of the tent and ultimately out of the outpost.
