"When there is a true desire in the heart and that desire is strong… that is when he finds real strength that even he did not know he had."
-Quoted by Orochimaru

Traveling to a different area these past few days, has Rukasu appreciated life around him even though he is a killer at heart? The killer was now roaming new lands and new areas in which helped him understand the value of life. The criminal focused his journey on learning new things and training himself to become stronger. Rukasu past two minor countries as he admired their beauty and then he saw the people that help this area go to waste. The insane criminal realized that he hated mostly everyone in this world only because the people tarnish the beauty that was there before man. Who knew what else he had faced in that journey. He knew what he was doing and he knew that no matter the danger he faced he took them down at all cost. The criminal was never going to give up no matter what, and he knew that if he kept on fighting then he would keep going until the very end.

Rukasu walked passed the borders of Lightning as he finally had made it to a place where he could either make a fresh start and become a good person and don't give a crap and be himself once more. Still in his black with red clothing and his black and red hat, he ventures forward looking for anything that might interest him. He had not looked back since only because that would mean a sign of weakness and loss of faith. On Rukasu's back was his trusted giant sword that always caught the eye of many people in this world in which they would quickly judge him because of his giant weapon. His giant sword has helped him through everything he had ever been in, and this is something he could never part away with. This sword holds a special place for him in his heart. The criminal knew this and he knew that one day he would be able rule this world with his weapon always by his side.

The criminal kept on walking on the same road that had led from the fire country to the lightning country. Rukasu knew that soon he would have to find a place to live and make sure he gets something to eat. A friend of Rukasu's was already visiting the Lightning Country however, this person had told Rukasu to avoid finding them.  Rukasu knew that he was not going to be able to find her since she would be the one to spot him first and avoid him at all cost. However, that was something that Rukasu was not going to let go since if he was to see her then he was going to let her be but he was also going to inform her about his future plan to help her in her quest. Rukasu knew what he had to do and that was to get stronger, and what he needed to do was to her that girl reach her goal. Soon Rukasu will find out what will happen to him whenever he chooses the right path.

He started smoking another cigarette since he was getting hungry and he needed to find a place to eat since he had not seen a village in days. However, not eating does not affect him as much due to his clan but it does feel weird to him that he hasn't eaten yet. The criminal looked around for food, village, or anyone that could help him. As he smoked his cigarette, he figured he was having a bad start already but he also knew that he was going to figure this out. No matter what happens the insane criminal knew what he was doing. He was not going to let anyone push him around either.  Flicking the cigarette on the ground and stepping on it to put it out. He walked forward in search for a town that will be kind enough to give him food. If no one would give him the food he searched for then he would have to result to his natural instincts and hunt an animal for food.

As the sun rose a little higher, he notices the birds chirping away. He watched the birds and the sky as he smoked the cigarette some more, and he kept on walking forward. His new journey was going to start in this country, in which it will allow him to gain a new power that will help him grow. He will make sure that no one gets in the middle of way and he wonders about the strength of the people here. Rukasu could not wait to see what challenges were ahead of him in the near future. Maybe they could be other criminals here just like me who share my views in this life we all live in. All I have to do is find them and make sure that they all come and join my side. I wonder where to start thought. Maybe I could send a signal of my aura around a long distance around me; however, the others of good will find me and maybe see me as a threat. The things Rukasu could not do because he came here peacefully and he wanted to keep it that way. PostSubject: Re: Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] EmptySat 07 Mar 2015, 4:09 am

It had been a somewhat rough week for Mugen so far. The many odd jobs he'd cultivated over the past few months were drying up one by one as though some plague of bad luck had cursed him. Thankfully, respite came in the form of a mission from the village. One that would pay well and support Mugen long enough to establish new street contacts around the village that would ensure he slept under a roof and had a belly full of warm food each night. It was a simple enough task, deliver some rare herbs that only grow on Kumogakure's craggy peaks to a small village somewhere in the middle of Kaminari no Kuni. Mugen couldn't say that he was familiar with the villages location, but thankfully he had a map in hand that would lead him there. With no other plans for the day, Mugen set out in the early morning hours with the herbs and map stuffed into his front hoody pockets.

Step by step, Mugen's feet carried him through treetops using an intuitive path of branches as stepping stones to catch his fall and drive the next jump. In typical shinobi fashion, the young Kousen made his way to the first land mark noted on his map that would help keep him from getting lost. A large lake with a small island in the middle that held a massive tree. The lake was aptly named, "Old Pine Well" and was locally famous for having a freshwater natural spring. It was somewhat out of the way were he looking to make a bee-line to the target village, but the mission briefing suggested he refill his water there rather than anywhere else if need be. Between the prospect of a place to re-supply and the usefulness of a landmark to properly read the map, Mugen happily took the detour.

Making good time, Mugen arrived at the lake's bank before noon. Emerging from the treeline, Mugen landed just a meter away from the waters edge with his hands on his hips. "Whoa, that tree is more impressive than I was expecting!" Mugen exclaimed in surprise as he looked the large pine tree up and down. It's highest point reached at least 50 meters up towards the sky and it's branches reached out to cover nearly half the lake. It was quite the sight to see and Mugen took it all in with an innocent grin upon his face as he enjoyed the warm sunlight beaming down upon him. After a moment of admiring the tree's grand stature, Mugen realized he was still on a mission and pulled the map from his pocket to give it a look over. "Hmm...let's see...from here I go south, huh?"

Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] Kuro1_zps09b4c215
An Intriguing Fellow

The sun beat strong on the back of Kuro’s neck. Beads of sweat glistening across his body. The Chunin had unbuttoned the top three buttons of his shirt to relieve himself from the angry sun that let down its wrath upon the people under it. With the flick of his thumb, the red-eyed boy popped the cap of his water bottle and drank the last few sips that were left before tossing it into a nearby by trash bin. Although it wasn’t much, what he had drunk was enough the quench his thirst for the time being.

It was days like these that Kuro wished Kumogakure could be blessed with the sound of pouring rain. The touch of the cool droplets was enough to calm the boy and forget the intense heat that was bestowed upon the village. There was only one spot in the whole country that was probably cool enough to Kuro’s liking, and that was the Kyoko Mountain. The snow filled mountaintop was the ideal spot for days like these where one could actually feel themselves melt away. The snow also benefited the Chunin’s training, since it provided the perfect environment for his Hyoton techniques, and perfecting his ability to use them. The quicker Kuro could get there, the quicker he could get the scorching weather off his mind.

The trip ahead wasn’t unfamiliar to Kuro. He had taken it quite often, but what had been different was the strange male he encountered along the way. Before the red haired boy had the chance to spot Kuro, he made his way behind the base of a small mountain. The distance between them had been roughly 40 meters, which was the distance Kuro would try to keep between the two. It wasn’t uncommon to see someone else travelling this route, but there was something strange about the male ahead of him. The biggest red flag came from the large sword he carried on his back. From what Kuro could tell, there was also no sign of any headband on the man’s body. Was he some sort of bandit? His apparel wouldn’t really match if he were. He dressed too fancy to be a bandit, even if he wasn’t wearing practical colors. The guy was wearing so much clothing; it made Kuro want to faint. On top of that, he smoked like a trucker.

The man was probably going to end up stalling Kuro’s training for a bit, but he was too intrigued to just shake him off. Besides, it was his duty as a ninja of Kumogakure to keep an eye for any malevolent looking people, and this guy was practically the definition of malevolent. As a recently promoted Chunin, he would have to make sure to keep all threats away from his village at all costs. The red-eyed ninja would keep his distance for now, and only approach if he needed to.

"When there is a true desire in the heart and that desire is strong… that is when he finds real strength that even he did not know he had."
-Quoted by Orochimaru

Time still passed by as the criminal walked around the area looking for someone to talk to about anything. The area he ventured was peaceful. Rukasu felt at ease, calm relaxed, as he had no care in the world. The criminal did not need to find anyone as quickly as possible, he just felt like it he was to meet someone then he met them. Rukasu did not want to start any trouble or anything like that but he still did not care if someone wanted to start trouble. The criminal learn a lot about controlling his emotions while he traveled to the Lighting Country. The criminal felt that he needed to find somewhere to start his future training as well as he also needed to make sure that he made a name for himself in this country as well. Soon Rukasu will be strong enough to take on Mokuzai or even Mana. He wanted to see how far he had grown and he wanted to fight that strange person he fought in the graveyard. The criminal will never forget that man, only because he wanted to fight him again. This feeling to find him once more and make sure that he beats him. The criminal wanted respect more than anything in a world whether it be from that person or everyone in this world. The criminal wanted to become stronger and not only show him and the person he cares about but to the whole world that Rukasu was someone that no one should never mess with.

As he continued walking the criminal, notice a large tree over the horizon of the other trees. He jumped up at the tree as he went to the top. The giant tree was not too far off. The criminal knew that he should go there. Jumping back down to the ground from the tree, the criminal knew where he was going to go. His sensory abilities were sensing anything in the 20 feet radius. Rukasu felt safer with the skill that he learned. The criminal walked a little faster, because he was excited. Of course, he could have sensed the whole area but he wanted to see for himself this large tree. He wondered if that area would be the right area to train. Rukasu needed to make sure he stayed alive and he needed to do what he had planned to do in the first place. It was also different for the criminal to understand but it was his plan that what still in the works. There was so many things to do Rukasu did not know where to start since he was still new to it all. He wanted to do things his way.

The criminal was getting closer and closer to the tree that he had noticed a little while ago. He did not know what he was going to find but he knew that maybe there was some reason that the criminal wanted to go to that specific spot. He couldn't find a reason why but he just kept on walking. He needed to find his place in this country and he hoped that he would be on the top however, he knew that there could be stronger people in this country but it was okay since the criminal would need all the experience he needed in order to grow. Soon the criminal will reach the giant tree so that he could figure out if that area would be a great spot to train and meet people. It was not talking to someone that was important; it was to see if this country had nice people as well. The criminal knew that he would have to figure out a different way to get stronger only because the criminal knew that if could utilize different techniques to throw off his opponent then he would be able to take the advantage in a fight.

Everything around Rukasu was still calm and he still felt relaxed as he kept on walking closer and closer to his destination. It was also clear that this area helped Rukasu keep a calm mind. No insanity to getting in the way, as his chaotic heart still pumps, the criminal was still able to calm himself before he killed someone again. He felt good, as a slight breeze gently passes through and all Rukasu would do was close his eyes to feel the breeze pass him. Finally, the criminal reached the wide grassy area with that giant tree in the middle. He continued to walk further as he notice this kid with white hair near the tree. It was already too late to hide so Rukasu continue walking. The criminal actually walk closer to this kid. By now, he should have noticed Rukasu unless he was blind. Rukasu stopped walking about fifteen feet away from this kid.

Is this kid a ninja? I can sense his chakra and from the looks of it, he trains hard, Rukasu thought to himself, as he did not know what to say first. Trying something new was difficult than it seemed since the criminal did not want to make the wrong impression but he was going to say something anyways. "... I am not from here, and I would like to speak to someone about anything that goes on in this country." Rukasu said, as he still did not know what to say. He opened his mouth and the words came out. The criminal knew that if there was no conversation then maybe they could fight. However, Rukasu just wanted to talk and he hoped that he would not mind talking, but if someone or this kid would like to fight then Rukasu would not mind at all.

Property of Becks.

After briefly looking over his map, Mugen decided upon his route to the village and tucked the chart away once more. "Mm, south it is." Mugen said to himself with a nod. But before he set off, Mugen produced a small canteen from his jacket pocket and spent some time refilling it with the fresh spring water. With that done, the young Kousen reached his hands into the lake cupped together before splashing some water onto his face. It was a hot day out, especially with the sun beating down without concern for the comfort of humans. Rubbing the cool and refreshing water over his skin was a pleasing respite from the harsh weather and Mugen cupped another handful to splash down his neck. It was at this point that he noticed the stranger approaching from the other side of the lake.

It wasn't a stretch to say that Rukasu looked somewhat conspicuous with the large weapon on his back and his unusual style of clothing. Yet, this did not quite peg the man as being suspicious. It was dangerous to travel without protection and there were few greater deterrents to violence than carrying around a huge sword. Standing up from the waters edge, Mugen watched the stranger carefully as he took a few steps away from the lake. "Hi there." Mugen stated a greeting plainly with a slight smile on his face. He still wasn't sure what to think of Rukasu, but he would try to be friendly at first and was already attempting to craft some kind of cover story as to who he was and what he was doing. After all, Mugen was oblivious to the fact that Rukasu had means to tell he was a shinobi or that the hebi king had already taken steps to do so.

It appeared as though the man was a few years older than Mugen was which made his apparent hesitation to speak all the more surprising. Thankfully, an awkward silence didn't extend for too long before Rukasu spoke. Unfortunately, the older shinobi came out with a rather vague question. "Anything that goes on in the country?" Mugen had no idea how to begin to answer this question or if he even should answer it in the first place. He ultimately decided to give a vague response in return. With an apologetic grin and a hand rubbing the back of his own head, Mugen made a nervous chuckle before speaking, "Umm...hehe, I don't think it's much different from any other country. People live simple enough lives..." Yes, simple. Nothing exciting going on in this country, most certainly not any ninja related business. Or at least that's what Mugen was hoping to convey.

Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] Kuro1_zps09b4c215
Hanging Tree

Kuro continued to watch the oddly dressed man from a distance, following him as he made his way through the forest. It was unclear as to where this mysterious man was headed but the Chuunin would try to figure that out. Kuro was far from being a stealthy ninja. Worse yet, he was an ultimate klutz. The amount of time he has screwed up as a Genin was plenty to laugh about. But that was a while back. His promotion brought a new sense of maturity to develop, causing him to be new person while out on the field. While he may have been the same old goofball who was bad with words around those he cared about, being in the constant threat of danger drove him to be at his best.

His lack of stealth skills was replaced with the distance he had maintained. As long as Kuro could keep himself relatively out of sight without loosing the red headed man, he could follow him to wherever his destination was. It also helped that the man seemed to have no rush, as he only walked peacefully through the forest. Keeping upper ground, Kuro followed him at the same distance hopping from branch to branch. He wasn’t sure what led him to follow the mysterious man, it was mostly just a gut feeling. Kuro was always one to be a curious George. Then again, he felt like he had seen this man somewhere before, he just couldn’t recall from where.

The man he was pursuing reached an open field that was spotted with a giant tree that stood tall at the centre around a clearwater lake. Kuro reached the edge of the circle, still standing on one of the branches and keeping himself hidden just in case if the man looked his way. For a moment, Kuro forgot he was pursuing this man to take in the beauty of the large tree that centered itself on the lake. Living in Kumo for over two years, he had never seen such a sight of nature before. He snapped out of it before he’d get himself caught and focused his eyes back on the oddly dressed man who was now approaching the tree as well as another individual who was near the base of the wooden giant. It was a familiar white haired boy that he had gone on a mission with recently.

Mugen.

It hadn’t been too long ago since they had escorted the weapon merchant to Kumogakure alongside another Genin, so it didn’t take long for Kuro to recognize the Genin. While he was sure the ninja could take care of himself, the Chuunin wasn’t going to let the pair out of his sight just yet.

The two began to engage in seemingly harmless conversation. It seemed like mindless banter like one that would take place between two married women chatting over the latest village gossip. While it seemed rather harmless from a distance, anything could be a façade. Kuro brought his left hand towards the hilt of his blade on his back, gripping it tightly without removing it from its sheath. The Chunin had a weird dislike for battle for a ninja, but the man smelled like trouble. Kuro wouldn’t hesitate to apprehend the man if he needed to and as of right now, he had the advantage of surprise. The distance had increased since his pursuit to about 60 meters, which seemed to be the radius of the open field. The red-eyed boy took a deep breathe, and exhaled in sync with the passing wind that shook the leaves around him. He had a bad feeling about this.

"When there is a true desire in the heart and that desire is strong… that is when he finds real strength that even he did not know he had."
-Quoted by Orochimaru

The white haired kid told Rukasu that not much goes on around here. It seemed that this shinobi did not get out much or he was not into the outside world of his. It was not much to go on but Rukasu could find out more about this kid to see if he was someone worth talking to about anything. Rukasu did not know if he should keep talking to this kid. It was quite strange that he met someone here at an area where he saw this giant tree. The landmark must be a guide that helps lost people find their way or there is another reason why it is here. Rukasu knew that it is a tree and it grows but there must be a reason why the tree soars over the other trees. It was not that important for Rukasu but he needed to have a conversation to see what the shinobi of this country think. Rukasu cared less about a giant tree that meant nothing to him and he knew that this tree could be the start of a conversation about anything. The criminal felt that he started this conversation on the wrong footing. Rukasu needed to figure out the people and shinobi of the Lightning country have their way to live their lives different from the way the people and shinobi in the Fire country or the same. A question he wanted answers to before he made up his mind. Rukasu wanted to find out if Lightning and Fire were alike or different. Something like this would give the criminal the right decision to choose his path for the future.

The criminal looked at this kid and wondered what skills he possessed since there was something about his chakra that Rukasu sensed intrigued him. It was oddly enough that this kid’s eyes were teal color with a golden halo and with white made for the strangest combination. His snake eyes focused on the kid with no intension of hurting him since he still needed to find out more. Rukasu was trying something new, and that was to talk to someone without killing the person in the process. Rukasu wanted to see if he could control his urges to kill and for the most part it worked but at the same time, he really wanted to kill this kid. The criminal was not going to since he wanted more than just killing people for no reason. He heard everything the boy said to him and now it was time for Rukasu to answer back before it became awkward for the both of them. The criminal kept his eyes on this kid with a fake innocent smile, which the criminal was not used to smiling in the nice way.

“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rukasu. I will not tell you my last name just because I do have some trust issues and if you are able to gain my trust then I will tell you. What is your name? I know I am not from here and you seem like a nice person. Usually people judge me before they even get a second look at me. Are you not frightened by the way I look and my giant sized weapon? I asked this because most people see my weapon on my back and assume I am up to no good.” Rukasu said as he hoped he did not say too much but he knew that maybe this kid was as mice as Mana and there is hope for this Country. Rukasu knew that one day would come where he will have to choose one or the other, and that would mean spending his time on both sides.

The criminal felt something was off but he could not point a finger on it, all he knew what that this certain feeling was as if someone was watching him closely. Rukasu kept calm because he still could not sense the person but he knew he could widen his range of sensory but he did not want to give out one of his skills away. The criminal just acted as if nothing was wrong but he did make sure his guard was up but at the same time, he also made sure that he was just talking to the kid. Rukasu always believes in his hunches so if that person that is watching him does not come out then Rukasu would not bother the feeling. However if this feeling worsens then the criminal will have no other choice to see if this spy was friend or foe. For the time being the simple chat, presume as the criminal acted normal with that smile on his face, “What is your purpose? What do you want to achieve in the future? I hope you do not mind me asking these weird questions. It is just that I am trying to find out what makes everyone so different in this world.” Rukasu said as he hopes this conversation was not going to weird out the boy and he had hoped that the person supposedly watching would stop and come out already. Rukasu also figured it could have been his imagination, and he knew he barely had any imagination. The criminal will have to wait and see if this hunch is true or not.

Property of Becks.

The way this man stared at Mugen was a bit unsettling. His eyes were like those of a snakes and had the color of blood about them. But even more so unsettling was his smile. It was not one filled with kindness and seemed somewhat forced. But more than anything, the smile had a hint of unnaturalness to it as though it were not an expression this stranger made often. Regardless, the one known as "Rukasu" introduced himself cordially enough. It was a bit rude that he didn't share his last name and suspicious as it suggested he had something to hide. But Mugen wasn't quick to judge him over this. People usually hid things because they had a reason to do so. Secrecy alone was not a reason to condemn someone, it was the reason behind that hidden information that really mattered.

"Genmu, no last name."

If this stranger was not going to be open, then Mugen would return the gesture. Mugen introduced himself with a quick false name made by simply mixing around the letters of his first name. It was even partly truthful that he had no last name since the exile from his clan came with a condition that Mugen was forbidden from calling himself a member of the Kousen clan.

When asked about whether or not Mugen feared this man and his huge slab of metal he dared to call a "sword" at a first glance, the young genin's brow furrowed. It was a bit upsetting to hear that people passed judgement on this man for something like that. "Well, I'd be lying if I said you didn't have an intimidating look about you...but that isn't a reason to fear you. The world can be a dangerous place. Or at least that's what my father used to tell me before he..." Mugen paused and thought about his father's face. He hadn't seen or spoken to either of his parents since the exile. Realizing that he was pausing for too long and that it would seem as though his father had passed away, Mugen shook his head and pushed the thoughts aside. "...Nevermind...The point is that carrying a weapon means you're smart. Whether or not you're dangerous is something people should decide after meeting you. Or at least that's what I've been taught."

Mugen was still trying to make sense of just what this stranger wanted by this point. He went quiet and listened for Rukasu's next words with an open mind. The boy was eager to get on his way and return to the mission at hand, but he didn't want to be rude either. The next few questions were strange and admittedly(by Rukasu) weird in nature. Once again, Mugen couldn't answer with full honesty but the boy wouldn't let it show. After a thoughtful pause, Mugen responded naturally with a quick retort, "I'd like to serve someone important to me one day...be a strength to help them in times of need. As for what I'd like to achieve. Finding a place in my family is really all I've wanted for the past year...But there isn't a spot for me there anymore. At least not right now..." It was painful to think of the clan, but that pain was genuine and reflected on Mugen's face. This honesty made it easier to hide his deception.

"Anyways, I need to deliver some herbs to a nearby village otherwise I won't get paid. If I don't get paid, I don't eat. But I wish you luck on your journey mister."

With that, Mugen bowed slightly and took his leave walking onwards to towards his destination leaving Rukasu with his thoughts and the stalking chunin.

Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] Kuro1_zps09b4c215
The Man Named Rukasu

The time was passing by slowly as the conversation between the two distinct males continued. Kuro observed patiently, trying to recall where he had seen the redheaded male before. Certainly it must’ve not been in person since he would have recalled the unique style the male had, and it wasn’t from any dream either since it was the colorless haired woman who plagued his sleep. With the continuous observance of the suited male, Kuro had finally remembered.

Removing his hand from his katana’s hilt, Kuro reached into his ninja pouch and pulled out a small book with the words “Bingo Book” written on the front side. While keeping an eye on the two males who stood near the giant tree, the Chunin flipped about halfway through the page to find the redheaded male under the alias Hebi, Rukasu.

“Tsk"

Kuro’s eyebrows furrowed to the sight of the criminal as his hatred sprung up within the very depths of his mind. He quickly slammed the book shut without a sound to be heard over the singing wind. He placed the book back into his pouch and pulled out a senbon and some wire. Keeping his sights on Rukasu, Kuro placed the thin projectile between his teeth, holding it steady like a toothpick while he tightly wrapped the ninja wire around edge of his katana’s hilt.

Get out of there Mugen.

Kuro began to worry for the boy who was taking to the flaming haired individual. The criminal was listed as someone with the skill of a Special Jonin, a rank even higher than Kuro’s own. This wasn’t going to stop him from trying to stop the man who has dedicated his life to hurting others. By the looks of the Bingo Book, Rukasu has built quite a reputation based on his bounty. Memories of Kuro childhood flooded his mind and how the hands of criminals who only wanted materialistic things took all of it away; Criminals who had enjoyed killing the people that he loved. This is one of the main reasons why Kuro became a ninja, to stop those who wanted to inflict pointless harm on others.

What seemed like hours of observation had been mere seconds as the boy bowed and took his leave towards the opposite direction of where Kuro stood. Waiting until the boy had made his way across into the tree line, Kuro pulled out two shuriken from his ninja kit and flicked it towards the criminal who stood near the giant tree. One was aimed towards the man’s lower back and the other towards the back of his neck. The Chunin proceeded to step down from the branch that he stood in for cover and stepped out into the open field. He was a bit jittery from the rage that was built inside him but tried to keep his calm demeanor.

The thrown projectiles were meant to only catch the man’s attention, but if he failed to turn around, then it would have dug into his skin. Kuro continued to walk towards the Nukenin, each step taken carefully to measure the distance he made from the tree line and the center of the open field. One he made it to the edge of the lake and stopped. The distance between Kuro and the male was now only about 20 meters.

“Rukasu isn’t it?”

Kuro let out the words through his mouth, still holding the senbon steady between his teeth. His eyes narrowed slightly as he grabbed the hilt of his Katana’s sheath. He could feel his headband dangling from the edge of the sword’s holster from the slight movement of his touch. Kuro wasn’t sure how this was going to go down, but he was ready for whatever came next. He just wasn’t sure if he would be able to control his rage long enough to hear the man out.

"When there is a true desire in the heart and that desire is strong… that is when he finds real strength that even he did not know he had."
-Quoted by Orochimaru

The criminal and the kid with the white hair had a conversation for a bit and this little meeting between the two was a good one. Yeah there were some suspicions but at the same time, no one judged another. The criminal did lie about his life a bit but at the same time, he was telling the truth. He still wanted to know what this kid had that made him who he is. It was obvious that Rukasu would like to get to know this kid more to find out where this kid was going to take his journey in the future. The kid talked about Rukasu was a smart person for carrying a weapon around. The criminal could tell that this kid was a smart shinobi but how smart was he and was this kid able to get himself out of certain situations. What the criminal meant by certain situations was that if this kid was going to be killed then was he capable of getting out of there alive. The criminal still needed to talk to him more but it seemed that he needed to do something important. Genmu was this kids name, however it was not his real name. Rukasu would never know that until the truth comes out. Rukasu nodded as he waved him goodbye, and as the kid walked away the criminal heard something in the wind hurling towards him. The criminal's instinct helped him react quickly to dodge the two shurikens that passed by him.

Then his senses picked up when he focus his chakra sensory, someone was within his 20-meter range. When he looked, he had seen this kid on guard. “Rukasu isn’t it?” this strange kid said, as Rukasu did not completely understand how this kid knew who he was without actually meeting the kid. What did this kid wanted and why was he trying to attack the criminal. Rukasu was not going to ask question and just kill the poor boy but that was the old Rukasu. Now Rukasu was not going to let his anger get the best of him, but he did notice this kid holding the hilt of his katana. It was obvious that this kid might not be the talking type but it was worth a try and Rukasu was not going to attack until he knew what he is dealing with. Rukasu just had a serious look on him, but this look also had some annoyance with it as well.

Grabbing the handle of his giant sword with his right hand, lifting it upward and then placing the blade on his shoulders he watched this kid to see if he was going to react. “Who are you and what do you want? What makes you think I am the Rukasu you speak of? Don't worry I won’t attack unless you are giving me a reason to." Rukasu said he would try to get out of this situation first before trying to fight some kid. However, if he had no other choice then Rukasu would have to hurt the boy. The criminal had already made up his mind not to kill him and the criminal still wondered if this kid is going to fight him to kill or not. The criminal would most definitely have to hold back but how much would the criminal have to hold himself back. The criminal also thought that there could be a chance that this kid was stronger than he looks, and he would have to show this kid not to mess with him.

How was it possible that some kid was able to follow me, without me noticing? There is no way he knew how much distance to stay away from so I would not know. I am going to make sure I find out how he knows about me. There is a chance he seen me from the Bingo book, or maybe my description has reached all its way into the lightening country. I need to figure this out, because he said my name. I honestly hope he knows whom he is dealing with. Rukasu thought to himself as he watched this kid carefully. The criminal was not going to let his guard down not even for a moment. If this kid wanted a fight then the criminal was going to give this kid a fight.

There was twenty meters of space between each other, which gave Rukasu and the other one more than enough space to react to anything that would happen in the next few moments. Rukasu still having a grip on the handle of his blade, and the red part of his sword is facing away from him. Who knew what was going to happen since Rukasu needed to know if this kid is friend or foe just because. The kid could have thrown the shurikens just to get the criminal's attention. It was just a thought but this insane criminal was about to get his answer soon, and he needed to know since he was craving a fight with someone and it has been a long time since his last fight. Since that last fight, Rukasu has gotten more skilled than he had ever been, and soon he would even surpass his limitations as well.

Time for New Adventures [ARRIVAL/OPEN] Kuro1_zps09b4c215
Protecting My Home

Kuro didn’t do as little as flinch when the red-haired boy evaded his shuriken with ease. Coming from an experienced Nukenin as experienced as Rukasu was, such an attack would only land once in a blue moon. The Chuunin still gripped his blade tightly with his left hand, feeling his headband dangle side to side from the edge of his sheath as he walked. The closer Kuro got to the man, the more he was assured that the man that stood before him was none other than Hebi, Rukasu. The image in the bingo book matched him perfectly.

Without a slight moment of hesitation, Kuro unsheathed his katana at twice the speed that Rukasu pulled out his giant sword. As his sword made its arc downwards upon the redheaded males shoulder, Kuro let his blade twirl through his fingers before grabbing it with both hands. Kuro’s facial expression went unmoved, but he couldn’t possibly fathom how such a scrawny looking man could wield such a sword. By the looks of it, the Nukenin probably sacrificed some mobility and speed for strength.

Rukasu spoke asking way too many questions that Kuro didn’t feel like answering. He didn’t need to explain himself to this criminal. Kuro was certain of who he was, and what had to be done to people like him. His last remark seemed like it was supposed to be intimidating. His promise of not attacking unless the Chunin gave him reason to seemed weightless. Kuro wasn’t afraid of fighting this man. On the contrary, he wanted to bring him to justice. For all the wrongs he’s surely done. For the ones he plans on doing in the future. Men like him didn’t deserve to live.

“I’m not worried.”

His voice was low, barely audible over the sounds of nature but loud enough for the Nukenin to hear. Trying to regulate the rage the he suppressed, the words had slipped out of his lips in a deadly manner.

“I know who you are, and the danger that you pose. I won’t allow you to roam free in this country.”

Kuro was certain that a battle was about to unfold between the two ninja. Before this, Kuro had never really had to face such a threat on his own before but he was one of the most skilled Genin of his class, and one of the most promising Chunin. He had faith in his own skill, and would not let the man that stood before him run around to do what he pleases in the land of lightning. This place had become his home over the last two years, and he would do whatever he could to protect it.

Kuro took a step back with his left foot and placed his katana vertically in front of him, entering into Seigan No Kamae. He carefully observed his opponent, waiting for any sudden movements in response to the Chunin’s battle position. He lets a few moments pass in his head before he made any moves himself, trying his best not to let his rage for criminals cloud his judgment. If the Criminal failed to respond, Kuro would commence his attack.

One....
Two...
Three!

With a slight movement of his left hand, he reached into his ninja kit on his left thigh and pulled out two more shuriken, flicking them at his enemy in the time frame of less than a second. The pair of ninja stars were aimed for his thighs, one left and one right. It would be tough for the criminal to try to evade the attack with his sword if he tried due to its current position.

Following the thrown shuriken, Kuro sprinted behind the projectiles. He observed his opponent closely as he was quickly closing the distance between the two. However Rukasu decided to dodge the shuriken, Kuro was ready with a follow up attack. The Chunin was ready for this battle.

Snake King VS Ice Kid
Round 1
Fight!

The kid still twenty meters away as he looked at the criminal with no worries about anything. Rukasu knew there was no to make this kid change his mind. Rukasu knew that there could be a chance that if they do fight his insanity would come out and then this kid would be in a whole other world of hurt. Rukasu wanted to test himself as well to see if he could control his insanity and fight focused. This battle was almost underway as this kid looked to be a few years younger but that was not anything important. From the looks of it, the kid focused on Rukasu. The criminal could already tell from this kid that he did not like criminals. The kid said what he had to say as the criminal smiled.

He knows who I am, and yet he still wants to face me. This kid got balls, but can he if he could back it up. Rukasu thought to himself as he noticed the kid put his sword in front of him vertically. The criminal did the same thing right after, with a smirk as this battle started to heat up his blood a little. It was going to be hard to control this insanity since Rukasu lived for fighting. When it came to fighting, the criminal just felt more alive. Rukasu looked at the kid and new that this was going to fun, and he felt that maybe he could teach this kid something for the future.

"I am Rukasu Hebi the Snake King! hehe, I am glad that you let the kid leave since I was not going to hurt him. If a fight is what you want then be prepared. I am not going to hold back, but do me one favor. If you don't mind, Show me what the Shinobi of this country can do. Show me what you can do. If you don't then you will die, so be prepared for a fight you have never in your life will witness." Rukasu said as he smiled, so eager to see what this kid was going to do. Every second that passed the tension grew and it felt as if Rukasu's skin was crawling with excitement. The battle was soon about to begin as the criminal ready himself as much as the kid.

Rukasu watched as the kid quickly grabbed two shurikens, flicking them towards Rukasu then he charged ahead staying behind the shurikens. The criminal could already tell he was most likely a close combat fighter but it was too soon to tell by his first actions. The criminal would have to watch closely in order to figure out different possibilities to fight him. Rukasu was ready no matter what but he also thought about playing with his food before eating. Which would only meant that the criminal was mostly going to toy with him until he got bored. This battle might last a long time or it might be over in a few seconds. Soon this kid will see why he should not ever approach the criminal in the first place.

There was nothing special about a frontal attack, so this had a plan and the criminal was not very worried. The criminal figured he match whatever he was going to bring, grabbing two shurikens and then throwing them at the two shurikens to quickly deflect it. Right after the criminal threw the shurikens he charged right behind then about half a meter or so. Once the four weapons deflected themselves both swords clashed. Rukasu smiled as he glared at him, using more strength to force the kid slowly down to his knees. If the kid backed down by letting go of the handle he will bit quickly forced to the ground and that could mean the end of the kid but for now, Rukasu kept on forcing, and it was not that hard since the criminal was able to handle twice the strength that he ever could.

The criminal did not know if the boy was as strong or if he had other skills but the criminal was about to find out. It has been a while that Rukasu had been in a fight but he was going to let anyone put him to shame ever again. The criminal watched this kid as he fought back, the anger in his eyes, the fierce determination that brought him here was quite impressive and the criminal wanted to know more. This battle was going to decide if this kid is worth it or not. Rukasu felt that he needed to know whom he was dealing with since there could be a chance that he could convert him to the dark side. Their swords still clashed as Rukasu kept on pushing out more strength, "What is your name?" Rukasu said as he kept on adding more and more strength little by little. Soon the criminal will make his decision about this kid.

Tick Tock

The man with the flaming red hair once again deflected the two shuriken. It was no surprise that the man could block such a basic attack, but it was a matter of reading into how his opponent would react. Kuro was quickly reaching his opponent, watching him as he brought his heavy sword down to meet his. Though, Kuro had never planned on going for such an attack that would cause the two blades to clash. By looking at just the sheer size of the sword, it was quite obvious to see that the Nukenin had some crazy strength to him to be carrying around such a large weapon. There was no way the Chunin would be able to match that strength and he was certainly not going to put it to the test.

Kuro watched as the giant blade was brought down to defend the boy’s slim body. With the slight delay it took him to pull down the blade, Kuro stopped his sprint about six meters away. Running at the man head on was probably not the best idea in this situation. The Nuke outmatched him in strength and possibly even in skill. He took a deep breath and let the rage that filled him leave his body through a slow exhale. If he wanted to win this battle, he needed to calm down.

“My name is none of your concern criminal”

The boy responded with intense ferocity. The last time he shared his name to a criminal, it was to the man who called himself Mokuzai. Kuro wouldn’t make that mistake twice. Hearing Rukasu speak only fuelled the anger he was trying to put out. Kuro wasn’t scared of death. He knew that his time would come, but only when it would be destined for him to die and today wouldn’t be that day. If the man really wanted to see what Kumogakure was made of, The Yuki ninja would definitely show him that.

Kuro removed his right hand of the hilt of his bad and formed a single hand sign. The clouds that had lingered above began to darken slightly, letting out frozen water particles fall gracefully from above. Though, there was something different about this snow. Due to the origins of Kuro’s name, he worked hard to darken to color of his technique. The snow that fell from above was black in color, resembling ash instead.

The soft particles began to land gently on the ground, beginning to gather in bulk. Kuro continued to stare intently at his opponent, thinking of his next step. He couldn’t attack hastily or the battle would end quickly with his defeat.

“ I may not have been able to stop Mokuzai, but I will stop you.”

Kuro’s voice was soft and barely audible. He was mostly talking to himself so he was unsure if Rukasu heard him. The Chunin could recall the man who called himself Mokuzai, The Nukenin who lied to his face about who he was affiliated with. It angered him that he was unable to meet Mokuzai for a second time. The criminal had escaped him back then, but Kuro vowed to never let a criminal get away again.

The snow was beginning to gather nicely around the area, covering the landscape in a black coating. The battle had yet to truly get started, but Kuro was going to have to fish out Rukasu’s weak spots if he hoped to win this battle. He continued to study his enemy, watching his every movement to try to get an understanding of his tactics. Kuro his free hand behind his back, ready to form hand signs while keeping his blade steady in front of him. He wanted Rukasu to come towards him, He wanted this Criminal to cease his care-free nature and truly fight him.

“You haven’t moved from that spot. If you don’t start trying… I will kill you without a moment of hesitation.”

Kuro spoke with confidence, but was slightly unsure of himself. Since becoming a ninja, he had never fought anyone of higher skill than his own. He wasn’t sure what to expect from Rukasu. The only thing he could possibly identify from this man was the strength he must have from wielding the giant sword. Other than that, what else did he possibly know? He couldn’t show his doubt. Showing weakness to a criminal only feeds their desire for destruction.

"When there is a true desire in the heart and that desire is strong… that is when he finds real strength that even he did not know he had."
-Quoted by Orochimaru

In a few seconds before Rukasu's blade, made contact the kid had jumped backward. Was this kid trying to be smart for this battle he had no chance of winning? The criminal was unsure if there was any plan behind the simple mind of this kid. However, Rukasu was not going to let this kid get the upper hand. His new battle style was on a completely different level then he was back then. He knew how to fight without using his insanity but he also knew how to use it well. Rukasu looked at this kid as he formed one hand seal with only one hand. Rukasu had yet to see someone use one hand or he did but could not remember. Rukasu, now more interested to see what the kid can do and also confused as he watch this ash like substance falling from the sky. Rukasu could not understand what this kid can do by just this one jutsu. He knew that there could be a chance that there is some skill that Rukasu has yet to see but he also knew that there is another chance that this kid has yet to see what the Snake king can do. A smile came across his face, as he watched this kid closely.

“I may not have been able to stop Mokuzai, but I will stop you.” He said softly, and Rukasu's eyes widen. He heard him correctly, but at the same time, he could not believe it. He only mentioned that name to himself but he had never heard someone else saying that name. Surprised that someone kid like him knew him but it was not possible. Rukasu then figured it out, it was clear that Mokuzai traveled to the lightning country because he told Rukasu that he came from the fire country. Rukasu wanted to see this person once again and to show him how strong he had gotten. Now a plan has accrued in the mind of Rukasu, he was going to fight this kid until he gets all the information he needs.

"Did you say Mokuzai? I faced him when I was just a low ranked criminal. That man pushed me to travel, well it has been years since I last seen him, but I am now looking for him at the same time I am doing the things I need to do. Do you know where he is?" Rukasu said as he looked at the kid and what he said after was funny for the criminal since this kid appeared to have no fear against the criminal. This kid challenged Rukasu to attack practically right after he did some ash falling jutsu. Did the kid think Rukasu was some kind of idiot that did not know how to fight? Rukasu could most likely kill this kid without breaking a sweat but his new motive was now different and in this fight, he wanted to try something out. Rukasu thought for a second to figure out what he was going to do but he knew that he would be able to figure it out soon enough. The criminal knew he could save his chakra against this kid but at the same time, he knew he was going to show this kid where his place lies in this world.

Rukasu still had the memories of Mokuzai in his mind, as he looked at this kid. What was it that brought that criminal to the lightning? Was it the same reason Rukasu is in the lightning country? The criminal did not know the answers but he did know that this kid knew something or at least someone. Rukasu needed to see Mokuzai, even if no one could find him anywhere. Now Rukasu needed to see how this kid's reaction speeds was and he knew just the technique to start things off in this battle. Grabbing a senbon from his pocket, the criminal threw it directly at the kid with a spin to it. This would act as a bullet and now it was test number one for the kid. After throwing the weapon, the criminal held his weapon with a firm grip with his guard up ready for anything. Soon the real battle was about to begin, but how was this kid going to prove himself against Rukasu. The criminal knew it was only a matter of time until the kid gives up. Rukasu also thought of something brilliant, but at that moment, he was going to wait before he was going to share his next plan for this fight.

Mokuzai

“Tsk.”

It came little to no surprise that the red headed male that stood before Kuro knew who Mokuzai was. The Chunin was more shocked that the male was able to hear him whisper that name leave his lips. The moment that name has escaped Kuro’s lips, the criminal’s eyes had widen in surprise. It seemed obvious to him that the Nukenin must’ve had some sort of criminal network amongst their ranks and that they all stayed connected. Either that, or Rukasu was some sort of close friend of Mokuzai. If that were the case, Kuro would seek his revenge on him by killing the flaming headed male that stood before him.

"Did you say Mokuzai? I faced him when I was just a low ranked criminal. That man pushed me to travel, well it has been years since I last seen him, but I am now looking for him at the same time I am doing the things I need to do. Do you know where he is?”

Kuro let the man speak, letting his eyes drift to the clouds above for the slightest moment to watch the dark snow fall gracefully to the ground. Reverting his attention back to Rukasu, he gave him a slight nod before he smirked.

“Yes, I do.”

Kuro was lying, he had no idea of what had happened to the man who once called himself Yoichuru during their only encounter. The last he heard of Mokuzai was when he overheard two Jonin discussing his apparent death. Whether he was actually dead was unclear to the Chunin, but maybe he could ignite something within the criminal to get him to actually fight. There was also the case of the lady from the hidden mist who had known Mokuzai fairly well. Since becoming Chunin, he had received new intel of her captivity in Kumogakure. Even now, he has yet to have crossed paths with her on the streets of the village.

The smirk vanished from the Chunin’s face, replacing it was a cold glare as the criminal had finally made his first move. Kuro’s eyes shifted to the man’s hands that reached towards his ninja pouch, the other hand maintaining the large sword. It became evidently clear that this man had some crazy strength if he was holding his blade up with one hand.

What the man pulled pulled out was none other than a projectile thrown at him with great power. With a slight twist of his wrist, Kuro intercepted the senbon as it clashed with his sword. The projectile spun uncontrollably towards his right before piercing itself into the dirt. The technique that Rukasu used was familiar to him since it was the one that he used himself. Besides having a large sword, it was becoming apparent that the man was also a weapons user.

Moving with the momentum of blocking the attack, Kuro brought his sword arm back as if reaching for his opposite leg before bringing it upwards, as if he was slashing vertically from bottom to top. Once his arm was at mid swing, he took a hop backwards of two meters and released his katana sending it towards the Nuke as if it were a tomahawk. The blade spun in a dangerous fashion that would make it almost impossible to catch unless someone had proper training to do so. Kuro brought back his arm, placing it in front of him to prepare for the next part of the battle while his other hand remained close to his sheath just in case if he had to play defense. He didn't know how Rukasu would react, but it didn't matter. His fate laid in the ground beneath him, six feet under.

“Yes, I do.” is what this kid in front of Rukasu had said. This only meant that he was telling the truth or he was lying. Now Rukasu was more than excited to fight this kid in a one on one match. Rukasu was going to up his level against this kid to see how much he could handle in this fight but at the same time, there was not much time left. Rukasu had other things to do and he wanted to do them before he had to do the things in his life. Still the criminal was going to entertain the kid until time was up. Rukasu wanted to know what else this kid knew but how to get it out of him, and then he figured it out. He knew what he was going to do and he was going to have some fun with this kid.

The criminal watch to see this kid react to the senbon but he acted calm as ever. He blocked the senbon with his sword, an easy trick Rukasu could do as well.  Rukasu still watched him closely and for some reason this kid was a bit unorthodox in some way. Since the kid jumped backward a few feet as he threw his own sword. Rukasu's eyes widen as he quickly got into a stance as he forced his chakra to his hands and arms. Holding the giant blade as if it was a baseball bat, watching the sword closely as it was getting closer. The criminal also focused his strength into his legs and arms. Rukasu was going to show the difference in power and make sure this kid don't try anything stupid like that again. Once the blade was close, enough he swung his sword hitting the sword at the blade part. Now there is a chance that the kid's sword my break, or if the metal is hard enough to withstand this technique plus his strength, the sword will shoot back at the kid. In addition, the sword thrown would double its speed because of Rukasu's strength.

It was now Rukasu's turn to attack and this was going to add some flavor to this battle. Rukasu had yet to use his friend in battle and it was fair game when it came to a fight. The criminal put his sword on his back then formed a series of hand seals; until he formed the last seal, he raised his left hand and bit his thumb to where there was blood showing. Right after that, he slammed his hands to the ground. "SUMMONING JUTSU!” Rukasu yelled then instantly a large white smoke appeared engulfing the whole area. Rukasu was on top of the creature he summoned.

"It has been a while Kin, hasn't it?" Rukasu said to Kin, his yellow golden snake.

"Hehehehe It hassss... Now What do we have here? You mean to tell me you can't handle this runt?" Kin said in a dark evil deep voice.

"I can handle him, but I would like to see more of his capabilities without me wasting chakra. So Far he has made his snow like ash fall from the sky and he has been throwing weapons, including his sword." Rukasu said as he chuckled a little. He knew that his snake would eat this boy up but Rukasu had other plans for this kid. "Oh btw, I will feed you later, just don't eat this kid." Rukasu finally said as the smoke started to clear up slowly.

"Are you serious, you summon me with no offerings? Dammit, Rukasu… fine. I will do this once and this one time only. Let’s have fun shall we." Kin said as he smiled evilly looking through the smoke at his new target.

"Hey kid I want you to show me what you are made of, not throw your sword around like a boomerang. HAHAHAHAHA Bring it on Kid!" Rukasu said as he crossed his arm, standing on top of his fifteen feet tall snake. Rukasu wondered what the boy was about to do next, and this was a test to see if this kid could take it. The criminal saw potential in this boy so it only made sense to test him completely to push his limits. Rukasu jumped off his snake and walked further back about five meters. Rukasu knew he was going to enjoy this very much.

I wonder if this kid really can fight off Kin, and I wonder for how long. There is only one way to find out. I need to know what this kid knows and have him tell me. In addition, for him telling me, I need to see if this kid has what it take to make it in the real world. I am going to let Kin handle this but I know if Kin needs me then I am going to go on the attack. For now, I will still keep this a far one on one match. Rukasu thought to himself as the smoke finally cleared away and the boy could have attacked but there is also the chance he would be too busy to handle with sword coming at him. Rukasu looked over to Kin and signaled him to start the rampage. Kin was born to fight no matter what the fight’s purpose was. To the giant snake, a fight was a fight. Win or lose, in a fight there is always one of each. Kin and Rukasu knew that but was the kid one of those shinobi’s that believed in Draws. A draw is two shinobi finished the fight at the same time or died at the same time. Rukasu did not believe in draws but what he did believe was that he was going to beat this kid until he could not move anymore and leave the area with the kid all by himself.  Rukasu was now closer to the giant tree, and the criminal knew if things were getting crazy, he would climb the tree.
